#HEAR ME OUT. they’re introduced and newt and being a groupie and behind him hermann is all huffing and rolling his eyes and shaking his #head but he’s Not Angry. no. he jumps to defend newt albeit in a somewhat mocking and sarcastic way BUT THE THOUGHT IS THERE. and then when #hermann is rambling on about numbers being the handwriting of god newt is in the background smiling and laughing and making silly #hand motions and yes the hand motion was a bit mocking BUT THATS THEIR WHOLW THINF. anyways i’m not done. when newt drifts with the kaiju #and pentecost is there talking to him and hermann and newt r yelling back in forth u can hear the unease and shakiness in their voices and #especially the frustration in hermanns. he’s frustrated abt newt risking his life and is worried abt that which translates out in anger. #and yeah maybe he’s salty abt being proven wrong too lmao. They're definitely not as loud as some of the other winx pairings but they're obviously still besties! Here's just like a list of some important aspects of their friendship!!

Very supportive of each other! Obviously this is something that happens with all of them, but in terms of Musa's music specifically, you will always see Flora there hyping her up and giving her feedback. Musa also supports Flora's endeavors a lot!

Similar to the first one, very emotionally supportive of each other. I feel like this is probably one of the biggest things about them in canon! Musa tends to go to Flora a lot when she's having issues with Riven, especially if it has to do with jealousy/insecurities. And on the other side, Musa is literally always there when Flora is having issues with Helia! She's able to calm Flora down really well, in a way that some of the other winx haven't quite gotten the hang of.

At least with how they're shown in canon, they seem to be the kind of friends who just enjoy being around each other. Again, a statement that can be said about any of them, but you know what I mean! They actually have a surprising amount of scenes between them. They're just kind of always hanging out and they're very content with each other :)

They're also often with each other on missions! I'm not sure if there's an exact reason for that, maybe their powers mix really well or something?, but it happens quite a bit!

Honestly, there's not much to it! They're kind of the classic chill best friends who like to hang out and help each other a lot. Musa goes to all of the winx for help but Flora is seen helping her a lot more than say... idk Stella? And Musa tends to standup for Flora a lot when anyone talks shit about her!

i feel like when bob's mom died he was probably like eleven and it was traumatic for him and his dad (like imagine how gene would feel if linda died, and its implied that bob and his mom were close too) but big bob and probably bob too are just not people who express their emotions openly!!! in the flashback episode where bob is fourteen he raises his voice the tiniest bit and then apologizes for getting so excited like he just doesn't express his emotions openly and i relate to that LOL i get the feeling that big bob didn't really like talking or thinking about his wife after she died (i mean we know canonically he left her out of stories that he told to bob and avoided her in conversations) and both him and bob probably processed their grief and trauma surrounding her by going "we just won't think about it or talk about her let's pretend she never existed" and its probably also true that bob learned pretty quickly that if he talks about his mom it will make other people sad and feel bad for him, and he knows that talking about his mom makes his dad sad so he doesn't do it anymore and by fourteen he's pretty good at acting like she never existed (i never lost someone close to me and definitely not that young but i can't imagine moving on from losing your mother who you had a close relationship with in like two or three years at that age??? but he seems like he's doing okay in that episode) that could ask explain why he almost never talks about her or tells stories, and why he didn't visit her grave for literal decades (obviously bcuz he was busy with his family and stuff but i get the feeling that he didn't like thinking about it bcuz it made him feel bad) so that lead to an environment where bob couldn't talk about his mom with his dad, and he couldn't talk about her with anyone else bcuz it made them sad and he didn't really like thinking about her bcuz he got sad whenever he thought about her, but as he told big bob in that one episode he likes talking abt her and yeah it makes him sad but it also makes him happy, because they're remembering and talking about her :) imo it would've been traumatic for bob to lose his mom regardless of how she died bcuz she was young like she would've been in her 30s or 40s and people that age don't typically die of natural causes, she probably either got into a car accident and died suddenly or had cancer/another terminal illness and died in a hospital over a longer period of time (which would make sense bcuz bob hates hospitals i think??) but either way that would be very traumatic for bob as a tiny child to watch his mother die and go to her funeral ALSO it seems like big bob is more willing to talk abt his wife with people who never knew her like the kids vs bob because he didn't want to make bob sad by causing him to think about her, so i think big bob came from a good place of not wanting to upset bob or make him miss her or make him sad by reminding him of her but i dont think avoiding talking about someone is the best way to grieve and cope with their death tbh it was probably just traumatic for both of them

#okay so #for a couple months now ive been thinking about maybe getting an emotional support animal #i have struggled with an anxiety disorder for majority of my life #and for the past maybe six or so years i have specifically had intrusive thoughts #ive ranted about those on here a few times before #theyre really bad for me and have been an ongoing problem #the only thing is that they basically go from 5% of a problem during the day to like 90% of a problem at night #nighttime is a big trigger for them specifically when im going to sleep #and theyve been worse recently and i havent been having a lot of fun!! #i entertained the idea of getting an emotional support animal (specifically a cat) because the comfort of animals generally does help me #whenever i would have bad nights at home i would bring my small dog up with me and he would help tones #i guess i just keep having this battle in my head of like. what if im not 'mentally ill' enough to need one #WHICH IS SO FUCKED UP RIGHT #if i think it would help me i should try especially since this is something ive actively struggled with since i was 12 #is it weird to have imposter syndrome type feelings about ur own mental health issues???? #i genuinly love cats so much and they make me so happy #and hnnnnnnnnn #westy's shit #tw intrusive thoughts #mental health

me when i realize that pretty much everything in my life has actually only gotten worse since i graduated highschool, and all the times i was told things would get better were absolutely false !!!!!!

therefore, his method of comfort usually comes in the form of soothing words and back rubs in his arms

its actually quite nice. he lets you scream into his titties (HE HAS TITTIES AND THEYRE MORE ROCK SOLID THAN REGINA GEORGE'S MOM'S. CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.)

when you're truly scared scared (like heart pounding, sobs racking ur body, you're def gonna get rlly bad nightmares type of scared scared)

he will probs turn it off bc he thinks that no movie ending is worth this much terror

he cares about you a lot, after all. he thinks its slightly amusing when you're screaming your head off at the obviously fake blood, but he would never want you to be fearful for real

rubs your back and whispers soothing words into your ear

"its ok" "i'm right here" "don't worry, i'd protect you if they ever came" type of stuff

after you've calmed down a bit, he'll try to make you laugh

jokes, tickles, anything, really!

tooru is equally as scared of horror movies

honestly, he's as affected by horror movies at the average guy

he doesn't find them as terrifying as oikawa, but he's definitely not as unaffected as iwaizumi

but you'd never know that

why?

he just hides his emotions really, really well

also he just sometimes focuses on the wall behind the tv and drowns out the voices

he just sits through them and bears them, basically

now, why? why in the world would he do this when he doesn't even enjoy it?

to make fun of you, duh. shouldn't that have been obvious?

when you leap 30ft out of your seat into the air, he laughs at you

he'll even add onto your fear by like grazing your opposite shoulder when you aren't looking and pretending he didn't do it

hes a brat

but honestly, he partially enjoys it when you spring onto him at the jump scares, no matter how much he denies it

as we all know, the boys a lil shy about asking for affection

with horror movies, he gets your affection without even asking for it! yay!

but once the movies over, if you're really shaken up, he'll use his giant beanpole arms and spoon you until you fall asleep

but then he'll be an ass about it the following week

pokes, grabs, jabs you and will say,

"huh? it wasn't me. maybe it was the (wtv villain or ghost or spirit or wtv from the movie)!"

2/10. makes fun of you and makes the movie even scarier tbh. the 2 points r only bc of the comfort he gives after its over.

bokuto koutaro

like most things in life, bokuto goes between two extremes, and never crosses into the middle

he's either having super insane cut shots that go BOOM

OR he's doing awful and is in his emo mode

same thing with this

he either isn't affected by it at all and just laughs

or he screams when the character breathes a lil too heavily

now, if he thinks the movie's not scary at all, he's pretty good to watch with if you're super scared

during the scary parts, he lets you cling onto his beefy arm while he just watches the movie in amusement

like there's a really scary scene where there's a huge jumpscare into the most climatic scene in the movie and you're burying your face into his arm but in the background you just hear:

"HAHAHAHAHA! Y/N Y/N! YOU GOTTA SEE THIS! HE'S...HE'S GETTING CHASED BY THIS GREY LITTLE CHILD! HAHAHAHA ITHIHIHIT'S EYES LOOK LIKE TAPIOCAAHAHAAHA"

"oh the grey little child is smiling! it's kinda cute! why is the main character guy sweating? he looks like me right after a long game"

"why'd the grey little child pull a purple thing out of his throat? what's that? i wonder what it tastes like though..i think it would be a thick gummy texture, but maybe a little gooey on the inside. definitely grape-flavored. the really sweet artificial good one. oh.. now i want a gummy!"

yeah

he definitely makes it less scary because he makes all the scary stuff seem really stupid

honestly pretty nice. you might not get as many nightmares because of him
