then i spent an ungodly amount of time trying to make a good ed teach bc obviously we all want to look like that but due to the lack of a good colour match for ed's beard we are staying firmly in me-adjacent territory

mainly i want to chop my hair off and undergo some painless skull morphing procedure to acquire cheekbones and a jawline that could cut glass and become androgynous enough that everyone's first thought about me is 'idk if you're a boy or a girl all i know is that you're fine as hell' hope this helps x

BEFORE AND AFTER COLORING CHALLENGE

Honestly I don't save my colourings either! I usually go for natural tones (unless I have a very specific kind of gifset in mind) - and whenever possible I preserve the scene as it is... except for the colour green. lol. I always find myself using the channel mixer or the selective-color tool to convert it to cyan or blue :D I know I still have a lot to learn when it comes to giffing, but I'm slowly getting there!

Upcoming Writing

1. i mostly put down just the dialogue for the first scene in the blood bank au, but quite enjoyed it! im also looking forward to writing the actual scene that inspired it, where they're like stuck in a car in the snow lol

2. when i finally get to the point where jily reunites in 'let's fall apart' !! my block on that is mostly just the period right before where lilys just being angsty and i want to get past that soon

3. there's a scene in my mind for 'play that warm chord' where lilys painting in the garden in a swimsuit and james is watching her lol it's quite vivid in my mind for no reason

4. this would be my first literati fic so i'm excited to write from new povs! and it'll follow a lot of canon but through a slightly different lens, and i think that'll be fun. also angst!

5. for 'slow like honey' mostly i'm excited to just get drunk on a bunch of red wine one night and write some sensual loving smut lmao

uhhh Fic Friday...?

I was tagged for WIP Wednesday by @lostcol @madsworld15 and @eusuntgratie but I injured my hand pretty badly on Monday so typing has been difficult. But I wanted to try to add a little something to my fic now that I can move my fingers a bit more easily. Notably, this is coming before I do anything to catch up on work.

here's a little from Untitled Drag Queen AU under the cut (and a reminder to tip your local drag artists!) (and a request):

On tall stilettos she drops down into a squat, kicking out first one foot and then the other.  “Yessss!” Emmett screams, waving a handful of dollar bills in the queen’s direction.  Son Shine jumps up from the squat and into a split and a gasp catches in Brian’s throat while the club erupts in cheers behind him.  As the song continues, the queen makes her way from the stage into the crowd, plucking cash from the hands pushing it in her direction, slipping some into her bra straps and handing some to a young person following along behind her with a bucket. 

Y'all figuring out how to describe a duck walk was a time and a half. You know the trope about making the face you're describing or drawing...? Like that except I cannot fucking duck walk. So here's the request - if you're unfamiliar with what a duck walk looks like, can you read that description, try to imagine in, and then DM me so I can send you a video and see if the description feels accurate? Because I also don't want to devote a paragraph of text to describing it. TYSM!
