I think my favorite thing about Vincent from deadplate is you can read Vincent as a gay aromantic. Who, because he cannot experience romantic love, he tries to formulate A love into food but it becomes superficial.
It looks beautiful but tastes like nothing. And to Rody, someone who can feel romantic attraction, can tell it’s superficial and avoid this love that feels forced and muted. It’s so cool,,,

it’s so easy to fall in love at a my chemical romance show. to fall in love with the people you’re queueing with, platonically infatuated with the way a band can bring together a community of new friends. to hear stories about how far people travelled for four guys who bring comfort and hope to many. to wake up every 40 minutes of the night on the cold concrete, next to people you just met. to overhearing conversations about the band, about the experience, about the excitement your line neighbors feel about seeing this band for the 1st, 5th, or 20th time. falling in love with the ambient sounds of the city and traffic as it dies down and turns into night life, looking up where the stars would be if the sky wasn’t so polluted with artificial light. the way it feels to journey across venue grounds, regroup in line next to your new friends and wait for doors. finally getting inside, only to look to your left and right and see the people that you’ve spent only a short time with happy crying, over barricade, or pit, or buying their first official tour merch. falling in love with the adrenalin rush, and the free flowing tears when the curtain drops. the cathartic feeling of everything you are worried about becoming insignificant in that moment, and in the next, and in the next after that until the lights come back up. the inevitable drop in your gut when you realize it’s over, and then you have to determine what comes next. for me, i’ll wait until the next, and hopefully when the next comes, i’ll get to fall in love all over again.

sometimes i like to think that in the very beginning, just for a little bit, haymitch cared for his victors more than anything. he’d just lost everyone he’d ever loved so he pours everything into these kids because they’re all he has left.
i think he corrected capital sponsors when they pronounced their names incorrectly and tried to apologize to their parents when he came home. he asked them their hobbies and ordered their favorite foods because no one else treated them like human beings, and he knows what it’s like to feel like a lone caged animal in the capital.
i think he fought to give them a modicum of peace, and spent any chance at victory he could scrounge on them only to watch them die anyways.
as years went on haymitch found his version of peace at bottom of his glass and refused to learn anything about his tributes, much less their names. he purposefully isolated himself from district 12 to eliminate any chance of having been attatched to a kid, so he wouldn’t have to face their families.
i think that haymitch spent decades watching children die knowing he couldn’t do anything to stop it, knowing he was sending them to their doom, and he couldn’t handle it. district twelve went 24 consecutive years without a victor, he bred 48 children like lambs for slaughter, and i don’t think anyone could handle that
i think he slowly started to value protecting his own peace over theirs, because he learned the lesson of futility. he learned that selfishness was the only way to shield himself
i think haymitch was well on his way to drinking himself into a grave he dug himself, one foot in so deep he saw it as a bed, but katniss and peeta violently yanked him out from his self imposed damnation because they wanted to live, and for the first time, i think haymitch believed his tributes could.
haymitch got sober for the first time in decades for his kids because he refused to be the reason they failed. he was so ready to go back into the arena and kill his friends to protect their peace.
he clung to effie and katniss and peeta and i don’t think they saved him, but i believe they convinced him that he deserved salvation—and haymitch pulled himself back behind the reins of the life he’d tried to drink away. he learned how to live again for the people he loved rather than die for the people he lost.
i just think haymitch deserves so much credit for what he lived through and how he grew

the wicked trailer has me thinking... klance wicked au... Keith as Elphie and Lance as Galinda (obvi)
instead of being green Keith is purple (galra Keith?)
Lance is super outgoing but him and Keith get into a fight as soon as they arrive at the garrison and they develop a rivalry. (they're roommates of course) they are both secretly jealous of the other. Lance because Keith is top of the class and Keith because everyone is Lance's friend and Keith has always been an outcast. they Bond and become friends.
do you see my vision? maybe Lance goes with Keith when he asks. or maybe he stays to try and fix things from the inside. maybe Allura is Fiyero (except Keith doesn't have feelings for Allura) and Lance and her get engaged even though he doesn't love her. (he thought he did but ever since Keith left he hasn't felt the same)
and maybe they reunite and decide to fake both their deaths so they can live together.
idk what this is but I can picture it. it's so them.

I saw someone say that Lewis should have moved in 2026 not 2025, so here's my opinion on why I believe he actually picked the right time and shouldn’t have moved in 2026:
His move works for 2025 because it gives Ferrari the perfect chance to be a strong challenger in 2026. Why not 2025? Shouldn’t he be focusing there? No, this is why it will be a ‘multi-year contract’, because 2025 is the start of a two year transition, and while I wouldn’t scratch out the opportunity there, the change of regulations in 2026 and beyond is the real opportunity Ferrari (and other teams) could benefit from as we have seen before (e.i. Red Bull/Ferrari 2010-2013, Mercedes 2014-2021, Red Bull 2022-probably 2025, even BrawnGP 2009).
Now, as we know, driving for the same team the year before the regulations change is and should be ideal for each driver, this means the team gets to know the driver enough to maintain the chaos of the new regulations under control = more efficiency. Besides, we have seen this move work for Lewis before (Mercedes 2013, one year before the regulations changed in 2014) so why wouldn’t he put his bets on it again? Especially with Ferrari, the land of dreams?
Is it a risk? Of course. I’m not saying this is bound to happen, any other team could be the one to pull off the change—the biggest challengers being: McLaren, Ferrari, Audi, even Mercedes and Red Bull—But I believe that, taking in consideration all of the moves and potential changes (staff, ideas, etc) happening in Ferrari by that moment, they could pull it off. (Or McLaren could be the one to pull it off, you tell me). It depends on what the Scuderia does.
Is it also a risk for Lewis because of the driver pairing and how Ferrari will have to choose between two number one drivers? Yes, but that is a much complicated topic I’m ignoring, in the end, this is also about the opportunity on the hands of Ferrari. It could benefit the WDC dreams of either Charles or Lewis.
Anyways it all depends. These are all thoughts, I just wanted to emphasize why I believe the timing is right. Kisses <333333

Something I’ve been noticing a lot lately is how fandoms… cannot be normal about queer characters and headcannons. Not even in like a homophobia way, I’m talking about the amount of times I’ve seen two characters who are perceived as traditionally masculine, but the moment they’re shipped together suddenly one of them has to be perceived with classically feminine traits. It just gets me thinking about how we perceive queer relationships and how we limit them by applying Herero normative perceptions of gender to them.

Okay but I can't stop thinking about this
Obviously, back in Ancient Greece, there were no options like we have today. Sex resulting in a child was unpreventable. So the gods really couldn't do anything about the demigod children because goodness knows they're not gonna stop falling in love with mortals.
But things are different now and I wonder about how the invention of contraceptives and the facilitation/legalization of abortion (in some places, at least) would affect the gods.
(longer discussion under the "keep reading", content warning for talk of abortion, sex and how shitty some male gods are)
(Athena doesn't facture in because her method of making demigods is batshit, this is for the demigods that were made with sex) (and for The Big Three, more specifically)
Like I talked with my partner the other day and he says he thinks it's totally possible to abort a demigod fetus and I agreed with him. Because, even though they're stronger than normal humans, half-bloods can definitely die. So, if you were pregnant with a half-blood fetus, I think you *could* abort it like a normal human one.
HOWEVER
What would the god dad think about that. Would they be, like, offended that a mere mortal would have the gall to reject a gift from a god? would they try to punish the mortal for not wanting the demigod fetus? would they see it as "impertinent"?
Or would they be relieved like "oh nice! one less half-blood child to worry about!"?
I'm especially thinking about Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. Obviously. Because they're the ones that made a promise not to have more babies. The others made no such promises but, in their case, you'd think preventing the birth would be in their best interest, right? because you're helping them keep their promise? they should be happy, right?
But, then again, the gods are irrational a lot of the time.
Also, condoms.
Idk if god sperm would be stronger than human sperm. Like, maybe there's a chance the condom wouldn't work to stop it (they do sometimes fail, after all, "only 97% effective" and all that). But this is assuming condoms can stop even god sperm.
Again, you think The Big Three would be like "awesome! a way to keep my promise of no more kids and still have sex!" or would they be like those dude bros that don't like wearing condoms cause "they're too small for me!!!" (shut up they're not)
I'm thinking Zeus at least gives definitely the "I would never wear a condom how dare you" vibe.
Tbh, maybe the gods should try seeking out mortals that already have their tubes tied. That sounds like a plan.
Also for not-maiden goddesses like Aphrodite and Demeter, for example. You think they can just, you know, decide not to get pregnant? cause they're goddesses, maybe they can just do that? tho, since they don't have an oath that tells them not to, they probably don't care enough to decide to not get pregnant anyway?
Also, wild to think the kids whose godly parent is their mom get recognized as demigods from birth, that's crazy.
Also also, I think I remember one character in the books that's a child of Apollo with another man. Which it's cool for the queer representation but also HOW. Like... Rick, is Apollo mpreg canon in the books?! RICK?!
(I'm sure if you ask Rick all this, he just says "I write these books for kids, please leave me alone" but THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW)
(I'm pro choice, in case that wasn't totally clear. I'm not saying mortals should be punished for not wanting demigod kids (which is a fictional thing anyways). Of course not. I was just wondering what would the gods think of that)

Crowley really is the sluttiest virgin to ever exist like the audacity to walk around like that basically sex on a stick swinging those slutty slutty snaky hips but not a clue in his dumb little brain what it does to people (read: an angel)
Meanwhile Aziraphale's out there being propositioned in gentlemen's clubs and reading steamy erotica with his little glasses low on his nose imagining all the male protagonists with red hair

this made me cry my eyes out. kazuki being understanding of rei and knowing that rei cheered as loud as he could meant so much to me. kazuki understands rei and his limits, and also at the same time he's also praising him for doing his best. it's amazing.
as someone who's very similar to rei (especially in situations like this) seeing interactions like this warms my heart because not everyone is understanding even if they're close to you, so for kazuki to say this shows how amazing their dynamic is and just how cool kazuki is in general.

It's pretty simple to understand wille's need to be with simon, he quickly became the person closest to him and the one who made it possible for him to bear the unbereable. It's not that easy to empathize with simon's same need instead, because to run away would be the easiest “way out”, get to know someone new, go on with his normal life.
I think this is exactly what markus's presence will be there to portray, the breath of fresh air in simon's already complicated spot. But it’ll most importantly reveal that simpler does not necessarily mean it is the right choice to make you happy or what love is supposed to feel like.
Simon's "i've been thinking about you all break" to wille is a raw and heartfelt confession. It speaks for itself. I bet it was truly nice to have space, but some things never change as his mind coming back to him. He let wilhelm know it, for all the honesty and care simon has within and openly shows, his need to be present because he simply cares too much to not be.
It’s always been in their darkest moments that feelings took over and they learned how to grow stronger together. The second season will be the manifesto of their love and i’m so ready to witness it.

Why did Seinru in specific have to be sacrificed? (a short analysis/theory/observation)
I really love that Seinrus alchemic sigil is "fusion." A lot of people talk about how it correlates to Edolons response after their death (picking up some of their traits, physically fusing their body with his own... I did an entire analysis on this), but it also may hint to why them in particular had to be sacrificed.
In order for the sacrifice to work as intended, Seinru would have to be killed and her soul be made a key to abyss. After this, their soul would have to be fused with the all mothers and the naught fathers essence (that presumably being the limeblood and the abyss). In doing so, homunculi would be created and released into the world.
My theory is that Seinru in particular being sacrified was because they were the most important harbinger, as well as their alchemic sigil being fusion which may make them the only troll on Repiton able to use their soul to fuse the essences and create homunculi. This idea also gets into some speculation regarding Seinrus ancestor potentially letting homunculi into the world long ago as the executive mentioned something that alludes to homunculi being a thing in the past. Which may explain why they talked in depth about ancestors and sigils being something people can't free themselves from in Snowbound Blood Volume 12... but I don't think I have enough information to form an analysis off of that just yet. It's a theory within a theory which definitely needs more information revealed before I can do anything with it.
As said before though, this is just a theory and their sigil may just serve as just symbolism rather than some sort of destiny or power. Or maybe its both?? Well that's kinda how theories work.
