Theo scoffed. “I'm wondering the same thing. Guess I must've hit my head one too many times, all the concussions finally caught up with me.”

“Stop being a dick, this is not funny.”

“Says the kid without blood in his mouth.” Theo spat on the ground. “You didn't like it, fine, but did you have to punch me? It's a three-hour drive back to Beacon Hills, and my shirt is ruined.”

“Well, what did you expect was gonna happen?”

Theo had no idea. He hadn't planned that far ahead before leaning in and pressing his mouth over Liam's while he was still mid-laugh. Lips on teeth. So romantic.

His hands are sweaty, and the hand resting on his leg has his pulse quickening the more Theo keeps his hand firmly on Liam’s thigh, pulling him further into whatever game that he’s playing.

A game Liam’s itching to play.

He gulps, his throat dry, and the music is blaring from the speaker as they drive through the city, closer to Theo’s house and closer to where the chimera can get his hands on him.

Theo did tip the bartender. He gave him a stack of cash, sliding it into his pocket as he winked at Liam and placed his hand on his shoulder, gently leading him out the door and into the dark night.

Unpopular opinion but I’m glad Thiam isn’t canon, and not because I think they shouldn’t be because I obviously ship it and I’m obsessed. But the best ao3 fanfiction there is in the world will come from ships that aren’t canon. I think it gives the fan base a wider range of what could’ve been. It leaves the end of canon to be open to interpretation and because of that so many amazing stories have been created. I don’t know about y’all but personally, I enjoy the building of the relationship the most (which Theo and Liam need because they both have to accept their feelings and challenge their opinions on one another). I truly believe these two deserve a build up of their relationship that couldn’t have been fully explored in canon (at least in season 6) and I’m happy that this community has been able to come up with better story lines than Jeff Davis is even capable of. Anyways, that’s my rant.
