“here we are again” — new beginnings chapter II

I hope you enjoy reading this chapter <3 just a lil note: updates will get a bit sporadic for the upcoming week or so because I have some big things coming up which unfortunately require more attention than my silly little fics :( I greatly apologise for that, but let me tell you once I'm free I'll have great fics awaiting you all!!

You let out a huge sigh as you lean back in your chair and close your eyes shut. You’ve been trying to find a good preschool for Sage, after you had to pull her out of the one she was earlier in because their fees increased exponentially, and unfortunately you haven’t been earning enough to support Sage going to such an expensive school.

“Mamma mamma!” You hear her call you out from a different room. Her footsteps are audible as she comes running to you, basically banging the floor with her feet.

“Mamma!” She says, smiling wide, standing next to the front legs of your chair and tugging on your pants. You look down at her and plaster a big smile on your face, picking her up and placing her on your lap.

“Yes baby?” You coo, leaning to press a kiss on her soft cheek, which is tinted a light pink.

“I made something for you! You have to see it now,” she says, now tugging on your crewneck. You get up from your chair, Sage on your hip as you go to the room she was just in.

You set her down on the floor, and she picks up a folded paper. “Here,” she grins, and you take the paper from her.

You unfold it and you see a drawing of you, her, and one strange man standing next to the two of you. She’s colored in the drawings, her colors going out of her drawn lines, assuming their own directions, but nevertheless, you can’t help but grin wide at the present.

“Sage baby,” you get on your knees in front of her, “this is so cute! You’re my talented little kiddo, aren’t you?” You smile, tickling her sides. She laughs and squirms to get away from you, her little hands trying to swat you away.

“But who is that?” You ask, pointing at the drawing of the strange man.

“Fafe!” She yells excitedly.

“Fafe? Who’s ‘Fafe’ baby?”

“We met him, at the, at the store! He was big, veryyy big!”

And suddenly it strikes you. The handsome, handsome man who you met at the grocery store. It’s been around a week since that day and you had nearly forgotten about him.

Nearly.

Until this exact moment.

Now everything comes back to you; the exact moment you saw him, your eyes sinking into his, your heart beating so loud it might as well jump out of your chest.

“I remember him baby, why did you draw him?”

“Because, because he was very nice to me,” she says, her hands at her back as she’s swaying side to side in her position.

You aren’t sure what to reply to her with. She drew a man you met and didn’t even talk for more than five minutes on a random Tuesday, and showed you three being a family.

Dad, mom, and Sage. A family.

Is she expecting you two to just get married to him? To bring him in your house this quick?

But, at the end of the day, she’s a four year old little girl, with a wild imagination, and a desire to have a father figure in her life.

You’ve tried your level best to never let Sage feel the lack of a father in her life, but you always knew deep in your heart that one day, she will wonder why she only has a single parent, and why can’t she have two parents like all her friends. But you never expected this day to come so early.

You shake your head and come back to reality, and let a smile pull onto your lips. “I’ll hang this on the fridge next to all your other art,” you tell her, and she jumps up and down with excitement. You make your way to your kitchen, your daughter on your heels as she’s giggling, and you pin her drawing up with a magnet next to the rest. You take a step back to admire the splash of colors on your fridge door, your heart feeling content.

You smooth out the wrinkles in her dress, and tie the bow of her dress tightly. Sage is especially giggly today, your hands roaming over her little body which constantly creates a tickling sensation on her skin.

“Mamma, where are we going?” She asks you, carefully pocketing a candy you gave her. You pick her up and take her to your kitchen island, settling her in her chair to hand her her cereal.

“We’re going to a new school baby,” you say, pouring milk into her bowl and mixing it well with her fruit loops.

“But, I love home,” she puts, her eyes big and wide, and you know she’s trying her best to convince you to stay at home by putting on a puppy dog face.

“You know that face doesn’t work on me,” you smile, sitting next to her, and gently smoothing a hand over her hair. She only giggles as her answer and you pick up her spoon, and start to feed her. Even though she knows how to eat on her own, you’re worried she might get messy and spill the milk on her dress.

You were worried she might not like the idea of going to a new school. She really liked the previous one, but you knew you couldn’t keep her in there for long. But here she is sitting next to you, eating her cereal as excitedly as if you’re about to go to an amusement park.

Once she’s done eating, you both leave for the school. This one also happens to be closer to your home than the last one, so you're quick to reach there. You help Sage get out of the car, her light bag hanging on her shoulders and her hand securely in yours, as you lead her to the main doors of the school.

When you go inside, the receptionist leads you to the classroom Sage has been assigned to. A few children are sitting on the floor of the classroom, empty white sheets spread around them along with unopened boxes of paint.

You hear Sage audibly gasp as she notices all the art supplies, her eyes shining with a desire to create art. You look around the classroom to spot a teacher, but there’s no one to be seen.

You decide to maybe talk to the receptionist once again; maybe she’s making a mistake? You leave Sage in the classroom and turn around, and almost in the next fraction of the second you bang into a broad chest.

“Oh gosh I’m so sorry!” You grunt, your eyes closed from the impact. You run a hand over your forehead, feeling a slight pain from your collision into the broad and muscular chest.

You finally open your eyes, and you see the last person you would expect to be here.

“Rafe?”

a/n: Idk just had this random idea of jjk men and Haikyuu men being in one room with the reader like the general dynamics.

Which room you'd rather be locked in?

Room 1 : Gojo Satoru/ Ryomen Sukuna / Toji Fushiguro/ Kuroo Tetsuroo / Oikawa Tooru / Atsumu Miya

A bunch of loud narcissistic extroverts in one room.

Let's say Kuroo is the calmest comparing to them.

Over confidents in their looks and capabilities.

Cocky ass men.

They would start showing off in front of you, literally out of the blue.

Would start an arm wrestling match to see who's the strongest.

Smart? super smart, they'd know exactly what to say to you to make you blush and weak on the knees.

🦋 Mars in gemini how yall like starting multiple projects at once and then stopping because it's boring? This placement may also give a lil bit of ADHD.

🦋 Sun in 12th housers are VERYY VERYYY VERYYY private & mysterious. These people have such a dreamy aura and appearance to them!

🦋 I really haven't seen many people talk about Lilith in the solar return chart but babyyyyy..... watch out for her if she falls into your 1st house cuz omgggg. Lilith will take you for a loop when it comes to how others view you. Constant unwanted commentary on your appearance. Impacts how you feel about yourself definitely could have an effect on your mental health.

Oh yeah and if Lilith falls into ur 1st, channel that dark goddess energy because this is a great time for transformation when it comes to your beauty and how others & yourself view u. People can also definitely obess over you.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I speak from own experiences/ intuition when I do astrology so let me know if some of yall resonate with this;

So we know how Venus is exalted in pisces and can show like unconditional love, spiritual love and they tend to be very creative.

I feel like 7th house lord in 12th house / Neptune in 7th house can replicate this. This placement gets a bad rep yes you do attract a lot of narcissistic people and you daydream about your partners and put them on a pedestal. BLAH BLAH BLAHHHH....😫🙄

But whether your spiritual or not this could ultimately lead you to be in a highly spiritual connection with someone and neptune/12th house are like prophecies, future predictions you know......

So when you have this placement if your having dreams or you keep getting signs about a certain person I feel this can lead you to the right person. You just have to really listen and be intuitive to make the right decisions.

This can also make the native to be very creative and imaginative. I could go on and on about this placement but it's truly beautiful and to me resembles venus in pisces. Juno In 12th may also give this.

It's been rubbing off on me and for every time I stub my toe on the side of the table and say "fudge! Shoot! Crap! Darn it! " there is a 20% chance I'll instead say **** in my language

but i dont like swearing but also it's... kinda, cool

Can't tell what words you're saying or language you're speaking, but you certainly look pissed.

As soon as he realizes that the words you're saying aren't just any type of words in your language, but particularly swear words, he waltzes in to try and stop you.

Hi. How do I read a vertex persona chart? I tried to understand if I am supposed to read it as a natal chart or not when looking for the meaning on Tumblr. Let’s say I want to understand my fated career or lovelife how do I read when x planet is in y house in z sign? For example venus in 7th in scorpio is that the type of person I am meant to attract or live with or even be in a relationship? Or virgo mercury conjunct MC in 11th am I meant to work in a communication-skilled job? I gave random examples but I am very confused especially because I don’t know how to interpret it with the aspects. Thanks in advance.

First of all, when doing a vertex pc, make sure to put the asteroids you want: for example for your love life, put juno, briede, groom, etc...

Vertex PC is supposed to make you see about your fate, so if you add asteroids in certain topics, you'll see more about a certain fate. I'm gonna take mine as an example.

AITA for accidently letting something in that i shouldnt

its my first time using a phone, let alone trying to write anything in so long so bare with me

i (10M) am a ghost and posessing something, and recently my friend of mine, who was also possessing the same thing as me, had vanished and im left the job of collecting all his 'infected' stuff, while some guy just keeps trying to follow me

anywho, heres the point of why im typing, while i was just going out of the street, i noticed a group of guys trying to talk to this one girl and they didnt look very nice, because people believed i had a deadly touch (i dont anymore, not relevant) they left, and i found this girl (15 F? i think, ill call her R)

R had told me that i had saved her life, i tried to go into her memory to see what it was like but it was too, fuzzy, she told me more about herself, how she usually was sick alot of the time and got kicked out by her father because he got too invested in his expiriments, she talked about how much she wanted to go home

me being me, i told R i can just take her home, straight away! R got excited and we did just that, it took abit but we eventually found it, her father seemed happy to see her and i was happy i did my job.. and that is when it goes downhill,

first the guy that tried to follow me just came out the door, said some random name and passed out, secondly, i noticed a picture on the wall, it was of the father and R! but R looked... VERYYY different, completely even! i turned around and saw her turn into the girl in the picture in real time!

i tried to get her away from him but she had this magical cut in her skin! i didnt even draw any myself! she did it to make the father give her something she wanted! i couldnt even move nor say anything, all she did was grin and laugh, i cant even discribe it it was the most horrible thing ive witnessed and i believe its my fault, i just wanted to give R back the life she wanted, not this

"What am I to you?" You said looking into his eyes sternly with a straight face.

"What?" Jaemin scoffed walking away but you were too fast to tackle him and to stand in front of him blocking his way towards the staircase. You had been veryyy much done with playing 'friends-friends' with your boss.

You saw your boss put his hand in his pocket while looking at you in irritation, "Back to business Miss, Y/N"

"YEAH!That's it!I'm back to MY business" you stomped your foot angrily. Jaemin's eyes followed your movement. He didn’t miss the light pressure you put on the word 'my' before uttering the word business. His jaw clenched before muttering in a lower tone, "are you mocking me?"

"Now!now! The almighty boss thinks I am MOCKING him!why?You think you can mock every single person in this office?and none cant yooou?huh?My ass!" Your eyes ignited with anger so were your words. His lips twitched

"no cursing at office miss Y/N",He reminded rolling his eyes.

"Baby Jaemin~" you cooed tiptoeing to tighten his tie the way you had seen lead actresses doing that to their love interests.

"Dont-Miss Y/N.." he growled pulling your hand off his aqua tie. You furrowed.

"That's no drama Miss Y/N.." he informed as let go of your hand to fix his tie using his own hands. Your eyebrows knitted together while looking at your newly bought red heels. Why does he have to be so cold? You thought. You had been crushing over him since the day you were appointed as an employee in this company and it had been no less than two years. Sometimes, you thought maybe he shared the same feeling towards you as he would occasionally pass by your desk to leave a 'hey' on your way. Or maybe because he would put you in the same team under his supervision with some other random employees.

You heard him clear his throat, "Can you move?I have an important business to attend to.."

Your furrow deepened but you let him slip off you anyway. The man acted as if he was just saved from a witch. Son of a. You cursed him under your breath before heading to your desk.

"Life is sooo unfair" you told yourself while waiting for your booked cab in front of your office. You took out your phone and decided to go through your twitter account. You found a meme instantly on your favourite boy band and started to laugh out loud shaking your head.

"You are so weird Miss Y/N.." Your head shot up from your phone to the black prado which was stopped in front of you. Oh,when did that arrive? You asked yourself.

But you couldn’t help rolling your eyes seeing the man sat inside the car. The same person who just acted cold towards you an hour ago.

"Won't you reply?" he tsked when he saw you walking away. You were done with this man. To be honest, you were not done because one sweet hello from him would make you hover over him again and you were very much aware of that.

"Dont you use your ears?" you heard your so called boss complaining as he drove his car and was slowly following you. You mentally made a note not to reply him.

"Hey Y/N!" he shouted surprisingly in a calm voice. Your eye-brows raised up in wonder but you kept walking followed by his car.

"Don't you want to go home?" he asked again. Clearly pissed off for being ignored by you.

"Okay,look I am-" he was cut off as a cab pulled off opposite of the road and you quickly crossed the road to hop in that cab. He growled punching on his steering before heading the car towards the highway.

It was raining outside. You were having your daily coffee sitting beside the window. You couldn’t help watching rain drops pattering silently. You tsked hearing your doorbell rang a couple of times. You lazily got up and walked towards the door to peep through the hole. You furrowed seeing your boss wrenched in rain waiting outside as his fingers continually ringing the bell impatiently. You were shocked for a moment but quickly recomposed yourself to open the door wide for him.

His eyes moved up to you as soon as the door was opened.

"Y/N.." he almost whispered making you melt inside.

"What are you doing here,sir?" you purposefully added the honorific.

"Can-can I enter?"

"No!"

"What?-well,no problem with that.." he sighed.

"What are you doing here?" you asked again,trying your hard to sound indifferent of his arrival.

"You had been absent in work a couple of days.." he spoke looking nonchalant.

"I had been sick and I apologise for that..but I don't think any boss from any company comes to visit his employees if they have been skipping works..." you said and scoffed.

"We don't have the typical boss employee relationship between us and you are well aware of that..." he added pinning you down with his stare. You shrugged,"oh!Is that so,sir?"

"Ain't that it,ms,y/n?" he said looking all innocent.

"Wah!you never fails to amaze me sir!" you faked an wow and continued, "We-" you stepped closer to him and said in a very serious tone,"only share formal relationship sir,and,that's all we have."

"Y/N,I know I have been acting all weird these days and-I-I never meant to..I -I was just worri-"

You cut him off,"I will meet you at the office tomorrow,sir..Thanks for droppi-Ah!"You almost screamed out when your boss Jaemin out of nowhere pushed you inside the apartment and closed the door behind.

"What are you doing!You just can't get into one's house this way!This is fucking illegal! You fuvking dumbass jaemin!" You screamed at him shaking in anger. But to your surprise, the man in front of you started laughing.

I'm new here so sorry if you've talked about it before, but what's the tea between Austin and Olivia deJonge? a while ago I heard someone say that they had something during the filming of Elvis but that they are no longer close and don't follow each other on Instagram. they also said that Austin was unfaithful to Vanessa with her, but tbh I don't give these rumors about celebrities cheating much credibility unless they are 100% confirmed 😅 thanks!!

oh, my sweet summer child…*pats your head*. this has become a veryyy contentious topic on my blog so i don’t talk about it much anymore but since you’re a new fan looking for info, as was i once, i will do one Final brain dump about it.

he still follows her and her finstas that i don’t think she uses anymore lol, but yes olivia unfollowed him in september. something that is funny (at least to me) within the context that said unfollow was when she went out with sophie turner and taylor swift. like…what did blondie say that pushed you ever the edge girl LOL. then little miss instagram anxiety unfollowed 100 random accounts the next day trying to pretend it wasn’t selective.

this is also a little contentious because there isn’t proof proof in the form of like kissing photos or something (just beach pap photos from nov 2020 where they aren’t touching each other haha). but in my humble opinion they were involved during filming.

timeline gets a little messy at the start, but i do think re: some late december early january gossip about him being seen with olivia that austin and v were broken up a hot minute before it came out publicly on jan 14th 2020 so 🤷🏼‍♀️. don’t think it was some big affair. they were def broken up before jan 2nd, a day that will leave in infamy lmfao. olivia posted a photo in austin’s shirt, which v fans clocked immediately bc he’d wore in it on vacation with v. and this was jan 2nd, two weeks before the breakup went public. i wasn’t in the fandom for this, but as ive been told it was a real mess. olivia went private briefly, deleted the pics, asked the society fans to take the photos down and it was the beginning of instagram becoming the seemingly anxiety inducing thing for that that it is now.

(ex: after the oscars last year she posted some elvis filming throwbacks on her story as a nice little end of the era thing. one of her and austin she wrote ‘so proud 🥀 @austinbutler’ on. she then deleted that story, reposted it, deleted it again, and reposted it without the text.)

and i mean yeah- big (probably intentional) goof on her part with the shirt thing. but idk. she was 21 at the time, and i’m willing to give 21 year olds a little girl what are you doing grace.

whatever happened between her and austin, the most she’s done re ‘shade’ is liking a comment someone left on her page saying she deserved better when he was seen with lily rose and something got sent to deuxmoi that said he’d cheated on her (imo he didn’t. she was just hurt bc seeing him move on stung, or maybe the door that should have been fully shut wasn’t. lily was august 2021, he left australia march 2021)- and hanging out with v a handful of times mid 2022 (though she herself never posted about it, it was either other people or paps).

a lot of people on here reallyyyy don’t like her, but i’m a fan so that’s my girl. i have a real big soft spot for her, and a while ago when a friend of mine in the fandom at the time told me ‘oh the internet wasn’t nice to her at all’ in the months after the shirt debacle it really hurt my heart.

even with a little smidgeee of shade as explained above ^ i think she’s handled whatever maybe not so positive feelings she has towards him reasonably. they seemed to get a long just fine and happy during elvis press- esp so in toronto which my fav interviews of the two of them are from bc that press tour stop was just them and baz. she’s never said a negative world about him publicly, and i doubt she ever will. the most candid she’s ever been about elvis filming was an interview earlier this year where she said she did ‘a lot of growing up on that job’ and that she sees her life as before and after elvis. i think that’s the most “deep” she’ll ever go down that road, at least for a long while.

between her unfollowing him in sept, turning off her tagged photos in feburary. and recently deleting a comment v left on a post of hers within 30 seconds (i presume bc she knew just like we did that v was doing that for drama/attention, it was right after austin’s esquire interview where he briefly, respectfully talked about her), i think she’s genuinely trying to move on with her life. which can be hard! i never get over anyone! and if my personal read is right that she was a mix between a rebound and the priscilla to his elvis when he was really living in that man’s head that’s even more of an idk…niche heartbreak to have to wrestle with? whether the other party actually did anything wrong or not. i don’t think austin did anything to her or broke her heart with any malicious intent at all. none of the olivia/austin stuff changes how i see him as a fan. he’s a complex human, olivia is a complex human. that’s the gist.

My name's Tezel, I'm a 20 yr old agender aromantic bisexual and I go by they/it!!

I'm not entirely sure how to describe myself, but I guess I could say I enjoy spending time with others a lot! I always try to be friendly, and when I feel comfortable enough with someone, I might end up talking way too much...Sometimes I feel like I should probably apologize to them!

Also, I'm not really one to judge people, so I always try my best to be as understanding as possible. I'm not someone who gets angry w their friends easily either...Guess that'd take a lot!

As for my interests, I really enjoy drawing, and I also really like listening to music! ^_^ Something else I enjoy is collecting plushies, so I will always be extremely thankful to anyone who'd think of giving me one as a gift! Also, I absolutely love dinosaurs, so I might accidentally go on a ramble about them with someone I'm speaking with! I just think they're neat :P

Something else about me, which I'm definitely not proud of, is that I easily end up getting anxious over the silliest things. If it gets too bad, I might try to seek comfort from my friends or anyone I'm close to. Usually, that helps a lot.

If I'm close enough with someone, I will definitely be very cuddly around them, or at least give them hugs often! Of course, if I'm not sure if they're comfortable with it, I will ask beforehand if they're ok with it! I always value people's feelings before my own.

And lastly, I know many random facts about animals, so I'll often bring them up to people I'm speaking with if a certain animal is brought up or if I'm asked something about it! I'm often told I know a lot a lot about them :3

Sir Pentious!

I can totally see you and Pentious bonding for a very wide number of reasons. I don’t usually do this in matchups, but I can see you approaching him first and complimenting him on how cool he looks – he’s a snake after all, and you love animals -; he even sounds cool, with all the inventions he comes up with! He’d get really flustered over someone paying this much attention to him but at the same time be very proud of himself, and he’d totally take some time to brag a little, encouraged by your shower of compliments. This is kind of how your first meeting would go, in my opinion!

After that, you two would be inseparable: you’d ramble about your interests and he’d ramble back about his, and you’d give each other opinions on what the other has said. This would continue for hours on end! He’d also grow so fond of you to let you witness him and the egg boys at work; you’d think of this as the coolest thing ever. Eventually, you’d end up dating, probably planning to confess in the same exact moment too. It’d be a bit of an awkward confession, but one full of chuckles and hugs and reassurance!

Pentious is a biiig cuddle bug – he loves hugs, snuggling up against you, hand holding and when you do all of that to him! Therefore he doesn’t mind your hugs at all, he actually asks for them himself. He’s the type to hold your hand under the table while you’re all having dinner at the Hotel and then blush about it, and he also plays with your hands a lot. his hand is probably pretty big and slender, so he loves to point out how small your hands are compared to his.

He absolutely adores when you show him your art, he definitely goes a little overboard with compliments sometimes as he tends to exaggerate things in general but he does think everything that he says, so his comments are very genuine. If you draw him sometimes he’ll be very flustered about the fact that you find him handsome enough to make him a portrait!

He’s actually the type of demon to sit down next to you if he notices you drawing and join you in your activity. Not that he’s great at it himself, but what matters is that he’s willing to spend some quality time with you doing something that you enjoy.

You and Pentious also don’t get on each other’s nerves often at all. If one of you does something mildly annoying you both always end up apologizing immediately afterwards in fear that the other will get mad at you, so it’s very rare that you get mad in this relationship.

Also, if he does do something that upsets you, he’ll be feeling awful all day and do something to cheer you up, like get you a new plushie or bake something for you. Not that he doesn’t do little acts like these randomly during your relationship too though; he’s actually a big gift giver and he loves acts of service so it’s not rare for him to show up at your bedroom door with a trail of freshly made cookies or a handmade little gift. In fact, most of his time in his room/studio is spent figuring out what to make for you next!

When you start panicking over something for the first time, he gets a little bit anxious himself as well, not going to lie. With time though he learns that all you really need from him is for him to act natural and distract you a bit with some silly jokes, and perhaps a bit of light hearted comfort and a cuddle. From that point on he cherishes it every time you turn to him for help, as you’re his first supporter too.

Charlie!

To start off, these will be a little bit on the shorter side as they’re platonic headcanons. Anyways, you and Charlie sure love to hang out and listen to each other ramble! She’ll stare at you with big wide eyes and wonder on her face as you spew facts about dinosaurs and animals; she’ll be especially interested on the cute ones, she adores cute things!

She’s also big on physical affection, so she will never decline a hug from you! Now, longer cuddling sessions might be a little off-limits as she’s dating Vaggie and the latter can get a bit jealous over these things, so you both decide to respect her and stick to hugs and the occasional friendly hang holding while walking around.

Charlie gladly joins you and Pentious in your drawing sessions; she’s a little better at drawing than he is, and will fill the entire page with doodles of hearts and rainbows and stars if you don’t stop her...it’s very endearing!

She values everyone’s feelings a lot, so when she senses that you’re in distress she’ll immediately be by your side. She can be a little bit awkward at offering advice sometimes as she doesn’t have much clue of what goes on in humans’ minds after all, but she’s trying her best to cheer you up and that’s what matters. She will also refrain from judging you herself, as she is the Princess of literal Hell.

Charlie loves your plushie collection; she’s got one of her own! She’s obsessed with taking pictures of her plushies so she’ll definitely do the same thing with yours, too, especially the ones that she finds adorable. When your birthday or some other kind of celebration comes around, a plushie will definitely be her main present from you; she might let the secret escape though while excitedly asking which ones you’d like to get if somebody got you one, right now...

@amity206 i wrote out and organized the world building a long time ago, so it’s not exactly up to date with the newer seasons and season area’s but i guess if someone’s interested i should maybe look into updating it? hm something to think about ig lol either way, here’s my whole world building sheet its veryyy long so uh take your time reading it, im totally willing to answer any questions you have too :3

Isle of Dawn-Binial

where all moths are born

Moths are Megabird shaking off their feathers

those feathers fall to isle in a meteor type fashion and when they land, they are a ball of Megabird’s light which soon reforms into a classic moth with no cape, the basic moth hair, pants and mask

this happens at random which is why sky kids must keep constant watch over the beach for new arrivals

its rare for more than one moth to be born at a time but it can still happen

they are usually considered siblings more than most and its strongly encouraged not to separate them

they can leave each other when they are old if they so wish but most dont

Moths are called Mids, the species of sky kids are called Skids, and butterfly sky kids, so someone between moth and vet are called Butids

Caretakers-a whole “job”(i say job very loosely) you can have as a vet where you simply wait at the beach in isle for moths to be born to then help them adjust to their new bodies and take them to one of the various house in isle to grow up and either get adopted or picked up by a guider or just get old enough to choose to set out on their own

Guiders-more similar to mentors than a parent

they wont adopt the moth into their family but simply help them learn how sky works and take them through the realms til either they reach Empyrean or find a place they want to live or an apprenticeship learning sometime of art or craft

they can take more than one moth too where people adopting rarely do

they usually are either near the end of their lives or they are simply bored for a while, sometimes they do it just to be nice, it depends on the guider

Guiders and sky kids come to adopt moths here

Some stay for the community feeling because its like a suburban neighborhood with many moths and elder skids sticking around

Others like it for the quiet they can find by the shores as mids are typically contained to the center of Binial for their safety

houses above ground and houses built into caves and buried in the ground

Cave of prophecy

It's more like a fun training ground! Or an obstacle course

They don’t actually die, the prophet just laughs and helps them back onto the course

They're more like a referee than a prophet

Daylight Prairie-Digarem

Fisherman type region

Everyone here fishes or builds the various types of boats, water or air

They can also train mantas for various jobs

Some people are butterfly breeders/keepers

Other don't have an area specific job but like the peace and quiet

Sanctuary Isle

A beach type resort place

People commonly go to just relax and play with the flock of mantas and swim in the water

Hidden Forest-Hirthlim

Mainly filled with artisans and researchers

only place in this world you can die unnaturally is from the deadly rain of Hirthlim

Very dangerous which is why younger skids are rarely wandering alone and if they are, everyone will constantly check up on them and ask if they need help

Wood carvers, painters, jewelers, metal workers, forgers, etc etc

They just carve out like mini statues and then plop them down, scattered everywhere across the forest. You can just find one hidden away a little bit as you’re walking/flying your way through the forest

there's hand crafted stuff everywhere in forest, various sculptures littered along side the paths, crystal garlands hung from branch to branch etc

at night you see the reflection of flittering fireflies in the rivers and lakes that make them look like the stars in the sky that is actually hidden behind the leaves and branches above

The cave in the tree has gems, metals and stone that they mine to use for decorations

Treehouse

A big commune basically

People go there if they need to hide from someone or they simply need to get away from it all

It's also where mids who’s guiders/family have died or the mids who got lost in Hirthlim are taken to

Sometimes the mid isn’t a good fit for the family either they are brought back to Binial or brought to treehouse to be readopted or if they are old enough, to simply figure out if they want another family or if they wanna go off on their own for a while

the mids take a while to show their personality and sometimes the family either cant properly take care of them for some reason or its detrimental to the family itself and the mids are well taken care of and due to being so young, they quickly forget the past family and harbor no sadness or trauma from the parting

skids who work/live here commonly go searching through Hirthlim looking for lost moths

Flight

The mail center

Also a huge manta training grounds but only for riding or helping with pulling carts

Also used as training grounds for flying in tight spaces or with really strong winds

the mail is carried by the wind currents and birds pass messages between the spirits and skids that work there

like the big current that takes you all the way around flight but hundreds of tiny ones

mail leaving flight is either put on a cart dragged by a big manta or given to mail skids who have a specific section of each realm that they deliver to

they ride smaller mantas to travel around quicker and deliver the mail

the skids do the sorting and taking them out of flight

The widespread corruption and the fall of King Resh and of Sky has not happened yet

Its is starting to though, with small infrequent dark plants sprouting in Hirthlim and the corruption of the first manta in Gaial

The draining rain is not caused by the corruption, it is part of the natural Sky world that people have come to live with

Valley of Triumph-Valem

Large bustling city, think new york and street fairs

Valem + Empyrean hold like 70% of all skids permanent homes

It has many markets and schools and overall is just a huge culture landmark due to its size and population

Anything you can think of, they have have

A lot of mids stay here a long time before making the journey to Empyrean and some just never leave

Super big on competition and flying

Many sports and they hold a ton of games and celebrations

Village of Dreams

Moth epicenter

Basically the suburbs

Many many families have their permanent homes here

Huge houses

Where ice skating lessons are held :3

Hermit Valley

Where a lot engineers and inventors and scientist and researchers live

many move up to hermit valley because no one else lives up there so they dont have to worry about bother anyone with their creations and since everyone is a researcher, they are used to dangerous stuff

They are the ones making the flying boats and looking into the dark plants and the power crystals

There’s also the normal types of researchers like how the world works and there’s a lot of researchers investigating the old murals and trying to write of of sky’s history and religion down

There’s also a lot of people looking into helping disabled sky kids and making better gear for various jobs + mantas

They’re looking into creating fake wings for skids that can’t fly but so far are unsuccessful

They mainly focused on saddles for service mantas as well as other needed aids such as googles to improve eyesight

at the peaks of this giant mountain range where it snows and is giant enough to fit whole villages and a city

Along side all the birds you fly up to the top to Valem and suddenly you burst through the blanket of clouds and you’re soaring above them

You can either take a boat or manta up or fly up a wind tunnel/highway to get up

Golden Wastelands-Gaial

mainly farming fields before the big border wall for Empyrean

inside that wall are smaller villages

basically like the midwest, farms for miles and miles

a canyon is in the west but people rarely venture that way due to being so far out of the way (where the first corruption of a manta, the first step towards krill and the person who has semi control over it)

a small town/castle thing lies on that coast

Forgotten Ark

there's no ark there

its just another farm but since its an island, they have different crops and such

very floral and such, think tropics

Abyss

very veryyyyyyy small fishing village

its very hidden and people rarely go there

the fishers there venture out sometimes to sell their catches but its mainly made up of 2-3 large found families that dont want to interact with other sky kids nowadays so they just stay in their village

Vault of Knowledge-the library

its filled with researchers and scribes

all of the kingdoms history is recorded here

this is where the “priests” live too

priests arent actually priests but more the high level scribes, because they know a lot of information and can offer good advice

no one can actually talk to Megabird obviously but they have studied the memory cubes for most of their life so they know more than anyone else which is why people go to them for advice

this is like home base for all researchers

any researches elsewhere come from the library and will return there if their research is finished

they also send all their reports there

Starlight Desert

the childrens library!

this is where moths can learn about the history or just hear stories

sometimes older sky kid will leave their moths here for a while like a daycare

there’s people who live in eden that are like school teachers basically that work in starlight

Eden-Empyrean

this is like a huge spiraling city

i saw someone compare it to the tower of babel so i’m strongly referencing that

there’s multiple levels, getting smaller as they go up

the very top level is where King Resh and his advisors live and work

lower level down is where they hold meeting with the elders and just general important stuff idk

floors 1-4 are split in half basically

one half is purely the library and the other is normal house and stores and workshops and such

spirit mantas are used to move large groups of people around like buses or to travel around on one floor if they dont want to fly or have a large package or something

spirit mantas are also used in the library to reach the memory cubes higher up because that way the scribe would be stable instead of having to flap up and down

spirit mantas are used instead of regular mantas because they are calmer and easier to train

they also grow up quicker and can fly stationary in the air which is great for the confined space of eden

that’s all the like physical world, the rest is the culture and society of my world

Culture/Lore

Families are called flocks and some flocks have a bird as their emblem kinda thing

Memory cubes

the things that line the walls of vault, you can record information in it like a book, you can either record a little hologram like a video or your voice reading out words like an audiobook

they are how sky stores all its information and how they send information thats too much to fit in a letter

King Resh

the King of sky (he’s also the one that caused its downfall but that hasnt happened yet in this world and won’t for a while)

the ruler chosen by Megabird and he oversees all of sky

lives in eden and mainly is in charge of big transportation projects like new boat systems like in dreams and hermit valley

theres a lot more of them in this world due to the fall not happening yet

he also can request the researchers/scribes to look into certain topics like the darkstone/power crystals and such

also gonna have a huge religious role but i have to finish the religion first

Geography

the world is one big island surrounded by ocean

its just a straight line from one realm to the next

Binial is a flat beach

Digarem is rolling hills with lots of rivers and both sides are by the ocean

it gently slopes up as you get further from Binial but you can still reach the ocean easily

Hirthlim is a big forest that starts to slope up more rapidly

there are streams, rivers, ponds, and lakes formed from the water run off from Valem and the constant rain

at the beginning it doesn't rain and you could still kinda reach the ocean below but there's no beach anymore

as you get higher, on the ocean sides is a sheer cliff face with no beach below, just like rocks

Valem is the mountain range that separates Hirthlim and Gaial from each other

you pass through the clouds to reach the snowy peaks of Valem

then there's a kinda steep slope down to Gaial which is closer to the ocean

the sides near the ocean slope down to meet it so fishing can occur here too but rarely does due to most people farming here

then there's the border wall to Empyrean

the villages inside with smaller farms and then the circular city rising up

Darkstone

a mysterious stone that is mined from the mountains

Power crystals-darkstone is refined into a power crystal which is used to power machines like the boats and doors

Theres a job of just refining darkstone

Gives a connection between life and their machines

sky kids bodies are made of light and as they grow up their light get stronger

thats how you gain your cape and more flaps

you gain a lot when you’re younger and then it slows down as you get older til you start losing it

then eventually you lose all your light become extinguished and you turn to ash and scatter in the wind

so its very common for families to take them to their favorite spot so their ashes can be scattered where they love most

basically the rain leeches away your light and so you are slowly drained and if you get extinguished here you just die

Megabird

basically god and the universe and light

its where all things come from and all things go

it created all of sky, people and everything and is a being of pure light

its also semi the sun?

it doesn’t really dictate what people do but is part of sky’s natural rebirth cycle where when anything light dies, their light/soul returns to Megabird to then later be sent back down to sky

its the deity that the spirits and sky kids worship

its who appointed Resh as king

its commonly depicted as a bird in all the murals in sky which is why ive just made it a bird

Megabird is like straight vibing, making the universe but at the same time is the universe but is also traveling through it

its complicated

Megabird is the very fabric of the universe and each atom and plant and animal is made up and created by Megabird

but Megabird is also just a giant bird thing made up of pure light and stars gliding across the galaxies

but like at the same time the trail left behind it is what makes stars and planets and comets and everything

Logic behind why Days of Rainbow and Lights exist is because Megabird is a semi physical being

it cares deeply about all of its creations which is why it returns to check up on Sky twice a year

Rainbow being a brief pass by on its way elsewhere and Lights is Megabird checking in more closely on everything, that its all going well and nothing is horribly corrupted or anything

Jobs

the whole thing about sky is there is no “jobs”

no one is forced to work

you can quit or change jobs because everything is basically an art or a genuine love for what they are doing

some sky kids dont have a profession at all, they are simply wanderers or just like vibing and exploring or staying home with their flock or whatever

Death and Rebirth

you dont die in eden

basically your light returns to Megabird and for a while you are one with it until your feather falls down to sky again

reborn as a new moth; people reborn wont remember their past life nor will people from their past life recognize them but they will have similar characteristics to their past life and sometimes feel deja vu from their past life

skids are rarely reborn while their surviving family is still alive as it takes a while for their feather to be shaken off again so past family and reborn moths rarely exist at the same time and even rarer do they meet

skids dont remember what it was like to be one with Megabird but they know that it is nice and Megabird is kind so people dont fear natural death

when someone dies its a happy sadness because their family knows they are “whole” again and they will return to sky as well as when the family dies, they will meet up with their loved one in Megabird

Moths learn about the rebirth cycle from a young age but in a soft happy way

Spirits-??? still unnamed

arent actually spirits, cause they arent dead yet

basically they were the species Megabird sent down before the sky kids

they've lived in sky a long time before sky kids

they have a very long life span so when we arrive they are tired from their long life which is why they rarely move from the area theyre in

a year to sky kids is like a day to them so they are content to watch us enjoy ourselves and be so lively and free

they still give us the cosmetics and such but its like kinda a spell

like your body is made of light and they are teaching you how to manipulate that light into that specific hair or clothing style

The first time they help guide your light into the right shape so you know how it feels and then you can recreate it

the spirits having the skykids just sit down while they give like a magic lesson lol. One spirit standing with a bunch of lil skykids sitting around them on the ground staring up at them with awe. It’s dark out, and you can clearly see that they are a spirit. The stars are twinkling up in the sky and then they start to demonstrate how to make their hairstyle. The spirit is like “now follow my hand movements” and then they do like a twirly thing with their hands and lights are sparkling around their hands and poof! Wow suddenly a hairstyle! “Now let us go through the movements together. Picture [insert cosmetic here]. Feel your light magic flow through you. Feel it building in between your hands.” The little skykids follow and mimic what the spirit showed them

you can get all the cosmetics, including seasonal cosmetics and past ults

ults are more rare as they are only given by quest givers to those they like or gain their favor

some give out ults more easily than other, everyone has flight ults as Ms Flight gives them out freely but Prophecy or Gratitude’s ults are harder to obtain due to them being more picky/higher standards

Clothing/Cosmetics

because the cosmetics are the spirits teaching you how to manipulate your light, theres no physical object you obtain

if you buy clothes or a mask that another sky kid made, that would be physical and you would have to pick it up and put it on, to replace the spell you’re wearing

if you are wearing a sky kid made cosmetic, you have to take it off like actual clothes

the only cosmetic a sky kid cant make is a new style of hair due to that being pure light and you cant cut that

some of the older sky kids can combine two or three hairs to make a new style, but that takes a lot of discipline and concentration to achieve which is why only older kids can do it

researchers are looking into making new hair style spells but unsuccessful so far

Skids can talk and emotes and calls arent a thing, you can see and talk to people without lighting or friending them

Bc of this you have to actually learn to dance and do the various emotes, you cant just perfectly copy it

Economy

There isnt rlly any

money doesnt exist

usually sky kids will just give things away for free or trade things

like if youre a seamstress and you want a special wood carving you can offer an outfit or something in exchange

people are incredibly kind and if you give them something for free, they will remember it and be sure to pay it back later

Bc of this its next to impossible to be poor

you dont have to buy or pay for a house

if youre down on your luck, people will just help you out, giving you clothes and food, a place to stay for a while so you can look for your own house comfortably

Housing

since sky kids are so nomadic almost? many families will have more than one house in different areas

they have their permanent house which is where they live most of the time and have most of their stuff in

sky kids will have extra, usually smaller houses, in other areas to vacation in or move to if they want a change of scenery for a while or if they travel a lot

they can stay in their extra house while passing through, like a large family could have a big house in village of dreams but then have a beach house in Binial for when they want to adopt a moth or one in Hirthlim to stay in while passing through or maybe they’ll get a house just cause it looks pretty while passing by

houses are free

there are sky kids that just build them for fun and as long as its structurally sound, they can build it however they want

so theres many different types and colors and shapes of houses and lots of empty free ones

if you want a house, you simply need to hang a wreath of flowers on the door to show its claimed and that no one else can have it

every house has basic furniture which is needed because if you a wandering sky kid, you can stay in an empty unclaimed house for a day or two instead of sleeping outside, though some still do that

theres not rlly any hotels, well there is a couple in Valem and Empyrean but you mainly go there as a vacation, to relax and not have to cook your own food or make your own bed or anything

Army

sky doesnt have an army, cause theres nothing to fight

there are people who like spar for fun, like boxing or martial arts or like archery and fencing

most sky kids are trained in basic survival like climbing and fishing, just in case for when they are out exploring or wandering

most people are nice but there are a very very small amount of sky kids that others might need to defend themselves against

Calendar

Normal january to december, 24 hours, monday to sunday system

they have clocks to keep track but nobody really bothers with them

they go off of the sun or moon in the sky and its always a vague time

if they do use a clock, like two friends could agree to meet at like 3 pm and it wouldn't be uncommon for them to actually meet at 3:30-4 pm

scribes in the library are the ones keeping track of the years and major events and such

Holidays

each holiday lasts a month, so there are 12 major holidays

people dont celebrate every single day of the month obviously but it makes it easier to meet far away friends and family and making time for everyone, plus the mood and festivities can continue for longer

most of the holidays are based off of ones already in the game but theres two ive added and ive changed the others to fit better

Days of Fortune-Fortune

January, specifically the first as the big celebration day obvi

theres fireworks and wishing everyone happiness and success

its incredibly popular time to change professions or try something new

moths come down more often in isle as well

Days of Love-Love

February, specifically mid feb

this is when you just let people you know you love them

adoptions and confessions are very common during Love

its a very soft emotional month

Days of Prayer-Prayer

March

this is when everyone thanks Megabird for all its done and wishes it well in it’s journey through the universe

usually they ask for advice or wishes during this month as its rude to do it any other month

this is also generally the month when moths learn more about Megabird and the religion

Days of Bloom-Bloom

April

celebrating the start of spring

the flowers are blooming and the air is sweet

everyone is energized for the coming months

moths born during this time are more playful than most

Days of Nature-Nature

May

everyone takes a little time to appreciate the world they live in and how well it takes care of them and they take care of it

people visit their favorite locations and enjoy the scenery

photo taking and painting/sketching rises dramatically in this month as everyone wants a memory of where they’ve been

Days of Rainbow-Rainbow

June

rainbows appear frequently around the world of sky

due to the fact that Megabird flies in front of the sun and the rainbows are a sliver of its brilliance reflected on the world

Days of Sovereign-Sovereign

July

this was the month that either Resh was born or made king, depending who you ask

generally people send gifts to him as thanks or be grateful for the services he provides such as the boat transportation system and the researchers

Days of Summer-Summer

August

the crops are growing and being harvested food is plentiful

it's a time for long days of hard rewarding work and storing the food away for feast

sky kids that arent farmers come to help them with either temporary labor or taking care of them after the long days in the fields

Days of Lights-Lights

September

Megabird draws closer to Sky so everyone’s light grows brighter so for this month people start glow

the glow starts at the beginning of sept grows brighter and then mid month starts to dim so by the end of sept everyone is normal again

moths born in this month naturally glow a little year round and is the brightest sky kids during lights, makes them very easy to spot

Days of Mischief-Mischief

October

time for funny pranks and tricks

everyone can dress up and be a little crazy

it's a giggley time and people are relaxing after the harvest

Days of Remembrance-Remembrance

November

this is when people remember those who are gone

its days of the dead type thing

its a sad kind of happy, cause they know their loved ones are safe and well and theyll see them again and it isnt forever, theyll return to sky one day

they cooked their favorite foods and visit their favorite places and tell stories and memories about them

its a very mellow time

Days of Feast-Feast

December

they've celebrated their lost family now time to celebrate their current family

huge huge meals

people coming from all over to meet up, gifts are given and merry times are had

Basically you have Remembrance with remembering your dead family and friends, then Feast with appreciating your living family and friends and then Fortune where you look forward to new family and friends to come

Realm specific holidays

Binial- they celebrate every time a new moth is born of, they make sure to mark down the exact date and time so the moth can always know when to celebrate; they also celebrate fortune extra hard

Digarem- celebrates when a group of mantas completes training or there is a particularly big catch of fish

Hirthlim doesnt have many forest specific celebrations, sometimes flight will have a “theres no mail for a few days lets chill” celebration

sometimes older vets will go out and dance in particularly heavy rainfalls

some specific artisan groups will celebrate the completion of a big project or a particularly good mine from the caves

but the only forest wide celebration seems to be the quiet mourning that comes with finding someone turned to ash too early

Valem has so many celebrations that people physically can't celebrate them all so they just celebrate what's important to them, there's sports celebrations and arts celebrations and family ones

Gaial also doesn’t have many celebrations just the first planting, first harvest, end of growing, last harvest, everything stored til feast

Empyrean has a random assortment of celebrations, most of them religious or related to the researchers/scribes, i never finished the religion so maybe i should do that lol

Food

basically there's a lot of fish and crab dishes

there's food crabs and pet crabs but pet crabs get a distinct marking painted on their back so people know not to eat it

Crabs aren't corrupted yet and thus are passive

but those are the only meats in sky, so its mostly vegetarian foods and such

they do have eggs from birds but they grow like corn and sugar and wheat and rice and such

how it works

basically everything is made/grown with light from the sun which is Megabird so food is what helps grow and maintain your light

when sky kids are younger the effects are more obvious, they gain more stars on their back and cape strength

when they get older and this slows down, food helps maintain the amount of light u have and basically like slows the aging process

because aging is just losing your stars and food makes that happen slower so food is vital to growth and maintaining a sky kids light

people also tend to eat a lot more often in forest to survive the draining rain and replenish their light so it's less likely they'll die and can stand out in the rain longer

Arts

Every art is revered

Everyone plays their part and enjoys what they do and its incredibly important because it’s what people fill their lives with

Theres no job to do, no money to worry about, no school that you must attend so people have time to fill with whatever arts they chose

Spirits do still hand out music sheets to those who ask but they don’t make new ones

Sky kids can and do create new sheets to share with others

W a close friend who constantly does or almost does something stupid

Close friend definitely has hearing problems from how many times they misheard stuff like

"Go carts?" "..." "..." "...I said vocals." "oh"

Forgets stuff, like, there was this one time where they were searching for their phone using their phone's flashlight

"Have I told you this before?" Yes they have, about 5 times or maybe more in fact, they're veryyy forgetful

BUT despite that they're tremendously smart in different areas, just incredibly forgetful at times which is most of the time

In my defense, it's been three days since I slept

Batman Unburied Edward Nygma X Reader

A platonic piece! I love writing for them omg thank you for this request! This following piece is inspired by things that happened to me so, now you have an idea how stupid this bitch can be.

💚 He loves you, oh he loves you... But seeing you somehow trip on your own feet and somehow land in a canal made him undergo an asthma attack from laughing too hard. After getting his inhaler, he might just grab your hand and pull you out of it (after wiping it with a towel and spraying a hefty amount of sanitizer).

Then you somehow slip and fall back again. He laughs again, almost kills himself in the process, recovers, then helps you back again.

That's it. That's the relationship in a nutshell. And boy, does he always laugh when he's with you.

💚 And it never gets old, fucking hell you find ways in how to be so damn unpredictable when it comes to these things. Sometimes you'd be as agile as a cat, but sometimes you would be so damn clumsy... Like a cat. Huh, two sides of the same coin.

It's fun to watch you, he knows when to laugh and when not to, as he's been friends with you for so long. There are times the laughing was a mere instinct in the midst of a tumultuous moment upon attempting to register what he just saw or to at least alleviate tensions... Sometimes that laughter takes a few minutes as he replays what he had saw.

💚 But in his defense! He always helps you up... And lets out a snicker. And will later remind you of said events and watch embarrassment flood your features upon recalling it, then your mind starts to drift back to the faces of strangers looking at you weirdly for tripping at nothing.

It's top tier entertainment for Edward. He's a good friend, I swear

"Remember that time you walked into a glass door?"

"Not now, Ed," You wince when he brought it up, remembering how you burned under the scrutiny of onlookers. Not to mention, it left a nasty welt and a bruise to be reminded of it.

"Then when you to find the door, you ended up walking through another glass?"

"FUCK OFF!"

💚 Anyways, not only that, as your mind tends to run during the day and what came of it, were random blurts of words Edward finds absolute golden.

What the fuck was running in your mind that you'd pause in the middle of a task, stare off into the void and let your thoughts run... Edward interrupts your train of thought with a randomness of his own, resulting you to say the most random threads of questionable, yet entertaining semantics.

💚 Here's a little example:

Of course, you were once again staring into space and Edward saw the perfect opportunity to make you jump out of your wits. Your back was turned against him, it was perfect for him to catch you off guard.

Light as a feather, he takes gentle steps as to not disrupt you of your daydream yet. His hands were held out with malicious intent, and slowly, he closes in on you...

"BAH!" he exclaims, hands grasping your shoulder.

"AH 'XPLODING PUSSIES!"

... he does not have an inkling of idea of what you were thinking about, but god continue being such an intriguing little klutz.

💚 Mishearing things are a common occurrence if you're as dumbly deep in day dream as me. Here's an example:

There was a celebration of sorts hosted by Penguin, Edward recalls making you tag along because, according to him, would help ward off people with romantic intentions, hoping the sight of you by his side without confirming anything would successfully dismay them. Edward did not mention the fact that he can't stand some of the guests there and with you being there makes it more bearable.

You didn't mind, you yourself attended the event with personal intention... Namely, the cute performer by the name of Darius Chapel performing in the Iceberg Lounge that night. The darling of the crowd himself.

Well, you were dressed to the nine's, even garnering Edward's approval... Meaning, he was less critical about your fashion choices but I digress— you looked so fucking bomb.

You were seated at a table with Edward, along with a few guests. The most important man, Oswald Cobblepot, just seated beside you. Eventually, Darius came to join the table after performing and you were a sight to behold, giggling like a little school girl with their school girl crush and school girl daze and school girl day dream.

"Another great year. I propose a toast!" One of the guest raises their glass.

"Cheers!"

In your simping head, make up an appearance, you suddenly sat up from your seat, which had everyone in the table glance at you with furrowed brows. They watch you step away from your seat and walk away. All glanced at Edward, who was only as confused as they were when you returned to the table carrying a stack of monoblock chairs.

"What are those?" Edward questions.

"Chairs."

A short laugh was pulled from his throat before he can even respond. "Honey, he said 'cheers' not chairs."

... No one has let you live it down.

💚 When he laughs with you during your little accidents, there's still the underlying sense of concern he has for you. He hopes you know he cares, even after he is laughing up a storm that he triggers an asthma attack.

So after you trioo for the umpteenth time, it's expected he laughs, helps you to your feet, and does the 'lovingly calls you an idiot while patching you up' kind of thing, even throwing in reassurances... Or his way of reassurances.

"I am so dumb, oh my god. What the fuck did I tripped on? Nothing!"

"Oh don't worry. No one saw you this time, I promise!"

"That doesn't even make it less worse!"

💚 This Edward is less of an elitist in terms of intelligence compaired to his other counterparts, he is more understanding about how some people are more intelligent in their ways. He also does not go out of his way to make others feel bad and put himself on a pedestal because of it.

Because of your nature to trip over nothing and stare into space and lost in your train of thoughts, others have tendancies to call you names... Which Edward fucking hated, because he knows you're more than the stumbling idiot everyone assume you as.

I firmly believe that he would be that friend that will subtly set up a scene that he knows you'll fucking dominate. So he'll put up a riddle he knows you can answer and watch in satisfaction as the others jaws drop at the sight of you answering that riddle without a second thought, and being fucking correct.

💚 In the end, he loves you because you make him laugh.
