Ok so currently writing a MartyxX oneshot about meeting manatees and have this stupid thought.

X is absolutely a shit swimmer and he probably doesn’t have lots stamina and movement in the water.

So Marty decides to give the Blue boy swimming lessons so he won’t sink like a rock. It’s a sight to behold to see Megaman X wearing the most silliest floaties known to man, struggling to do a doggie paddle in the water while the fucking pirate queen is coaching him. Marty teaching her lessons seriously often teases him in the most affectionate way possible. She makes sure that X can maneuver water without looking like a fool. S

She often turns it into a series of challenges to see how far he can go.

Hey it’s cheating that you already are a flipping mermaid but hey it’s a good motivator at least-

When X gets exhausted from the lessons, Marty would carry him back to land to allow him to rest up cause fuck who knew dealing with water more or less the sea can be brutal.

After a lesson seeing how worn out he was, Marty offers him to ride on her back to get back to the ship quicker.

At first X was bashful about it, he’s not being used to be carried around more or less in the water. He didn’t want to drag her down, but Marty insists that she can deal with it. He reluctantly accepts the offer. Surprisingly Marty swam quickly despite X holding her on.

“Do I weigh anything to you mar?”

“Nah it’s like carrying a couple of rubies, besides think of as returning the favor”

“O-oh I see…it strangely feels nice”

Since then it became sort of a favorite dating activity for them, when doing underwater dates.

Since then X has gained a new level of respect for marine type reploids who have to deal with this and Marty.

There were embarrassing moments on those lessons like the one time the blue hunter was literally washed away from a wave crash. Or one of his tests she pushed him off the ship to swim back (with a life vest of course).

X always has something stuck from the sea, even after the clean ups he does. Cause no matter how much time you take to clean off Beach/Ocean shit, you find some shit there take it from my experience-

One time he literally coughed out a starfish in front of Zero, in a middle of a conversation. They remained quiet on their way to command, Signas has so many questions about the starfish being stuck on Zero’s chest and X is dying on the inside, it was an eventful Tuesday.

Despite the many struggles that the blue hunter had on those lessons, his swimming ability has since improved thanks to Marty’s lessons. Something that he is eternity grateful for…he plans to teach Marty something that he enjoys but he’s unsure what is yet…

bless you for asking 🌹 i finished it yesterday and the opinions are Brewing

my favorite female character: Cordelia. I grew so, so very attached to her during my watch - I always liked her a lot, but I wasn't hugely invested in her in BTVS either. Here, though? Favorite. Which made season four and five all the more frustrating at times, especially given what we know of the behind the scenes stuff with CC and JW T_T. But yeah, I love Cordelia. She's a fun foil for a character like Angel, and her journey with the visions - and the fact that she didn't want to give them up - was really enjoyable for me

my favorite male character: At the risk of sounding obvious, Angel? I keep trying to articulate the why of it, and it comes down to just the fact that I just... like him. Wesley from season 3 on comes very close, but in general, I tend to root for Angel more. The biggest indicator of my liking for Angel was that the second Spike came onto the scene, I was hissing like a cat like "ok vampire with a soul is ANGEL'S THING"

my favorite book/season/etc: I find it hard to choose between 2 and 3 atm. 2 had Angel's little dark spiral, which I found very fun, and season 3 had the whole "the father kills the son" arc, which was the most invested I ever was in this show

my favorite episode (if its a tv show): season 5 is fresher in my mind, so I'm going to say episode 12 of season 5, because that one has Cordelia in it - and is, thankfully, a nice send-off for her, though I'll forever be bitter she couldn't be around for the whole season (It might have made me less resentful of Spike's general presence, tho I did enjoy him regardless)

my favorite cast member: Idk much about them as people, but I'm going to say Alexis Denisof kILLED as unshaven miserable Wesley, and I was very impressed with him

my favorite ship: I hesitate between Angel x Cordelia and Wesley x Lilah. Angel x Cordy took me by surprise - I'm a diehard Bangel, and before watching ATS, the knowledge that Angel x Cordy became a thing made me a hater already. But I was surprised by how their friendship grew, and the Ship was Awakened in me when Angel was obviously deeply upset that Cordelia was still mad at him in season 2. That being said, I also think I'd have been satisfied with Angel x Cordy without the romantic element, as long as they kept the close friends/warriors for good aspect. It's the kind of ship that I feel could stay friends (unlike, say, Bangel, to refer to Spike's little 'You'll never be friends' speech", which I know you're familiar with xD), and I do like my ships with a bit more bite, no pun intended. And Wesley x Lilah was a fucking delight. Didn't see it coming, enjoyed every second of it, right down to the corpse head chopping. OH, I also enjoyed Lindsey x Darla for what it was. Lindsey in general was a fav of mine - he's just neat!

a character I’d die defending: Mmmm. No answer springs to mind, but I will say, I found myself kind of protective of Harmony in season 5 - I know she's a soulless little demon, but like, be nice to her (the fact that Spike was so dismissive of her got under my skin like BRO where's that soul of yours now)

a character I just can’t sympathize with: I desperately want to say Andrew, but we barely saw him, and that's mostly my BTVS feelings bleeding over. I'm sure there are answers among the villains, but nobody comes to mind.

a character I grew to love: Definitely Wesley. I was never too keen on him, but then, gosh. His dark side is just FASCINATING and I love him to bits.

my anti otp: unfortunately i can't say sp*ffy for ATS xD but otherwise, i don't think there's any ship on Angel I outright hate. Though Connor x Cordelia was definitely unpleasant, I don't really count it as a ship. I guess.... Angel x Nina didn't do much for me? But we barely saw them together, so, it's hard to muster any anti otp hatred. Fred x Wesley didn't do much for me (I always side-eyed them because from the start, I was convinced it would mean nothing good for Gunn), but without Fred x Wesley, you don't get Wesley x Illyria, which was the highlight of my late season 5 viewing 💙

14. An overrated book?

Ok, hear me out, but I think the Keeper of the Lost Cities series is overrated (people might not know about it). I think that the plot makes zero sense. There was a book in the series (used to be my favorite) that was almost entirely dedicated to the "main" ship. I used quotes because I don't think it's going to happen. One of the other male main characters got a significant upgrade while the previous love interest was given anger issues. I still like the previous love interest, because the reason WHY he has those anger issues makes sense for his character. But the upgrade for the new love interest makes zero sense. Also, the new love interest RAN AWAY to join the ENEMY team to "try and get information" (it pretty much failed), TRICKED the female lead into giving very important information to the ENEMY, promised he wouldn't again, and then RAN AWAY AGAIN (idk where) 4-5 books later. WHAT??? Now my ship crashed and burned while the new ship is spawning seemingly out of nowhere. People are always making fun of me because I root for the first ship; they think the first love interest sucks now--I always say that I liked him better and that it makes more sense for the plot. To me, it feels like the author originally meant for the first ship to sail, but then changed her mind after the 8th book due to popular demand (the second ship became more popular.)

I have far too many, but I'll go with this said by Nick Carroway in the Great Gatsby:

“They're a rotten crowd… you're worth the whole damn bunch put together.”

I don't know why, but this almost made me cry since I knew what was coming next. (I don't want to spoil this one--go read it!)

44. Where will the wip start?

The Isles of Blirrosia starts on the top of a building in Rosia City--the capital of Blirrosia. Saffron--main character--is waiting there until the police call her to help take down a bank robber.

Ok so i shipped satosugu and itafushi (♡♡) but now this western fans are screaming crying blah blah saying its canon when its NOT

Ok i understand about itafushi cus gege has implied it as well but nothing about satosugu has been said has it? It was just a mistranslation for godsake

All these western ppl started screaming satosugu canon after the director said some ship stuff but that SO does NOT make it official now does it?

I mean even the director of bleach has officially admitted that the anime was kinda biased and towards ichiruki than the ichihime that was later CANON by the MANGAKA himself

Im east asian and i speak and write Japanese well (its my first languag) and so i have always been reading manga first and then watching the anime. And i, as a manga reader, noticed the difference and so many things that were indeed ichiruki but thats not what im saying

Uh, yeah. So it's finally time that I came clear. I once said that I have a ship that I barely tolerate, so.... that NOTP is none other than stsg. I recently block the ship tag here in tumblr, actually. So now that I said this, stsg fans, you're very welcome to block me.

I'll put the rest of my answer under the cut in consideration for the ship fans, since this is definitely not for the fans. Don't say I didn't warn you if you're one of the fans and still continue to read and then get offended

Honestly, this is a thing that has been happening since several months ago. I don't know exactly why, but the western stsg fandom got very loud - to the point that I, who usually can tolerate many things including pairings that I don't ship, became unable to ignore it. Fans today really likes to throw words like "canon" and easily verbally attack people who don't agree.

Anyway, even if Director Park said it, it doesn't really make it actually canon. I still remember Nakata Jouji (I love the man, he's my favorite priest in Fate series), the seiyuu for Naobito, said that Naobito is Maki's father, which later written by Gege to be untrue. Ougi is Maki's actual father. So, unless Gege writes or says it directly, what other people (even staffs) can only be considered as a speculation; since it's their interpretation of the characters, just like we fans do.

It's just when related to a ship, fans always get loud. Remember viz's mistranslation "my one and only" lol? I have long thought since the volume came out that the stsg fans will take it and run with it. And this is just a personal theory, but the loudest one are the one with the smallest crumbs. Itfs is still fed today by gege so we're just content day to day, but stsg currently has nothing in the manga so they get really loud when the smallest crumb drops. It'll pass if you wait, just stay calm lol.

So my intolerance does not come from the ship itself, but from the fans, so yeah. Same, anon, same.

List of Your Ten Childhood Ships

Thanks @lizzybeth1986 for tagging me. So I’m counting childhood as “before high school” so up until spring of 1997. I am an 80s baby, who was a 90s child (and a 90s/00s teenager, but that is a list for another time).

1. Zack and Kelly, Saved by the Bell

Saved by the Bell was one of my favourite shows in my tweens and I had a big crush on Zack Morris (yeah, he was blonde but the cocky, scheming type has always had appeal). I loved Zack and Kelly together and consistently rooted for them.

2. Jake and Tiffany, California Dreams

I watched a lot of Teen NBC when I was young 😂 and of course I liked the leather-jacket, motor-cycle wearing musician and his cute blonde surfer girlfriend. I feel like Jake Summers had a major impact on my taste for the rest of my life.

3. Lir and Amalthea, The Last Unicorn

This movie broke my heart at the age of 4. I always joke that this is what made me a villain lover, because I hated how Lir being a hero meant he had to give up Amalthea and let her save the unicorns 😂.

4. Sony and Brenda, General Hospital

I grew up watching soap operas, mainly General Hospital because it is the one my grandmother and then my mom watched. While Sonny and Brenda definitely influenced my teen ships years, they also influenced the pre-teen years and ai couldn’t resist this combo. “Why settle for a spark when you can set the world on fire?”

5. Anne and Gilbert, Anne of Green Gables

I am a Canadian girl, I grew up on the Anne books and I fell in love early with the spirited Anne Shirley and the incredibly patient (but not pushy) Gilbert Blythe. I love their love story.

6. Elizabeth Wakefield and Todd Wilkins, Sweet Falley High

This one did not hold up 😂 and the series itself did a good job of murdering this ship, but when I was a kid I loved them together and the one where he comes back after moving was my favorite. I remember I even specially ordered it because our local book story didn’t have it and neither did the library.

7. Cher and Josh, Clueless

I love Clueless, it is one of my all-time favorite movies and definitely influenced pre-teen Misha. Is the step-sibling romance a little weird? Yep. But at the time, all I cared about was the chemistry and that Paul Rudd was cute.

8. Westley and Buttercup, The Princess Bride

Again, I was an 80s child. I grew up on this movie. This is what true love was. And ok, the fact that the far:boy went off and became a bad-ass pirate was pretty cool.

9. Xena and Ares, Xena Warrior Princess

This is one that also falls into “high school” ships, but I started watching the show in elementary school, so it counts. I fell in love with Ares the first time he appeared, when he was very obviously the bad guy.

10. Sabrina and Harvey, Sabrina the Teenage Witch

I just thought these two were so sweet together (see I have layers, I like sweet ships too) and I liked that the obstacle in their relationship was never their feelings, it was everything else and Harvey was just such a perfect first boyfriend.

right?? it's a masterpiece,made with passion and detail and and bdbsnksla ok in 1979 no one fucking expected the reasonable woman to be the fucking protagonist alright, also both the women are realistic in a way they were only in that period in media. none of the current girlboss in high heels and perfect full makeup ffs. and that's because initially ripley was supposed to be played by a man, and have a relationship with Lambert!!! lesbiam rights

sadly the only black man is still stereotyped tho. im feral over the everything of this movie.

this is one of the best thing i own, it follows all the production from start to release. insane.

the aesthetic of this sci fi is absolutely my fave. big chunky tech my beloved. and of course the anticapitalist message. top tier.

i watched all the sequels BUT i don't like them. mainly because they became blockbusters (coffjamescameroncoff) and lost so much of the original uniqueness.

prometheus wasn't too bad i guess but still it has issues, manly the change to the modern sleek tech. covenant is just stupid.

but i loved playing Alien Isolation tho. scared my ass off and roaming the ship was awesome exactly because they kept the same aesthetic of the original movie.

My number one kudos fic is something I wrote over 10 years ago alskdflsjkd But I am surprised at how many the selfie one has, it was just an idea I had. Didn't think it would be somewhat popular!

5. Do you respond to comments? I try to as much as possible!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Probably "Until Midnight" due to the ending, but probably also "Everything Has an End". I don't typically write angsty fics or fics with sad endings.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Most of them LOL! I'd probably say "Hey There Lovina"

8. Do you get hate on fics? I have before! Not on AO3, not that I can remember however. But if people hate a fic, that's ok! They're allowed to have that opinion and I'm not a trained writer or anything, I just write for fun.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I tend to have ideaaaaaas, but I'm not confident in that kind of writing so I probably won't ever post any of them. Making out or referencing something is the closest I usually get.

10. Do you write crossovers? I have! I don't like those that much tbh. I have one on AO3, I had two before on Fanfic.net.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? ... No?

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? So talking in general, it's probably SyaoSaku from CCS! In terms of writing it's HanaNene from TBHK.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I actually have a Mario fic that I started writing when the movie came out because I heard a song and got a great idea, and there's a HanaNene skating fic that is mostly done... A few other oneshots too.

16. What are your writing strengths? I don't know if I'm qualified to talk about my strengths lol, but I think maybe connections?

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Again, I don't know if I'm qualified to judge myself properly, but the fact that I'm just not a great writer. My vocabulary needs to expanddddd.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Listen. I wrote fics for Hetalia. I used Google Translate, used books to translate, asked people for translations, and also relied on commenters for any troubles. I don't mind if others do it just because I'm used to it from long ago, even if the translation is not quite right.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Technically technically, I used to write little ficlets for Jimmy Neutron back when Nickelodeon had forums on their site! Did I save any of them, of course not, so they are lost to time.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? "Teach Me Astronomy, Amane-kun!" I started this fic during Covid-19 and at the time I really wanted to write for TBHK because none of my friends watched/read the series and I had so many intense feelings since it became my new obsession. And because I had read so many fics that had Amane obsess over space, another obsession/hobby of mine, I wanted to combine the two to create an (somewhat) educational fic. It was really fun to tell people about an event and to hear in the comments what people saw/did. I fully intend to continue the fic and already have some drafts made up, but this one out of all my fics I desperately want to continue.

Tian Wen Music Box + Am I Beautiful?

Welcome to the third of these gorgeous music boxes and their fig toppers!

If you missed Day 1 and 2 of the Music Box Extravaganza, definitely check out Tian Ya Ke + Whirling Wenzhou and Wu Ti + Good Sword too, the artist's artistry is not to be missed. These are very special and some of my favorite merch items, hands down. I'm really, really hoping that she considers keeping going - there's a whole soundtrack, after all!

Haha, you're not going to miss THIS pic after this is over...yes my forgiving figthusiasts, this is yet the same pic from the previous two blog posts one last time! I do feel pretty comfortable saying that the red music box storage box is in fact the one belonging to Tian Wen - I mean, it's a pretty safe bet given the box itself is red - but these all arrived together and I unwrapped them all in a blaze of excitement, and I no longer remember which box went with which. I'm 99.9% sure the red goes with this one.

The moment you've all been waiting for - the White Glove Figthusiast 360 Degree Non-Surround-Sound full detail!

You'll notice that the top of the music box kind of wiggled a bit when I first started moving the box. That's because, like all boxes in this series, you wind it up by holding the top in one hand and winding the base with the bottom. The key only is used to stop the motion. It's not as fragile as I made it look - it's actually pretty sturdy when you give it a good set of turns.

The golden inscriptions are different lines from the show. As you can see, the quality is crisp and clear, and it looks beautiful in hand or on the shelf. The darker red background gives it a rich, elegant look.

Here's our beautiful key and a better closeup of the lock keyhole. All the keys in this set are the same, so you could use them interchangeably on each music box if you wanted. They don't really do much, and the music box plays just fine without them, so it would be sad but not disastrous if a key was lost.

Alright, on to the figs! So we're moving from Wenzhou with these figs to the promotional period, where Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun promoted how good this show was and how everyone should watch it, and also how cute the two of them were.

This fig set is inspired, indirectly first by this scene:

Zhou Zishu: 美吗 Měi ma (Am I beautiful?) Wen Kexing: 完美 Wánměi (Perfect)

This is Gong Jun's clever ad-lib to Zhehan's snarky ad lib, and it's so utterly delightful that it became Gong Jun's secret livestream interview challenge mission to complete. You can watch the livestream subbed in English here (part 1 and part 2) and I highly, highly recommend it.

His secret challenge mission was to say 美吗 to Zhehan, and get him to say 完美 back. The first part of the challenge, Gong Jun saying 美吗 to Zhehan, is the image the fig maker designed this fig around:

The figs were in a plastic clam-shell for shipping, but I took them out so the figs could be seen better. I love this box so much I'm actually going to keep the figs in it permanently! They're just too, yes, perfect in it.

But regardless of my personal display plans, we're here to talk about the figs, so let's kick this off!

Here we have the figs as they're meant to go, as a topper on the music box. I take all my pics by a window with natural light, so while like us, the sunshine loves Zhehan's beautiful face, it has unfortunately washed it out a bit in all that brightness. That's ok though, because you're about to see it up close and personal.

But before that, let me point out a cool feature of this set. So you know how the other figs had magnets in the bottom of their feet to keep them securely fastened to the music box? Well, these do too, but they also have magnets attached to their backsides to keep them in their chairs, like so:

This is a really nice touch to keep the whole thing as secure as possible. It helps since there are are no magnets at the end of the chair legs of course, so their feet are securely attached to the music box base, and their own selves are attached to the chairs.

Onwards with the 360 degree photo-a-thon. It's a bit harder since these figs, unlike the others, aren't stuck together, so it was me manually moving them in a circle. We'll see how well I replicated them rotating on the top of a music box:

Hmm. Maybe I should invest on one of those plug-in USB rotating lazy Susans!

May I just mention how much I love Zhehan's wiggly mouth shape here - it's wonderful. The fig maker got this pose perfectly.

Speaking of poses, take a look at the full-body detail from the livecast and compare it to the fig (sorry for my monitor's over-exposure of Zhehan's beautiful white robe).

Spot on, isn't it? If I had ever so slightly rotated Gong Jun slightly more to the right it would have been exactly right. I'm just so impressed with this fig maker - I wouldn't even know how to begin doing something like this. It seems incredibly difficult.

Leon/Ashley is the only "real" RE ship that I have, in the sense that it's the only one that I actively create and seek out content for. I'll go into the whys and hows of that a little later, but. In case anyone was curious why I go so hard for Leon/Ashley --

Actually. When I reblogged this post initially, I almost tagged it as #WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME WHY I SHIP LEON/ASHLEY #THIS IS WHY

I restrained myself because I don't like doing that to other ppl's posts, but. It's a pretty accurate representation of what drew me to the ship initially 18 years ago. Queen/Knight ships are my absolute favorite dynamic for a ship ever ever ever ever. Hands down. No contest. And what are these two -- especially in OG -- if not that?

My second favorite kind of ship? Doomed ones. Missed opportunity ones. "If only things were different" ones. "Our roles in each other's lives will never allow this to happen" ones.

And that's also them.

Real talk? I would actually like the ship way less if I thought for a second that there was a chance that Leon and Ashley could/would actually get together in canon. I'd still like it, but not nearly as much. (which is why it's really funny when people try to be like "it'll never be canon" YEAH NO SHIT I HOPE IT NEVER IS)

So I was cursed to fall super hard for this ship from day one. Like, there wasn't even a chance in hell I wasn't going to ship these two. No other two characters in this series have a dynamic that's even kind of similar to this.

And then the remake happened and it poured even more of the shit I already liked about it on top of what was already there and I was like "mmm yes it's delicious thank u capcom"

So that's my whole thing with those two.

And outside of those two? Well.

Back in the days of early RE fandom, we were so small and so starved for fan content that it was commonplace for people to read fics for ships that they didn't care about or even like lmao. I once read like 80,000 words of a Wesker/Leon fic because that was all I could fucking find that I hadn't read yet (and also wasn't weird monster dog porn -- late 90s/early 00s RE fandom was fucking weird ok).

Those early fandom days were also kind of magical, though, because so much of the canon was wide open to so many different ships and interpretations and scenarios. Like, as time has gone on and RE has grown larger and larger, the world of RE has started to feel smaller and smaller. It's way way WAY harder to write a canon-compliant fic these days, because there's so many moving parts to the story now, and a lot of details have been cemented in place that never used to be there.

Like, it's rad that the canon has so much to consume in it. But it sucks because it feels restrictive as a result.

So, like.

I have actually written fics for so many different, random ships over my 25 years in this fandom, because this fandom used to be more of like a... swap meet, sort of? Where we'd all just take requests from each other and write fics for each other and share them around -- because the fandom was so, so goddamn small back in the day.

Wesker/Ada (this one was fun, actually. I'd fuck with this one again)

Of course, there were people who were ride-or-die OTP folks (though this actually didn't get really bad or become any sort of real majority in the fandom until after RE4's release, and that's only because RE4 just dumped so much gasoline on the Aeon vs Cleon war holy fuck. RE fandom became a fuckin minefield after RE4), but a lot of us really just dabbled in a bit of everything. So I never really got like... super attached to any one ship, if that makes sense?

There is actually something very nostalgic about Leon/Claire for me, if you can believe it, because the ship was only viable until about the time of Degeneration, so we're going way back. That movie made it very clear that these two were not at all going to stay as active parts of each other's lives, so the ship basically died upon its release.

But prior to that? That was one of THE BIG SHIPS in the fandom. So, the vast majority of fics that I wrote back in the swap meet days were Leon/Claire, because the majority of my fandom friends fell more on the Cleon side of things.

Today, I don't like where their dynamic has gone in later canon. There's nothing there anymore, and I've lost all interest in it.

But... at the same time... when RE2make happened, it was something I thought about revisiting just for old time's sake. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, but I do still think about it from time to time. Maybe I'll actually go ahead and do the thing one of these days, now that I'm back in the habit of writing RE fic again.

But anyway.

The point is. Any side ships I have, I really just enjoy in passing. Like, if I see nice art of Chris/Jill or Billy/Rebecca I'll definitely reblog it because I do enjoy it, but I have never even one time gone out of my way to find it or any fics of them. Most of my contributions to side ships are thinkpieces and meta analysis.

Leon/Chris is one of the ships that I've done deep dive meta analysis for -- and half of that was just to piss off fanboys who were already mad about RE6 to begin with, because those fuckers made the fandom UNBEARABLE in the early 2010s -- but I still don't go super hard for them.

Same thing with Remake-verse Leon/Luis. I've done meta for them because people have asked me for it, and I do find their new dynamic absolutely fascinating from a literary/storytelling standpoint. They're another ship I do enjoy, but... again, mostly in passing.

So. idk if this actually answered your question. RE ships are just kind of a weird topic for me in general most of the time, because I went so, so, so long just looking at characters' individual arcs as opposed to engaging in actual ship content.

I've talked about this a little before, but I did go through that period (around 10 years) where I tried to pass it off that I had no ships in order to seem like an "objective" source for canon information (which, in hindsight, is so fucking stupid because I could've just done what I'm doing now and kept objective facts about the series/canon differentiated from my ship shit, but w/e), so in those 10 years, I didn't really engage with RE ships, like, at all.

So now I'm just kind of at the point of "dude whatever idc as long as we're all having fun."

But these days I would say that I greatly enjoy his ruthlessness as a character and gold eyes hehe. I still can't believe that guy cut off his own most likely perfectly healthy arm and removed his own also nice eye for more power. I like a lot of things.

But also I deeply enjoy my fujo brainrot so yeah, he and Hiruzen. They are 100% absolutely divorced couple that still cannot get over each other. In one HiruDan fic I read a while ago (ah I found it!!!) they were described as being too familiar with each other, which both simplified and complicated things between them, as they know too much about each other in worst and best ways.

Him and Kagami, weirdly enough, I mostly don't see as romantic in canon but I think they maybe were fucking so there is that... But I enjoy scenarios in which their bond runs deeper *eyes ruler!Danzo AUs*. I also like to think some of Danzo's complexes stemmed from Kagami, which may or may not be related to...

Tobirama, but entirely onesided. I like to think Danzo worshipper Tobirama but kept his distance, both physical and mental sense. Crush was here, but Danzo constantly denied himself even dreaming about. He's a loser like this. Maybe Tobirama's heart was somewhere else too.

And Shisui. Oh, Shisui. I like to think Shisui unknowingly awakened some of Danzo's impulses he thought to have choked down decades ago. Maybe it was because of Kagami, maybe something else. It's pretty complicated and I feel like I wrote too much already jdshfsd point is Shisui isn't in on a fun ride.

I... greatly hate the general mischaracterisation Danzo has going on in fandom bc everybody need to villanize an antagonist further for shits and giggles.

No, he didn't "punish" people just bc he felt like it. He puts great faith and trust in his people/tools, and if they fail, he chooses to believe that a) they did their best and b) as such, it was his fault as he misjudged their capabilities. It's greatly expanded in Kinoe's backstory (oh the FOOD!!! though he still did some silly shit rip) where he becomes furious only when he realizes that Kinoe was doing things of his own choosing, going against Danzo's wishes. Siiigh. Dadzo was so nice too... I think a lot about him and Tenzo *happy sigh*

Hey, it's Kinnporsche-anon !!

So I finished the last episode and I miss them already :(((( And so i need to know : will there be a season two??? Because I couldn't find anything that said it was officially confirmed or cancelled it (which I really hope they don't, the potential of a second season is too good to pass on come on)

And again so many things to say I don't know where to start!!!

Ok so maybe Porschay first. His relationship with Porsch became my second favorite thing in the serie (after Kinnporsch of course). They may not have many scenes together but whenever they do my heart explode. They just love eachother so much and are so open about it with eachother, which I have to say is pretty refreshing for a sibling relationships. Not that I don't also love snarky, you're-annoying-but-I'll-die-for-you-I-guess sibling relationships, but it feels good to also have this kind where they are not afraid to be that affectionate and it being taken seriously and not having to end up with a joke. Also, speaking of Porschay, Kim definitely earned some rights for defending this cinammon role. And in such a badass way. He's probabaly the only character who seems to really enjoyed fighting that much lol, which makes him so intriguing with so many sides of him I really would love to see more of him! Also loved to see him comfort Tankhum aaawww (I really love sibling relationship lol).

Pretty happy about how VegasPete ended up. Never thought I would find a scene where a man covered in blood asking the other to be the one to kill him if he has to die that romantic, but here we are. Good for them good for them.

But of course none of this couples take the cake from Kinnporsch. I just can't with these two, every scenes they where together felt like a marriage proposal at this point, even when they were in mortal danger shooting people. If (when;)?) they actually do end up proposing (especially if it's in the WilxElizabeth in potc way omg), I'm not sure I would survive. And I'm pretty cinical when it comes to romantic couples in medias, I often can't unsee when they are too corny or cheesy and roll my eyes, but with them they somehow always made it work? Like it always felt so natural and so adorable dam i hate them so much. But since I can't quote everyone of their moments, here are my five fave of the last three episodes :

Kinn and Porsche going to see the guy who allegedly killed his parents in the car crasch (Kinn being such a rock for Porsche and supporting him no matter what, even offering his gun, and Porsch having learn to calm himself down and instantly reaching for Kinn like my heart)

The Graveyard speech (Kinn being so desperate to show Porsche that he could trust him with whatever he was hiding and Porsche being so giddy aaaaahh)

"I'm Porsche. I'm the one you love. And the one who loves you" (shutupshutupshutup how am i suppose to love any other ships after that?)

The confrontation scene in episode 11 (look I just loved the angst and the way Porsche was so hurt and Kinn so scared of losing him and how they did end up managing to actually communicate and diffuse the situation *cheff's kiss*)

"I'm on your side". the way I sqealed in that scene!! The devotion to eachother !!!! The fighting together!!! Just everything!!!!

I also found it very intesresting that, while Kinn was fighting his way into earning the Best Boyfriend Ever Award (the way he did not hesitate to follow Porsche when Porsche wanted to leave and be so domestic with him my heart), Porsche was the one having trust issues, which was a uno reverse card from the begining and I loved that, because it defintely made sense that he would in this situation and show they both had their own struggle to work through to be together.

And the way it ended omg!!! First with all the whisplashs of plottwist and revelations (I'm definitely not believeing a word Korn said, especially since we haven't seen Porsche's pov of the flashback, which I find really sus), Tankhum getting his own time to shine too, and then PORSCHE BECOMING A MAFIA LORD!!! LIKE I KNEW IT!!! I KNEW HE WAS MEANT FOR THAT!!!! THE BUILD UP TO IT IN THE LAST EPISODE WAS SO SO SO GOOD !!!!! YOU CAN'T IMAGINE HOW HAPPY I WAS LIKE UNTIL THE LAST SECONDS I WAS THINKING "yeah no it's too good to be true he's gonna say no or something" BUT IT DIDNT HAPPEN! Like the scene when the bodyguards bow to him was EVERYTHING to me, I got Badass Mafia Boss Porsche AND Iconic Power Couple Kinnporsche!!! I honestly did not have much hope it would happen considering how much Kinn saw his responsabilies as a burden, but the fact that this was resolved into him not "running away" but getting to share his responsabilties because he learned to love and trust someone else was the best evolution ever. And Vegas being the one who got to run away (for now I guess) was very cool too. And i can already see all the angst that can follow with Korn and his LIES, who probably only gave Porsche this power because he knew it would be easier to manipulate him since he's dating Kinn and his mother is kind of held in hostage (and probably hides something else too) but you know what bring me the angst I'm just so happy that Porsche finally will be able to explore all his potential in the mafia words and to finally have some power and control over it!!! I'm so proud of him :) So yeah I REALLY need a season two now :(((

So anyway, sorry for this very long comment lol. Thank you for responding to everyone one them, I always loved reading your responses, and for having gotten me to watch this amazing show!

Ok so truly do not apologize for the long comments. I need you to know that I have had multiple people DM me saying they are super invested in your reactions and get so excited to read them, so you have literal readers. It's like reliving the show with you and I love it!

I was soooooo excited for you to finish! First re: season 2... we don't know. Nothing has been announced or confirmed. A few of the actors have referred to season 2, so it seems that it is (was?) the intent and it also seems that all the actors are game, and obviously the storyline was set up for a s2, but there continues to be no announcement. I'm guessing there are a lot of machinations happening behind the scenes regarding the rights/budget/scheduling, and that will either work out or it won't. Generally you'd want to announce a s2 while the hype is still high from the first season, so this is not the ideal way to do it. I do think they'd be insane not to continue their success with a s2, but sometimes it's the actual logistics that don't come together. Unfortunately it continues to be a wait-and-see pattern at the moment.

I love that you started with talking about the relationship between Porchay and Porsche because YES. I love them so much too. I completely agree, I love the 'I'm gonna kick your ass but only I'm allowed to because I love you' sibling relationship, but Porsche and Porchay are just so incredibly soft and loving and precious, and it suits them completely. I love that you can see the way Porsche raised Porchay in how tender and loving Porchay is. He's so open and giving with his love, and that is 100% how Porsche is with him. It's so lovely and touching to see and I would die for their relationship. It really was so effectively done, because as you said, it's not like there were an overwhelming amount of scenes with the two of them.

BAMF Kim! I love him!!! Like you, one of my fave things was the way Jeff played out that fight scene like Kim was having fun absolutely wrecking those guys. It was so incredibly unqiue to his character and so goddamn ruthless and I was here for it. I can't wait to know more about him, and especially to see his relationship with his brothers (give me Kim and Kinn scenes please for the love of god).

"Good for them good for them" This as your reaction to Vegas/ Pete absolutely killed me lmao. Yeah truly, as fucked up as they are (intentionally), it's one of those things where being fucked up together made sense as their idea of domesticity lol.

Cosign everything you said about Kinn/Porsche. As much as I had quibbles with the later quarter of the season and the rushed pace, the KP scenes we got were absolute gold. I don't have the highest tolerance for cheese either, but I'm with you, KP manage to have just the right balance between this utter romantic sincerity, the raw emotions and angst that come with falling in love so damn fast and hard, those goofy, silly, giddy qualities of new love, and the intense, desperate physical need for one another. It works sooooo well.

I love the moments you listed. That car scene with them, with Kinn just being there for Porsche and Porsche leaning on him for support and comfort is so near and dear to my heart. I could go on and on about each moment you mentioned but I'll try to restrain myself and just say that I really loved the ep 12 confrontation too. I rewatched that scene a lot. I just love how betrayed and angry Porsche is and how unbelievably scared Kinn is, terrified to lose Porsche. And Apo with the subtle play of emotions across his face as he realizes Kinn truly doesn't know the reason Porsche was brought into the fold... it's just *chefs kiss*.

It was an interesting reversal that Kinn had completely given himself over to the relationship, devoted himself to Porsche, and finally trusted him completely... and Porsche, who had constantly accused Kinn of not trusting him, was the one betraying that trust. I wanted to smack Porsche around multiple times for it but I also couldn't deny it made sense for his character and the storyline. The ongoing trust issues are not something I want to see continue if we get a s2, but I appreciated how that was a core theme shaped by each of their actions throughout the season.

You got your Mafia boss Porsche! I know!!! In all your previous messages I was like... omg, I can't wait for them to watch the finale lolol. Like, you so had that conslusion nailed. I love how you put it too, talking about Kinn not running from his world or responsibilities and obligations to his family, but sharing that burden instead with the only person he truly trusts. Obviously if there is a s2 it's not going to be all hunky dory and there are going to be huge conflicts (spurred on by Korn's actions no doubt) but I do love how they solidified the equal partnership betweeen Porsche and Kinn in their actual roles within the mafia world. Their relationship was always established with an equality that normally wouldn't have been there in a relationship between boss and subordinate. But thanks to Porsche's shameless lack of respect for Kinn's authority (lolol) and the way he treated Kinn as a man first from the very beginning, we got to see them fall in love in a way that allowed the power dynamic to inform actions, but not prevent them from seeing one another just as they are, as equals in every way. But with that said, it was important to establish that in the literal power structure of their world and I'm glad we got it.

More thoughts from an Alicent fan: I feel like a lot of problems within the fan base of both GoT and HotD come from the need to pit women against each other. So many Sansa fans hate Dany and vice versa but I don’t think they really organically hate these characters, I think they just take it on as a part of loving one female character, that she has to have a hated female counterpart. I can’t think of a single major female character I truly hate from either series. I was never a big Ygritte or Mysaria fan but I don’t hate them. Dany is my all time favorite character and I relate to her so much and other fans have assumed I must hate Sansa when really the two of them have a lot of parallels in their narratives and the fact that the show didn’t explore that pisses me off. Likewise people will assume I don’t like Rhaenyra just because I like Alicent. It’s silly. Rhaenyra deserves the throne and I love her! I think some fans just like to have conflict and they like to be opposed to something so they’ll always find reasons to hate once they’ve “picked a side.”

Hello anon! I will answer your ask after ages, sorry.

So, I feel that my point of view is relevant in this discussion since I initially was a Sansa Stan, before even watching GoT, when it first aired. Yeah. So in short, everybody started watching GoT all of the sudden, I wasn't really into a lot of TV shows at the time, mainly books and cinema, and I was sick of all the buzz. Part of the buzz was all of my friends saying I HATE SANSA GOD I HATE HER SO MUUUUUUCH all the time all around. When I asked guys wtf did Sansa do and you hate her so fucking much, they were all like SHE'S WHINING AND SNIVELLING ALL THE TIME AND SHE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING USEFUL SHE'S ANNOYING AF AND ARYA IS SO COOOL BLABLABLABLA yeah noise in my ears basically. Then I realised that this girl actually didn't do anything that bad it's just that she was a spoiled little girl being annoying at her sister and that's literally it. This was a story about literal monsters and everybody was literally bitching about Sansa. Literally. So I became her stan purely out of reaction at how unfairly she was treated by the fandom initially. Of course later on I actually became invested in ASOIAF and GOT and my interest in Sansa diminished, I saw how stupidly the writers treated her and Arya's arc, it literally didn't make any sense, Arya was indeed almost destroyed just to make Sansa be more important than she needed to be. That's a fact.

So fact number one, people did in fact hate Sansa from the start. There was actual hate there since the beginning. I remember it in my circle of friends and I wasn't in any internet fandom at the time thank god.

Fact number two, the arc that the show adopted gave birth to deranged Sansa stans on the basis of a huge mischaracterisation of Sansa. She was given the arc of other characters, she was made the perfect victim of abuse, again and again, and then she was given a ruling arc, then the joke of a ship that is Jonsa appeared and the combination of all these things plus the internalised misogyny of all parts involved completely ruined the fandom I think. Sansa stans hated Dany because she got in the way of their ship and she was also pretty and hot plus powerful, which Sansa wasn't, Dany and Arya stans hated Sansa because they were sick of the mischaracterisation and stupid script, and it all went downhill.

It's the writing of the show that caused this, mainly, by creating a conflict that shouldn't exist and is downright stupid. There should be no conflict between Sansa and Dany, none, zero. The North shouldn't be represented by Sansa, it should be represented by Jon Bran or Arya, they should have had the conflict with Dany, not Sansa. It's Arya's storyline that strongly parallels Dany, not Sansa. Sure ok both were raped, but I vehemently REFUSE to see women characters as just victims of abuse. Just because two women were victims of abuse doesn't mean they have things in common. Being victims is not all there is to these characters. Arya had the same experience as Dany (fugitive, restless, passionate with justice, anti conformist, challenging males, seeking home plus their identity crisis) all these things make them similar that's why a conflict-alliance-any sort of contact between them could have been very interesting. Instead we got this stupidity that was season 7 and 8.

Frankly this never-ending war between Sansa stans and Dany stans is extremely exhausting to me. But I understand it because that's what being in a fandom does to you. Now that I am in HOTD fandom I am immerged in it and I get it. Of course I am not objective, I love Dany, I love Sansa, but I don't believe she should be Queen in the North. I don't have a problem with Sansa but her stans are in fact deranged. They are deranged because they can be, because the plot gave them enough ground to work on. Ironically, I would have loved Sansa much more if I never came in contact with her stans. Same with Alicent.

TL;DR: Conflicts between female characters are inevitable, and necessary, when their interests are diametrically opposed. Alicent and Rhaenyra are enemies and should be enemies. Yes you can sympathize with both, but that doesn't stop you from picking a side. You can pick the side of the Blacks and sympathise with Alicent. Sansa and Dany conflict shouldn't even exist, it's not like Alicent and Rhaenyra's case. The writers created that conflict and divided the fandom for nothing. In both cases, a great deal of the hate is actually a reaction to the deranged stans, not the characters themselves.

In any case anon, if you can avoid the fandom war, DO IT. It's better. Sympathise with any person you want, nobody can say that just because you love one character you can't love the other. That's stupid.

did frozen 2 ruin your perception of frozen overall? and what about "once upon a time"? you used to post about the tv series, but now not - it's because it had ended? as for frozen, there is still a book coming up soon. don't remember the exact day.

Frozen 2 absolutely ruined everything for me.

I used to like how Elsa was the bigger sister in a position of power and Anna was the younger one, supporting and helping Elsa. I liked this balance. I loved Elsa as Queen, among all the Disney princesses. Now we have Anna who is a copy of what Elsa was, and Elsa who is...whatever she is now.

I liked them together, obviously, because living under the same roof meant they were always ready for an adventure, a moment together, or even just a talk by the fireplace.

I liked Kristoff as a friend for both, as a potential love interest for Anna, ok, but nothing too explicit or serious.

I liked Olaf when he was less annoying and less "mature".

I like eveything of the franchise up to the opening credits of Frozen 2, yes.

OUAT was my biggest ship ever (Swan Queen), and I loved it until the penultimate season. It's a show that could have been amazing, but the heternormativity ruined it. When Emma married Hook, all the potential just died there. And I believe the same will happen with KA in Frozen. I'm not surprised the fans of these 2 couples are often the same. Shallow romances are not for me.

One thing that ruined OUAT for me along with the heterosexual forced couple, was the change of role of Regina in the last season. She was cursed in another land and became a bartender. A Queen, was made a bartender. Just like Queen Elsa, who was turned into a hippie of the woods.

I have a problem with storylines who strip women in command of their power, and it's happened with both Regina and Elsa.

One could tell Elsa has even more powers now, but I don't agree. She is ONLY her magic now, she's so out of this world, she has a role who is not even clear or specific, and absolutely not cool as being a regular Queen among the Disney princesses.

So yeah, heterosexual shallow romances and a change of role for the protagonists ruined my 2 favorite franchises.

ok so in terms of like canon stuff i feel like riley and sam had the closest thing u could to a meet cute in the literal army and i see their relationship as like very similar to daveklaus??? i think it definitely like in precatws i see them as meeting on base, maybe even not knowing each other before they got assigned to the project and got their wings etc

there’s a lot of potential for a slow burn there even as just a platonic relationship and tbh given the popularity of media like 1917, dunkirk, top gun, and that rn (which….. the modern stuff is more HMMMM but i mean the interest is there???) n marvels propaganda deal with the us military i don’t know WHY they HAVENT greenlit some sort of d+ mini series giving us a samriley prequel ??? at least a short 😭 but idk maybe they’ll actually give us some sams past crumbs in cap 4?????

in aus though i like to hc riley and sam as having the same hometown, i love the idea of riley being a quintessential southern boy with the drawl and the slang, i also heavily borrow from just say you do’s version of riley in which he has a dry sense of humor and takes no shit just like sam!! i picture him as “sassy” and over the top in the same way as like JVN lol

also i think he and sam have the best fashion sense out of anyone in the group except maybe nat when she’s not dressing super comfy casual (we all know steve and bucky are dead last on that one LMAOOO) bc riley comes from a working class family/started working himself at a really young age and so now he likes to be super deliberate about his sense of style/presentation instead of just whatever he got handed down from neighbors or church donations etc and that was a HUGE part of accepting his sexuality + gender identity (he/they riley u will always be famous)

i also borrow some elements of like adam parrish’s backstory 🤡 in that i see riley’s parents as negligent at best and ab*sive at worst, making the wilsons his sort of pseudo-family/safe space even before he and sam get together whether that’s bc they’re childhood besties in aus or bc they accept sam’s closest comrade into their fold (i cant remember if sam lost his parents before he went into the service so don’t come for me anyone) but yeah like in non canon universes i see their story as highly similar to stevebuckys bc they’re foils duh except ig riley would be closer to comics bucky than mcu bucky w his parents

it’s weird bc i used to exclusively ship stevebucky and then samriley completely separate. since i became open to the idea of multi shipping, i now ship in a different order/way??

like for au’s i still follow the two distinctive ships, meaning if i’m writing stevebucky i’ll usually have established samriley or single sam. however if i’m writing sambucky it’s probably going to be past!samsteve and/or stevebucky as well if not just samstevebucky (the most superior of all ships) 😌 like i might mention riley being sam’s ex before he got together with steve (if i’m including him and steve as a couple and not just friends) or just gets w bucky but the focus is way less on riley’s impact on sam’s dating history than like steve if that makes sense which is just interesting to me?? it’s also a roulette wheel of whether or not i decide to throw in sammisty (my beloved) bc sometimes i like to write bi sam and other times i like to write gay sam

sidenote i see peggy and steve and nat absolutely bi, always, angie as 100% a lesbian, misty and sam as bi4bi, but for sam and bucky i could see them as either bi or gay (although i typically tend to write bucky as either just gay or at most bi-curious but always in relationships with mlm)

i feel like i write more samriley in complete au’s than in canon compliant fics which is odd haha

maybe bc in canon compliant fics, if samriley exists i see them as a monogamous partnership, but if sam is with someone else/poly i typically see it like riley d*ed bc personally i just don’t see them breaking up?? they’re like either that couple u know that’s been together since they were 14 and you never see them without each other OR they’re exactly the same but they actually got married in their early 20s. i say, having explicitly written their divorce before

also idk why but i feel like in my head w poly!sam steve and/or bucky (or misty) are cool w him having paramours and metamours and everything even if they aren’t poly themselves but riley is strictly a one man guy and has no interest in anything outside a monogamous mlm relationship. he’s also demi and a hopeless romantic!

when i write samriley + steve and bucky i see riley as being able to relate to bucky better bc i follow the general fandom hc that riley is also disabled, but he’s somewhat closer w steve bc of sam and bucky’s initial “feud” when riley was still distrustful of bucky and 100% in sam’s corner, meaning he and bucky have a similar dynamic to sam and bucky where they like to banter and antagonize one another but he and steve are more chill and friendly when they talk like he and sam are (although they aren’t above ribbing at each other and referencing embarrassing inside jokes)

hngngngngnh h OH also he and sarah are like best friends bc they LOVE to gang up on sam and 100% would die for sam but like given the choice they would unionize to embarrass him at the drop of a hat

1.)for AoharuxMachinegun, what do you think of the last chapter? For me I didn’t like it bc it felt rushed especially how the blond dude and the green haired dude relationship problem got resolved. Also who do you ship from there?

2.)for Tokyo ghoul/re, what do think about the anime? A lot of Tokyo ghoul fans didn’t like the anime bc it detour away from the manga and the plot became odd… also what’s your thoughts on the manga and how it end?

3.)Black butler, what was your reaction when you found out that ciel has a twin brother? And what was your reaction when Agni ( the servant of the Indian prince) death? For me, everything was too much🥲… also what’s your thoughts on the anime?

4.)for Karneval, whose your favourite ship? Also I wish the English finish updating the manga bc the Japanese version is finish ad I’ve been waiting a long time for the translation.

5.)for vampire knight , ok so what’s your opinion on yuki, kaname, and zero weird ass and disappointing ending? Like I’m I the only one that was in disbelief that she chooses both of them and have kids with both them and that their children are lovers? Like why?

6.)for magi, what’s your thoughts on alibaba and morgianna relationship? For me I didn’t like how someone had to tell alibaba that morgiana likes him for him to start dating her. I don’t know it just didn’t seem fleshed out compare to morigana and hakyuu relationship.

7.)for Kiss him not me, did you see the side story with nanashima (blond haired dude) and shinomiya (brown haired dude that shows bottom vibes)? What’s your thoughts on it?

Before I begin... Unfortunately, I have not finished/caught up with Magi or Kiss Him, Not Me! so I cannot properly answer those specific questions at this moment in time. So I seriously apologize for that ):

I also haven't caught up with the Karneval manga (I need to soooo badly, though!) But I have watched the anime a few times already. So I can at least answer that question lol

Karneval : I always liked Gareki X Nai in a "brotherly" sort of way. Like... the adorable little brother who unintentionally annoys their moody older brother lol And from what I've read (and watched), I do like Nai and Karoku together. But again, not in a "romantic" way. Note : Yogi is my favorite character <3

Aoharu X Machinegun : I wish this series was longer purely because I like it so much lol I didn't necessarily mind the last few chapters. But with any manga or story in general, I'm not a fan of rushed endings or rushed reconciliations. As far as ships... If Hotaru was not a minor, I would ship her with Matsuoka. I still do in an innocent/friendly way, but definitely not romantic. So honestly, I think I have to say Matsuoka and Yukimura. Note : Yukimura is my top favorite character :3

Tokyo Ghoul Re: : Overall, I really enjoyed the Tokyo Ghoul/Tokyo Ghoul Re: anime. But I definitely do wish they made Tokyo Ghoul Re: longer and stuck with the manga. The best way I can put it = I watched Tokyo Ghoul Re: before I read it, and I was a bit confused at certain parts because it was rushed and I felt like important information wasn't included. Which was confirmed after I read Tokyo Ghoul Re:. So in that regard... Yep, I prefer the manga. As far as how it ended, my one "complaint" is that I wish there was more solid information regarding Takizawa. Just leaving it at "his whereabouts are unknown" was very disappointing to me. He deserved better than that, in my opinion ^^"

Black Butler : I hope you don't mind, anon... but I'm gonna go on a little tangent here. I still love Black Butler and I always will, but I used to be a huge Black Butler fangirl back in the day (not the obnoxiously cringey kind, just the "silently fangirl irl and then go online to act out terribly OOC roleplays with close friends and write borderline trash fanfics" kind lol). So I have a lot to say, especially regarding the anime xD

When it was revealed that Ciel actually has a twin, a lot of things came together and made sense. Especially with different scenes that were depicted throughout the series. Like in Book of Circus/Noah's Arc Circus when "Ciel" was shown inside the cage, yet it looked like Ciel was also up on the altar being sacrificed. That's obviously just one example, but you get my point lol

Agni's death was sooooooo sad ): I liked Agni for several reasons, two of the biggest reasons being : 1. his utter devotion and extreme care for Soma and 2. The fact that Sebastian seemed to genuinely respect Agni. I mean... If you get a demon's respect, then I'm pretty sure you're golden haha xD But in all seriousness... The fact that Agni died protecting Soma really says it all. To borrow Sebastian's catchphrase : Agni was simply one Hell of a khansama </3

Regarding the anime : I really, truly wish they would make more seasons or OVAs or movies or something that follow the manga. I think Book of the Atlantic was animated beautifully, and I also loved Book of Circus and Book of Murder. Oh, and of course I loved the OG Black Butler, good ol' Season One. I remember there was a lot of controversy and hatred towards Season Two... But I honestly enjoyed it lol Yes, it did stray completely away from the manga and yes, it wasn't as good as the main storyline. But I felt a lot of feels when watching Season Two. I also had a lot of fun roleplaying with friends back then and writing fanfics and crack headcanons for Claude, Alois, and the others.

But yes... If I can have one wish, I would wish for more Black Butler in anime form that follows the manga c:

Vampire Knight : yeahhhhh..... Please excuse my language lovely anon and anyone else who may be reading this, but that is all kinds of fucked up, in my humble opinion lol I know people are into lots of different things, and that's great. Absolutely zero judgement here, you do whatever makes you happy. I also completely understand that Vampire Knight is a work of fiction, that Yuki and Kaname aren't real so they can't actually be related, and that the children Yuki had with Zero and Kaname are also fictional characters who don't exist in the real world so that makes their relationship non-existent. But come on, man.... Really? Why?? Lol

For context : I was probably around 14ish when I first started watching Vampire Knight. Yes, I'm an old geezer ;n; (not really, but I feel that way sometimes haha xD) It's a series I stumbled upon after I had finished Death Note, because I was looking for cheap anime DVDs I could purchase on Amazon. After reading the synopsis, I figured "why not". So for less than $10, I was able to pick up the first Volume of Vampire Knight (I own the complete collection of Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight Guilty on DVD, and there's a total of 6 Volumes/cases. If that doesn't make sense, please let me know and I'll just post a picture of them since that would probably be easier lol)

Anyway! Once it arrived, I got pulled into the story fairly quickly. That lead me to purchase the other DVDs until I slowly accumulated the entire series. In between, I had also started collecting the manga too. And even though it was quite a long time ago, I specifically remember ordering the boxset for the last part of the manga right before I finished the anime. Because I thought "I've enjoyed the anime so much, I need all of the manga too!"

But when I saw the scene where Kaname locks lips with Yuki, and it's revealed that they're siblings... The disappointment and disgust I felt was immeasurable xD

Personally, I preferred Yuki and Zero together anyway. But I would have been able to fully accept Kaname and Yuki ending up together.... Just... Why make them relatives?

Even though I own the manga, I honestly never finished reading it because of that. But I did read the wiki pages extensively and I certainly heard a fair share of rumors/spoilers lol (I actually heard the familial ties between Kaname and Yuki are even worse in the manga, so I'm kinda glad I didn't finish it) I know YukiXKaname's kid and YukiXZero's kid are a "thing", but didn't YukiXKaname's kid also have the hots for Zero at some point, too? I think I remember reading that somewhere before? Either way.... Not my cup of tea ^^"
