Heaven didn't even CONSIDER that it could have come from a source other than their LITERAL supreme archangel. And we can't be sure, but it's highly unlikely that just any old angel and demon pair would be able to accomplish a miracle of the same magnitude.

We may not know what the future holds for them, but they stopped the world ending once already, and Aziraphale and Crowley have proven across 6000 years that their love is powerful enough to overcome. It's not over until the Nightingale sings again.
