for some fun festivities in honor of the holidays how do you think hannigram would spend Christmas?

how well do you think they choose gifts for eachother +wrap them? (it would be cool to headcannon the other characters too!)

HANNIGRAM CHRISTMAS

I think they'd have a quiet, cozy Christmas (except for the festive hunting I'm sure they'd partake in lol). I imagine they'd be at a safe house, fugitives, so they can't just roam around for decor, so I imagine a rustic and improvised vibe. Hannibal pushes Will a little since he is not much of a Christmas guy, but eventually he helps, because it's something they can enjoy quietly together and because it distracts him from the heaviness of their reality. I imagine lots of dried fruits, simple ornaments with things they have around, plants and lots of candles.

For gifts, I think Will goes for practicality (like the fishing set he wanted to gift Abigail), so I imagine something like a kitchen knife set, but customized, maybe engraved? Rustic and beautiful to fit Hannibal's aesthetic.

I think H would go for something meaningful + something he'd like to "decorate" Will with, something he can wear daily, like a watch. Will wears a watch already so I imagine H would want him to wear a nice one. Time also has a deep meaning in their relationship so I think it's very fitting.

I hate the stereotype that Will is scruffy cause he's not that much, specially after H's influence on him, so that's not why I think he'd go for a rustic wrapping but because it fits Hannibal's aesthetics. And H would go for something refined and gothic vibey. Both black wrapping cause that's what they had around lol.

NOW LOOK AT THIS STAG THINGY/SPOON? I FOUND. Perfect, perfect. Anyway the knifes Will gives him could be these, they are literally $10k but it's okay cause Hans is paying...Molly got everything in the divorce 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Then I imagine a quiet Christmas dinner or breakfast, either way, delicious and rustic looking, very Hannibalesque, soft music in the background, the sound of the fireplace flickering, depending where they are, snow falling on the window.

Cozy so cozy, Will gets to relax a little and Hannibal is just his silly little self enjoying the holidays ignoring the horrors.

sweet cale boy 😭😭 def not a big pda guy but also still very physical touch?? like always holding your hand under the table, touching your lower back, also just very aware of your presence next to him and is always making sure there’s space for you or squeezing your hand to make sure you’re doing okay and ugh I just feel like he’s so quietly thoughtful and soft

and okay yes this is very him. like it’s all about the silent reminders he’s right there and it’s hidden in the little soft touches. whether it’s guiding you somewhere which his hand on your lower back or he’s always holding your hand and rubbing his thumb over your skin or pressing his leg against yours under the table, hooking his foot over yours IT’S THE LITTLE TOUCHES/GESTURES!!

the way he checks in on you without really asking like by squeezing your hand and giving you that look or how he always makes sure you can stand next to him during a conversation and have a place so you’re never left out. he’s always paying attention to how he can make you more comfortable but not being overdramatic or very pda about it

he’s the type to always give up his hoodie or jacket because he saw you shiver once. he presses tiny kisses to your temples throughout meals with friends to let you know he’s right there and thinking about you
