Hi! I would love to hear why you think Klaus and Bonnie would be a compatible or at least fascinating match :) I can tell you're going to turn me into a Klonnie shipper even though the last thing I need in my life is another doomed OTP!!

Hey :D I love a good doomed ship it makes the fandom more interesting especially in terms of creativity tbh.

Bonnie had proven herself to be just as morally corrupt as other characters as needed. Sure, it wasn’t to the extreme of others but it existed especially if her friends were threatened. That type of loyalty and strength would be what Klaus would like because of how possessive and selfish he is.

There’s Bennett-Mikaelson connections through the lore of TVD. Ayana was Esther’s mentor. Abby entombed Mikael. Then in present there’s Esther prasing Bonnie for being the one to fight Klaus. Elijah recruited Bonnie to do it. Both Bonnie and Klaus have parental struggles on both sides. Klaus is more forefront than Bonnie’s but it exists. Tagging my friends content here :).

Klaus was introduced with an affinity for witches (Gloria, Maddox, Greta..)it was just dropped after well you know ;). But in a sibling light I could see both Rebekah and Kol taking a liking to Bonnie. Rebekah wanted that normal highschool experience and Kol was formerly a witch. We got a little bit of Kennett moments in s4 but that was dropped. Bonnie is the only TVD character to never have her own side friend out the group.

Narratively TVD would’ve just had to work with their few key points to make Klonnie a slow burn ship from s2-4 tbh. Bonnie kept getting the short-stick. Season 3 she got cheated on, her mother abandoned again, she had all the reasons to distant herself from her friends and end up in someone’s darker arms. The Mikaelson Ball ep Esther is leeching off Bonnie and her bloodline yet Bonnie is no where to be found… huh… Bonnie doesn’t get enough in universe credit for her actions because she has not only nearly killed Klaus she has saved his life(and everyone else’s.)

Season 4 Bonnie was dipping into a darker side with Expression and she blindly trusted Shane just to learn magic. It would be another moment for Klaus to try and get in her good graces. Klaus would have to open up emotionally for Bonnie to sympathize with him. I think they would challenge each other. Bonnie is one of the female characters who can fight back to people who are trying to harm her in a way Elena or Caroline can’t tbh.

Bonnie wasn’t just any witch either she was a Bennett which her family is responsible for nearly everything in TVD. I don’t think Klaus would’ve suddenly became a “Disney prince” type of BF by any means but I could see the relationship working. Klaus is still an elitist bastard with years of knowledge Bonnie would want. Bonnie is willing to give that loyalty to anyone who is good to her. Cami is seen as good and she even falls for Klaus lmao.

Last point people only play morality clauses with Bonnie because the series does. By the end of TVD Bonnie considers Damon not Elena or Caroline or Matt her bestfriend. That should say enough about what Bonnie would allow but….The writers and fans will argue that Bonnie doesn’t deserve to be paired up with toxic men or women but TVD never introduced anyone that was “morally good” by our world standards. Even Enzo physically harmed Bonnie pre-relationship. The other leads are white and never held to the same standards. Elena said it was Stefan until it wasn’t. Caroline said no to Klaus until she didn’t. Hayley’s arc includes with her fucking Klaus and dating Elijah… the list could continue.

--- A9. Celebrating one character's firstmorn (birthday!)

The heavy bag at Shadowheart's hip flopped against her as she ran through the streets of Baldur's Gate. Darkness guided her way as always, the only light in the Lower at this hour the scarce candlelight peeking through windows. Luckily, her darkvision covered the spots where that feeble light failed her. Her face stung a little, but she was too focused on her escape to care all too much.

She turned the last corner to safety and slipped through the hatchway nestled in berry bushes at the rear of the House of Grief. She descended the ladder slowly, making sure the patchwork bag at her side didn't pop open and pour its precious contents down the shaft.

When she pushed past the sentries questioning where she'd gone, Shadowheart made her way to the slats in one corner of the cloister. It was easy for one her size to get through without anyone noticing.

In their spot within the hideaway grotto, Nocturne sat and waited. Waited with her knees tucked under her and her hands clasped together in prayer.

Shadowheart sat behind her without saying a word. She unfastened the flap of the bag and withdrew her prize. It sat on a plate alongside several candles. She settled the candles into the soft surface, whispering a word of power to scatter flames across their short wicks.

The light and sound alerted Nocturne, who turned. Her horns glittered against the flames and her harsh, purple eyes scanned the cake in front of her.

"What's this?" she asked, her voice small.

Shadowheart sat up on her knees. "Happy firstmorn, Nocturne."

"How did you—?" Nocturne lifted her head, her eyes widening when she saw Shadowheart. "Gods, what happened to you?"

"Oh, this?" Shadowheart touched the bruise that bled and stung under her eye. "Could've been worse."

"Could've been...? Shadowheart," Nocturne whispered. She leaned over and touched Shadowheart's face, a smile growing on her own. "Did you steal this cake?"

"Of course."

"For me?"

"Who else?"

Nocturne's palm on her cheek felt better than any healing word, any tincture-soaked sponge. Her thumb graced Shadowheart's face for a moment.

"It's beautiful." Nocturne didn't look away from Shadowheart while she spoke. "If a bit crushed."

Shadowheart smiled. She whispered, "Did you want anything else? Any other gift?"

Nocturne nodded in answer. Her hand didn't leave Shadowheart's face. The sounds of the cavern spring trickled alongside distant murmurs of Sharrans in the cloister.

Hesitating for a moment, Shadowheart tried her best to remember what she'd done for all of Nocturne's other firstmorns. All those days she deserved. There was nothing there, though. All of it given as a gift to Lady Shar, now lost.

So she did what she thought made the most sense.

She leaned over the cake, accidentally smashing it with her knee, and pressed her lips against Nocturne's. Felt Nocturne giggle against her.

She kissed her and Nocturne kissed her back.

This was supposed to be her gift. Not mine.

Yet Shadowheart could not stop kissing her.

This idea has not fully formed in my brain yet, but dpxdc time reversal isekai. This'll be a bit disjointed so bear with me.

Danny phantom and DC are the same universe to start with. Danny goes darkest timeline (not in the dan way. Dan is boring. He does not exist for this purpose) after years of being legally not human and trying to run from the giw while the organizations that should of helped didn't.

In the original timeline he is found out in some horrible way and has to run. He is kidnapped by the giw. He frees himself and finds himself entangled with the batfam. Everything goes wrong, his tenuous relationship with them gets super messed up as none of them are in a good place, and danny is slowly dying. Eventually it all gets broken off.

Danny, completing his journey into insanity, kind of destroyes the universe. And on a little related tangent, when writing these kind of stories all powerful characters are hard to deal with. Characters like clockwork give me the ick because their pulling at the strings robs the characters of their agency and they often fall apart when you look at them critically. So I'm nerfing clockwork. He can see all the timelines, he can watch over them and prevent major fuckery, but he isn't just able to meddle as he pleases.

Like I said, Dan doesn't exist and the whole bit never happened (originally I said that because it's a lame plotline but now it has real reasons) so Danny's never met clockwork. Clockwork takes the burst of power from danny going nuclear and reverses the time stream.

Danny wakes up on the day the event that leads his parents to find out happens. He's unable to avoid it as he's confused and dissriented with a bunch of strange thoughts and images making his head feel fit to burst, but does avoid the giw while running away.

Onto discussions of a main plot point: the romance bc it's always there with time reversal isekais (and with my fics in general tbh). As I'm thinking about it it's hard to decide bc I recently read a bunch that annoyed me into disliking them all and made me step away from the cross over for awhile. But as I was thinking of what to write I came to a decision. I already have one of these for Tim, having it be damian would make all the other characters older than him and it doesn't fit the vibe I'm going for to have danny surrounded by a bunch of adults when he isn't quite one, Jason just isn't fitting in my head rn, so I'm making it Dick. (I did also consider bruce, but I didn't...

The ages I'm going off of: bruce 37 (27), dick 21 (11), Jason 18 (8), Tim 15 (5), Damien 10 (fetus.)

I'm torn. I like the concept of Bruce being the love interest better but i dont know if i like it more than Dick. Like I said, this idea came to me and I immidiently opened a a draft. The idea is not solidified. And as I think more about it, maybe bruce would be better. Because with crossover ships you can slap the timelines together however you want you can change the ages and ship characters as you see fit. My initial reason for not considering bruce was the ages and wanting all the kids to be around for the plot. So I'm going to do the math.

Danny gets his powers at 14. Gets away with only monsters of the week to deal with for the first year. Giw gets new funding and becomes a consistent problem into when he's 16. It's manageable for awhile. I'm going to say he deals with it well enough for them to pull back and regroup around when he turns 17. Six months later and The Incident happens and he's outed. He runs and in his panicked gets captured by the giw.

My initial plan (initial meaning first thought that occurred less than an hour ago) was for him to be kidnapped long enough to be thoroughly traumatized but not super long. Like a few months. And I'd thought his freeing himself might have somthing to do with them kidnapping Jason or somthing. And if I stick to that Dick works really well and I feel like there's some really good content in dick and danny ending up together.

With Bruce I'd have to adjust the timeline more. Both for my batfam agenda and to make it not icky. If bruce is going to be in his mid thirties danny needs to be a minimum of his mid 20s. So I think if I were to go with Bruce I'd extend the kidnapped time to like 2 years (so Danny's like 20) and have him spend some time in the ghost zone before coming back to mess up the giw? I don't know. I'm going to have to write some stuff physically.

This has gotten out of hand and now I'm confused and my head hurts. I think the difference in the decision in unstable young adult danny vs unhinged adult danny in the original time line.

And the other thing I have to consider is not just main timeline but post rewind attempt 2 timeline and how those ages fall.

Dick is easier because it'd be easier to not have to handle that mess. I could have what I want without worrying about an age gap. And I think they could be really compelling. Especially with the idea of Dick seeking out Danny to help Jason, the brother he thinks he failed. Their relationship is originally a will they won't they as Dick has to deal with his family being a mess and desperately not wanting to lose anyone again while danny is in a limbo between who he is and if he's human. And it doesn't work out. It blows up in their faces as circumstances tear them apart and force them to let go of eachother. And you get the forbidden romance trope as batman doesn't trust danny. And then danny loses his shit and everyone dies before the rewind.

I think after the rewind they'd restart quieter. Danny searches out a familiar person after running away. Dick had just become nightwing and set up in bludhaven. Jason is 14 and hasn't died yet. Maybe they'd meet organically. Danny is drawn to Gotham and ends up in bludhaven while skirting around it. He meets the new vigilante who he knows but he also knows he doesn't (his core remembers. The core always remembers). Dick finds himself drawn to this haunted guy he keeps running into, maybe it's his savior complex, maybe it's somthing else entirely. He figures he's some kind of meta, jumpy from escaping someone's experiments.

Eventually Danny will remember Jason. Dick brings him up and Danny's filled with dread. Dick thinks his reaction is wierd. But Jason is eventually saved.

If I were to write it this way I think I'd have a couple of different mystery plot likes that connect thematically but aren't actually connected. (A nightwing vigilante based one of mob bosses or whatever, Danny's whole deal, what the giw is up to, where their money comes from and how that's gotten on the jl radar). But that's all on that for now.

To summarize: they have a very turbulent relationship initially. Dick will eventually be forced to chose the bats over danny. Danny has not properly healed from the giw and slowly spins out of control. After the rewind it's a lot of Dick solving mysteries as Danny tries to heal. The plot would be majorly driven by Dick, Danny's is mostly internal.

Back to the bruce concept (reminder that these two concepts are not connected at all).

The thing with time reversals is that you have to decide in the beginning whether or not the reversal is seperate from the main characters original timeline or if it's continuous. Are they the age they were pre reversal or the age they were reversed to? How much of it do they retain?

With the Bruce option I matched it to bruce being like 6 years older than danny. So pre reversal danny shows up to investigate bruce when his connection to the al ghuls (10yo damien) is established. Danny is 30, jaded, and less human than the other version. He's been warped in a way. The torture was longer and he recovered in the zone. A lot of his friends and family died.

Some relationship stuff happens, some al ghul caused demon stuff happens, the world is destroyed, time is reversed.

I'm fudging the previous timeline a bit. Danny's reveal happens at 19 while he's still in amity taking a gap year to weigh his dreams against his responsibilities. The Incident happens. He's kidnapped for a few years. Escapes durring an expierenment that allows him to slip into the zone. Dedicates himself to destroying the giw.

Danny post reversal retains skills and knowledge but is still his 19 year old self. He returns to the day of the incident, is confused, gets outed, dips but escapes the giw. Goes to Vlad and demands money, resources, and a contract that makes him heir without the downsides of his shady practices. It's important to not at this point, danny is basically bluffing. The kid has no idea what's going on or if it'll work, but he spooks vlad enough for him to agree now, plan how to spin it in his favor later.

So Danny takes a bit to decompress from that shitshow.

Flash forward, bruce wayne notices he has a bit of a (new) stalker problem. Some guy he doesn't know (and Brucie Wayne knows everyone) starts showing up at all his galas and the charity events he goes to. 20 year old Danny Fenton, heir to Masters Enterprises.

Cue Romcom.

This would have a drastically different tone from the other version. Very fun and much lower stakes.

last february i was going through my zelda phase again and i was looking for fics to read. previously i had read a lot of sidlink fics so I was looking for something new, and I decided to check out revalink fics and. oh em gee. i got hooked 😭

I remember insisting I only liked it ironically but 💀 look where I am now. #1 revalink shipper oopsies 🤭 their dynamic really stood out to me, I've shipped a lot of rivals to lovers before so I guess once I started to consider it revalink just made sense to me. also revalink fics are devastatingly good, like there's a couple that I reread religiously 😫

what are your favorite things about the ship?

omg I LOVE THIS QUESTIONNN. saurr many things like. I mentioned it already but I love their dynamic, especially when you start to analyze it beyond the surface level. I love headcanons about why revali lashes out at link in the first place, especially in relation to the champion's ballad dlc and how revali's diary reveals that he's just really insecure about himself. I think they're such good character foils to each other and that makes their interactions, both as rivals and as lovers, so much richer than some of the other ships in the game. their relationship is so open to interpretation and that makes it one of the most satisfying ships to make content for SHFJDBF

is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

hmm not that I can think of! i post a lot of headcanons and stuff but I don't think they've ever been unpopular, maybe just unique. like my all the president's men au 💀 i still think abt that sometimes LOL

what would have made you like it?

I think a.) mipha's character should have been fleshed out more because she felt so one-dimensional and it kind of bothered me, her character had so much more potential and I love seeing fanon version of her where she actually has a personality. and b.) if there was a little more pining on both link's and mipha's parts. the best part of childhood friends to lovers is the pining!!

favorite thing about them: I love how much PIZZAZ he adds to the early game! How can I not like a character with such a flamboyant, demanding personality whose very presence is enough to make everyone react with shock, contempt, laughter, and awe? Navarre is an ass, but a necessary ass to carry the early narrative and add so much excitement to it. I cannot help but giggle to myself everytime he appears. AND THEN, all that character growth in IVA towards becoming a better, more self-aware ghostie. Ohhh I love he so muuuch~

least favorite thing about them: Definitely the unnecessary perversion in IVA. Enough said.

favorite line: The "dawdling Casualries" line will always hold a special place in my heart, but I am also really fond of the stuff he says when you speak with him during the training drills in one of the rest spots,

"O-Oh, it's you… I thought you to be a demon. Don't start me so… I've never carried a blade any heavier than a knife before. If Mother were to see me dashing about with such a weapon in hand, I think that she would faint…"

And

"I landed a critical blow when I accidentally tripped… The next quest was much simpler, since as you might expect, money is no object to me. 'Twas actually easier than the first. But the final challenge all depends on one's strength, and that's a field I'm particularly lacking in… S-Someone else may have first place, I care not whom. Merely let this debacle of a training exercise be done with!"

brOTP: Nanashi and Navarre are best BROS!

Bad edit aside, can't forget the actual bros, Navarre and Gaston lmao. I really enjoyed their sibling relationship and it opened up so much insight into their familial life and personal struggles. I'm so so happy they got to rekindle at the enddd, it was so sweet

OTP: Everyone knows that I am the sole resident of the Issachar x Navarre Crack Ship Kingdom!! Idgaf that they've never canonically met nor even know of each other's existence, the POTENTIAL between them is enough to keep me content and well fed! We support random rarepairs in this house!

I also really like Flynn x Navarre too and they're my second fave Navarre ship, for much the same reasons!

nOTP: Needless to say, my NOtps would be pairing Navarre with his brother or any of the IVA kids. Eeeugh. Enough said.

random headcanon: It's something I've been wanting to analyze in more depth, and IDK how much of this is actually canon or headcanon considering, but I very much fancy the idea of Navarre always having close connections with the Samurai seniors and keeping close tabs on the Rite and new inductions. He's very astute with the going-ons in Samurai business and likely has been anxiously watching them for quite some time.

unpopular opinion: I understand that Navarre is a very unlikeable character, and he's supposed to be! But it honestly does get really bothersome seeing how much dismissal, if not outright hate, he gets in the fandom. Navarre IS an important character within the early game! It is his very antics that adds the necessary tension and tone needed to carry the early narrative and worldbuilding. It does admittedly make it hard for me to approach other SMTIV fans because I like this bean so much.

Yeah that's a good way to describe it and it's kind of 🙃 you can meme about Rapunzel having two hands and everyone laughs until you're actually serious about it. My beef with a particular batch of fanon Varian where he's just a perpetually angsty character who 1) either gets put through the wringer for the sake of... being put through the wringer 2) every other character gets vilified, especially Frederic / Quirin / Rapunzel / Cassandra 3) it's like what happened in "Queen For a Day" never ended so Varian's just stuck in this characterization despite the fact that he got so much better like wouldn't you want to see your fave get emotionally / physically better? 💀

I'm not going to even sugar coat it Eugene/Lance would be a very popular ship but the problem is the fact that Lance is a black character and fandom (not just tts in general) for the most part won't interact with a black character unless they really have to

tbh nikandros/laurent has actually been a thing for quite some time now, im not sure what your specific timeline is but I know ive ben seeing them since 2018 and ive personally been writing them (at least in an unrequited sense) since 2017. I do see that they've spiked tho and mmmmm

I cant speak for everyone but the way I see it I guess it that multi shipping is a good time, it lends to a lot of fun possibilities and interesting dynamics, especially when you take certain liberties with the characters or create these ideas/headcanons etc. and for me especially, in a fandom where we dont get new content and I personally felt like ive basically read and written it all, expanding who I ship them with sort of woke me up and opened up new possibilities. I ship laurent with a lot of people but nikandros is definitely up there at the top, and I honestly couldn't tell you why other than I enjoy it. I think theyre an interesting dynamic, he's similar to damen in ways that make the pairing work and I think he has his own traits that make them really fun to play with. Hello! Would you recommend starfield? Cyberpunk has been my favorite game for almost a year now and I've played almost every day. However, recently I downloaded a mod (unsure which one) and the game just flatlines every time. I've deleted every file associated with cyberpunk and completely reinstalled multiple times, but nothing stops it from flatlining. So, I'm now looking for a new RPG game that can give me a similar feeling. Is starfield one to consider? Or should I look elsewhere? Tysm <3

Well that sucks, but tbh that's a lotta the reason why I won't go back to it despite the temptation. I had to obliterate my mods folder for the DLC, I can't force myself to it again for a few cute scenes with NPC's I'll likely just replace with other NPC's for the brainrot ( sorry Panam ).

When it comes down to it, Starfield and Cyberpunk 2077 aren't a thing alike, which is gr8 bc games shouldn't be alike just bc they share a genre, we should encourage different experiences for different kinds of players. Cyberpunk 2077 is more linear and cinematic narratively, I enjoyed it, but haven't touched it since I finished it and probably never will, where as Starfield, although having imo a great story too, is like any other BGS game where it's more about, "here's a ship and some gear, now go collect plushies and shoot pirates!" So lots and lots of fun for me, who just likes making pretty characters, hoarding stuff, going pew pew, and occasionally getting trapped in a string of story missions, all at my own pace, to the tune of the brainrot in my own head.

Considering all the hubbub around Starfield recently however, esp the Steam version, I'm just not gonna recommend it to anyone, lol. Like you'd probably be better off seeking out your favorite YouTuber who aligns with your interests and play style, and see how they feel about it. Bc unless you just enjoy building a character through mostly text based conversations and encounters, snooping through ppl's emails for the lore, helping out NPC's, walking around on mostly uninhabited planets while enjoying the wonderful music of Inon Zur, building space ships, or just really, truly enjoy space in general, I'd be more inclined to suggest something else.

BG3 perhaps, or anything by BioWare. They've got plenty of kissy, kissy scenes, a just big enough open world, and story focused content for those who prefer that stuff.

Kakashi literally doesn't stop. Even if he feels like shit, or is so sick he's struggling to keep his eyes open, he will still get out of bed and attempt to do whatever he had on his to-do list for that day. His partner will need to literally force him to stay home, and even then there's no way he is staying in bed. The second their eyes are off him, he's up trying to do chores around the house.

There are so many to choose from... Unfortunately, I am going to have to go with the sort of sad option here and say I relate to how distant he can be when first meeting people. Basically, he and I share a trauma response lol. Maybe we could help each other get over it!

I will never get over the fact that he did this. Ever. It is burned into my brain.
