imagining a story where you save one of the yandere!triforce members. You think nothing about it at the time, it was just something to be done for a traveler in need. Very quickly they learn that you had no idea how they were and the way you brush off the interaction is odd. You rush in, defeat the monsters, and then ask for nothing in return. Just going back to your day. They try to figure out what happened in your perspective or if there's anything more you were trying to convey.
Nope! Just the reader doing their good deed for the day and then moving on with their life.
However the one you saved has different ideas.
(this is especially more interesting with a hylian!reader who saved Ganon. You spend some time with him not knowing who he is for whatever reason. Maybe you genuinely start to think of him as nice only to be hit by the realization of who he is and what's going on once he reveals he plans on kidnapping you.)

“I’m trying not to ask you about your sex life,” May says, staring at Foggy intently over her glass of wine, “but your boyfriend’s a whole fucking deal and it’s difficult.”
Sometimes, when Matt and Peter are both involved in some highkey worrying crime fighting shenanigans, they'll hang out and drink and watch whatever version of The Bachelor is currently happening. She's beautiful and sane and wise and one of Foggy's favorite people.
"What do you want to know?" Foggy asks, laughing.
May takes a significant drink before putting her wine on the coffee table before turning to sit cross-legged and facing him on the couch, staring at him for another long moment before she asks, "Are the horns involved?"
"No," Foggy says, shaking his head. "There's nothing less sexy to me than the horns."
"Huh, okay," she says, softly. "But, like--there's a level of kink there, right? The leather? The religious imagery? It feels kinky and you're so seemingly normal--I mean, not that kinkiness is, like, inherently abnormal, I've been there, I've got handcuffs, but--like the level of kinkiness that might lead one to being the kind of person that Matt is does not mesh with my impression of you, my friend."
". . .you know, you can just ask which of us is dominant," Foggy says, warmly.
"I know it's more complex than that," she says, nodding firmly, "but I'll take it."
"Just between us?"
"Obviously," May says. "The only person we have in common is my nephew who literally jumped out of a window when I tried to have a sex talk with him--before the spider shit."
"Okay, I'll just say that Matt. . .needs a little. . .discipline," Foggy says. "Due to being--what did you call him?"
"A whole fucking deal," May says, gravely.
"Right," Foggy says. "It's therapeutic, really."
"For both of you?"
"Being able to tie the man I love to a bed, when that man has a tendency to run off into imminent danger, is. . .pretty solid, yeah," he says, smiling. "Did that satisfy your curiosity?"
"Not remotely," she says, smiling back, "but we've still got half a bottle of wine so let's see where the night goes, kid."

but could we meet by the first of july
Rating: T / PG-13
Campaign Setting: Eberron / Around Khovaire in Fifty Days
Summary:
'It's not as bad as it looks.'
'Really, cause it looks pretty bad.' Monty was a bit surprised she had even answered. Her soulmate had been quiet for quite some time now. 'My MOM even stopped me to ask if you were okay.'
A few beats go by. 'And did she also notice the hickeys all over your neck the other day?'
[lord I've been prayin', for somebody I've never seen]
-
[content warning for various injury related scars]
i told myself I would never write a soulmate au, like i just never wanted to go there y’know, but the tried and true "you share the same markings on your skin as your soulmate" works perfectly with aberrant marks and I couldn't put it down. We've never exactly dwelled on how our aberrant character feels about being so, so I wanted to take a shot at it going in the angsty route. Eberron created a really complex yet so very marginalized group of people, and I wanted to dig a bit into how unfair the world is for them.
not as many pc & npc cameos in this one, I tried a different style that's more serious & vague than usual - but apparently I've decided demetrius is my comic relief

I would like sentences from S4 Fix-it: Lucas POV
Lucas s4 fix-it! In which the thing we are fixing is the Duffers' oblique racism! (and some other things, don't worry). Thank you for the ask!
Lucas jogs over to the Beemer, grinning at Steve as he runs up to it. It's been a couple weeks since he's seen him. Steve tries to show up for all of their home games—mostly for Robin, probably—but he can't always make it if he winds up with a closing shift.
"What's up, Steve?"
"You looking forward to the game tonight?"
"Yeah, yeah, it's going to be really exciting watching everyone else play for an hour and a half." A part of him would rather be at Hellfire tonight. Not because he doesn't like being on the basketball team, or that he thinks being at the championship isn't important. It's just…at least with the Party he knows he has a place there, and he knows he can be helpful to his team. All sitting on the bench does is show his loyalty to the team. But he'll still get all of that another night, and for today he just needs to show the Tigers that he knows how to sit pretty and cheer them on.
"Hey, you never know when you're going to be called in as a Hail Mary."
"I think if it hasn't happened once all season it's pretty safe to say it won't happen tonight."
"Well I'll be cheering you on whether you come off the bench or not."
"Thanks, Steve."
Help me write!

(^‿^)_/🌹
(me handing you the flower)
thank you!! here’s a piece of the cas&kelly late-s12-adventures fic I will post eventually. maybe. hopefully.
“I can lift far more than even the strongest of humans. I could lift this whole house if I had to,” Cas grumbled, and if Kelly didn’t know better she’d think he was whining.
“I’m sure,” she said dryly. “But for today let’s just focus on not getting lost in IKEA, okay?”
