Excerpt: As he placed his brush down, Jingyi fanned himself with his right hand.

He should probably have bought a fan at the Headshaker’s fan painting event the other day after all.

Writing a steamy scene was way more difficult than what he had thought so at first, particularly when you practically didn’t know how the thing was supposed to go. All he knew was that one could get pregnant simply by touching one’s forehead ribbon or something along those lines, which was no laughing matter.

From Jingyi's story:

By now, the two men were consumed by a passion so strong, a mere second seemed to last a lifetime.

... He groaned with appreciation and was about to pull his own robes off, when a loud scream put a stop to their steamy make out session.

‟AAAAAAAAAAAH! IT’S THE YILING PATRIARCH; WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!” Jin Ling, a plain looking boy who had lost every ounce of calm he had ever possessed, shrieked as he struggled even more against the ropes that were binding him.

‟Don’t worry everyone, I will protect you,” declared the heroic Lan Jingyi, a very handsome lad, as he impressively broke free of the ropes that were tied around him and picked his sword, ready to fight against their enemy.

‟Jingyi, you are so courageous! it’s a good thing you are here to save us,” Lan Sizhui exclaimed as both Hanguang-jun and Wei Wuxian shared a look.

Author's Note: Let’s be honest, if Lan Xichen is the president of WangXian’s fan club, Lan Jingyi is vice president.

Lol, this ask reads like a prompt. I haven’t read that one, but here are three, all of which are hilarious, with fanfic written by various Juniors....

“Have you not heard the story?” the other young woman asks, looking pitying. “You must, it is a truly heartrending tale of star-crossed romance and mutual pining — go to any storyhouse in town, everyone has been requesting a reading of this book.”

“There’s a book?” Wei Wuxian says blankly.

In which the junior disciples (namely, Lan Jingyi, Ouyang Zizhen, and a reluctant Lan Sizhui) turn to RPF in an attempt to rehabilitate Wei Wuxian’s reputation so that he and Hanguang-jun can get together and get married and live happily ever after. It’s… surprisingly effective.

Summary: Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian make out in a room full of Sect Leaders, Jiang Cheng tearfully declares his love for his estranged brother, Sect Leaders Yao and Ouyang beg for the Yiling Patriarch’s forgiveness, and Lan Qiren openly welcomes a new nephew-in-law into his family.

None of them want to be doing any of this. Thanks to the Juniors, they don’t exactly have a choice.

(Or, wherein the Juniors accidentally write a cursed fanfiction, and everyone has to reenact their parts in it, or potentially cease to exist).
