Some more quick photos as This arrived alongside Nightshade,

Bingo Toys "Spider Girl", aka, *not* Blackarachnia/Airachnid.

Such a gorgeous figure in hand, my crappy low light photographs don't do it justice. It improves lot on their Windblade with larger feet and no backwards shin joints so she can actually stand up on her own, and better colours (as I felt their Windblade needed more red or blue to break up the black).

I love her armour design*, as it's a nice blend of the Beast Wars and Animated look of the character. But I was initially going to pass on this figure I hated the miss-matching flesh coloured face her initial reveal had, and a face can make or break a figure for me. However Seemingly a lot of other people had issues with the face, as they added gold versions of the four faces as an extra accessory at the last minute which sold it for me.

*While I'm not overly keen on boobs on a robot it's been a part of Blackarachnia's design since the 90s, and as much as I liked their Windblade I think the 'sexy' look works so much better for Blackarachnia.

I'll need to get my light box set up again and do some proper photography of her and Nightshade at some point...

God, people's whinging is really pissing me off today.

Here I am, trying to get hyped over Bailan Prime, and all I'm reading is "bro this is stupid it should've just been CHUG scale".

...can is legends fan not just enjoy our scale for once, without being told we're "wrong"?!

This happens every single time a legends company announces something awesome.

It's all I ever see. It's never "nice, but not for me". It's always "these companies need to stop making their figures so small".

Just...please...FFS let us enjoy our scale. You have options already.

Transart Pink Spider, *not* transmetal/ Beast Wars Arcee.

Yes, I got myself another Arcee toy!

Whether this figure appeals to you really depends on how you feel about the transmetal Blackarachnia design which is very much an acquired taste.

It's not a bad toy by any means but if you are planning on picking it up it has a lot of annoying minor issues including:

- missing articulation you'd normally expect for a "masterpiece" style figure such as a wrist swivel and finger articulation.

- extremely tight shoulder joints that squeak and feel like they might snap when you try to bring her arms forward (this is a common issue with the mould apparently and isn't just something wrong with my copy)

-she has die cast feet but can't really stand on her own due to the narrow high heals, (in the photograph where she is free standing she fell over a few seconds after I snapped the image!) especially if you have her spider kibble attached. Fortunately she does come with a decent stand.

- Her removable bra is really annoying. I know it's a reference to the unfortunate QC problem the original toy had, but honestly the whole thing comes across as a bit "cringe" to me (though at least they didn't paint on robo nipples or something!). It's only held on by an extremely weak magnet and constantly falls off when trying to pose her. I ended up sticking the bra on with a glob of blu-tak, as you don't actually have to remove it to transform her unlike what the instructions say.

I also kinda wish she'd come with alternative blue spider legs as I think she'd look better with blue rather than black spider legs... I'm half considering custom painting mine...
