Peachy-Panic’s Guide to Writing 101 (as told by my internal monologue while I try to wrestle out this chapter):

- Everything is more dramatic when it’s done on the floor. Fighting? Floor. Fucking? Floor. Mental breakdown? Better get your ass on the floor.

- Add tears to literally any scenario for ✨flavor✨ Your character is already crying? Don’t care, throw in another tear pricking at his eyes. How else will they know that He Is Upset?

- It’s best to use the word “tremble” a minimum of 8-10 business times per chapter. See also: flinch, tremor, quiver, wince.

- When stuck on a single sentence (or single word, if you’re feeling spicy), it’s better to spend hours and hours agonizing over it and convincing yourself you’re a fraud rather than to move on and finish the rest of the chapter. This is key.

- Over-explain everything. I don’t care if you’re 100 chapters deep on a 3 year long story, you gotta break this shit down like every single one of your readers just experienced the little memory loss flash device from Men In Black. Whoever said brevity is the wit of the soul wanted you to fail.

- If you have free time to write, don’t. Instead, go to tumblr dot com and spend 20 minutes drafting a dumbass list
