Okay and also I cannot HANDLE the coparenting situation that Laszlo and Guillermo have going on.

It’s funny, because Laszlo will very easily forget that Guillermo even exists if he’s not around long enough, but he’s also one of the only ones that will readily acknowledge when Guillermo is correct and capable without being pushed. By the end of the episode, he understands that Guillermo was right about Baby Colin, and he’s willing to acknowledge that out loud in front of others.

Why? For the same reason he acknowledged Guillermo last time. Love. He recognizes when Guillermo is good for the people he loves, and he’s willing to let him do that. He sent Guillermo with Nadja because he loved her and trusted Guillermo to protect her when he could not. He gave in to what Guillermo was saying in this episode because he realized that Guillermo could emotionally support Colin in a way that he could not. (Uncle Memo, my HEART.)

He’s willing to let Guillermo make up for his own deficiencies because he loves both Nadja and Colin too much to let them lack for anything the way he once did. And I love that about him. Laszlo is so damn selfish most of the time, so willing to run away from his own responsibilities, but only when they affect him. When the people he loves are affected? He will humble himself and do things that he despises to keep them safe and whole. ;;

Can I just say that Colin holding Laszlo’s hand just fucking DEVASTATED ME? because it did!!

And then GUILLERMO. Like Laszlo, he wants to give Baby Colin everything he didn’t have in his own life. He wants to give him love and support and new shoes and any toy he wants. He wants to protect him from being bullied for his interests. He wants Colin to feel loved and supported like he never did as a child, like he still doesn’t.

Guillermo is only just beginning to understand that he deserves happiness and love and respect. You start to see that grow in s3 and clearly it continued growing during the break between seasons. He’s still not quite allowing himself to have everything he wants, but he’s much more willing to fight for it. He’s healing by loving and raising Colin, I think. By supporting Colin through his weird little interests and hugging him and protecting him, it’s like he’s giving the younger version of himself the attention that he was always denied, as well. He’s acknowledging that he, too, deserved the things that he’s giving to Colin. Through loving Colin, he’s beginning to love himself.

I love that both of them are acknowledging the lack of stability they had as children and how badly that affected their ability to accept love as adults. That brief line about how Nadja took hundreds of years to make Laszlo unlearn what he’d been taught as a child… Guillermo’s going through all that now… And now both of them are learning to give love, too, and I love that for them.

(And yes, I do think there’s some sublimated stuff about Nandor in how Guillermo is caring for Colin, too, though obviously that’s a very different kind of love. lmao.)

So yes, Colin is obviously draining them both by being an obnoxious child, but they’re both going into it joyfully. And isn’t that kind of what love’s about? Willingly giving up a part of yourself to someone else and letting yourself grow and fill in that empty space with something new and precious? UGH.

Matt should have expected the popcorn to go flying, but a kernel hitting him in the eye is a surprise.

"Warn me next time!" Adam says with a bit of a weird laugh. "Fuck."

Matt pouts, pulling his mouth off of Adam's dick. "You got popcorn in my hair."

"Popcorn in your - you got your mouth on my dick!"

Matt shrugs. "Is that a problem?"

"Like, never," Adam says, "but let me know when I've got a bowl of popcorn." He looks around, frowning. "It's all over the couch now. It'll take forever to clean up."

Matt thinks for a second, then starts daintily brushing the popcorn off of Adam's lap, sure to bump his dick at every opportunity.

"This is uncool," Adam says with a bit of a pout, which Matt thinks is hilarious. "You can't give me a surprise blowjob, ruin my snack, then, like, popcorn tease me."

"Why not?"

"I - because!" He throws his hands in the air and the popcorn goes even more all over the place. Matt's enjoying this a little too much, he thinks. Usually he's the one all flustered. ((Slight oc x Canon warning??))

- Chazz and Kore are definitely a sun and moon dynamic. They balance out each other well, despite their rocky start.

- If something glass related smashes/breaks, Kore's instinct is to clean it up. Understandable. Except Kore being the fucking dumbass she is proceeds to pick up the glass with her bare hands just so nobody stands on the glass shards or gets injured. Chazz immediately screams at her to put the glass down, and tells her off for picking it up with bare hands and nearly slicing her fingers. Chazz then proceeds to carefully clean it up himself.

[CUT TO BREAK UP TEXT CAUSE THERE'S TOO MUCH]

- I keep forgetting this but Kore is absolutely heavily lactose intolerant. Chazz is aware of this. He gets pissed at Kore for proceeding to demolish a tub of ice cream, or probably eat an entire block of cheese in macaroni. He probably even has to warn the waiters and be like "do NOT give her anything with dairy", meanwhile Kore proceeds to just DOUBLE the intake of dairy because she just doesn't give a shit and will willingly be in immense pain after.

- Kore used to crush on Chazz in season one. However that only lasted for like a week. Chazz was aware of this but obviously dismissed Kore. In season four, he ofc forgets her crush on him and he does unknowingly begin to crush on Kore. When Kore admits to Chazz she used to crush on him, he soon remembered but then Kore immediately replied "Oh but that only lasted like a week so now I see you as a bestie! <3" and Chazz proceeded to scream into his pillow the entire night once she said that. Pretty much looked like this:

- Kore probably dunked another L on Chazz along with Bastion and Jaden in season one. Probably beaten him in a duel as well because she didn't appreciate how Chazz was insulting and disrespecting Jaden and her friends so...immediately wiped the floor with Chazz. Chazz has learned to not underestimate her in a duel since.

- Once Chazz returns back to Duel Academy after the whole North Academy and School Duel fiasco, Chazz of course begrudgingly was stuck with Kore in most of his classes while Kore was like "hiiii!! :D". But overtime they began bonding and essentially being a little pair of gremlins together aaaannnnddd Kore might have picked up a few comebacks and insults from Chazz even some comments and Chazz is standing on the side like a proud parent like "Yeah I taught her well I'm rubbing off on her". Alexis probably had to step in at some point to make sure Kore doesn't stray from her roots. Absolutely scolds Chazz for teaching Kore some things.

- Kore probably has a spare key to Chazz's dorm. Probably barges into his dorm while he's relaxing in bed and she kicks open the door like "sup fucker >:3". Chazz has yelled at her numerous times but she proceeds to sit her ass on his bed and eat his snacks. Tbh, she at least gets away with murder when it comes to Chazz. Chazz just doesn't like Jaden or anyone else in his dorm. Tbh Chazz probably has a spare key to Kore's dorm and probably does the same. He probably hangs in her dorm room more often though because her bed is warm and comfy and he tends to nap in her bed. Much to Kore's annoyance when she was planning on napping. So they both proceed to re-enact that scene in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory of the grandparents sleeping face to face on each end of the bed. So Chazz sleeps at one end and Kore sleeps at the other.

- Both have probably stayed up till 4AM watching old cheesy shitty movies, especially classic goofy slashers such as ThanksKilling, etc. Chazz mainly takes the piss out the movies while Kore finds them hilariously goofy and entertaining, plus loves watching his reaction. Probably have a movie marathon once a week. Jaden had been invited once, along with the entire friend group and they cramped into Kore's dorm room. Chazz was not fond of it. But he will never admit he did have fun though.

- Growing up, Kore was never allowed to get her ears pierced. Kore has always wanted to get her ears pierced, even going as far as to even tell Chazz. What does Chazz do? Well you know- For all Chazz's brothers disowned him I'm sure he still has money to spend (I mean remember that scene where he dueled Adrian while they were being lifted by fucking helicopters???). So he probably booked a place that was well reviewed and proceeded to let Kore get her ears pierced. So now Kore has pierced ears thanks to Chazz.

- Kore is deffo one of them girlies who'll be into certain rock bands/boy bands/girl bands (also probably into K-pop - Probably like Big Bang and Block B juding the time GX is somewhat set) and is probably an expert in idol culture. Kore has probably introduced Chazz to some of the music she's into. Chazz probably is like "that's lame" but proceeds to also introduce her some other music that he's interested in and they probably share playlists they created that they think the other will enjoy. Probably even share songs that make them think of the other. Ngl I see Chazz having a bunch of songs that remind him of Kore. Just he won't admit it.

- Kore probably tries to get whatever gifts she can get Chazz for his birthday due to...literally being broke but she manages to at least get something that she knows he'll use and something that is more thoughtful. Chazz says her gifts are cringe yet Atticus one day stumbled in his dorm room and found birthday gifts he received from Kore. Where he actually uses the gifts and actually keeps them out the way so they don't get damaged.

- Kore has probably tried helping Chazz get with Alexis (except Kore goes about it in a reasonable manner and doesn't try to force Alexis since she knows Alexis is her OWN PERSON), but once Alexis has shown zero interest Kore does back off and understand that no means no. Kore probably has slapped Chazz for being constantly persistent and be like "behave >:(".

- Kore originally sparks up an idea that her and Chazz go into a dueling business together if they do go pro. Chazz thinks it's dumb but he entertains the idea and agrees that once they graduate that they'll go into a pro dueling business together. However, once season four rolls around and they graduate, due to the events of season three Kore decides to take a year off from dueling just to return home. Of course Chazz surprisingly stuck with wanting to go through with the idea, and Kore promises that maybe sometime in the near future once they've reached a mentally stable place, that they just might go into a pro dueling business together.
