MAIN PLOT LINE OF DLC HAS BEEN FINISHED, SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT (long post, be warned)

7.8/10, kieran doesn't actually kill us.

Seriously though, I enjoyed it!! Since I don't actually own the game (we poor), I watched a no-commentary playthrough so there are plenty of things I very likely missed, including optional dialog, side-quests, and whatever that thing with the professors is (still lookin' for a video without some guy over it), so I can only comment on the bits I saw! That being said, here we go.

First of all, the BATTLES!! Despite not being able to play them myself, they looked SUPER fun!! I screamed when I saw Lacey's tailwind/lightscreen prankster whimsicott, and even MORE so when I saw it was sashed! I loved the usage of competitive items, and the fact that all their teams weren't completely mono-type, each having one exception to their type (Lacey's excadrill, Crispin's Exeggcutor, Amarys's Reuniclus, and Drayton's Sceptile) that they DIDN'T terrastalize was lovely touch!! Amarys's fight was super hype in particular, despite having an over 20 level advantage, the person I watched still nearly wiped to her! Her trick room AI does appear a bit goofy, but it's a small flaw. Finally, Kieran's battle... I personally adore a good rain team, but unfortunately Kieran's politoed was frozen at the start of the battle, and remained that way all the way til the end, so I can't honestly say how difficult it looked. The one thing I will say is that before the indigo disk was out, I created a hypothetical team for Kieran, and I CALLED that Grimmsnarl!! Literally even the focus sash. If anyone's curious, here was the hypothetical team I made. I'm a nuzlocker, not a competitive player, so it very well may be shit. Apologies in advance.

Next is the characters!! Every design slapped as always, and I enjoyed their personalities! Lacey was adorbs, Crispin was fun, and Amarys might just be one of my new favorites! As for Drayton? Let me tell you, I was side-eyeing him the whole time the MOMENT after he said THIS to Kieran.

After all the hype around dokutaro/peechikeen (now know as pecharunt, apparently), and all the speculation that Kieran would fall victim to its influence, him saying "that's just peachy" made my rat brain go into overdrive. In the end, I think it was just Legends Arceus giving me Volo flashbacks.

Now, the main event... KIERAN! Let me tell you, he gave me GOOSEBUMPS. Every time he appeared, I could feel a chill run up my spine, and his battle had my heart RACING. ESPECIALLY his breakdown at the end of it! One of the best times I've had in a good while. The animation, his reaction, all of it was GREAT!! It was so refreshing to see him not immediately heel-face turn.

Unfortunately, though, what happened after that all disappointed me. I admit I got too attached to the Dokutaro Posession theory, buy it was still disappointing for Dokutaro (I know that's not its name, leave me be) to not play any role in the main story. It felt like a natural conclusion to what the game was setting up, I thought he'd throw the master ball at terapagos, it'd fail, and he'd become so overwhelmed with everything that has happened that he'd succumb to Dokutaro's control and we'd have to fight the Dokutaro-Kieran with Terapagos's aid. That's not what happened, and I felt a bit sad. His recovery from his breakdown was still set up nicely and had some atleast sufficient justification, but it still felt like too-little too-soon. It felt more like he just gave up all together rather than defeated his demons. He'd never be as strong as the player, and that's that, which is a sour note to leave off on.

We see that he legitimately has nothing. All the other students left the MOMENT he was defeated. No one came to help the kid who was clearly having a panic attack. The BB league cares about him, sure, but I wouldn't consider them his friends. They all thought Kieran getting defeated would "fix" him, and even when he clearly wasn't any better after being defeated, they didn't do anything to assist him. Sure, sometimes when someone has climbed so high, you gotta let them fall, but once they do, you can't just leave them lying on the ground. You need to be there to lift them back up before they start digging.

This isn't an attack on the BB league at ALL. Like I said, I really enjoyed their characters! In fact, this reaction is part of the reason I like them so much. It adds depth.

I just wish that Kieran DID start digging, and that it led to something bigger. Even if Dokutaro wasn't involved, I atleast wanted the final battle with him to be that big thing, and not just a turtle that can't do anything but throw out weak earthpowers.

Though the biggest failing to me is that Kieran apologizes to us, but we don't apologize to him. We as in the player, and Carmine

Kieran's actions are his own and I'm not saying he shouldn't have apologized, but he wasn't solely culpable for how things turned out. We and Carmine purposefully lied, kept a secret that was dear to him, and were the straw that broke the camel's back. Even if we the player didn't apologize, Carmine should've!! Her treatment of Kieran heavily impacted him, and he mirrored her abuse (Kieran telling Carmine to "Shut it", just like she did to him, for example).

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was in the wrong here. Kieran took things too far, Carmine behavior is a serious problem, and the played character was complicit.

I'm not demonizing anyone here, I am the number one Carmine defender after all, but everyone needs to take responsibility. Not. Just. Kieran.

I relate heavily to both Kitakami siblings, as both an elder sister with younger siblings who she's accidentally mistreated, and as a little sister with an older sibling who treats me like I'm lesser.

I've lashed out at my older sibling, and while my reaction wasn't proportional, it doesn't mean my emotions weren't justified.

I have severe genetic anger issues (that I'm now thankfully medicated for), and have unjustly taken them out on my younger siblings.

Carmine needs to apologize too, or the cycle will just continue. Maybe she already did and I missed it, or maybe it happens in the post-game. However, if she didn't? It makes me feel unresolved.

Anyways, that all I gotta say on it!! Hope someone enjoyed this overly long rambling!!

(P.S. I still don't trust dragon boy. "Thats just peachy" my ASS, you know something ya toothpaste haired cunt. Why did they request to bring ya along to area zero anyways, ya plot relevant FUCK.)

He didn't know when or how he gained consciousness. All he remembered was the first thing he saw when he "woke up" familiar faces in a usual place, the calm music that the Pokemon Center plays every night. Pokemon was standing right next to him, but as his eyes looked forward into what he perceived was a giant portal created by Palkia and Dialga themselves. And a smiling face looking down upon the world he inhabited.

He had thought you were one of Arceus's angels, and this was about a dream, but soon, he had realized that only half was the case.

It all seemed to click who you were. You are not some dead fish-eyed child with a robotic Pikachu like what this world had portrayed you as no far from; instead of that kid with the permanent smile, you always seem to have a tired look on your face with either a small half-smile or a Blank Stare. But to Ingo, he always preferred to you behind the screen. Even when you were no longer watching the world, he could still hear your faint voice going about your day. You seemed more lively and more human than the blank slated avatar they gave you. How could he not be drawn to you even though you seem so sad? Your eyes and your being just seem so full of life that he felt an urge to protect and care for you.

Even though the fake Island had tons of people and, he felt more alone than he ever did, especially when he realized he was the only one different from the rest. He can't help but respond to every little question or reaction in his head, afraid of what you might do if he ever breaks away from the game's script.

But on a particular day that was a rough one for you mentally and physically, when Ingo saw you opening up the app instead of that same expression, your eyes were red from crying. No, you were still crying. His heart sank. If he could, if he could touch you, he would hold you close and Whisper nothing but good things in your ear until you calm down, but he can't do that. He couldn't do anything!! He felt sick with worry as he watched you cry, your lip quivering as you vent to yourself, saying the most horrible things about yourself !! And for a moment, he threw away his worries of the consequences.

" Are you okay?"

A simple three-letter sentence that made you freeze; your heart's practically stopped as you didn't know that you were being watched. It took you a while for your brain to process who the voice was coming from, looking down at your phone to see your favorite character stare back. Huh... Odd you didn't know he had that line before.... and not only that, you didn't remember clicking on him. Usually, characters say their lines after you click on them, yet you don't even touch them. As you were Gathering your thoughts, Ingo spoke again.

" I truly wish I could wipe away those tears, I regretfully can't do much but if it helps tell me about your day and I'll listen."

Ingo speaks again... no text box appears; nothing; he just talked to you, mentioning your crying. In that first moment, you didn't know how you felt. Your favorite character coming to life and talking to you was almost a dream come true, but the thought just seemed so impossible and unrealistic that you doubted the fact that you were awake. And your feelings are already all over the place, having no one to turn to, no one to comfort you, craving that comfort, your heart exploded. You can't stop the tears rolling down your face, even if is just a dream; what a beautiful dream it is.

"I-i don't know." You stuttered you were far too gone to even articulate what you are feeling all your emotions swelling for the past month or two bubbling up into a mess of emotion. You want us to tell him tell him that your day was crap tell him how crappy you looked right now tell him that he can't believe he saw you like this that your first meeting with your favorite character your favorite person in the world was like this red in the face tears falling from your red and puffy eyes.

But Ingo did not seem fazed; he was not disgusted, he was not angry at you. He understood if he was there if he wasn't trapped behind the screen, he would have wished you in his arms and laid his lips on your forehead. He knew how you felt; he listened to your angry ramblings about yourself; he listened to the times people had treated you like you were less than human or misused your kindness, manipulated and used you for their own gain. He wanted to hold you close, make you something you like, and tell you that the word you know about yourself is not true; he wanted to tell you how much you mean to him and how nice and loving you are, how kind and thoughtful and how gorgeous you were. Those people who mistreated you are not good people, and you deserve to be respected, you deserve happiness, and you deserve to be loved.

You deserve to be told that you're beautiful every day, to be made breakfast in bed and kissed at every waking moment. Because that's what he would do for you; that's what his heart ached for him to do.

But he did what he could do which was listen to your broken sobs as you pour your heart out.

" It sounds like you had quite a day... I wish I could do more than just listen and speak to you, but what I can do is tell you what the things you say about yourself is not true... and I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. Could you stay with me for a while? I wish to talk to you, and we start from the beginning, shall we? Now, my dear, please tell me what's bothering you and wipe away those tears. Pretend that it's my fingers swiping across your eyes."

His voice, usually loud and booming, was surprisingly soft, warm, and welcoming. From his calming voice to your Outburst earlier, you felt your heart slow down and your tears dry as you wipe them from your face; those steel gray eyes light up for a moment when he sees just a piece of a smile flicker on your lips.

Hi, sorry if it already has been done, but would Darkrai be a friend?

I have very low hope of it having a good grade, but there's hope!

This one may be a surprise, but it’s probably a pleasant one for fans of this pokémon, myself included. Darkrai would be… well… an okay pet. There’s a lot of factors that get in the way of a solid recommendation here, but we’re not looking at Giratina or anything. It’s complicated.

Considering the basics, Darkrai is on the larger size for pet compatibility. Despite their ghostly appearance, Darkrai is pretty heavy at over 100 pounds, and they stand almost 5 feet tall. Mobility in an enclosed space might not be too big of a problem for them, given their ability to levitate, but this size will disqualify them for many pet owners.

One factor that is very important to consider is that Darkrai, being a mythical pokémon, is exceptionally rare to encounter. While they have been spotted in regions around the world, the chances of tracking down Darkrai to adopt are pretty low for inexperienced pokémon trainers. The only solid lead I can offer you from the pokédex is that Darkrai is most active on new moon nights (Diamond).

Unfortunately (and this is the biggest factor holding Darkrai back), this pokémon might not be happy to be a house pet. Darkrai has been the subject of countless legends and horror stories due to their ability to inflict nightmares upon sleeping humans, but they are not a particularly malevolent creature (Pearl, Shining Pearl, Legends: Arceus). The pokédex stresses again and again that Darkrai “means no harm” (Platinum, Black/White, Black2/White2). Most of these negative encounters with this pokémon are a result of intrusions on their territory: in order to protect themself, Darkrai drives humans and other pokémon away with this power (Platinum, HeartGold/SoulSilver). This is a pokémon with a natural distrust of humans for whatever reason. I’m afraid this means that they would be unlikely to want to live with you until you’ve built up a strong bond, something that would be really hard to do considering their formidable deterrent abilities.

As has been previously alluded, Darkrai has the ability to inflict people with terrifying dreams. Additionally, they can put anybody into a deep sleep using their signature move, Dark Void, as well as Hypnosis. Darkrai may not be exceptionally violent, but they are a massive threat to anyone asleep. Their ability, Bad Dreams, and moves like Dream Eater allow them to cause significant harm to sleeping foes. A grouchy Darkrai could be a serious problem for any owner.

Overall, given their non-violent nature and solid ease-of-care, Darkrai would make a decent pet for anyone looking for a large pet, if not for some significant issues. The pokémon’s rarity and antisocial behavior would make them a difficult friend to adopt for a vast majority of prospective owners. But you know what, go for it. What’s the worst that could happen? Terrible nightmares, that’s what. But at least they won’t vaporize you or anything!

Mentions of bullying and self doubt. Drayton comes to your side in your moment of zen. Deciding to tell you what he truly thinks in the first moment he gets to share with you.

It was so quiet. The stars above you shining brighter than normal, the moon's radiant light more prominent than you’d seen it before, almost a halo around the planet. Refreshing. That was the only word your mind could muster up in the sea of peace. Just you and the sky, no Pokémon, no people, not even a cloud. Pure peace, the odd sound of a Pokémon cry being the only thing truly bonding everything together. Sometimes the thought of what was up there ran across your mind… what if you could just grab a star, hold it, love it close up instead of admiring from afar. As if you were trying to make your thoughts come true, your hand reached up towards the sky, covering the moon so only the stars could be seen by your eyes, until another sight took over. “Seems you’ve taken, reaching for the stars literally huh!” Your new vision chimed looking down at you completely covering your vision. Lowering your hand you realise your visitor is no other than Colgate himself, Drayton.

Quickly sitting up, you stare at him in pure confusion. Drayton was never up at this time, he may have been a bit laid back but he stuck to a very strict sleep schedule, so seeing him up past that was highly confusing. Not to mention the fact he was out here alone, normally he’s paired up with Crispin. Apparently your confusion was noticed by your new companion who simply chuckles at the sight of your face, sitting down beside you.

“I came looking for you…” Drayton bluntly responded, a small smile appearing on his face when your confusion only grew more. He was looking for you? Once again as if he could read your mind, he continued. “Your confusion, I can tell you are wondering why I'm out here. Now you're asking yourself why I came out here specifically to find you… If I'm honest, I've been trying to find you all day. Seems Arceus had other plans for me today.”

Turning on your knees, you give him your full attention, confusion now curiosity as your attentive ears perk up in anticipation. Why had he been looking for you all day? He had your number so he could have just texted you, left a voicemail, anything at all. Why in person?

With a sigh, Drayton turns his head to the sky admiring the same stars you just were. “You know I'm not one to use tender words. Just wastes time and plays on the emotions of others. I prefer speaking plainly and honestly! You know that better than anyone… So I'm going to ask you this plainly all you need to do is nod yes or no.”

His attention was now back on you, a small bit of concern laced over his eyes, causing your stomach to sink slightly.

“Yesterday, those two boys… were they bothering you?” He asks plainly. Within a moment your eyes grew wide as you replayed the scene in your head. Skipping over small details, only remembering the feeling of them pushing you against the wall, dragging you around in a strange push pull game, yelling hurtful and disgraceful things to you, all because of your silence. This wasn’t an uncommon occurrence either by these two. To be used as they’re punching bag in a sense. But never once would you go for help, to you, it would have only been confusing. Having to write down what you wanted to say. So all you could do was repress the thoughts in your head and continue on with your day, as if it never happened. But now… sitting here, being, asked about the event. The images of their faces, coated in a sinister smile, as if these boys had some kick in seeing your misery. Their eyes were black in your mind, blocked out completely, only their mouths repeating the words over and over. “That’s a yes”

Drayton's sudden words pulled you from your daze, staring intently at him, confused as to how he knew this. From your knowledge… No one else was there in that hallway.

“You know you can come see me if you're being bothered right? You don’t have to go through something like this alone! No one deserves to be treated like that. And don’t give me that ‘I don’t know what you mean look’ This isn’t the first time I've witnessed it…” He looked at you completely focused on your expressions reading each one perfectly. Gently taking your hands into his he pulled up towards him before continuing once more. “I care about you… so much, and seeing how people treat you, just because you don’t talk is heart breaking, but knowing the fact you didn't think you could come to me, hurts even more. You are so important to me, and I want you to know that I will always be here for you. And I want you to know that I will protect you, even if you don’t want me to stand by your side, I will protect you from afar, or as close as you’ll allow me. But please, don’t push me away, it's alright to be afraid, to feel outcasted. But know, you will never be left behind by me, I will never leave you out to dry.”

Tears began welling up in your eyes, your mind running through the words he said over and over again.

“I just wish I had said all this sooner… This whole Kieran situation, the battle league, everything was keeping me away from telling you this…” Suddenly he snaps out of his own daze, seems he got so caught up in the moment he hadn't realised what was going on, and seeing your surprised face, tears running down your flushed cheeks caused him to smile warmly, running his free hand across them to clear away the tears. “I’m sorry, seems I got caught up in my own talking I barely gave you a chance to process anything I said”

You began profusely shaking your head, not wanting him to apologise to you for anything, you just couldn't understand why he was saying any of this to you or why he would care so much in the first place. Just thinking of it made you smile. This whole situation was so overwhelming yet so comforting, the only thing you could get your body to do was hug him. A hug which he returned, no hesitation. His embrace was warm, comforting, even more so than the night sky you’d been absorbed in just moments before. All his words seemed so true at this moment.

“You know… I’ve seen many sights since I came to this school, views many people only dream of seeing, and yet, none compare to your smile.”

Silly little idea but what if Volo in the masters timeline meets someone who looks just like his S/O from the past

Many things in life made curiosity swell within Volo's mind. It was why he was often scolded by Cogita and Ginter about abandoning his duties to explore old ruins or investigate artefacts that he found lying around the region. This sense of wonder only would increase in such a land as Pasio. That portal truly had brought him to a place that seemed almost mythical in its existence. Powerful trainers abound in droves, legendaries were almost as common a sight as their regular counterparts, conspiracies, and organisations devoted to various beliefs found their way to this strange place. It was truly little wonder that Volo himself had ended up here.

His desperate prayers for a place to finally extract the will that he so desperately wished for were answered. Arceus would likely appear here sooner than one might think. All three of its creations were here, after all. In possession of trainers that he would not dare poke alone… No, Volo would have to tread these waters carefully. Rei had been pulled here, too. Foolishly, it seemed that he had not alerted anyone to the meeting they had on Mount Coronet. Volo had more than enough room to act and gather the information that he needed.

It was as he strolled through the city square, observing conversations among the people around, that one person particularly caught his eye. That hair colour reminded him of someone… He blinked as he turned to observe the person from the front. For a moment, he truly believed that his heart stopped. You…? What were you doing here? Had you pulled here? He stood stiffly as the wind blew through the area. You gazed back at him with eyes that held no strong emotion.

You… It was you, was it not? Did you not recognise him? He was not in any disguise… He was plainly himself. There were a few people who had resembled those of his time around the island, but he knew that they were entirely separate people. This person before him was without a doubt his lover, however. Too many small details aligned perfectly with his recollection of them. He swallowed. But… That Rei and Lucas… Their similarities were chief in his mind as he contemplated his thoughts. They barely had few things that separated them. Only memories.

This you… A version of you before you had fallen into Hisui. One that had no idea of the plans Volo had — One that lacked the relationship that he had with you. Part of the blond wanted to yell about how cruel the creation continuously was to him, but another knew that this situation was partly on him. He shook off whatever negative feelings wanted to consume his mind and brought his friendly smile to his lips. “Hello,” his hand waved at you, “Sorry for staring, I thought that you were someone I knew!”

Those words seemed to make whatever distress you had vanished.

Volo easily would worm his way into this you's life. He truly had been missing his partner… Perhaps, this was his wish granted again.

You, foolishly, were just happy that a handsome man clearly wanted your time and attention.

The Plasma Grunt grips her uniform tightly, sweat already building on her forehead. Just minutes before she was in the pokémon rehabilitation centre, preparing liberated pokemon to be released, when her supervisor broke the news.

"Sam, Lord Ghetsis requires your company. Report to his office immedietly,"

And now here she is, wondering down the mostly barren halls, the sound of her well polished boots clacking against the floor being the only sound.

The door to his office was surprisingly unguarded (especially since there is a concerningly large dent in the centre of it), she reaches forward to knock-

A gentle hand suddenly grasped her wrist, evoking a terrified gasp. She slaps her other hand over her mouth, muffling the sound. Only inches from her face, silent, silver eyes judging each curve of her face.

‘They must be a Shadow,’ she thinks to herself, uncertain if she could break the surprisingly gentle grip on her wrist if she tried. She’d never seen them in person, but heard from the higher ups that they were Lord Ghetsis’ personal servants, capable of anything and everything he commanded of them.

As soon as they had appeared, the Shadow was gone. “Lord Ghetsis will see you now,” a quiet, disembodied voice whispered from behind her, and the door gently swings open.

That’s when she starts to worry.

Only 17, Sam had dropped out of school a month prior to fully dedicate herself to freeing poor, abused pokémon alongside Team Plasma. She spends most of her time tending to the liberated pokémon, though yesterday morning she’d received a scolding from her supervisor. In her month as a part of the infamous team, she was yet to liberate a single pokémon.

Was she going to be fired? Can you fire someone if they aren’t being paid? Her time with Team Plasma is completely voluntary, so why were they mad? Why did it concern Ghetsis?

“Come in,” a deep, booming voice demanded, the tone of authority causing her to jump slightly. She did as she was told, slowly making her way into the ornate office, until she stood in the centre of it, before the mighty cedar wood desk.

She’d seen her leader before, obviously. He often preached in towns across the region, it was one of his speeches which convinced her to join Team Plasma to begin with. But this, it was different. He sat upon a chair so delicate it could be considered a throne, his golden collar hung off his shoulders with pride.

Ghetsis raises an unimpressed eyebrow, and Sam immediately drops to her knees.

“You called me, my Lord?” her voice is shaking almost uncontrollably. Arc, was he always this tall?

“Indeed I did,” Ghetsis stands, lifting the lid of some kind of ancient laptop. It was thicker than a novel, good Arc. “Come here,” he demands, and Sam obliges. Ghetsis turns the screen around, and on it Sam is faced with… A Rotomblr post?

“Read.” he huffs, and she does so immediately.

It’s an anonymous message, filled with usual anti-plasma statements, but then her eyes graze over the last sentence. Once again she slaps her hand over her mouth, this time muffling laughter.

“What’s so funny?!” Ghetsis slams his hands down on the table, the sudden action frightening the poor grunt. She trips backward, only just retaining her footing. “All these people laugh at it, just like this, and refuse to explain!” He’s fuming, teeth gritted in anger. If it were someone else within striking distance from the old man, Sam doubts she would be able to control herself from doubling over in hysteric laughter.

“You’re young,” he deadpans, “the youngest amongst our ranks. Explain this to me; what are they saying?”

Oh good Arceus no.

Sam gulps, her voice now quivering with suppressed laughter, “I uh.. My Lord I believe they’re saying they find you… attractive,” she silently begs, please don’t make me say it out loud.

“I don’t believe you,” he snarls, clearly in a downright rotten mood. “If that were the case, it wouldn’t have received this reaction. Tell me what this means,” he demands, his finger shoved directly below the word ‘dilf’.

“Uhhh..” You know what, this is worse than being fired. She’d rather Arceus strike her down in this office than explain that to her boss. Though, he was clearly growing more restless, and the scars she could now see littering his face reinforced the impression that you should Not make him mad.

“Well you see… It’s an acronym,” she winces, staring directly past Ghetsis, “it’s an acronym, yes… Uh…”

“Say it!” He snaps, “I’ve had enough of this tomfoolery, tell me what a dilf is!”

Sam squeezes her eyes shut, opens her mouth, and, “Dilf is an acronym for ‘Dad I’d Like to Fuck’!”

Silence

“I’m sorry, it means what?”

Remember this??? I put together a lot of pieces suddenly and oh no oh no oh Noe. I wonder why he has the kink in his second neck, eh? Could it just possibly be because Meau got hit by the axe in exactly the same place??? I’m extremely concerned about the possibility that this is why he formed early, because the damage somehow ripped the two of them apart. That seems like, y’know, a very good way to gain one ghost typing. And, y’know, a very good way for Meau to only have properly seen his original shiny form for a brief period of time. Did he “die” from the attack? Is that how he got the ghost typing? Is that why his fur darkened so much? Or even worse, did Meau come so close to death that he split off from her to be her replacement? Is that what his second purpose is? Did he appear early because Meau wasn’t supposed to die yet??? Bucket wasn’t in the picture yet, the universe needed a backup plan and our current backup plan didn’t exist yet. Fuck, our second palkia is shiny to replace the first, dead, normal one. You’ve even teased about the amount of shiny luck in this family. Can you truly tell me that’s not why Noe came out shiny??? I’m sure some of this is wrong, but you’d have to deny it directly for me to let go of the idea that Noe was the backup plan and that’s why he’s shiny like palkia. Quite frankly that has me making other conspiracy theories about Qari and ?????? and the fact that our arceus is shiny potentially meaning that he’s the second fucking arceus, but I’ll leave that for another unhinged ask later. Same with the theory that he got the darkened fur, ghost type, and glitchiness because arceus had to give him a temporary purpose when Meau didn’t die. In the meantime, Noe’s second purpose was absolutely to be Meau 2.0, and he absolutely has the second neck kink because Meau was hit and quite nearly killed in the second neck in the exact same place. The middle part, that’s not certain. How he formed is all kinds of unclear. But damnit, I see things that I really really like for Phlurrii and Fuzzball purposes and really really don’t like for Meau and Noe purposes. I love it to bits and also I’m extremely scared for the cat gods because none of the things I have listed are good things for anyone in front of the 4th wall.

Gotta wait for the in story visuals because that delivery will be eveyrthing X3

‘’Accidentally’’ walking in on their S/O (you) masturbating (but you never had sex together… yet) (Part 2)

Laventon (I can’t find a good gif of him😭)

- He knows he should be a gentleman and leave, but he’s just too enticed. He always does his best to be a perfect gentleman with you, but he’s been trying to hint at wanting to go further in your relationship for weeks now, and maybe his approach was too subtle, but you didn’t seem to catch on.

- He just loves you so much, he can’t help but having some desires for intimacy. And seeing you like this… but of course, he’s still a gentleman, so he make his presence known by clearing his throat and, for once, directly say what he wants, instead of just hinting: ‘’My Love… I would like to make love to you… Would you let me?’’

- If you refuses, he understand, but can’t help feeling a bit hurt. It’ll pass eventually, but he do end up avoiding you for a few days because things are just a bit too awkward for now.

- If you accept, you’ll definitely have a great time. Laventon is a very attentive lover and a quick learner; it doesn’t takes him long to find what will make you moan for him, pure adoration in his eyes as he sees the effects of his touches and his kisses on your body.

Beni (Can’t find a good gif of Beni either! 😭)

- Accident? Oh no. This is no accident. Beni heard you way before he even got close to the bedroom and walked in knowing full well what was waiting for him. While he’s wearing his usual canteen uniform, he already removed the bandana usually covering his hair, and his demeanour is more ninja-like; he’s not slouching and he moves silently.

- It’s only when he grab your wrists with one hand and pin them above your head that you finally notice him, because of how stealthy he was. His eyes are roaming your body hungrily. ‘’What do you think you’re doing, Pet?’’ Honestly, he takes it as a bit of an insult; he thinks that you’re thinking of him as too old to be able to satisfy you and that’s why you decided to satisfy yourself instead of, you know, asking him.

- ‘’I can guarantee you, I can do a much better job than your hands. All you have to do is ask’’ His free hand is ghosting over your body, not touching yet, waiting for your answer. If you ask him to leave, he apologize curtly and leave, but for the next few days, it’s pretty easy to see that he’s still a bit annoyed and he’ll eventually ask for explanations for your refusal.

- If you do ask him to help you, a wicked smile appears on his face as he start teasing your body with his free hand and his mouth until you’re begging for more. And then he makes it a point to bring you to climax repeatedly until you’re an overstimulated mess under him. ‘’Such a good Pet for me! See, I told you. Much better than your hands.’’

Clavell

- ‘’… Are you trying to give me a heart attack, my Dear?’’ Flustered old man. Look away almost immediately, but his legs refuse to move and he keep accidentally glancing at you. He isn’t sure how to feel; after all, you’re the one who told him he could come in the bedroom and he finds you like that? Almost too much for his heart.

- Clavell isn’t the kind to just walk in the bedroom unannounced, so in this case, it was on purpose on your part; you’ve been hinting at wanting to go all the way for nearly a month, without success and you wanted to entice and fluster him. Well, mission accomplished. As his legs finally obey him again, he stumbles to the bed, a blush on his cheeks but a determined look in his eyes.

- ‘’I apologize for not catching on your needs and desires sooner, my Dear. Let me make it up to you.’’ He removes his jacket and neck piece (or whatever that thing around his neck is called) before climbing on the bed and kissing you, his hands gently caressing your body.

- Clavell just hope he isn’t too rusty; it has been many years since he last got intimate with someone, but as it turns out, he was worrying for nothing. You make him feel much younger and your reactions boost his confidence and makes him bolder.

Jacq

- ‘’Oh… Oh my…’’ Jacq stares at you for a moment, too surprised to move, then finally look away, his face a deep shade of red. He can’t stop a nervous chuckle to escape his lips. ‘’I am so sorry, sweetheart! I should’ve knocked! I should… probably leave now, uh?’’

- He turn back and take a few steps, but then stops. ‘’Unless… Ah… I can’t believe I am going to say that, but… I would love to… help you… if you’d let me…’’ He waits for your answer, his heart beating wildly in his chest.

- If you refuse his offer, he apologize again and leave, slightly disappointed, but understanding. However, he will probably suggest being more intimate soon enough.

- If you accept, Jacq is overjoyed and make sure that you won’t regret it. He’s very attentive to your reactions and seems fascinated by them. He make sure to leave you completely satisfied, and is pretty quick to suggest doing this again soon.

Brassius

- Brassius is… a bit too excited to see you in such a state, to be honest. ‘’Oooooh! My Muse! You are so beautiful right now, absolutely ravishing! I would’ve never guessed that you would grace me with such an incredible spectacle!’’

- Brassius seems to think that you were doing this on purpose. He quickly walks up to the bed, looking at you with pure adoration in his eyes. ‘’Please! Don’t get shy now! I’m begging you! I want to see that look of pure pleasure on your face once again!’’

- If you tell him the truth and ask him to leave, there’s a look of shame and disappointment on his face, but he accept the facts. ‘’Oh… I apologize, my Muse… I… will give you some privacy, then.’’ After some time, he bring the subject back, because he cannot get your image out of his head and he wants to see you in such an erotic way again.

- If you decide to play along, soon enough, Brassius decides that he needs more and starts caressing you, admiring your reactions as if you were the most beautiful piece of art he ever seen, practically worshiping you…

Larry

- He loosen up his tie, glad to have left his jacket at the entrance because he feels really warm, suddenly. He may look calm and unbothered, but the sight definitely had its effect on him. ‘’Are you messing with me, Honey? I know I’m home a bit early, but still…’’

- You quickly cover yourself and awkwardly explain that you just didn’t saw the time pass. Then, you try distracting him from the situation by telling him that you can prepare a snack for him if he go wait in the living room for a few minutes. Then you ask him if he’s hungry…

- ‘’Starving…’’ Larry subconsciously lick his lips as he can’t help but stare at you. He slowly make his way to the bed, giving you plenty of time to say something to stop him if you want, as he kneel on the bed and gently, but firmly cup your face with his hands and kiss you with a passion you didn’t even knew he was able to show. ‘’You look delicious, may I taste you?’’

- If you do stop him at any moment, he simply apologize, excuse himself from the room and afterwards will act as if this never happened. If you don’t stop him, you’re in for a treat! He slowly kiss his way down your body until he’s finally able to taste you, and from the moaning sounds he makes, it’s pretty obvious that he’s enjoying this just as much as you.

LU Pokémon AU - The Link’s Types and General LoZ Types

To preface this, this is all made up and generally not canon to the actual Pokémon universe. But humans are canonically Pokémon, so they are likely to have Pokémon types. Before we takle the Links, let’s explain how things generally work in this AU.

All humans (yes, Hylians-and Gerudos-are humans too) are generally Normal types. Occasionally, humans are able to gain a secondary type, think about those Psychic type trainers who have psychic powers. Those trainers are Normal Psychic types, and the Normal type being first is important, because if it isn’t first, then they are no longer a human. Sheikah aren’t humans, despite trying to appear so. They are Fairy Dark type, but try to-and have successfully as of BotW/TotK-pass themselves off as Normal Dark type. Dark does not always necessitate being evil.

Naturally, humans typically gain either a Psychic or Fighting secondary type, although gaining a secondary type is still very rare, and is an ability unique to humans. Zora, Rito, and Gorons can’t gain a secondary type like how humans do. Zora are Water Fighting type, Rito are Flying Fighting type, and Gorons are Rock Ground type.

To gain a secondary Psychic or Fighting type, a human must devote themselves to learning the type’s moves with the help of actual Psychic or Fighting Pokémon. It is a hard, and challenging process, and yet almost all Gerudos are naturally Normal Fighting types due to how many Gerudos in the past gained a Fighting type despite the tedious process. Urbosa and Riju are Normal Electric type. Ganon typically gains a secondary Dark type, but when he’s pig Ganon he’s mono Dark type, since he’s no longer human. Few humans can also be born with a secondary Psychic type as well, although it’s a rare occurrence.

The Zeldas are all Normal Fairy types thanks to Hylia, who was a Fairy Dragon type. Post-TotK Zelda is instead a Normal Dragon type, and was a Dragon Fairy type while in dragon form.

Now onto the main course, the Links. Here is a list of the different types the Link have and explanations for them:

Wild - Normal Ghost - After coming back to life after 100 years, he gained a secondary Ghost type. He also gained the powers of his fellow champions from their spirits, which further cemented the secondary Ghost type he has. If he didn’t gain their powers, the Ghost type would have gradually faded away and he would’ve went back to being a mono Normal type. Once the other Links learn about this, they would be very concerned.

Twilight - Normal Dark - After getting turned into a Dusk Lycanroc with the use of Twili magic, he got slapped with a permanent Dark type. His Lycanroc form is also a Rock Dark type instead of a mono Rock type because of this.

Legend - Normal - Arceus himself made sure that he stayed a mono Normal type, and that he can’t learn any moves without the use of items, this Link is powerful enough.

Hyrule - Normal Fairy - This Link is very adept at learning different moves. Just learning different move types doesn’t give you a new type however, he only got this type after learning how to transform into a fairy. Using this transformation power enough times had made the secondary type permanent.

Four - Normal Fairy - The Minish are Fairy Normal types, and instead of just shrinking down to their size, Four was able to transform into a Minish. Like with Hyrule, using this power enough times had slapped him with a permanent secondary Fairy type.

Time - Normal Fairy - I realize how many Links have this type. However, he gained this type from the incident with the Fierce Deity mask. Each of his transformation masks changes his type: Deku Mask - Grass Ghost | Zora Mask - Water Ghost | Goron Mask - Rock Ghost | Fierce Deity Mask - Fairy Ghost | You can guess why they all have a secondary Ghost type.

Warriors - Normal - He’s just some guy man. He wishes he had a secondary Fairy type, he loves fairies.

Sky - Normal - Just because he can fly with a giant bird, doesn’t mean he suddenly gets a secondary Flying type. He can’t fly by himself. He’s just some guy.

Wind - Normal - No he isn’t a Water type, but he is on his way to becoming Normal Psychic soon, even if he doesn’t really know that yet.

Here’s some other Links that are not really in LU or are not the main 9 Links:

Spirit - Normal Psychic - He didn’t die or get separated from his body like his Zelda, who is a Normal Ghost type, but he can see spirits better than the normal person, so he gets a secondary Psychic type, which he was actually born with.

First Hero - Normal Fairy - He got blessed by Hylia. That’s it.

Green, Red, Blue and Vio - They all get different secondary types because of the 4sword, with Green, Red, and Blue having Grass, Fire, and Water types respectively. This stays the same no matter who uses the blade. Vio, and any other fourth color gains a type that matches the emotion/mental state/whatever that color represents the most. So of course Vio is Normal Psychic, since he is the brains of the 4.

Ravio - Normal Psychic - Like most Lorians(is that what they’re called?), he’s Normal Psychic type, because unlike Hylians, the people of Lorule usually are born with a secondary Psychic typing. Ravio usually uses just his psychic powers to communicate with Sheerow easier. Sheerow is also a Pokémon, Flying Psychic type.

Linkle - Normal - She is very close to gaining a secondary Fighting type. With just a bit more training, she’ll finally get STAB on her Low Kicks.

Dark Link and Shadow Link - These two are different beings. Dark Links are mono Dark while Shadow Links are Dark Ghost.

Legends Z-A Thoughts and Theories!

Okay, I was pretty quiet on my opinions for Scarlet and Violet, but I'm confident enough to be very pleased and optimistic for this! Legends Arceus was the strongest Pokemon game we had in a decade, and to see them continue this, bring back Megas, and take an extra year to hopefully make it non-buggy? Makes me so so excited!

On Megas:

It's a bit of a surprise to see Megas back, but honestly? Not too much of a surprise. Even ignoring the inevitability of Kalos remakes, Megas are the only gimmick Pokemon kept around in their spinoffs. It was in Mystery Dungeon, Shuffle, Smash Bros, Pokemon Go, and probably more I'm forgetting! So it was always in the back of Gamefreak's mind and I'm glad it's truly back again!

With Gens 8 and 9 bringing back cross-gen evos, I think they'll focus on only giving Megas to three-stage lines, to not quash the potential of 2nd stage Pokemon getting regular evolutions. So starters and Pokemon like Flygon can get Megas since they can't evolve further, but Pokemon like Tropius and Chimecho probably won't, in case they get evolutions in Gen 10 (That then get Megas)

I also don't think we fully grasp how many more Pokemon can get Megas now, too. Barely any of Gen 5 and 6 had Megas (Seriously only 2 Pokemon between the 228 Pokemon in those gens) and we've had THREE more generations since then!!

Note: We went from wanting a Dunsparce evo, to wanting a Dunsparce Mega, to getting Dudunsparce with mixed fan reception. Now I'm going to be a selfish deluded clown bitch and get my hopes up for a Mega Dudunsparce.

Speaking of starters and Megas, do we think we'll get a mish-mash of older starters for this game that then get Megas (Say, Piplup, Snivy, and Scorbunny) or will we get Megas for the three Kalos starters?

Megas may mean Mega Stones return as held items, and held items weren't in Legends Arceus- new gameplay advancement?

Legends Arceus gave us 7 new Pokemon (most of them cross-gen evos) and a dozen new regional forms. Do you think we'll still get regionals this game, or will the design team be focused more on making new Megas instead?

On the world:

It's been confirmed the whole game is only in Lumiose City- how big is the map?? Hopefully we really do get lots of sidequests, biomes for wild Pokemon, and traversal options.

When is this? We're redeveloping Lumiose City, but are we in the past developing it into its current state, or are we in the present/future developing it into a new solarpunk city? Or neither, and this is a "Paradox" game set in a timeline which doesn't quite match ours?

This doesn't have to be an isekai (as in, we don't have to be time travellers again per se), just keep that in mind!

The "Z" in the logo represents Zygarde, with the black color and green hexagons. So who's the "A"? It's green with green scale/leaf patterns on it. What does it represent? The "Chaos" to Zygarde's "Order"? Is it a 5th Zygarde form or is it a whole new Pokemon?

Meta thoughts:

This further confirms my theory that Gen 9 will last until 2026, where they announce Gen 10 on that year's Pokemon Day for their 30th anniversary, and that's great! I'm glad they aren't overworking themselves too much compared to Gens 6-8.

On them "skipping" Unova remakes: I don't see this as skipping. We've been long overdue for a Z version since Kalos is literally the only Pokemon region to only appear in one release (no third version, no remakes, no sequels, no ultras, no DLC). So we're simply making up for the "deficit" of a third version here, and we can go back to focusing on Unova remakes for Gen 10.

Do you think we'll get any final updates to SV to tide us over until the next LegendZ trailer around August? Maybe a small DLC, mythical reveal, or free update?

Pokemon Adventures skipped the last Legends game, so they'll probably skip this one too? I'm fine either way- at least by skipping it, they won't be too rushed and stressed, and they'll actually have the time to flesh out SV and catch up with ORAS/SM/USUM/SwSh in the full volumes.

But on the off chance they do adapt Legends Z-A, do you think we'll get dexholders named Z and A??

Note for the future- the Yoasobi Pokemon song BiriBiri has a part where they namedrop all the game titles- one part has the lyrics "ABC to the XYZ". Long shot, but if Legends Z-A does indeed have an ABC theming, this could be a crazy bit of either coincidental or intentional foreshadowing!

Carmine and Kieran Roleswap AU: Teal Mask Edition

Sweet Arceus do I have a long AU for ya, because I am Very Normal about the Kitakami siblings and definitely don't go out of my way to find new ways to mess with their heads. Long AU summary under the cut! Beware all ye who enter here, for there are Ogres afoot.

So the most important thing to understand before we start is that Carmine and Kieran still retain aspects of their normal personalities. A 1:1 swap would be kinda boring (specifically, boring for me). However, their life experiences have changed here and that does give us some new juicy tidbits to explore.

Sketches provided by @funakounasoul... except for the Ogerpon sketch. I made that.

Kieran is the older sibling in this scenario. He's still shorter than his sister, but he's now older than the player character and probably has some devilish good looks. He's generally goodnatured, and being the older sibling and having to look out for a younger sister has balanced his personality a little bit. He's more mentally stable and mature than his standard self. He still has a pretty huge fondness for the ogre in the old legend, admiring its independence and strength. The major change to his personality here is that he's not as insanely shy, since he hasn't had a big scary savage sister to hide behind all his life.

Younger sister Carmine is shy of strangers and still wary of outsiders. Her posture visually in the Teal Mask is probably kind of stooped, like she's trying to hide how crazy tall she is. She has a bratty, slightly spoiled attitude in this scenario, because big brother Kieran is always hovering nearby to keep her out of trouble. She appears to be the player character's age or maybe a touch younger. Despite the initial shyness though, she's all aggression when she feels she or her family or really any of Kitakami as she sees it is threatened. She still dismisses Kieran's ogre obsession, but chalks it up to boys liking scary things. (You know, cuz girls never go for that kinda thing </massive sarcasm>)

The PC would meet them both for the first time in Mossui and Kieran is welcoming while Carmine glowers at you from somewhere behind him. Kieran's all about helping your classmate get safely to the community center and probably runs off to help, or perhaps to get the caretaker. Maybe you battle Carmine then because she's definitely not enjoying having these tourists in her fucking town. Whatever the scenario, Kieran and the caretaker get the rest of the Random Paldean Students safely to the community center and you get settled in.

Now, for a while, things don't change much in this scenario, except for Kieran not being super emotionally unstable. The next day, you're being introduced to the Blueberry kids properly and Kieran immediately suggests you and he pair up. Carmine isn't thrilled but as he points out, it's not like they can pair up together based on Briar's directions to make interschool pairs. She sulks off to find a Paldean student to deal with. Your character and Kieran have a friendly battle and he admires your skills. You go find the first two signboards and follow him up to the Dreaded Den more or less the same way as in Teal Mask. Then he invites you to the Festival of Masks and you go back to the family home. Carmine is not overly pleased to see you still hanging around, but she's unbending a little bit since you and Kieran obviously get on so well. They only find the two masks in the shed, Kieran tries to offer you his ogre mask, Carmine stops him, you get to the festival and do some balloon popping and maybe even beat Carmine's score.

It's Ogerpon's appearance that changes the story dramatically. At first, you are the only one that sees her, but then Kieran comes looking for you after pacifying Carmine. Ogerpon spooks, drops her mask, and you both have a moment of shock as you realize this is not a child, this is the damn ogre. Then Ogerpon bolts, leaving you with the Teal Mask. Kieran is stunned -- the ogre was so smol! And seemed so nonaggressive! And holy shit this mask is beautiful, except there's a chip in the big crystal! He's excited as hell to have one of his childhood dreams materialize before him. He wants to go after Ogerpon, but Carmine turns up at that moment. She has deeply internalized the ancient Kitakami legend of the Loyal Three, and when Kieran excitedly tells her you just saw the ogre, she insists it can't have been, because you and he are both not fucking dead. She and Kieran argue for a minute, long enough that once it's over, Kieran has to reluctantly admit you'll never catch up to the ogre in the dark. He tells you to hold onto the mask and you two can go ask his grandpa about it in the morning. You do, and it's Kieran who is with you when you hear the story of Ogerpon. Carmine appears at one point and is shooed off by Kieran, but overhears the majority of the story herself. Unlike Kieran, she can't believe it -- the heroic Loyal Three, actually villains?? Impossible! She realizes that if Kieran believes this story, he's likely to go chasing the ogre again, and probably get himself killed, a prospect that chills her to the bone. She ambushes you both as you leave the family home and demands that Kieran (and just Kieran, she doesn't care what YOU do) not go chasing monsters, making no effort to pretend she didn't overhear the whole damn thing. Kieran tries to correct her, but she insists you both go have a look at the final signboard, the one that reminds everyone that the ogre murders anyone it comes across without a mask on. You go, but discuss with Kieran how the story doesn't make any sense compared to the ogre you both saw and the story Kieran's grandpa told you. You go back mutually determined to get Ogerpon's mask back to her after gramps fixes it.

You go off to the community center and Kieran goes home. Something he says at home will alert Carmine to your resolve, and that kicks off the next event. Carmine demands you meet her at Loyalty Plaza, where she makes an impassioned plea to her brother not to be fooled into getting himself murderated. He tries to explain that she's still got the wrong impression and she blows up on him, refusing to listen to reason (he almost certainly points out that Gramps has no reason to lie to his own grandkids, for example). Truth is, she's afraid, afraid for his life, and that's making her act irrationally.

And then a thought occurs to her, a thought that marks a huge turning point in this scenario. It's you. You are making her brother act this way. You are the reason he's doing these insane things. She accuses you directly of manipulating her family. Kieran protests, but she's convinced.

Now, in canon, I am convinced that the venom in Kieran's thoughts is what somehow channeled Pecharunt's energy (or some variant thereof) into the Lousy Three's grave and brought them back to life. In this scenario, imagine the same, only it's the poison of fear which is rapidly spreading through Carmine. Her fear is being expressed as anger, but it's still fear, and it's consuming her rapidly. Before either sibling can argue further, the grave splits open, and the Three emerge. No one knows quite what is happening, so no one can really react effectively as they take off to Kitakami Hall. It's only as they're already receding into the distance that Carmine realizes they must be the Three.

You and the siblings rush to the Hall to hear the news of the Three's arrival and retrieving of the other masks before going up the mountain. Kieran starts to rush after them, but suddenly Carmine blocks the way. She is going to save him from himself if it's the last thing she does. You battle her and defeat her, and the idea that you are the cause of all this etches itself that much deeper. She has no choice but to step aside, but you can feel her furious eyes on your back as you run to save Ogerpon.

Poor little ogre is getting the shit kicked out of her and you save her, driving off the Three. She is nervous around Kieran because he smells like a local and therefore Dangerous, but while a little hurt, he is not crushed by this. You take her back to the town (she refuses to enter of course) and consult with Kieran's grandpa. He promises to fix the Teal Mask for Ogerpon if you and Kieran go get a crystal from the Crystal Pool to replace the chipped one, and suggests you and Kieran go pound the shit out of the Three to get Ogerpon's other masks back. Carmine is sulking at home and overhears the conversation. You and Kieran go to the Pool with Ogerpon shadowing you, but Carmine blocks your way at the top, angry at Kieran too now for bringing an outsider to this sacred place. The standoff is broken by Briar also appearing at the summit, distracting Carmine. Kieran slips past her and you stop her from following with a battle. Ogerpon stays near you, and her presence only serves to enrage Carmine more. Kieran retrieves a crystal cluster during the battle and you both bolt back down the mountain to give it to Gramps, leaving Carmine fuming. He begins to work on the mask and you turn your attention to finding the Three.

You find the Three with Kieran's help and return the shit kicking they gave Ogerpon threefold, retrieving her masks. Ogerpon becomes more comfortable around Kieran as you go. You return to the town only to discover Carmine stole the Teal Mask after Gramps fixed it and left Kieran a message telling him to come to the Dreaded Den. Gramps notes that she spoke with him about the story of Ogerpon before she left and seems to be disturbed by how the ogre has acted since the whole mess began -- Kieran guesses her good sense is starting to win out over her fear. You go back to the Den with Kieran and Ogerpon and find Carmine there. Kieran confronts her, finally convincing her that the story of the Loyal Three was indeed wrong, and she's been wrong about Ogerpon the whole time (probably aided by Ogerpon with her sweet lil face staring like a sad puppy at her).

Carmine finally accepts the truth of the matter, and apologizes to him and Ogerpon.

But there's one thing she hasn't let go of. She hasn't forgiven you. And Kieran doesn't realize that she's still hung up on that part because, while he's a lot more emotionally stable in this scenario, he's still pretty oblivious to subtle emotional cues from other people. When Carmine walks away from the Den, it's with a venom-filled look in your direction. Insert Heart's If Looks Could Kill here.

Inevitably, Ogerpon wants you as her human, because you're the damn hero. This version of Kieran is disappointed, but not shattered by this. He's spent a lot of time over the last couple days with you and the little cutie, and he's had time to get used to the idea. It's Ogerpon's decision where she wants to go, and he lets go of the long cherished dream with regret, but nothing worse. He does ask to have a battle with you and her in the morning, after which Briar calls to tell you to get your asses to the community center to finish the actual school trip thingy you'd probably forgotten all about. Kieran also tells you that Carmine has holed up in her room and won't talk to anyone.

You know more or less how this ends, with Briar yoinking the Kitakami sibs back to Unova to prepare for some globetrotting and the antagonistic sibling swearing to get stronger so they can kick your ass. In this case it's Carmine, and boy does she hate you right now. In the end, Kieran came to no harm, and Ogerpon was not a monster, but it doesn't really matter, because rationality went out the window for her where you're concerned a while ago. She's going to get stronger, and she's going to hand you your ass for humiliating her so often, and she's got a great idea for making that happen...

Oh no, what will be wrong with Aneira that Randall would feel that he needed to ask for Arceus' help?

My current canon (could change in either small ways or big ways) is that she's a preemie.

I'll just put a disclaimer here that any time I talk about Aneira, as I will be here, I'll be keeping spoilers to a minimum, and will avoid important spoilers altogether. (The only element I see being an offensive spoiler is Momo and Midas' adult appearances or maybe their adult lifestyles, and I'm not sure how much people would be offended by that. X3)

I don't know when I'll get to the point of actually telling Aneira's story, so I'll say that this will contain spoilers in that regard, should I ever officially tell it. (More likely though, she'll be a "future child shenanigans" character.)

This got pretty long, so I'll put a Keep Reading bar just to declutter lol.

Aneira will be born sometime after Midas and Momo have grown up, and all three Linden children have started on their own individual paths. They'll be close still, and within telepathy range, but they'll end up with their own driving motives that lead them apart physically.

Feeling a bit of empty nest syndrome, Randy and Akoya decide to try for another kit. But this one doesn't go as smoothly as the twins did. Akoya never gets that feeling of her energy changing to support the little one, which in my world happens very early on and is the first sign of Mew pregnancy.

Without that first confirmation, Akoya is surprised when she starts experiencing other pregnancy symptoms. They go through the means necessary to confirm that yes, she is pregnant. But she never fully believes or accepts it, or wonders if the baby is alive. (Schrodinger's cat lol). Or fearing what the lack of Psychic connection might mean for the child. Or even wondering if she had missed the feeling somehow.

With these worries causing Akoya a lot of stress, she goes into labor too early.

I haven't yet decided the scope of the issues Aneira has, but it's very strenuous on her parents and siblings. (Midas especially will be a big help.)

Hello and welcome to Day 26 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies"

I still feel awful 😷

Today, I wanna present to you a kind of long idea that I had a while back. It's a Lout of the Count's Family and Pokemon (Crossover-ish?) idea.

It titled it:

"Into the Unknown: Cale Henituse's new life as a Pokemon Trainer"

The idea centers around the original! Cale Henituse, rather than KRS! Cale. And it's really long - both as in "explaining the idea" long, as well as series of book long because I have prepared Cale's Pokemon Teams for 8 Regions, but story wise I only have about 5 or 6 planned.

Basically, imagine that the Sealed God got wind that Cale's existence (together with Raon's, Ohn, and Hong's) will be his downfall from some Hunter that just wanted to cause chaos around. The Sealed God gets into his head to kill the 4 entities that would pose the most problems to his plans, but the God of Death intercepts the spells send towards Cale, Raon (not named yet), Ohn and Hong and instead of killing them, the spell send the four into another dimension - the Pokemon Dimension. (Arceus basically becomes father to a new child and grandfather to his new three grandchildren)

Cale Henituse is 17 here, Raon is 3 years old, and Ohn and Hong are 9 and 7, respectively.

The four appear in Kalos, near the place that Professor Sycamore was exploring. All of them are unconscious and injured - Cale has more negligible injuries, but Raon, Ohn, and Hong are malnourished and have big injuries.

Sycamore takes them back to his lab and nurses them back to health. Cale is the first one to wake up, and he is very much weary of everything and everyone around him. Professor Sycamore is the one who explains what this world is and that people coming from different worlds are somewhat common here. Although speaking and understanding what others say comes relatively easy for Cale, reading and writing are not as easy. Professor Sycamore takes upon himself to teach Cale how to read and write the alphabet of this world - and basically adopts him as well. (Sycamore already has a child, why not two?)

While Cale is fascinated with the creatures known as Pokemon, Ohn and Hong wake up. They are very much scared of everything and everyone around. The one that calms them down is Cale because he speaks to them in the language of their original world, which is way easier for them to understand.

When Sycamore mentions that there is another one left to wake up, Cale asks who. When Cale sees the baby black dragon, he is very much horrified. His mother, Jour Thames, always said that dragons are creatures that should never be bound, nor treated with disrespect. She taught Cale whatever she knew about these powerful creatures, so when Cale sees the harness on the small black dragon, he immediately tells Sycamore they should remove it since it is actually harming the dragon, rather than helping him or being a normal occurrence for such a creature - like Sycamore thought. (Cut him some slack; Sycamore didn't know if the harness is akin to clothes for humans since different worlds mean different costoms)

Turns out that the little dragon has some severe wounds around his wings, so he shouldn't try to fly anytime soon before he heals. Cale is somewhat worried about that, but the fact that he is in seemingly another world takes precedence in his mind at the moment.

Cale, even after Raon wakes up, still finds no way of getting back to his world. The only clue he has for getting back is the fact that "Legendary Pokemon" - as Sycamore calls them - exist and that they have powers beyond the imagination of humans.

While staying with Sycamore, Cale helps with things such as feeding the Pokemon under Sycamore's care or arranging some files with Alain, Sycamore's adoptive son. (Alain proves to be very much like his father and takes a liking to Cale very quickly, declaring Cale - at least in his mind - his younger brother.) This is how Cale meets an injured Absol with whom he connects during the months he spends at the lab.

The turning point in Cale's stay at the lab is when Sycamore's Garchomp - who is gentle and caring - suddenly turns aggressive. Cale notices there is something attached to her neck, so he and Absol, who wants to help, give chase to Grachomp. Unbeknownst to them, the little black dragon, despite his wing injuries, follows them. The chase stops at the top of Lumiose Tower, where not only do they realize they have a small injured dragon following them, but also Cale has his first taste of a Pokemon Battle together with Absol. Absol's Iron Tail manages to shatter whatever is on Grachomp's neck, and everything seems fine, but the black dragon falls off the tower when the small part of structure he is standing on crumbles. Cale dives after him, knowing that the dragon's wings were injured and they are saved by a Mega Blaziken.

Once this ordeal is over, Cale decides he should try and find a way back to his world. His best bet at the moment is going on a Pokemon journey and trying to find one of the Legendary Pokemon to ask for help. The black dragon is interested in Cale since he is not like all the other humans he has met and decides to follow him around. Ohn and Hong are also quite attached to Cale at this point, and they want to follow.

Cale's Pokemon Partner ends up being Absol, who likes Cale a lot and wants to help him.

And so Cale's adventure in Kalos begins. And many more adventures will follow.

Other things to note:

I have Kalos planned out from what is going to happen to Cale's entire pokemon team. The same goes for like the next 5 or so regions.

In Kalos, Cale will have two companions who remind him of Amiru and Eric. I haven't decided on a name for them yet, but I do know I wanna make them siblings. I want the girl to have a Pachirisu as a Pokemon Partner, while her brother has a Corphish.

Cale's Team for Kalos will be: Absol (who will mega evolve); Fletchling -> Talonflame (1st Pokemon caught); Honedge -> Aegislash (reminds Cale a lot of Beacrox; Caught when Cale explores the Parfum Palace); Croagunk -> Toxicroack (Remind Cale of Ron; saved Cale at one point in the story and decided to go with him cause and I quote "the kid needs protection since he ends up hurt all the time"); Slowpoke -> Slowbro (Slowpoke caught himself when Cale was at Azure Bay and helped move the Slowpoke away from the crowd; loves to lay on Cale's head and nap); Mareep -> Ampharos (caught around Route 12; evolves from Flaffy to Ampharos during the Team Flare take over of the Power Plant)

In this au, the gym leaders of Kalos have a small little test to dwindle the numbers of challengers they get at once. Viola will put kids to take pictures of some bug Pokemon without telling them that said Pokemon are very skittish and don't like loud noises all that much; Grant will make them climb up a wall till they get to its highest point (where the battle platform is) and he will battle them in the order they arrive there; etc.

I am throwing the Pokemon canon into the trash can here. There will be characters that shouldn't be as young as they are here. The reason I am doing this is because I like giving Cale tons of unhinged children to look after.

After Kalos, Cale becomes a researcher assistant and helps Sycamore and Alain with their work. Because of this, Cale is sent to other regions pretty often.

After Kalos, Cale goes to Hoenn, accompanied by Raon, Ohn, Hong and Absol only. There, he will travel the region with Steven Stone, a 16 years old teenager. Steven pretty much loves Cale like a younger brother, and he is kinda unhinged should Cale ever be hurt. In Hoenn, Cale is introduced for the 1st time to Pokemon Contests and participates in them, too. He goes so far as to get into the Grand Festival.

After Hoenn comes Unova, where Cale meets Steven again (Steven basically tricked his father into agreeing with him and letting him leave Hoenn). Cale and Steven also meet the mysterious N, a 15 years old teenager, with whom they end up traveling around. In Unova, Cale is chosen by Reshiram, while N is chosen by Zekrom. The main reason is that during this specific journey, Cale starts accepting that there might not be any way for him to go home - accepting the truth of his situation.

After Unova, Cale goes to Alola to teach at the Pokemon School with Professor Kukui. This was mainly something planned by Sycamore as a way for Cale to relax and not have to get into dangerous situations. Alain is also a helping as a teacher for Professor Rowan's summer camp in Sinnoh at the same time. During this journey, Cale will meet both new and old friends as he is trying to teach the kids at the school about pokemon. They even have a school trip to Hoenn for the Wallace Contest, a pokemon contest that Cale was invited to perform as the opening act of the 3-day-long contest.

After Alola, Cale goes to Sinnoh. Here, he will travel around with Riley and frequently meet with Reggie, a Pokemon Trainer who wants to challenge the Sinnoh League and his younger brother Paul, who is a year shy of getting his own pokemon starter. Cale and the others will have to deal with Team Galactic and their nefarious plans as well as Cale's own fears and doubts about his new life in this world.

Next up, we have Kanto where Cale re-encounters Reggie, who is setting his eyes on the Battle Frontier this time around. Reggie is accompanied by his little brother Paul, who just became a Pokemon Trainer not too long ago and chose Turtwig as his starter. Paul ends up admiring Cale a lot during the journey, while Reggie struggles with whether he wants to continue as a Pokemon Trainer or become a Pokemon Breeder. Cale, on the other hand, has his hand full with some of the revelations from his journey through Sinnoh, as well as the knowledge that a god wants him dead.

Cale got a necklace from his mother when he was young. The necklace was made from an unknown stone that no one in his world could identify. Lo and behold, that necklace was a Key Stone for Mega Evolution. How did Jour get her hands on that? Cale doesn't know yet.

I am very tempted to have Chou Jung Soo and Kim Rok Soo just plop into the Pokemon World at one point and Cale to have to take care of these two. Meanwhile, Lee Soo Hyuk has already reincarnated in the Pokemon World as Sui Khan, a trainer from Hoenn. His first meeting with Cale doesn't go all that well, and they both start on the wrong foot with each other. They do become friends later, tho.

Having Raon, Ohn, and Hong have a more... war-free experience would be good in my eyes. Let the children be children, if not in the canon, then at least here. Just let them enjoy going around the regions with Cale.

Alain is also like Cale. He is someone who appeared as a child from another world. The world in question was KRS's world, and Alain was pretty heavily traumatized by all that went down there. So Sycamore has a lot of hard won experience on how to deal with traumatized children - and he uses it to help Cale too because the kid might not be traumatized like Alain was, but he still shows signs of trauma at the beginning.

I headcannon that Og! Cale learned how to cook from Beacrox when he was little. He is now the resident cook every time he explores a region with other companions.

Trust me, the Sealed God will get his ass handed to him by Cale in the future. As a matter of fact, Cale does grow up during his travels: he is 17 when he goes through Kalos; 18 during Hoenn; turns 19 during Unova; 20 when he teaches in Alola; turns 21 during Sinnoh and is almost 22 when he is in Kanto.

Everything happened because a Hunter wanted to cause as much chaos as possible.

Raon learns to mimic dragon-type moves in this AU. Ohn and Hong also train to be strong too. They just don't get as many opportunities to show off at the moment.

To me, Og! Cale is a cinnamon roll that someone dropped in bitter coffee and forgot about. Which translates to "I wanna cherish him and wrap him in bubble wrap."

And this is about everything I have for this one.

"Arceus was isolated in the God Realm at the time, they knew not of this and when they found out it sent them into a rage. Because of those two giving life to new deities, their title was no longer 'The Creator' that belonged to Xerenas and Yveltal. Instead of accepting this, it chose to wage war on the other gods, and well That was the start of the deity war." Journey quickly butted in at the mention of Arceus, "Seer, you're telling it all wrong! That's not what happened!" They huffed. "I should know because I was actually there, unlike your dumb nerd books and mom."

"The Deity War was a dumb war between BOTH the gods and the mortals!! It was the gods and their magic users! Arceus only asked me to create the portals because of that! You know!"

"So they ordered a meeting between the major deities, them, and me of course. Because I'm way more special to them than both the mew and... whatever their name was. I got to watch the whole thing!"

"I think I did too good of a job because after I showed them..."

"Guess they didn't need me anymore..." Journey's smile quickly shifted into an annoyed look. "I dunno why! I was like the best demi-deity any god could ask for! I always did what Arceus told me, I always created what they wanted me to. I was perfect! Ugh." They crossed their arms. "Sometimes I wanna go back to the God Realm, but Lunala said I live here now because... 'Your god didn't actually care about you Journey, Blah blah blah!' Yeah, yeah! Sure. If they didn't care why was I super important to them! Hm!?" Sirius gave the Hoopa a look of pity and concern, they didn't seem to care or notice.

→ Journey appears to hold Arceus in high regards? For some reason?

//this is written in first person just because I'm most comfortable with it. This is ooc!!

Why had they acted so strangely while we visited here last? Why had they been so insistent that their Pokémon stay inside its ball? Why here? Why only here? Their face. It seemed strange. The way they looked at me seemed strange… What was wrong? I wish they told me.

There was talk of a phenomenon here. A strange one. Something to do with the breakthrough of space and time. I assumed something like the time machine back in Paldea? However, nothing seemed off about this place. The Pokémon were all normal, for Unova’s standards. Nothing was off. Not a single thing.

Well, except for the vibe.

The look of sorrow I saw on their face. It was still engraved in my mind. They smiled at me, but I knew it wasn’t genuine. I knew it wasn’t. It couldn’t have been They felt guilty. Why did they? I don’t know. I wish I knew. I wish they could have just told me.

This time I went alone. I brought their Pokémon with me. Maybe that was wrong of me, but I swear it was only for a short while. I was giving it back, of course. Who was I to rob my best friend?

I walked along the edge of the Crystal Pool and examined the Tera stones shimmering in the moonlight. I approached the water, that strange Pokémon walking beside me, and watched in awe as a purple mist started to fill the air. It seemed to sparkle as well, much like everything else in this area. It had a theme, I suppose…

The fog only grew, eventually encapsulating the lake in a thick, lavender cloud. I clutched the strap of my backpack, preparing to throw it off and grab hold of one of my Pokéballs if need be. I let out an anxious sigh, full of regret, questioning myself on why I chose to venture back to this place. Why did I do this? What purpose did I have here? I felt my hands begin to shake. I felt as though I might even die here…

It was then I saw a figure. A shadow of someone seemed to appear right in the corner of my eye. Dear Arceus. This is the end, isn’t it? I gritted my teeth and hesitantly turned my head to face whoever, or whatever, had materialized in front of me.

Their face was surrounded by smoke. I couldn't make out anything about them. I took a step closer with hopes to uncover the identity of what I presumed to be a stranger. I examined the blur, beginning to recognize their features. I concluded that they were dressed in white, and purple. I took yet another step, this time with more confidence.

Perhaps I shouldn't have.

My eyes grew wide as the mist blew past their face, unveiling it. I saw two brown eyes staring back at me. They were fixed on top of a pale face with an ashy-brown beard. A face I knew far too well.

My…dad.

He only looked at me. No words were exchanged at all. I can only assume he didn't recognize me... I don't know if that made things better or worse…

Almost immediately, I felt the tears rush down my face, quickly having turned it deeply red and swollen. Through teary eyes I watched as my father approached me.

“Are you al-” He began to speak. I heard the hint of concern in his voice, but his words only hurt me. His voice. I couldn't bear to hear it. My head began rapidly spinning. My thoughts were racing. They were conflicting. They were painful. My father. Here. Is this good? Is this bad? Do I want to hug him, or tell him off? I couldn't decide. I couldn't. I can’t.

Before he could finish his sentence, I grabbed hold of my friend’s Pokémon and ran through the cloud. I ran as fast as I could, as far as I could.

I didn’t look back.

I couldn't bring myself to.

And I don’t know if I regret it.
