Don't make fun of any accents, ever, for any reason.

The person on the receiving end will most likely fall in at least one of three categories:

Second language

Regional accent

Speech impediment

1. Second language

This person is probably speaking in this language to you because either you don't speak their mother tongue or you speak it worse than they speak the language you are speaking. They are making an effort for you. An accent doesn't make you dumb.

Making fun of someone for attempting to communicate in another language is the height of assholery.

2. Regional accent

Half the time you make fun of regional accents, you make fun of historically disenfranchised accents.

Southern accents? Congrats you're making fun of the way rural, usually poor, people speak. Their speech was highly influenced by black people.

Don't even get me started on making fun of AAE.

Again, an accent doesn't make you any less intelligent.

3. Speech impediment

They know they have a speech impediment. They are probably trying very hard not to sound like that. It is literally not their fault. They have had to deal with people making fun of it their whole life.

All while, lets be real, when you look in beneath the surface of this firm, much like Terry himself is, it's probably entirely identical to what it's always been; corrupt, hiding a hell of a lot of secrets and with a bunch of skeletons in the closet, except, this time around, it's equipped with a shinier exterior that isn't as likely to get Mr. Silver booed by protestors. How can he be booed? When he's running the most ethically green company far and wide? He undoubtedly won awards and accolades for it too in the last few decades. His name gets brought up at the World Economic forum whenever green energy is mentioned.

I have never in my life had to pay to see my doctor, a visit to the GP has never cost me a cent, I have always been able to get a Drs note for work, or catch an illness before it got too bad, I've always just been able to go in whenever I needed to without having to worry about being able to afford it

now for the first time in my 28 years of life GP offices are starting to charge people for appointments

what a fucking phenomenal step backwards we have taken in our healthcare system

now I'll have to pay money not only to get my medication, but to even have my script renewed

we were supposed to be moving forward with healthcare, we were supposed to be making advancements, not sliding back down into the fucking capitalism ditch

I was hoping one day I wouldn't have to spend so much money on physiotherapy just to live without pain, I was hoping the healthcare system would fix it's holes in support for ongoing care for chronic conditions

and INSTEAD I am now being told that soon I will have to PAY just to go see my doctor, I got FIVE free physio appointments per year, FIVE, which is a JOKE, and now I have to PAY to have access to those, WHY AM I PAYING MORE MONEY
