Dean is such a paradox for me because on the one hand, I have been actively triggered by him in the show, there are moments where, intentionally or not, the writers managed to create a portrayal of manipulation and abuse and control issues that it sets off actual alarms for me. And on the other hand, I would not have him any other way. There is something — not comforting, that’s too soft a word — about knowing where Dean’s actions stem from, having seen and learned all that we do about his childhood neglect and parentification and the trauma he goes through repeatedly in the show, and that he doesn’t come out clean. He comes out a goddamn mess who ends up hurting the people around him in reaction to his own pain!
There’s a reality there that’s. Almost nice, actually. Distressing to watch, but it is a fucking mess, it’s a good mess! He’s got zero healthy coping skills and a healthy relationship with say, his brother, is terrifying because it leaves him open to abandonment!
I’m not sure I’m wording this correctly. There is a way to be a good abuse victim. Take the pain, martyr yourself on it, and then, even if you have no support or idea how to, then you have to become a Good Person who never hurts anyone the way you have been learning to your entire life. Simply toss everything that shaped you out the door and emerge a saint with a tragic backstory. And Dean is not that. And that’s so fucking good. Everything that he has gone through continues to effect the way he treats the people around him, and he can’t fight the behaviors he might recognize as harmful because he also sees them as protecting him (or protecting Sam by keeping Sam with him.)
And sometimes, idk. It feels good to see a guy who didn’t heal the “right way.” Who mostly didn’t heal at all, just keeps the wound open because it’s easier that way.

okay so.... I dunno how much of this was a thing or just another part of the fandom on this part of Megatron asking Hot Rod to join his revolution in Rodion(?) but Hot Rod declined it and did his own thing.
This is all a very rough idea and perhaps full of gaps that anyone call fill but how about give it a twist for Tfp Decepticon Rodimus/Hot Rod:
Rodimus/Hot Rod did join the Decepticons in the beginning when Megatron asked him and things were going pretty good in the first round of time. But then things started going south after completing their original goal.
Could be when Megatron and the rest of the chosen crew that were going after Optimus is when Rodimus/Hot Rod made his leave and joined the Autobots.
or maybe it was when he listened to one of Optimus' speeches that gave some thought and pushed him forward to leave the Decepticons.
(another thing I would like to point out is that decepticon hot rod might have had either the same color scheme as purple rodimus or cyberverse hot rod when he went through that darker shade of his original scheme, maybe)
I too have no idea how much is fanon/canon!
But, for tfp, considering what I know of both of their backstories (mtmte for Roddie and aligned for Megatron), I exactly see the opportunity here
As far as color palette I like to think Roddie had his LL blueberry emo colors, the blues/blacks/purples look so good on him.
I can totally see Roddie realizing that "oh fuck, Megatron is doing some heinous shit to fuck with his ex" , and deciding it's a good bet to leave. Interesting that he's a decepticon who defected in the beginning, that's gotta lead to cool consequences
Wait idea
It was Roddie getting saved once by Optimus or another that made him rethink things, a la tfp Breakdown style (except unlike Breakdown, Roddie successfully ended up defecting to the autobots)

Okay I feel like this has Definitely been done before but
I really want an investigations style game staring Bobby Fulbright (the real one not the sus one) that takes place on the side of Apollo Justice
It stars it’s own story while there’s hits and tidbits to Apollo Justice as you progress
Not an investigations game in general but like one stylized after it, where it keeps a lot of core mechanics like walking around with a map to investigate instead of point n click, but there’s new mechanics as well like, I don’t know the “Sense of Justice” game mechanic i dunno
Okay but seriously the Sense of Justice mechanic actually sounds like a neat idea though, like it’s like a meter that charges with time and how well you’re doing, and the more charged it is the more powerful Bobby is or something? Like it could making finding specific clue’s easier or give you access to areas you didn’t before, or give you more confidence to deal with the A-hole witnesses
Although I might rename it to “Justice Power” or “Power of Justice” just so it doesn’t go by “SoJ” like the terlet portal fever dream that is AA6- hell might even rename it “In Justice we Trust” like the Mf-ing catchphrase itself
Maybe you could even physically fight bad guys/j (…/hj cause that would actually be interesting even if it’s a fucking Ace Attorney game)
Plus I can just see Bobby flashing his badge at everyone in that game like Phoenix would do in the original Ace Attorney games
