Hello! I’m Ladders :)

I'm just here stylizing some fnaf characters and mostly drawing the evil green rabbit like an animated villain.

Basically, I always loved animated shows and movies. They're why I started drawing when I was little, and I still watch and pull ideas from that kind of stuff to this day. Classic Disney's my fav, so you might see me talking about it sometimes. Anyways, since villains are my favorite and since I've starting drawing fnaf stuff, it's mainly been art of Springtrap, which you'll see a lot here.

Q: What art program do you use? Krita. It's free and it "works," which is all I ask for.

Q: Do you do commissions? This answer will change around: currently, no. I've been meaning to, honestly, but just haven't felt collected enough to make a comm sheet and whatnot. Hopefully I'll be able to update this soon though.

Q: What are your other socials? I currently don't have any others, so if you see my art somewhere else, it's stolen :)

Q: Why do you draw [insert character] like that? I normally get this question about Springtrap, but I like to make designs that lend themselves more to 2D animation, which means simplifying a lot of things and hopefully still being able to get the point across. Too much detail and it becomes complicated very quickly. Fnaf animatronics/characters lend themselves really nicely to stylization because of how simple in concept they are overall. They're also left up to a lot of different characterization potential, not just from their simple designs, but the fact that they don't really get super hard-established personalities. Basically, all of that comes together into me enjoying taking a base concept and turning it into something you could potentially see in some older hand-drawn cartoon. As far as *specific* choices for how I draw *specific* characters, I feel like those would each need their own posts especially for Springtrap since I draw him the most. I know I'll have to make that sometime.

Q: Can I draw fanart of your designs? Of course! I'd just like to be credited and tagged so I can see it and reblog it :D

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

A: I (almost) exclusively take payment through PayPal. I'm in the US, so I will be receiving my payment in USD. If you're from outside the US, please factor in conversion rates. It's not my job to help you with this. I'm also okay with payment through my Kofi, but will request a few extra dollars to cover the fees.

Q: What's your turnaround rate?

A: More often than not, I'll get a commission done within a week. Obviously, depending on how many commissions I have on my plate, this can vary, but I will always keep you updated and say beforehand if I'm a bit backed up.

Q: Can I use my commission for my YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.?

A: Absolutely! So long as you aren't actively profiting directly from the commission by selling it (I.E., as stickers or on shirts), you can use it however you want! If you do want to use a commission for merchandise, we can work something out for that specifically.

Q: Can I make edits to my commission after I receive it?

A: Sure! I don't really care, it's yours after all. I just ask that you specify that any edits you make are by you when reposting or sharing the edited picture. (Ex: "This picture was a commission done by necro-hamster! He did the lineart, and I colored it in later.")

Q: Do you do deadlines?

A: Absolutely! If you want something done by a certain date, we can totally work something out. Depending on the deadline you're asking for, this may come with an extra fee. For instance, if you want something done in two days, and I have several other comms on my plate, I can bump you to the front of the list for a hefty fee. But, if you just ask me to finish something easy up by the end of the month, and I don't have much else piled up, I probably won't charge you.

Art update:

I’ve opened commissions again for the next two months (October-November 2023). The last one in my queue is nearly finished, and I’m excited to share it — though I’ll have to crop the tumblr version substantially. I’ve also been working on tutorial content for digital painting. Monie’s been poking me for years to do one on sheer fabric, and I’m trying to edit that between other tasks. I’ve thought about doing one for scars as well — is there anything you struggle with that you’d be interested to see a tutorial or tip-sheet for?

In terms of personal work I’ve struggled to connect with my digital painting in the last few months, so I’ve been working more with traditional mediums. I love watercolour, I’ve been fiddling with my oil pastels since I don’t want them to go bad (they keep for about 3 years past opening, apparently) and I’ve wanted to try oil painting for years. Last week I finally took the leap and bought some water soluble oil paints: pictured above is my first attempt with them.

Oil paints are slippery little bastards — I had a teacher tell me “it’s like painting with colourful mud” over a decade ago when discussing them, and that sort of prepared me. I finally get it. They move constantly, even if it looks dry it’s likely not, I have no idea what I’m doing, disposal is a pain, I am wrong at every step, and I love them. Oil painting looks so cool! It’s so much easier to rework than acrylics! This is not always a good thing! I’m having a great time :)

Naturally, upon getting a new and notoriously difficult medium, I dispensed with looking up guides (surely things I watched or read months and years ago are sufficient for right now?) and sat down to screw around with the paints a few evenings ago. This resulted in a muddy mess even with a limited palette, but I’m a toxic goblin who doesn’t learn, so I shrugged and started working with the muddy tones to try and fix it.

@silverscalestudios was kind enough to give me a quick and dirty explanation on workflow when they found out what I was doing. Thank you again for that! I spent a while last night reading about various forms of underpainting because of you, and will give brunaille a try. I knew underpaintings were a thing but I didn’t know *why* or how important they really are — it didn’t occur to me the oil colours would be so transparent. Hopefully the next picture will be a little bit neater as a result of your intervention — thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me about it!

I found some useful videos on YouTube as well, but I’m struggling with colour temperature shifts. Some studies might be in order.

As usual I’m not satisfied with anything I do for long. My current goals are to learn more of the body’s simplified muscle groups, simplify my compositions more, and make more illustrations with character interaction as the focus. Also, I guess, to gain some competence with the mediums I’m playing with — but that’s a bonus more than a goal. Oil pastels especially are just so pleasant to work with that even if I hate the result, the process is too enjoyable to complain. And failure is how we learn.

Potentially useful tip, buried for anyone who read this far: assign yourself studies for the projects you’re currently working on. This took me far too long to learn, but if you struggle with doing general studies for the sake of them, do them to prep for a specific painting instead. If you suspect something will be difficult (the hand gesture, the colour scheme, lighting, expression, whatever) grab or make some ref and doing a couple of studies, so you can fail quickly and make ugly versions. It’s a huge timesaver when it comes to the final piece. My big, detailed paintings usually take 10-20 hours, so I’d like to get any difficult elements sorted before I start whenever possible.

For an example of studies for a painting: the four roughly scribbled Letho’s in coloured pencil on this post — those were done after I had my composition sketched onto the canvas, to figure out what I wanted to do for colours. And I’m glad I did! I tried the analogous scheme on a whim, and if I hadn’t done this study, I’d have played it safe and gone with a mostly neutral palette. Next time I’ll also do some lighting studies so I have a detailed plan for those before I start painting. Traditional media in general involves a lot more concrete planning than digital, and working with it is underscoring how many bad habits I have — especially with massively reworking paintings mid-process.

I did have a photo reference I was using for this painting (one of the images from the rogue warrior reference pack by Noah Bradley) with the lighting and hair modified to try to resemble something I’d seen another digital artist do, and by awkwardly tilting an asaro head in my kitchen to figure out how the lighting would work. There’s a relatively common lighting scheme in anime-esque art where just the tip of the nose is lit. It’s cute, but playing with the asaro head, I found that the top half of the area around the mouth should also catch at least a bit of light. The lighting ended up being repainted into something more standard for this, but you can see the triangle of light on the upper mouth area in the wips.

Life update:

Well, it was a nice run, but spouse and I finally caught corona last month >< that was horrible. I got lucky, in that I only had for a week or so and it was a mild case. Now I’ve mostly recovered except for a cough. “Mild” is still probably the sickest I’ve been in my life. Do not recommend. Will be going for the booster as soon as I’m able to, I do not want that shit ever again.

I’ve been doing a bunch of new things like sashiko (satisfying), trying to make pie crust (hard! But delicious, and the ingredients are cheap enough that I don’t cry over failure. Please give making pie crust a try, if you haven’t, it’s really not that complicated — the recipe I’m using only calls for 3-4 ingredients, and it’s so versatile. We’ve had like four quiches in the last week and a half) and trying to cook more. Adulting is hard. I’m also considering more decorative embroidery attempts, because I’m reentering my goth phase and want to customise my clothes with little mushrooms and skulls :) it would be cute.

About the cats:

Cloud is cancer-free! She has to get rechecks every three months, but the little monster made it. She celebrates by trying to sleep with her butthole on my face, which is terrible. I love her dearly. I wish she would stop with the butthole thing though.

Sheik is currently taking her turn as the cat with medical problems. She couldn’t eat for a few days and the vet rushed us in when we called. The vet came in and informed me that she wasn’t eating… because she had gas. It’s in her small intestine, which isn’t supposed to have gas in it for cats? Good job, you little weirdo. She’s getting further checks or it this month.

We also adopted an adolescent cat. He’s bonded very well with Tez, whom our other cats — well, they don’t hate him, but they’re a bit aloof. Tez is very big and a bit like a bowling ball with teeth, and most of our cats are old (or Jetta, who is full of bitter hate) and do not appreciate being tackled by said bowling ball. The kitten loves him, and Tez seems much happier for the company. He’s more gentle with kittens than adults. Not all of the cats are thrilled, but our oldest queens have accepted the kitten, so it should be smoother sailing from here. Unfortunately they like to play at 8am, so I am suddenly on an adult sleep schedule for the first time since working from home. Nothing like a teenage cat launching himself onto your abdomen to get the day started :) They were yelling at each other as I typed this, but now he’s laying beside me like a prince. … and attacking my cardigan. Nevermind.

Currently trying to find more ways to install cat climbs and enrichment, since we’re running out of corners for cat trees. Debating the merits of a cat run — we have very tall walls, which is neat but also I don’t trust these guys not to fall off. If we could spring for a modular system that would be neat.

If you’re getting two cats, pro tip: get two with similar coat patterns but different sizes. You will hate yourself. It’s very funny, and you can disorient any house guests!

Len model finished !! His video was suppose to be a black background like rin's was, but i got a little carried away.. Just like Rin, check below for the model progress timeline and video credits !!

Turning Rin into Len ! I'm lazy and i want these two to look very similar, so i just edited rins face and body. Time elapsed: 00:34:53 (his head isn't smaller i just didn't screenshot well.)

2. Struggled drawing Len's hair ! I wouldn't normally include this part in my time, but like. fuck len. tumblr helped pick which one i used of these two blue prints. Time elapsed: 01:07:00

3. Len hair finished ! Why does this man hate me ! Time elapsed: 02:46:44 (almost two hours, huh..)

4. Body rig ! Unlike rin, I decided to rig len from scratch. This is because his base is too different from anyone else's to get away with weight transferring. (significantly shorter than kaito / gackpo, but with a different body shape than rin.) So here's a gif of his silly little arm movin. Time elapsed: 04:08:32

5. Hair Rig / Physics. For all the models (except rin) I've done their hair rig / physics right after rigging the body. This is mostly so i can have a fully optimized base to work off of later when making outfits. For rin i just.. forgot to do her hair lol. anyway time elapsed: 04:34:30

6. Outfit Designing. I didn't time this for rin since that timing was more for commission reference sake, and more clients won't have me designing their stuff. so it wouldn't have made sense to include it. but here we are. Rough outfit sketch. Fuck drawing headphones. Time elapsed: 05:06:05 for all my original models, the concept was more or less blending their design aspects together. (with the exception of gackpo, who's only difference between updates is colors and slight hair changes.)

7. Outfit modeling ! He went pretty easy, since It was just a matter of making parts i already did for Rin. So anything I struggled with last time, i had practice for. Time Elapsed: 7:50:25

8. UV Mapping. I included this step into texturing last time, but I felt like separating it this time around. Basically, i unwrapped all the UVs for the model and laid them out on a texture sheet to draw over. From what i've seen, a lot of people do this differently / in different orders? like they might uv map and then immediately texture the shirt, before moving onto the next piece of clothing. But texturing (using my tablet in general) hurts my shoulders typically, so i try to get it all out of the way at once. So i uvmap before even pulling the tablet out. Time elapsed: 8:50:48

9. Texturing. My neck hurts ! Time Elapsed: 11:40:19

10. Extruding, triangulating, exporting.. and then spas / toons. i think last time i included the extruding / triangulating in meta under texturing? But i've decided to break it up this time. Basically, i add depth to parts of the outfit, manually turn quads into triangles on tricky sections (like shoulders and hips) so they're easier to rig. Basically getting it ready for pmx before i export it. Time elapsed : 12:45:23 (left is unextruded / mirrored, right is extruded with the mirroring fixed.)

11. Rigging adjustments and physics ! Basically, used the weight transfer plugin to transfer the weight onto the outfit to match the base. I then cleaned the rig up and added bones / physics for parts that needed them. Time elapsed: 13:40:25

12. Cleaned ! Honestly there wasn't much to do, since most of the cleaning (like renaming bones) carried over from Rin.

Total time elapsed: 13:41:56 !!

Significantly less time than Rin, but that's honestly to be expected. Overall three days worth of work? Since I didn't. actually work on him much the first day.

I've also discovered that my models shoulders tend to disagree with game rip motions (which is why they look so. sharp. in the video), though i've noticed other models doing this as well.. it occurs since most motion rips don't use the rotate bones, but mine are made with those in mind. Kind of annoying, but maybe i can find a work around.

Final thoughts??? He might be my favorite original model right now honestly. I really like him. I might even distribute him and Rin, with expressions to remove their headphones and arm warmers.

I am a 21 y/o artist and student from Poland, I am unemployed. I need money for fulfilling my art projects i dreamed about since i was a child. it's not really urgent or anything, but i just want to finally be able to create and tell things I want through my art

the projects i am currently working on are:

my comic on webtoon- story i have been working on since i was 14

my songs! i've written a lot of songs which i want to produce and actually publish +make some cool mvs

overall my youtube channel which is kind of dead but i want to start video essays regarding mental health  

I need money so I can actually pursue those projects. I want to fix my guitar, pay my friends for producing my music, want to promote my art (boosting posts etc)

I've suffered from depression since I was 12. I've developed avoidance and anxiety personality disorder and social phobia.  It has always been hard for me to interact with people even through the internet cause i am just simply scared. i am scared of my close friends, family and it is just really hard to live at this point

i had a job till the end of last year. When I was working there i was too tired to do anything that actually made me happy. last summer i was in psych ward because i just was too harsh on myself cause i was working and going to uni at the same time

so it is kind of: if i get a job i will have money- but i will be too tired to create anything 

to be honest, the only thing keeping me alive was the thought that one day i actually might live the life of an artist. the life that i am able to do things i actually enjoy

cause for the past years i've been stuck in the same place of doing what people want from me and not what i actually want. i didn't have a chance to say what i want to say

the things i am creating are deeply related to mental health issues. i want to create things that might help people find comfort in them, to create something they can relate to. it might sound cliche but i really believe that it is not the casual s(he's) br(ok)en type of stuff, i try to do a lot of research, talk with other people to understand how they feel

a lot of people are telling me that my words help them and i want to do that. i want to help people by doing what i can do best

i might be oversharing, but it is just, i never had a chance to speak out loud what i want to say. and art was the only way for me to show how i feel

but it also is painful when the creations you poured your soul into is made for no one 

so i would be really happy if you would buy my art to support me 

and maybe help me live the life i've dreamed about since i was a child

My Plans For A Ko-fi Shop

So, as I've mentioned before, I'm planning to open a Ko-fi page sometime in the coming couple of months, and this post is going to serve as an FAQ (of sorts) for what I'm planning. I'll make a new post when the shop opens that I will keep continually updated with new info.

To keep this from clogging people's dashes, more info is under the cut!

To start: this blog isn't changing, it will remain mostly a casually-toned fiber arts, pixel art, and cute animal blog. I'll still be reblogging other people's work, making personal posts, and all that jazz. I'll just also post shop updates.

So, what exactly am I going to be selling? At first, mostly digital downloads of pixel art -- some lock screens and desktop backgrounds for sure, maybe some icon packs too. I will also be selling some of my crocheted mushrooms, but the supply here will be limited, because they are physical items and I am only one person (and I'm a multiply disabled person at that).

My future plans for the shop include pixel art sticker sheets, buttons, and comic prints, but we'll have to see. I may also sell larger crocheted goods, but again, that will depend.

I will not be offering commissions for the foreseeable future. The shop is, essentially, a place for me to sell things I would be making regardless of the shop's existence. I do not want to work on commissions, I want to make art for me and also sell it online. I'm not entirely ruling out commissions at some point in the future, but if I ever do offer them, know it will be sporadic, limited availability, and likely specific to my tastes at the time.

I will likely be attending various New England conventions and craft fairs at some point in the next year or two, especially since I have friends who table at some already in and around Boston. At these events I plan to sell various physical items, including some that may not be available in my online shop.

Once again, this is early planning right now -- I'm currently stocking up on mushrooms and making a bunch of lock screens so that my shop won't be mostly empty when it launches.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for all the support I've received these past few years. The fiber arts and pixel art communities here on Tumblr have been really important to me, and I truly cannot thank the kind people involved enough.

Things to know before commissioning me:

- I take payment upfront. No exceptions.

- I do full refunds if I haven’t started or have barely started. I refund half after the sketch is completed. No refunds after lineart is completed.

- If you want major changes to the commission after the lines are done, then I have the right to charge you extra.

- I have the right to refuse any commission. I have the right to stop working on any commission for any reason (I will refund you fully).

- I will give you updates. You can ask for updates whenever you want.

- I absolutely encourage you to work with me throughout the process. Tell me exactly how you want your piece! I want it to turn out how you expect. I need expectations set perfectly clear. This helps me a lot!! Ask for as many changes as you’d like in the sketching/planning phase to avoid complications later on.

Ask me about shading or adding extra characters! I can absolutely do these, it just depends.

I primarily do lineart only or flat colored art. I can add simple color backgrounds (including gradients) or free use photos. You can also provide me photos you own if you want!

I can draw pretty much anything. I do not draw NSFW, heavy gore, hate content, or offensive content. If you have questions, please ask.

I have work, school, and I get sick often so I only have so much effort to expend on art. I try my best to get done art as fast as I can, while also giving you the quality you deserve.

TERMS OF SERVICE;

- My work is not to be used as an N//F//T. - My work is not to be used commercially. If you want to use my work for sale, we can work that out, but if you don’t explicitly commission me with this purpose, you can’t use my work on merchandise, advertisements, etc. - You may request up to two large changes in the sketching phase. (Ex; entirely redrawing the character.) I have the right to cancel the commission and keep any money paid to me if this rule is not respected. - Do not claim the work as your own. If you post it anywhere else, including in edits of any kind, link back to my social media. - If your commission is above $49, I require half payment up front, and half once the job is completed. - I do not accept refunds. COMMON QUESTIONS;

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

A: I exclusively take payment through PayPal. I'm in the US, so I will be receiving my payment in USD. If you're from outside the US, please factor in conversion rates. It's not my job to help you with this.

Q: What's your turnaround rate?

A: More often than not, I'll get a commission done within a week. Obviously, depending on how many commissions I have on my plate, this can vary, but I will always keep you updated and say beforehand if I'm a bit backed up.

Q: Can I use my commission for my YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.?

A: Absolutely! So long as you aren't actively profiting directly from the commission by selling it (I.E., as stickers or on shirts), you can use it however you want! If you do want to use a commission for merchandise, we can work something out for that specifically.

Q: Can I make edits to my commission after I receive it?

A: Sure! I don't really care, it's yours after all. I just ask that you specify that any edits you make are by you when reposting or sharing the edited picture. (Ex: "This picture was a commission done by necro-hamster! He did the lineart, and I colored it in later.")

Q: Do you do deadlines?

A: Absolutely! If you want something done by a certain date, we can totally work something out. Depending on the deadline you're asking for, this may come with an extra fee. For instance, if you want something done in two days, and I have several other comms on my plate, I can bump you to the front of the list for a hefty fee. But, if you just ask me to finish something easy up by the end of the month, and I don't have much else piled up, I probably won't charge you.

Commissions Open!!!

Hello everyone, my name's Marcy!

I am an Uruguayan, bisexual and non-binary artist!

I am finally having the time to open commissions to work on art!

Her'es how pricing will work...

Currency are on dollars! Please make sure to adjust your amount to it when paying, though if you want we can discuss a different price for special reasons!

headshot/Profile will be 10

Half-body wil be a 15

Full body are 20

Then, i'll add some price depending on the level of detail, to make it simple, i put it like this

Line art/Black and White don't have any extra

Colored will be just +2 dollars to the price!

Shaded will be an extra +2 too! Technically you can do shaded without colored but.. yeah, that'd be a bit weird lmao

And lastly, background, and it'll depend on how complex, really. If it's a single color, gradiant or otherwise very simple shapes and colors, i won't add extra, but! If it's something more complex, like a scenario or such, i might then consider addign an extra +5 dollars, but we can discuss it!

There's also two special ones separate from this "system", "Scenes", that is, a piece depicting an event, sene or otherwise dynamic thing with characters doing actions, like escaping from an explosion, floating in space or whatever, i think you get a good idea! Because those i ocnsider very complex and time consuming, i'll price them at 50, which is, to me, the fair amiount for the amount of time and specially effort that needs to go for these!

The other are Reference Sheets, usually for characters but can be for other things! These tend to be a bit simpler, because it's just the character or object, the color pallette, name, creator and maybe some info, usually a simple background too, so i'll price them at 30!

There's also technically a third, which i'll call "Meme comms", essentially, these are just 21 dollars, they are basically art done to reference a specific meme, base or such that i'm asked, so it's not "serious" art, more so done for funsies, like, say, being commissioned by someone to draw a picture of their cat OC over one of the many crying cat pics floating about! Why 21? Well it's just a funny number!

This, to clarify, means if you pay for a reference for example, you'll pay just 30 regardless if it's shaded, colored, with a complex background, etc.!

As for how procedure goes, i'll keep you updated, we'll talk on DMs, i will NOT accpet payment UNTIL the piece is ready, in which case, you will pay, and then i'll send you the file once the payment arrives. This is to avoid having the rug pulled under me, and also because, if either party wants to cancel for whatever reason, there'll be a lot of time to cancel. Note, if you cancel when the piece is basically finished, i likely won't give you the file, because then i'd just be giving it to you for free which... is shady, and not cool

I won't draw NSFW, mainly outo f lack of skill really, though i can draw suggestive! I won't draw gore, or well, organ-related gore and such, i can do blood, spooky and body horror of other kinds! I will also decline a piece if i feel it encourages ideals i don't agree with, or if you yourself have conflicting ideals with mine, and i hold all the rights to cancel for whatever reason, as would you too.

I'll have 5 slots open across my social media, and i'll post an update post once the five slots are taken! If i can, i'll also have it on my profiles, so you all will be well informed!

Weekly Update March 8, 2024

I didn’t do as much as I had hoped over spring break due to still being sleep deprived, but tomorrow and the next night I should be able to catch up. I’m making a good deal of progress on stuff.

I figured out animation with Clip Studio enough to make a little gif of Romeo playing piano, to go along with his theme. I’m really happy with how it came out. That’s the biggest song I have ready, but I’m really close on another (unless I decide to get more ambitious, which I might), and I do have a smaller one scheduled to go up Tuesday. I’m feeling surprisingly good about music.

The main problem I’m having is kind of a ‘just finish it’ thing, where I’m just not motivated to go record melodies or melody parts for whatever reason. That’s what’s holding back a couple pieces now, but I’m hoping that I can do some tonight or tomorrow. I’m thinking tonight because I got hit with inspiration for another character theme melody, and I don’t want to lose it while I sleep tonight, but I’d feel bad starting in that when another character theme and some other miscellaneous pieces are also awaiting melodies and recordings. I’d like to knock a whole bunch out tonight, because theoretically they shouldn’t be that bad, the annoying part is dressing them up for use which doesn’t need to be done tonight. Im not sure if I want to tonight because I also want to draw, at a minimum I’ll record that character theme melody.

The other big music thing is a vocaloid cover of a song that I’m using to test out how vocaloid works. I got the audio back from the friend with the voicebanks, and it sounds a lot better than expected! There’s a couple things I do want to tweak, but I don’t think I’d be able to do it from within the program, it’ll probably be more me fiddling with the wav file. Idk song is going surprisingly well, shouldn’t be very complicated to round up instruments, I already got all the plugins set up it’s just a matter of recording. I’ve also managed to find a guy in my area who offers Guitar lessons for cheap, which I’ve been taking and I do think the two I’ve been to are helping. Maybe if I get really brazen I can record organic guitar instead of using a vst, since it should be mostly or entirely power chords, but it’s not the end of the world if I can’t.

I do want to figure out visuals to go with it. I was a little hesitant to really put in a big effort with it, until I heard that buying a license for cover rights is ‘not actually that expensive’. I don’t know if that means 10 or 200 bucks but worst case I can hold onto it until I’m comfortable enough to drop money if it’s really that expensive. I’d like to do a simple music video with the vocaloid character, since the original song’s video is also really simple, although I need to figure out character design. Might throw a few together and put up a poll.

I’ve been trying to get more drawing stuff done too, some miscellaneous animations mostly. I’m really trying to push myself to finish up the timings I need for my commission sheet, and honestly I’m pretty close. I feel bad because I probably will have to increase prices after all, but I’m also offering other options, which can still be cheap. I’m trying not to undercut myself for my level of work, but art commissions are so expensive that I don’t want to be overcharging either. Most of the comms I have done have come with tips, so I guess people are willing to pay a bit more than I was charging anyway, but even then I don’t want to crank the prices high just because a few people are willing to pay more. I’m charging based on time, I just need to sort out how long things take.

Final point, comic writing/thumbnailing is going well, I’m at 25.5/32. Unsure how bad editing is going to be, but I’m kinda editing as I go along so I don’t anticipate it’ll be that bad. I’m expecting to be able to actually start making pages soon. What comes next could either be a continuation or a pitch for the other story. I get more questions about the other story, so I’m tempted, but I also feel like it’s a harder sell than the first. Whatever I need to finish the first one first, and that’s what I’ll do.

I’m still messed up on sleep and flareups are also picking up pretty bad, but only in the mornings, so I bet if I get more sleep they’ll go away too. Either way I do have a consult for the next surgery to deal with that in a couple months, so I should hopefully be okay. Plan tonight is to either draw some more or record some stuff
