Funny you should ask what your trademark is because we were discussing the Athens Classic Marathon last night with my friend and it turns out now marathons make me think of you!
An association I am most happy to bear!
(except for how damn early in the morning they start: waking up early for them is the worst bit by far.)
Succession of Witches, composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arr. by Shirō Hamaguchi, from Final Fantasy VIII.
FF8 feels like a bit of a black sheep in the series, but it holds a special place in my heart; it was the first RPG I ever actually completed, and I remember being genuinely swept up in the drama. I recently replayed it, and while it definitely has some issues/warts, there were some really cool things going on with the setting and the story. (Also, unsurprisingly, the music holds up; this theme is so freaking good)
if you get this, answer with three random facts about yourself and send it to the last seven blogs in your notifs! anon or not, doesn’t matter, let’s get to know the person behind the blog <3
Hi! Thanks for sending this 🤗. Let's see. . .
1. I can write with both hands simultaneously in a mirror of each other. It's not the prettiest, but I can do it, damn it.
2. I created my own text while stranded on the tarmac in Tulsa for two hours. I had taken to the habit of writing in all my notebooks in Symbol (essentially just transliterating English into Greek lettering, though not everything perfectly matches up) because my mum was nosy, and I didn't want her reading my stories and what. I got to the point of being able to read Symbol as easily as I do English, so thought I needed to make my little scribbles a little more undecipherable.
The problem is that I don't practise it often enough, so I sometimes have to sit and parse it out myself, lol.
3. I've completed the three American races in the World Marathon Majors. I'll cross off the first of the ones outside the US when I run Berlin this September (which I'll celebrate by going to Oktoberfest the next day).
