I hate seeing my triggers pop up cus I feel like I can’t just ask ppl to tag their shitty jokes and the other half of the time it’s something so harmless I feel embarrassed asking for it to be tagged.

#if I see another arson joke today I’m blocking whoever put it on my dash tho I can’t handle that #the harmless part is abt my phobia of stickers/glitter/bandaids #things ppl have attached to a specific aesthetic that’s honestly pretty harmless #on their own yeah harmless #but I have my reasons #and arson jokes aren’t funny #maybe I’m just a sourpuss but also #maybe I don’t like thinking my friends find it funny when an arsonist killed a mother and her baby a few months ago by lighting her exs car #on fire to like. make a statement or whatever #the family that died died because of someone who thought arson was a good idea #they had nothing to do with her or her ex #please either tag arson if it’s important or don’t joke about it don’t normalize the idea of lighting things on fire please #this happens all the time #someone tried to burn down my neighborhood not that long ago too by lighting an abandoned boat on fire right under our houses at the bottom #of the hillside #arson just. isn’t funny. it’s cruel and horrifying because people don’t know how to treat fire with respect #I’m traumatized by fire and arsonists. it’s not even that far of a stretch really #ppl that joke abt starting fires just aren’t funny #don’t add discourse to this either I’m obviously not in the mood and I won’t be nice
