Cosmo Imai

Cosmo is a very hyperactive lover, he's always ready to play, to be on the go, or to hang out. He's childish but he's also very sweet, extremely affectionate. He loves hugs and cuddles, he likes to always have a piece of his body touching yours. Whether it's the hips, your knees, shoulders, hands, arms, or even backs, he could care less he just wants to have you close. He's a bit of a handful to take care of but he's enduring at the same time, he gave you a sense of chaotic balance. He gave excitement, he gave laughter, he gave thriller... However, he was usually very careful around you. He's never run into you, he's never dropped anything on you, he's never hit you, and he never did any of it he was always cautious and aware of your presence, so it came as a shock when he accidentally rammed his elbow into your side, very hard.

Your pained cry pulled him from his thoughts as he quickly tended to you, his chest to your back as he hugged you from behind his lips pressing kisses into your shoulder and neck as he repeatedly expressed how sorry he was and that he didn't mean it while he rubbed your side. You cringed, your face twisted in pain as you felt the throbbing pain slowly dull, your hand came up, reaching back as you ran your fingers through his hair, reassuring him that you weren't mad and that accidents happen.

You just wanted him to be more careful in the future, and he promised that he would.

Raian Kure

He's the literal definition of 'A headache.' He keeps you busy, literally too. He's everywhere he shouldn't be, he's a literal gremlin, and he's evil. He bullies you, teases you, gives you playful punches to your arms, random bodyslams on the bed and couch, smashes you against the wall with his body, calming 'Not enough space to walk by.', he'll pull your hair, steal your clothes when they're too cute, he was the devil. He was loveable at times however, he could be slightly sweet at times. He can be kind, give you restaurant food, help with the laundry, even though he doesn't fold them... He'll help with the dishes, even though he doesn't put them away... He'll vacuum, he'll try and make the bed, help you with mundane tasks when you didn't ask him too.

He was a distant lover, he wasn't affectionate but he did express love through his body language and actions. Giving you his full attention, he always remembers the most important things you say, he'll buy you things you want even when you didn't ask him to, give you rough shoulder bumps or even knee brushes. He's a rough lover, he played rough, but he'd never actually intentionally hurt you. So when he accidentally pushed you a little harder than expected, you stumbled from the heavier-than-usual push as you fell and hit the floor hard on your hip. You hissed as you grabbed your hip. He was stunned, he didn't know what to say or do, he stood there, his eyes wide as he stared down at you flabbergasted. He didn't say anything as he watched you get up, your hand rubbing your hip as you leaned aginst the wall for support.

He was distant after that, but he kept his eyes on you, whenever you'd look around he'd duck away from your view... it was cute, he was like a dog in trouble, or maybe even a child who was feeling bad about hurting someone but they didn't mean it. He would watch you intensely, leaving small little gifts around for you to find. A favorite snack, a beat-up flower, washed and dried dishes, your favorite movie on and a blanket on the couch, small chores already done. He'd do this for about a week before he'd approach you normally. You'd be on the couch, relaxing while watching whatever on TV, and he'd randomly walk by, going into the kitchen. He'd grab a drink taking a few gulps before he'd come back to the couch, flopping down as he's gradually ease his head down into your lap. You'd smile, your hands running through his hair and he'd get comfortable.

It'll be some time before he moves, laying on his stomach, head still firmly placed on your lap as his hands come up, and you'd smile as you feel them rubbing your hips, giving you a silent apology.

Saw Paing Yoroizuka

(My husband ❤)... He's a handful, extremely loud, wild flamboyant, excitable... he's everything anyone could love but he's the overdose version of it, however he isn't always loud and wild. He can tone it down if you ask him to, he can be on your level if that's what you want, but if he's excited then you can forget it. He's extremely affectionate, he'll give you random deep kisses, hugs from behind, and cuddles, and he'll help you cook and clean. He loves to spend quality time with you, no matter what it is. He wants to do the most domestic tasks with you no matter how small or how mundane they could be.

He'd sometimes play box with you, throws a soft punch into your cheek, chin, back, stomach, and legs, and then he'd give you a random tickle attack to your sides while he'd liter your cheek and neck with kisses. He was a bit of a cuddle bug too, he loved giving hugs, holding your hand, intertwining your legs, any form of cuddle that he could fine he'd do it. He's usually very gentle with you as well, accidents were common with Saw, unfortunately, it wouldn't be the first time he's run into you, stepped on your toes, smashed your finger, pulled your hair, bit your tongue or lip while kissing, he was just accident prone and that unfortunately added you into the mix. But never once has he not apologized. He'd always get so dramatic with his apologies, damn near ready to break his back just because he accidentally scratched you.

So when he accidentally bumped his forehead into your nose, simply because you both were cuddling on the bed, his head tucked under your chin as he hugged you around your waist. You asked him a question and he lifted his head to address you when he ran his forehead into your nose. Your head reeled back as you scrunched your face up, your hand coming up to cradle your nose but his hand reached up quicker. He'd apologize over and over and over again, rubbing your nose gently to ease the pain. He'll kiss your nose, eyelids, and cheeks over and over until you respond. You'd let him know that it's okay but he'd still feel bad, he's supposed to protect you not hurt you.

But all would be forgiven when you'd give him a sweet kiss, making him hush up as you'd hug him close to you, silently cuddling on the bed as you'd both doze off.

Wakatsuki Takeshi

He's extremely cautious, getting hurt by him on accident would be nonexistent with him, he's an older man so he isn't too wild nor too hyper, he's a very calm soul, always quite and tamed, relaxed and slow-paced. He takes severe caution when he moves around the house. Never moving fast, always aware of his surroundings never swinging his arms around, nothing. He was a slow yet sweet person. He was affectionate but through body language and actions. He wasn't a touchy person, he in facts barely touches you but he gives you attention. He listens to you, spends time with you, helps you carry things, buys you things, and drives you wherever you want no matter the time of day.

If you did get hurt, it wouldn't be because of him, it'll be because you're clumsy or just didn't know that he was coming around the corner. You're usually the faster mover of the relationship, you walk faster, talk faster, move faster. You did everything faster than he did, so it was common for you to trip, drop things, cut yourself, step on things, slip, run into counters, stub your toes, swing your arm into random shit, and even run into him, but he'd always catch you before you'd fall, but the impact always felt like you ran into a damn wall. He'd always ask if you were okay, keeping a firm hold on you until you'd pull back and he'd slowly release you, letting you stand on your own.

He'd give you a small light-hearted lecture after you confirmed that you're fine, about moving slower and not being in such a rush, he was sure that wherever you were trying to get to would still be there, even though you'd sometimes argue him down that the quicker you get it over with the quicker you can get on with life. He'd roll his eyes as he gave an amused chuckle but he wouldn't stop you from zooming and dashing through the house, waiting until the next time you'd crash into him, he'll always be ready to catch you.

In the IV/A duology, it's established that smartphones are a rare commodity. Mainly because, of course, they're able to use the Devil Summoning Program. But what IV also touches on is that phones aren't just hard to come by -- their scarcity is also being manufactured by the Ashura-kai in an effort to control Tokyo's hierarchy.

Early on, there's an NPC in Ueno who comments that most of Tokyo's smartphones were thrown out while the rest are being kept by the Ashura-kai. Worse off, another NPC on the Tokyo map adds that Akihabara has literally been blown away by the Ashura-kai. All just to keep phones and other coveted electronics out of people's hands.

It's commented throughout IV that the general public -- those who aren't Hunters or in the Ring of Gaea -- are entirely dependent on the Ashura-kai's protection. The distribution of Reds is one way they keep the people safe and, more importantly, loyal to them; the consolidation of who gets to be a devil summoner is another way.

Basically, without any means of protecting themselves from the demons outside, the people living in the districts have no other choice but to turn to the Ashura-kai or the occasional Hunter. And it's through this consolidation of smartphones, among many other things, that the Ashura-kai are able to maintain and wield their influence over the masses.

And I think them blasting Akihabara also says a lot about the Ashura-kai living in luxury and excess. Rather than raid the city for anything valuable or worth salvaging, they'd rather just blow it up without a second thought.

So how people get smartphones then is either down to pure luck (such as in Nanashi's and Asahi's case, which was why finding phones was such a big deal to them) or by joining up with the Ashura-kai. I suppose stealing from them is another option too (haven't found any NPCs confessing to that though).

Side note, I find it funny that even though there's this big scarcity of smartphones, there's still this Clearly Not Apple Store in Ginza that has untouched phones and laptops on display in working condition. Ginza is under the Ring of Gaea's guardianship, but it's still surprising no one has raided the store yet.

Unless the "Appolo" products are too trashy to be worth using. :p

Ship ask: favorite canon moment of kurofai

Tough question since there are alot of top tier kurofai moments. But this particular scene stands out

Yes, the whole sequence.

Because as countless people said before - tsubasa found family journey is sort of allegory for therapy. Crowd of deeply troubled individuals all with their fair share of issues and traumas got paired up together and started bonding over time - and helping each other in process.

However there were countless ups and downs, and that's what relationship between Kurogane and Fai was always like prior to this moment. They couldn't interact truly openly because barrier was always present. Both Fai's (past, false identity, planned betrayal, deep self hatred, avoidance, emotional distance and so on) and Kurogane's (viewing physical strength as priority, subsequently emotionalism and escapism as weakness, and probably some more)

All the unspoken and Kurogane's progress of getting to reach through Fai's iron self-protection walls reached culmination in acid Tokyo - however Fai was still not ready to accept how close he got to Kurogane (and rest of the crew). Emotional tension between them from infamous Good morning Kurogane scene to Celes arc was off charts. With good reason tho, because they were almost like on checkmate position when neither can move forward nor backwards. Kurogane can't do a thing because Fai is one holding the card but similarly Fai belives he truly has no power over his fate because once Ashura awakens it'll all start crumbling. He believes he's living on borrowed time and that he did something he shouldn't have - gotten to close

He thinks he doesn't deserve to be cared for.

And then Celes angst rolls and Kurogane sacrifices what was considered most important to him (strength and power to protect) so Fai could live.

Ofc that was one of major factors (combined with somewhat karmic pain of having someone you love be self sacrificial and you having no say in it and no way to help them - bet feeling was a bit sobering), but that's not all- for the first time in his life Fai knew he wasn't living a life worth expiration date. He was free

Also Kurogane has come full circle, both literally returning to birth place and changing perspective 180° degrees. When he left nihon he was power hungry basically, speaking power out of fear of powerlessness to prevent tragedies. But now he purposely cut own arm so he could protect those he cared about. I probs should add more here but it's rly late

And ofc - Fai hitting Kurogane as payback and calling him by nicknames again 🥺🙏 little gesture that means alot when their whole background is taken into consideration. They're finally able to meet face to face and have a honest healing relationship without any hints of pretense or tension

Like why people ship them (if you know) and all that because, personally, I find all three disgusting, especially KawaHima.

(I know this'll be more of bsu and anti-bsa, but it's an important essential of the story)

ok, so I, personally, ship msu and ksu because I find them fun and more of crack ships then actual canon ships. I see why ppl like them, but they are more of crack ships. the only one that's actually sailing is ksu, but that's basically dead since timeskip.

but before I get into those ships, let's begin with the incest KawaHima.

kh is basically bsa, an incest ship. except the only difference is kh doesn't have same blood (bsa is incest because of their dads are reincarnations of Ashura and Indra and their clans are close, almost to the point of bsa being literally cousins). but kh are ADOPTIVE siblings, either way, they're related, not by blood tho.

I don't understand why ppl like it considering they're literally siblings. it's basically like shipping Boruto and Himawari. and not to mention their age difference.

ok, so now msu & ksu! first we'll start with msu because that won't take as long as the ksu rant:

so the first actual reason ppl started shipping them (actual fans) is the anime when Nue arc took place. that's what got me hooked on them.

but bsa fans only ship them to get Sumire and Mitsuki away from Boruto and Sarada because Mitsuki has only shown to be romantic around Sarada and Boruto (he might be gay for Boruto, but if he's straight, he's only ever shown interest in Sarada). and Sumire, well, need I say more? she is the ONLY character to have confirmed feelings for another character, hence why they want them both out of the way, because, other than Kawaki, they're the biggest threats to their ship. and they say Mitsuki is the captain of their ship, yet they're suddenly gonna want to throw him away the second he has any romantic relationship with either. and he actually never called them a "good couple" in the manga a.k.a canon and only in the Academy in the anime. after graduating and being on the same team, NOT ONCE has he said they make a good couple because he KNOWS they don't. hell, he asked Sarada ONCE about her feelings in anime and in manga, but he just wanted to know, not that he thinks they will make a good couple, but he was curious, not shipping them.

and with Kawaki, they ship Sumire with him just so they'll both be out of the way of their ship. yet Eida has feelings for Kawaki so she'll most likely get him and Sumire has feelings for Boruto so she'll most likely get him. Sarada's only option is Mitsuki, but yes, Kawaki is a victim of the disgusting bsa fandom because neither parties (Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Kawaki) have confirmed their feelings for each other.

and they know how cringy their supposed ship is, which is why they try and say Sumire's love is just a crush and Sarada has confirmed her feelings over blushing and she's a tsundere. they even say Sumire only lied to Sarada so she could recognize her feelings, yet that backfired because after that, the only romantic scene they got was Sarada hugging Boruto in timeskip, like, 66 chapters after Sumire supposedly "manipulated Sarada in realizing her feelings for Boruto".

ok, so I gave a basic rundown, but I'll get into detail about it, starting with Sumire's confession:

ok, so here, antis claim that Sumire only manipulated Sarada into realizing her feelings for Boruto (which didn't happen considering the only romantic thing they have in the ENTIRE manga is the hug at the end of TBV chapter 5, the rest of their moments in the manga were cons to the ship). Sumire was GENUINE about HER feelings, not helping Sarada realize hers.

(btw, for bsa to actually happen, Sarada's personality has to take a big 180 for the ship to actually be considered romantic)

because this comes back up AGAIN:

this is when they KNOW she has DEFINITE feelings for him - REAL feelings. not an act, not a manipulation tactic, REAL FEELINGS, TRUE LOVE.

even Katasuke says "though it's so very obivious". meaning her feelings are true and real.

and say she DID manipulate Sarada to realize her feelings (hell will have to freeze over before it's confirmed that she did), her look wasn't jealous, but more of shock because it came out of nowhere, and she looked concern as Team 7 left and she was looking back at Sumire, probably like "oh no, this idiot is gonna get her heartbroken!". she was worried FOR Sumire, not worried ABOUT Sumire. she didn't think of Sumire as a rival, she thought of her as a close friend (she was her first friend and only friend until Chocho showed up) and she was worried that Boruto (being the dense kid he is) will hurt her.

say, just say, that she lied to Sumire about not having feelings for Boruto (as some antis claim), she'll be an even worse friend than Sakura was to Ino when their friendship ended. at least only one was serious about Sasuke (Sakura), Ino only went after him just to piss Sakura off. whereas Sumire's feelings are real and if Sarada has real feelings, all her moments after chapter 19 will be to piss of Sumire, because remember, she NEVER mentioned Sumire's name when she told Sasuke about Omnipotence, and she hugged Boruto IN FRONT of Sumire. that'll just make her look WORSE than she already does.

but Sarada couldn't care less about romantic feelings, let alone for Boruto. as she confirmed with Eida and Mitsuki.

so they need Sumire to be like Ino and move on with a guy like Sai (Mitsuki), hell, even Kawaki!

the only problem is:

"(koi) = Love between lovers(romantic)"

THAT is the kanji written on Sumire's databook and the cover she first appears in. they're both about SUMIRE, not Sarada as ppl claim. because why would it show up in the same cover Sumire does, huh? suspicious. but her databook cover comfirms her feelings are real.

but now they know that her feelings won't go away so they need Mitsuki and Kawaki to come and take her away so any of them won't be in the way.

msu has had NO interactions in the manga, had the Academy & Nue arcs and the one seen in the Kawaki arc where Mitsuki catches her when she falls over after Kawaki kicks her (all in the anime), well, if you exclude all the random classmate talking during other arcs. but overall, those have the romantic scenes and even then, the only romantic scene is that one seen in the Kawaki arc that isn't even that romantic.

ksu however, in the manga, only has Sumire being Kawaki's caretaker and the anime added a few "romantic" ksu moments, then realized, "wait, this isn't what's happening in the manga", and suddenly, it's like they never happened and ksu never even met.

ppl think that Sumire being Kawaki's caretaker will make her fall in love with him, yet HE asked about HER feelings for BORUTO, not him, BORUTO, his brother. both Mitsuki and Kawaki haven't shown any romantic feelings in ANYONE, including Sarada and Boruto. but at least with Boruto and Sumire, there's a spark there (Boruto being a little too much overprotective of her).

Sarada, however, currently, hopping to and from Mitsuki and Kawaki, so it's kinda hard to tell who'd she'll end up with but it'll probably be Mitsuki because Kawaki ruined Boruto's life. with Boruto, there's just that "he's my teammate, gotta keep him save", "my master told me to protect her so I have to."

say msu or ksu do get a lot of attention, you really think Sumire could look at them like she looks at Boruto. Boruto, himself, debunked that she may be a good actress, yet she can't hide her feelings. she can barely hide her feelings from Boruto in front of anyone. I'm honestly surprised Sarada didn't see the confession coming when Sumire started talking about if Boruto was popular with the girls back in Konoha.

but ppl start creating crazy theories that they'll end up together and that Kishi planned it.

but yes, I'm gonna rap this up:

basically, ppl (some) ship them because they're cute, most ship them to get all three out of the way.

What is your favorite yokai(Both from Yo-kai Watch and real mythology) ?

YIPPEE TIME TO RANT

My favorite yokai from YKW are Unfairy, Wobblewok, and Arachnia, and they all have one thing in common: gremlin behavior

unfairy is a stupid little rat thing that took down two war generals and then got defeated by a hose. wobblewok is a fucking Thang sealed inside a giant kamameshi rice cooker who lurks the deepest pits of hell and has killed hundreds. and arachnia is arachnia

as for my favorite MYTHOLOGICAL yokai, it'd probably be any of the creechers originating from buddhist lore. tbh that hardly narrows it down but I'm specifically talking about dragons/any of the 8 legions, since a majority of my OCs revolve around those yokai in particular and I think theyre really cool aaaaaaaaa.

the 8 legions (hachibushuu) are a group of 8 different celestial species that reside in the Buddhist version of heaven (<- using that term VERYYYYY loosely, also technically one of the legions don't live in Tendo, they got kicked out, it was a whole thing). They're super cool and powerful and they serve Buddhas/Bodhisattvas and whateva.

The 8 legions are made up of the Ten/Devas (buddhist equivalent of angels but not really), the Ryu/Nagas (dragons), the Karura/Garuda (bird people that eat dragons), the Magorakas (half-snake people), the Kinnara (half-bird musicians), the Yasha (heavenly warrior demon guys), the Kendatsuba (artistic spirits that eat scents), and the Ashura (scary demigod guys that are angry and violent and aren't allowed in Tendo anymore boohoo).

The 8 legions are actually Hindu in origin, but then the Buddha told them all to join his cool kids club (buddhism) and then they did

I could talk at length abt each of these guys but then this would be like 500 paragraphs longer than it already is. so I wont but I WILL do so if prompted

If we're talking about yokai that are SPECIFICALLY japanese in origin, there's a lot of ones that are extremely silly that I love a lot so I'll list them off rapid fire

-ghost that tells you to kill yourself (itsuki)

-rat that fucking explodes (kodama nezuki)

-water behemoth (umi bozu)

-eyeball ass jumpscare (shirime)

-literally any of the women (all the yokai ending in "onna")

-big spider (tsuchigumo)

-tamamo no mae (tamamo no mae)

-any of the several ridiculous prophet yokai that appear once and tell you your crops are gonna die unless you like their image and share it with the rest of the village. it was like the origin of those superstitious chain emails (this includes yokai like Amabiko, Arie, Kudan, Jinja Hime, etc etc, but my personal favorite is Amabie, SIMPLY because it originated from a misspelling)

-any chimera yokai (kotobuki, nue, baku, rokugyo, etc. I just think theyre neat)

but my FAVORITE yokai of ALL TIME

IS THIS THING. NANJAKA.

ITS NAME LITERALLY MEANS "WHAT"

IT ORIGINATES FROM THE BAKEMONO TSUKUSHI EMAKI (1820) AND IT HAS NO DESCRIPTION. NO STORY. NO EXPLANATION. NOTHING. IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE AN UPPER HALF. THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO EVEN GUESS WHAT THE ARTIST WAS THINKING WHEN MAKING THIS GUY. I DON'T EVEN THINK THE AUTHOR THEMSELVES KNEW WHAT THE FUCK THEY WERE DOING BECAUSE ITS NAME IS JUST "WHAT." ITS LIKE THE AUTHOR WOKE UP AFTER BEING BLACKOUT DRUNK, SAW THIS DRAWING, AND WAS LIKE "ok what the fuck is this"

narusasu didn't constantly deny being brothers tho, for sasuke it was only once towards sai but then at the end of vote2 he said "now i finally understand what you meant when you wondered if this is what it's like to have a brother" and then for naruto he said they're not real brothers to the sage of the six paths but afterwards he said "this battle between brothers is gonna end here" and when he said "i'm not ashura and sasuke isn't indra either" he meant that they won't go down the same paths as them, he didn't mean they're not brothers.

Lol the moment I open my askbox the anti-sns peeps fly in, with the same repetitive arguments I've talked about more than once.

Sasuke knew what having a brother was like. That's just common sense. He actually lived and experienced having a brother. That's like someone told me I should go through an emotional journey to learn what having a sibling is like despite the fact I have a sibling I care about. Naruto didn't have a brother, so he had no frame of reference, and just suggested MAYBE the feeling is like having a brother. This is also a common trope in gay media. He told Hagoromo "we aren't siblings, but we are great friends". As for Sasuke, he meant he understood the feeling that Naruto was speaking back then, despite it wasn't what Naruto thought back then. Just like I said, he knew what having a brother was like, he didn't need to be "taught" to understand it.

"and when he said "i'm not ashura and sasuke isn't indra either" he meant that they won't go down the same paths as them, he didn't mean they're not brothers" nice headcanon, despite the fact he literally said they are not brothers, to Hagoromo, Kishimoto wrote that. For a reason.

And yes, the sibling rivalry/hate between Indra and Ashura, which wasn't between Naruto and Sasuke, who never hated each other. 💀 They were gonna end something the brothers couldn't do. Because their love for each other was so intense and passionate. Do you even understand how much you twist the story just to make your brothers nonsense work? If you understood how writing works, you'd realize Kishi over and over made Naruto say what he said to stress how they aren't brothers. Oh and Naruto felt sexually aroused towards Sasuke (their hospital fight) and also commented on his attractiveness more than once. Very interesting view Kishimoto has on brothers.

So they call sns brothers.... kishimato by doing Naruto and sasuke as ashura and indra's chakra inheritance gives the excuse to them and they use it and call sns, which i bet deep down in their heart they know Naruto and sasuke are lovers but they don't want to accept it!

And for me, I didn't have any problems with them shipping any of the ships in the above, i just enjoyed stanning sakura but recently their h homophobia things and calling sns brothers literally made me hate her.....💔 I was the fan who accept she's wrong and I never hype her that much....but tbh I like sns more than her so better stanning my boys till her. Also, I read somewhere a hc/theory about one of Obito's parents being a Senju (or some descendant), what's your opinion about it?

Obito's father has what's known as a "fade" hairstyle.

Also, I don't agree with such a theory. I've never seen it, but I don't agree with it.

Why would they be Senju descendants? Why would they have anything to do with the Senju? Just why?

Their son (Obito) literally inherited the Uchiha's "Curse of Hatred" - an exclusive trait passed down from Indra. (Ashura's descendants are the Senju).

Obito is purely from the Uchiha Clan, his parents are Uchiha, and their ancestors are Uchiha. Madara is literally Obito's ancestor.

I'd like to think that the Uchiha are inbred to a certain extent (Izumi is an exception), because they're such a reserved clan and usually clans would marry from each other in order to maintain the bloodline limit - take a look at the Hyuuga clan as an example.

They would only marry from other clans for political benefits (like Senju x Uzumaki), but we never heard of a Senju and Uchiha getting married - I doubt that they would either given how tense their relations are and Tobirama made it very clear that they could never be trusted.

However, no one has to be a part of the Senju clan to inherit kind and benevolent traits, lol. Take a look at Shisui, Kagami, and even Itachi - they didn't fall under the Curse of Hatred that Madara and Obito ended up falling into.

That's not to say that clans cannot marry from others, but it's just very common for members to be pureblood rather than half.

um, *pokes head in* to be completely honest I had completely dropped out of the Naruto fandom, but then I saw your post and like flashbacks.

Seriously tho, is it weird to say I love you for writing this fic, because I think I do, it's so fantastic and amazing and the fact that you didn't just drop it after so long is so sweet and impressive and I just honestly have no words.

Holy crap this fic is amazing!

Honestly in hindsight I kinda feel bad for dumping a mini essay on you for a prompt, but my goodness you did an absolutely phenomenal job with it, literally better than anything I could've dreamed of.

I love how much world building and so many details you managed to incorporate, from the actual explanations to subtle details like the way Hashirama speaks to Madara and the acknowledge it's just all so incredible!

Also love the way you incorporated the beginnings of their crush relationship with each other with the way Hashirama's POV describes Madara's appearance!

I just there's so many lil details that I just love and honestly could ramble on about forever, but I feel like that might make this too repetitive so imma leave a list of some of my fave things about this fic!

Hashirama's slow and reverent monologue about the elegance and power of fairies, only for Madara to punch a box.

The first time Hashirama saw Madara's face was a smile

The contract being a stone that you need to chisel (reminds me of the Uchiha stone tablet)

the non human-ness to fairies (god I love it when they're humanoid but not human, even when in human form, just the fact they're slightly off in a way that you can't quite pinpoint, gods I live for that)

The fact that's it's implied that they dragged Ashura to the fairy realm to kill him, that it took some kind of sacrifice on their end for either a fairy to take a human into the fey realm or to break the contract. Just the fact that its shrouded in mystery, despite having details on it.

why would Ashura destroy the info on fairies, even before his death, as if he knew something about fairies that he didn't want other's to know and deliberately sabotaged the chances for his descendants to contract with fairies.

The fairy world politics and how all fairies, not just Uchiha learned from this incident.

The way Madara's super cool fight scene ends with him yelling at a tree

Just like Madara's whole vibe. He's just like this set of contradictions. Prideful yet honest, ruthless but sympathetic, inexperienced but powerful and like the subtle mystery of why he was held back by his family despite being so powerful.

and of course the star of the show Hashirama. I love the fact that you did an adult take on the character, since so many Hashimada have their first meeting as children. The fact that they're both adults with experience and burdens make their relationship so much more meaningful since it's less of children having fun, but rather adults knowing the risks of their relationships but doing it anyways. He's older and more jaded but still has hope for the world. Not in a blindly optimistic way, he'll do what it takes to achieve his goal, but he doesn't relish the bloodshed.

I mean I just happy wiggles, I just don't know what too say it's just so incredible and amazing and I love it so much!

You don't know how I'm not getting it? How I'm not getting what? How many times do I need to say that I've always acknowledged the fact that they are indeed best friends first and foremost? Why are you accusing me of not getting something, as if you've actually refuted anything that I've said thus far? And then you go and say how "Naruto and Sasuke are not brothers and that’s canon", as if I or anyone else for that matter, has ever said that they are actual brothers? I mean seriously, what the hell are you talking about?

Firstly, their brotherly bond has never been explicitly denied. All Naruto said, was that they weren't actual brothers, they were not Ashura and Indra, because they were their own people. That obviously does not equate to him denying the fact that they had a sibling-like relationship. Just as Hashirama and Madara did before them, because that was the friggin story.

Let me explicitly demonstrate it to you.

Naruto told Sasuke during Pt.1, that being with him is how he imagined it would be like to have a brother:

He later told Itachi, that despite the fact that they weren't blood related, he viewed Sasuke as more of a brother to him than Itachi was to Sasuke:

He told Hagoromo, that while he and Sasuke may not be true brothers, they were still the best of friends:

That obviously doesn't mean that Naruto was denying their sibling-like relationship, he was just highlighting the very obvious fact that he and Sasuke were not literally brothers.

Lastly, prior to their final fight, Naruto proclaimed that all sibling squabbling was going to end then and there:

Thereby once again acknowledging the sibling-like nature of their relationship, in part due to the continued feud between Ashura and Indra that had taken place throughout the generations, and who they were reincarnated from. So tell me where their brotherly bond was apparently explicitly denied in the manga?

If you wanna keep talking after this, then you'd better do so with your account, and let's see if you have the spine to say this nonsense publicly. I'm no longer gonna waste my time on an anonymous person who somehow got the idea that I'm denying Naruto and Sasuke's friendship bond, while believing they're actual brothers.

just realized i haven't posted any of my art in ages so yeh, have some stuff i made since my last Spec drawing and also, the drawings are all out of order but if u want to know when i made each of them i wrote the date in the drawing, but the system i use is different from the usual american one so ita day/month/year

also yay! just got into the Kengan Ashura fandom, but that drawing og Ohma is the first one i made so it's pretty bad, the next ones i made look better tho, but i already got too many drawings in here so i'll make a separate post for them

Tbf not owning a shirt is least of all issues. He's main villain of series, more or less. Want to see depths of his bastardeties?

One of his commanders had a sister with beautiful singing voice. Unfortunately girl could only live and sing in unpolluted (?) areas like her own castle. Taishakuten's place wasn't one of those. Still, one day he commanded for her to be brought to his place and he demanded of her to sing (it was some celebration, I think). Girl struggled obeying his senseless request and forced herself to sing. It lasted few pages only before she died bc of her condition. Her sister went livid and some things happened. In next volume she tried to retrieve the body at least. To which Taishakuten reacted:

Tho if we have this much of a bastard man in Clamp manga and he's not Clow or his evil clone then dude must be gay. And gay he is! He took phrase "I want you inside me" literally. Both in sexy and unsexy way. If you know you know. Also kudos to Clamp for not going for chasity couple for once and making them bang (off scene ofc :<). Beside Ashura and Taishakuten and Kakei/Saiga (Hisui/Kokuyo, but as far as I remember Hisui is genderless?), they're only mlm couple that went past homoerotic pinning phrase so ❤

CLAMP even showed him and Ashura in Shoten where they're teachers and in love <3 unfortunately nothing of that fluffy sort happens in RG veda, series is like Shakespearean tragedy more or less. Characters doing twisted things in name of love and fate. I highly recommend.

Also y'all know about CLAMP's eye loss trope. Well.... he avoided that by gaining another eye:

uchiha sasuke. he's such a well written character.

he was born in one of the most prestigeous, if not the most, clan of konoha, the uchiha clan. he grew up in a lovely and affectionate family, having a brother that's proud of him, a mom that loves him, and a father that recognizes his talent and loved him as deeply as his mother, although he didn't showed it. one night, he came back to his house only to find his whole clan and his parents massacred, lying in a veritable bloodbath. and the murderer was no one else than the one he thought was truly loving with him, uchiha itachi. his brother. his inspiration. his model. itachi put him in a genjutsu where sasuke revived more than 500 000 times, triggering the buried feelings that the curse of his clan force him to feel. from then, he only created one bond with the one that was respectful enough to make sasuke smile : the nine tails demon receptacle and the failure of the village, uzumaki naruto.

at age 12, he literally sacrified himself to prevent naruto's death. but, thankfully, sasuke was alive.

during the chunin exams, some curse mark was put inside of him by no one else than one of the 3 legendary sannin, the one who acquired immortality and had an interest to the uchiha clan : orochimaru. since then, sasuke's one and only goal was to gain power to avenge his clan's honor and to kill his brother that he hated so much. he proceed to desert and betray his village. in a fight against naruto, he wanted to kill him to pulverize the only thing that was holding back, his friendship with naruto. but he couldn't resolve himself to kill his best friend, the only one that was silently here for him during these years.

2 years later, a certain uchiha madara told him the truth about his brother that he fought in a fight to the death. sasuke, not believing it at first, deduced later that all of this is konoha's fault, with the intention of destroying the village. with the help of madara, he then went straight to konoha to kill the temporary-named 6th hokage, shimaru danzo. he then saw his friends and his previous sensei that he fought. he attempted to kill her fellow, sakura, before she was saved by naruto, and naruto had a talk with him that he will save him from his hatred because he's his friend, which surprised sasuke. back some days before, he had a flashback of how his life would be different if he stayed at konoha alongside his best friend, which made him sad.

he was able to see his brother one more time, when he ressurected. itachi confirmed him that madara's story was true, and that he did all that for the village. he saw his brother dying by his eyes for the 2nd time.

on his final fight against naruto, both of them losed an arm. the most plausible theory on why he stayed with a destroyed arm is to show to the world, and to himself, how naruto did rescued him from this hatred and painful life. they're also platonic canonical soulmates, as naruto is the embodiment of the sun by being ashura's reincarnation, and sasuke is the embodiment of the moon by being indra's reincarnation.

overall, i'd say sasuke is the best naruto written character. he reflected how we would've react to the death of our family and feeling soooo helpless about him. i identify to him so much. he's my highest kin. i love this man. i will defend him and his actions even in my coffin.

One Piece: Chapter 1052 review

SO, ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1052 JUST HAPPENED. AND I AM LOST OF WORDS.

I'm trying out a new review format, so bare with me here. You won't be seeing me cry over Izo at the start of the review :)

Gorosei

Alright, so with every 10/10 chapter comes a scene from Mary Geoise, and of course that one CP0 agent reported to the Elder Stars exactly after. I'm just surprised that they haven't given up on Robin, they really ARE old men.

Hawkins & Drake's confrontation

Now, you don't know how scared I was when I first read this page, because this reminds me too much of Keith and Magath's death over in the neighboring manga. ONE OF THEM'S GONNA DIE, and I was afraid that it would be Drake, because the anime kinda DID say Hawkins' prophecy was targeted on him. But apparently, Oda said "fuck the anime" and revealed that the man that had only a 1% chance to survive the raid was Hawkins himself 🤯. Oda, you better stop playing with my emotions.

Is Hawkins dead, is he not? Idk.

Joyboy

So, apparently it's confirmed that Luffy's Joyboy. And all I gotta say is, Sir where did you get that info from?

Izo & Ashura's memoir

Well, won't you look at that, the Vassals and Marco are gonna build a second shrine next to Ryuma to honor Oden & co. And won't you look at that again, IZO AND ASHURA ARE FUCKING DEAD. Eyyyyy, the boys are back and they're the same as always even though one of them literally faced the grim reaper.

And after that, we get a sweet page of them having a feast, and then we got a couple of hilarious panels with the Straw Hats discovering that the 8 yo Momo is no more. Something I gotta say, why does the new Momo look so much like Franky (NOT the cyborg) 😭

IS IT JUST ME 😭I swear they looked so similar in my head.

ANDD there's still loads to cover, and I can't add more pictures, so I'll just continue on another post :)

One Piece Chapter 1052 - Initial Thoughts

Okay then

What was first meant to be just the wrapping up of Wano has now turned into the wrapping up of the penultimate saga of One Piece, and the last few chapters before the Month Hiatus

There's still the possibility that Oda leaves us on a cliffhanger though, so let's see what these last chapters have to offer

Spoilers for the Chapter, Support the Official Release

Gastino how come you didn't leave Whole Cake!? You can Fly!

We start the chapter with the reaction of the Gorosei

I'm still unsure what they mean by 'fallen', I don't expect BM or Kaido to be dead but at the same time the longer it's left the more it feels like they are

Zunesha has left too, confirming to them that Wano's borders won't open, meaning that they can't invade (though I wonder about the waterfall's stability still)

They still want Robin though, I don't think mask face has the heart to tell them

Someone hacking into CP0's signal?

Back in Onigashima and Drake and Hawkins are alive!

See? Hawkins may be a bit of a bastard, but who isn't in the Worst Generation? In the end he was never gonna go back to Kaido

Anime have done an error it seems, the 1% man was Hawkins himself!

I hope he didn't just die then, part of me feels like he came to Drake because he wants a way out, even if it is with the marines

A week passes and Wano is being reestablished; education is being reformed, kids are getting water, and a new festival is coming

People think Luffy - who they refer to as Joy Boy - left though

If they think Luffy's heroism rivals Ryuma then god what was Ryuma doing beyond the Monsters manga!?

In Ringo, Kin, Marco and Kawamatsu are discussing making another shrine to bury the fallen

Izou sadly confirmed dead, man went out protecting his family though so you gotta respect that, they're gonna be laid to rest with Yasuie, the other Daimyo, Oden and Ashura

In the palace Yamato waits, and Hiyori reveals that Luffy and Zoro have awakened

Plus we finally have that dropkick

Yep, they're back to normal...BUT TELL US ABOUT THE REAPER ZORO!!!

Momo's festival was on hold until Luffy and Zoro woke up, gotta get hammered back into a coma after all

Luffy and Zoro of course don't recognize adult Momo XD

Alas Momo, you've lost your chance to nestle in Nami and Robin's bosom, now you get smacked off - not that Brook and Sanji aren't taking any pleasure out of that...

Yamato please keep putting plates on his head

Now that Luffy and Zoro is awake, Yamato can apparently eat, since they made a vigil to not eat or bathe till they woke

Hiyori reveals she wiped the two boys clean though, not that Zoro pays any attention, Sanji will pay attention (and rage in jealousy) for the both of them

Zoro though remembers his promise to Sanji, and decides to take liberties with it by attacking him

The Onsen scene was perhaps not for me, I get it's a win for Yamato to be in the men's bath and Kiku to be in the women's bath but also if Brook and Sanji are perving at Yamato during all this it's kinda missing the point

Oh to be young and be allowed to get away with getting to second base due to 'innocence'

Carrot please you're 15, sit down!

In Tokage Port, Usopp and Franky have done the work and helped fix up the ships and Franky Shogun

I keep forgetting that Kid's ship looks awesome

Stubborn and grumpy Kid and Law though, don't want to be giving the straw hats credit because now the alliance will be coming to an end

FUCK OFF APOO, Ibi you can stay

Okay leave the new bounties on the floor and then FUCK OFF APOO

Bounties AND Names? Oh I've been waiting for new titles, and new Emperors? I'd guess maybe Kid'll get shafted because his alliance failed and Law and Luffy's didn't

For joking sake I'd love to see Tama just have her face plastered over Kaido's bounty, 'Queen of Beasts' Tama

Admiral Green bull sir, I'm gonna have to kindly ask you not to disrupt this festival and try and kidnap Robin, peas and tankards? Akainu is telling you to not do anything unnecessary and attacking a nation not bound by the WG's jurisdiction with two freshly new Yonko would fit that bill, plus you're chill with Fujitora who's pro-Luffy, be chill man, be chill

Also you are kinda triggering my Baron Omatsuri trauma with the flower growing out of you...

Oda had to do it didn't he? He's setting up shit to hit the fan right before a hiatus

It was a fine chapter, one designed to lure you into a false sense of security. But I do worry that a lot of things are gonna be left unanswered

It's been a full week now in Wano so I kinda expect that if BM and Kaido were dead that their subordinates would be in full panic, BM's crew is a big question mark after all in this saga.

We have no clue about Kaido's Poneglyph either, or Wano's use of Sea Prism Stone in general, or really any of the early stuff with Hitetsu and the Nidai Kitetsu. While we're on swords as well we may not see Zoro pay his respects to Ryuma or have any genetics towards Wano as it was theorised and even hinted by Oda to have, and we do need to know about his excursion to hell too.

Between all of this, Luffy and co having a rager, the Admiral, leaving Wano (with Robin still with them hopefully) and finding out about what happened in the outside, I fear Oda won't be able to cover all of that.

This being said, the chapter itself had a lot of fun parts, I'm still not sold on the onsen scene nor am I 100% sold that Yamato is Nakama until Luffy says so (he still calls him Yama-o), I will also continue to hold on hope for Carrot since she was in the background for this chapter and Zunesha has already left, but then again the minks did have ships too so it's still very much a clutch at straws. As I noted before, I hope Hawkins survives, and even sticks with Drake, SWORD could use his talents too after all. And I expect Kid to feel slighted by the new bounty figures, perhaps enough to even attempt full villainy. I worry about Law though, the end of the saga means the end of his and Luffy's alliance, what will the Surgeon of Death do now?

I can see the Admiral's presence going one of two ways; either he causes a scene or he simply chills at the party. It's also quite possible that he's not the one who contacted CP0, since the navy only learned of CP0's presence in Wano through Drake, I half expect another force to be coming: SSG, Sentomaru or Lucci perhaps? It was theorised by many that Green Bull had a plant DF so that seems confirmed, I wonder if that may fall into Usopp's wheelhouse with his Pop Greens or to his detriment? But I do hope he's just pretty chill and ends up joining in on the food, while also dropping the bomb about what happened at the Reverie, but it's tough to tell.

One more chapter until the long wait.

poor little meow meow King Ashura of Celes 🙈 I kind of like the parallel with RG Veda, how he ends up destroying the world just because he selfishly wants to save the one person he cannot save, and the fact that said person is his child in RG Veda says a lot about what Clamp intended his side of the relationship with Fai to mean. Also I enjoy the irony that he can actually see the future in Tsubasa while being at his core someone who stubbornly doesn't believe in Fate™. Fun "has seen God but identifies as atheist" vibes
