Ok @chocoarts , I'm ready to go on a ramble! Thanks so much for answering my request! I hope my ramble does your art justice!
So! Steve and Robin are destined to work together, no matter how they meet or what they do. I know that most folks on the internet think that Robin wouldn't be great with little kids, while Steve would be the master. However! I personally like the idea that they're /both/ great with kids! I'm not usually one for no-Upside-down aus, but I can't really think of another way that this would work, so.
I'll bet that Steve and Robin met while volunteering at the Hawkins Daycare center. They bond over a love of kids and hatred for the people in charge. Y'see, Hawkins kinda reminds me of the area I grew up in a little bit, and something that's happened, both in my community and the town where my mom works, is that daycares and pre-schools start out as genuine nonprofits, existing for the sake of the community. But over time, they become super exclusive, expensive, and mildly corrupt. I imagine that if Hawkins had a daycare center, that's what would happen.
*oh, by the way, I have nothing against day care centers or all you folks who run them in a general sense. I know how difficult it is to take care of little kids to an extent, and I respect you all for what you do. It's just the ones in my community that I know of that are like that.*
Anyway...
So Steve and Robin see this and decide, hey, Steve's parents may be assholes, but they haven't cut him off yet, so why don't they use that money to open their own daycare center? They would call it Bat-man and Robin's Junior Bat-cave, because Steve plays baseball in this au. Also because of this meme:
By the way, they decided to add hyphens to the DC related parts of the name to escape a potential lawsuit. That's my logic, and I'm sticking to it. Cool? Cool.
So Steve and Robin open their daycare, and they keep their fees as inexpensive as they possibly can without it being detrimental to the business. One of their first customers is a single mom by the name of Claudia Henderson.
It takes a minute for Dustin to warm up to Steve and Robin, because even as a 3-year-old, people give him a hard time about his disease, cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD), which he worked really hard to learn how to pronounce.
Steve and Robin don't treat him any differently. The only acknowledgement they make of his CCD is when they have to follow his daily medical needs, which I assume exist, but I have no idea what they'd be. When this sinks in, he warms right up to them. His favorite thing to do is play spies with the toy walkie-talkie set that Steve got especially for him. He gets bad dreams sometimes about his dad leaving, but Steve is always right there when he wakes up with a sci-fi picture book or Star Wars stuffies to help him feel better.
The next kid to show up is Max Mayfield. She's a sassy little thing. And in this au, N*il dies in a car crash or something, and Billy's mom gets custody of Billy, because he deserves good things, dammit, but Susan doesn't have the money to move her and Max back to Cali. The Junior Batcave is affordable for her. It takes Max a hot second to warm up to Steve, because of N*il, but Robin helps her feel safe, and Steve never pushes her boundaries. That is what gets her to warm up to him. Max likes playing spies with Dustin, but her favorite thing to do is use cardboard as ramps and play with those tiny skateboard toys.
Jane Eleanor "El" Hopper shows up after Hopper adopts her and gets her out of the foster system. She's pretty quiet and timid, but she's got good judgement for a 3-year-old. She warms up to Steve and Robin pretty quick. She calls them Auntie Robin and Mom-Steve. She likes any kind of game, as long as she's with her best friend Max. But her favorite thing to do at daycare is play with Steve's hair. One day, she brings all sorts of clips and ribbons from home. El gets a little sad, because Robin gently tells her, "if it touches your hair, you don't share." Steve immediately goes out to the store to get some new hair supplies, and then El just goes ham on his hair. When she's done, she says that "Mom-Steve is the prettiest ever!" Hearts melt, and there are tears.
When Will shows up, his family is fresh out of a divorce, so he's really quiet and sensitive. He knows that he's welcome to play with Dustin, Max, and El, but he's just too shy. Luckily for him, Mike starts attending at around the same time. They bond over Star Wars with Dustin. And Will just has the best ideas for games if make-believe! When Will leads, Max and El get to be the knights, and Mike is the one who needs saving. Will gets attached to Steve and Robin when they agree to play the dragon and the queen respectively, and help him practice reading when he's not up to playing. Eventually, Will spends so much time reading with Steve that Mike gets jealous, which I think would explain the ankle-biter moment in chocoarts's picture.
Mike is a bit of a jealous kiddo, because baby Holly gets all of Mom and Nancy's attention, and Dad isn't home too often cause of work. That's why, if any of his friends start spending more time with Steve than him, his ankle-biting tendencies surface. Oh, Will would rather read a story with Steve than play knights and castles with Mike? CHOMP! Even so, Steve and Robin both give Mike plenty of attention, so he warms up to them. He copies El, calling Steve Mom-Steve. He also starts calling Robin Auntie Birdie.
Last, but certainly not least, the Sinclair siblings. In this au, I think Lucas and Erica would either be twins, or the age gap would just be a year instead of 4, as it seems to be in canon (Lucas seeming to be a 15-year-old freshman when Erica is 11). Lucas likes playing catch a little more than the other boys, and Steve is always happy to play with him. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. Y'see, I just had the thought that when the Sinclairs tried sending Lucas and Erica to Hawkins Daycare, the two were surrounded by white children who didn't know anything other than the racist bullshit their parents said around them. The employees weren't much better. When the Sinclairs reached out to the Junior Bat-cave, on the other hand, Steve and Robin were perfectly respectful, and made sure the other kids knew to be respectful to Lucas and Erica, too. Anywho, as the two adjust, Steve loves to see how Lucas is just the best big brother. He knows that Erica is still a bit too small for catch, so he rolls his favorite ball around with her, instead. Also, Erica likes dogs in this au, so Steve helps Lucas draw and/or color in pictures of dogs and puppies. Robin is always happy to play with Erica, too. In fact, all the girls love finding all the dog stuffies in the daycare to play dog school, Erica's favorite game.
Alright! That's all I've got for this ramble. If anyone wants to take these ideas and just roll with them, feel free to do so. I hope my ramble did chocoarts's drawing justice!

For the five ask game, if that's still going on, how about an iideku au where OFA ships them?
Torn between thinking this means the vestiges ship them, or that it means the quirk itself is a very excitable puppy dog that wants Tenya around as much as possible...
1- Tenya did not make a great first impression on 5/7.5 vestiges. Kudo and Bruce were like 'let 👏 him 👏 speak 👏' because they do, you know, kinda think Izuku's annoying but they sorta all did a 180° turn about him after the exam when Tenya apologized and praised Izuku's choice. Most of them like him. Bruce and Kudo are wondering how this kid keeps getting people to decide to like him after all.
2- OfA reacts differently under Izuku's hands, but he never realizes it because he assumes it's his own emotions and projecting. Yeah, his quirk feels jumpy and volatile around Kacchan like he could set it off and blow up his arm too easily, and fun and bubbly around Uraraka who's sure he'll figure out how to use it soon, and ok Izuku isn't sure why OfA races up to his skin faster around Iida, pushy, but maybe it's because he feels competitive with his friend.
3- The vestiges are actually in agreement for once when Izuku looks at Tenya at the train station. That Kid Is Going To Try To Commit Murder (and probably die in the attempt). "Is that what I looked like the last time you saw me alive?" Kudo asks Bruce. "No. But it's what I looked like to Shinomori." They want to help him. They want Izuku to help him. Izuku wants to help him. But they can't do anything except try to bend the power into something Izuku can actually use, and hope it's enough when the kid jumps off the train to find Tenya.
4- Nana, romantic she is, keeps getting excited when it seems they might lean in closer, might take each other's hands. Kudo asks if she and her husband were high school sweethearts to have such optimistic expectation of such a relationship, but Banjo says that dang it, Izuku at least deserves boyfriend even if they split after school, and Yoichi who has little concept of school and had a max relationship length of two months just wants them to confess already. Tenya's admiration is clear to everyone in Izuku's head except Izuku, and they can feel the boy's heartbeat in return. But sadly, they can't do anything while Izuku can't hear them... But, once he can...
5- "Good job training today, you'll master Float as soon as it comes to you at this rate!" Nana cheers Izuku in his dreams. He blushes, still unable to talk in the fog, but they figured out how to have him write in a notebook while he's there. "Hey, you know, White Day is coming up. Any plans? I can help you make something." Izuku raises his eyebrows because he's been warned Nana is a bit of a lethal chef, and also he's already made plans to make chocolate in return for his classmates, and more than triple the chocolate covered apple slices Eri was so excited to present him with a month ago. "I mean, other than Eri and the courtesy chocolate. Any confession plans?" Izuku starts waving his hands because he didn't get any confession chocolate and haha, why would he need to give any now, and En just sighs and breaks in with a "they need a third day for gay chocolate, bet Iida-kun would have made something for you then."
Izuku is eventually cajoled into making some orange chocolate treats for Tenya, only because he'd have plausible deniability that he just wanted to gift to his friends, but then Tenya presents him with All Might shaped chocolates and admits that maybe they are not purely platonic but that he still highly values Midoriya's friendship and would never mention the feelings again if he didn't want them and completely understands rejection and truly he- wait he didn't get rejected? Wait, it's the same for Midoriya? Both of them are very red, but happy. They don't really change much, neither is one for pda and calling each other their boyfriend feels like A Lot, but they do share food more often and move to calling each other by their given name in a manner that is adorably both shy and excited. But ah, we're halfway through March, and at the end of the month...
A couple weeks later, Izuku tapes letters to the doors of his classmates, then packs a bag to go, not planning on returning to the dorms again. He picks up the little bag of All Might chocolates that he'd slowly been going through. There's only two left. He slips them into the side pocket of his bag, then slips himself out of his window and down the building to leave campus, the vestiges silent around him and his quirk burning to go back when he can't.

Lock-up ~ Chapter 4
{Charles Leclerc x Reader}

Present - Post Monza GP
Y/N POV
" That's P1 Y/N, P1!" your engineer screams in your ears as you pass the finish line, chequered flag waving above your car.
" YES. YES! FINALLY! You guys were insane this weekend. Thank you. Bring the champagne directly to me please." I half-joked.
Chris chuckled and congratulated me.
" Beautiful race Y/N, your determination really paid off. Enjoy the festivities now."
I jumped out of my car and threw my fists up in the air. The crowd was buzzing, thrilled to finally have an Italian take the win in Monza. My first win. What better way to have it here, in my paternal country.
Max found me and lifted me off my feet with his arms around my waist.
" I'm so, so proud of you!" Max says, bringing his lips to my cheek and hugging me tightly.
I laughed and thanked him as he put me down.
Then, I ran to my team and jumped into the crowd they had formed near the fences. I close my eyes, feeling their warm embrace all around me that equaled to a welcoming blanket that made me feel so, so proud of myself.
I open my eyes to see my dad with his arms crossed and a slight smile on his face.
" My teaching finally paid off, huh?" he says proudly.
" I never could've done it without you, dad."
And you truly believed that. You kept reminding yourself it was all your dad's work paying off.

I made my way to the driver's cooldown room with Max and Leclerc, and I instantly started speaking with Max, well aware of Leclerc's cold stare on the both of us.
" Wait I have to check something..." Max said, as if suddenly remembering something.
He quickly sat up from his seat and made his way to the door.
" Great race out there Charles." He said passing Leclerc.
" Thanks mate." Charles smiled at him.
It was a bit awkward alone with him, but I contented myself with drinking water and watching the replays on the screen. Instead of my mistakes and crashes, it was my overtakes' and defending's turn to be on the big screen.
Hushed voices could suddenly be heard outside the room.
" Yeah, Max definitely gave her the win cuz he's in love with her." A man declared, sure of his theory.
" Right... We could almost see him slow down for her!" another laughed.
Both of them continued to call my win worthless, undeserved, rigged...
After all the work I had put in that race... after keeping Russell behind, overtaking both Leclerc and Max and defending perfectly, people still had something to say. Still, it got me seriously thinking about the bigger picture. Was it all in Max's little game to make people think we're dating? That was one of my best races, but now I wasn't so sure.
" Can you guys shut up? We've both worked very hard and now we're exhausted, but we just can't seem to relax with your annoying voices in the background." Charles tells the now embarrassed men, before slamming the door close.
I hadn't noticed him getting up. He went back to his seat as if nothing happened, stealing a quick glance at me.
" Thank you." I say, meaning it.
He shrugged.
" I know how it feels." he says simply.
I was taken aback. He was one of the most adored drivers on the grid.
" Do you? Nobody says a word when you win. Only cheers are heard." I mutter.
" Maybe publicly. Privately, Ferrari are constantly- nevermind. I don't know why I would tell you that." He said.
I stayed silent.
Suddenly, I was called to the post-race interview in front of everyone. An uproar of yells and whistles just for me could be heard.
" Are those cheers I hear?" Charles says, with a sarcastic shocked face.
I rolled my eyes and smiled a bit.
" Not everyone is out to get you, Y/N. You just have to open those eyes of yours." he said, with a surprising seriousness in his voice and eyes.
I looked back at him but no words formed.
I hated to admit it, but he was right. When I came out, every person in the grandstands was standing up and cheering for me. I couldn't help it. I don't cry often but this was too many emotions.
Tears left my eyes as I smiled and waved at everyone.
" Y/N, L/N. How does it feel to have your first win here in Monza?" the reporter asked.
" I was waiting for this win, and what better place to have it here in my half home. Although, today, I must admit it feels like my forever home." I smiled.
There was a couple of "Aww"s in the crowd.
The podium went well, and the champagne tasted of victory and bitterness. I had heard more people talk about the theory that Max let me past. To my dismay, I followed Leclerc's advice and observed around me. My team was at my feet, with proud smiles on. I smiled widely and continued to spray the champagne.

Hey! This is random, but do you have a favorite season of Endeavour? Favorite episode? Cheers!

This ask has been sitting in my inbox since forever, and I've put off answering it because I only just finished watching s9 for the first time last night. I don't think I have a favourite season, so I'll answer this by showing my favourite bits from all of the seasons. This got long, so under the cut it goes!
Season 1
Baby Morse! Baby Morse and the pain and agony over Rosalind Stromming, the one person who had, without knowing it, given him hope in his darkest moments.
His first interactions with Thursday who saw this snipey, angry young man who hasn't been cared for or listened to in such a long time and took him under his wing! Fred using his 'camp councilor' voice which Morse inherits whenever he talks to younger officers or children or vulnerable individuals. Thursday telling him to hold onto something to keep the darkness away. To remind himself that he cannot and will not end up like Mason Gull- even if he cannot save himself from his eventual fate. And Morse repaying all of that 100 times over by getting off a train and returning to stand by Thursday's side at the end.
'I put you on a train.'
'I got off.'
Indeed.
The moments between Morse, Gwen, Cyril and Joycie (and Constance's ghost) in Home! God, Constance's ghost really does haunt season 1, doesn't it? And then the absolute mastery of Shaun Evan's acting after Cyril dies and Morse just does not know what to do. He knows he's an orphan now, he's been an orphan even since before this moment, but now it's real and he's still getting over being shot and the pain in his face when he realises this is just- gah. Wonderful.
Season 2
Nocturne! The moment in the morning when Morse is standing outside with Max. Both of their masks slipping when Max asks Morse to find whoever killed the dead girl and to bring her to justice. I have many thoughts on that scene and Morse's face- the darkness and determination in his eyes just ruins me.
Monica! My most beloved Monica Hicks! The fact that Morse is so confident and loved by her just makes what happens later all the more painful, which is why they will forever be my OTP. (There, I've said it, @sandfordsmostwanted can back me up.)
Neverland. Oh gods, Neverland. I remember screaming in a discord DM to @gohoubi whilst I watched it and watching Exeunt just confimed how important an episode it was. Damn you Russ Lewis. Damn you for making me remember Peter Jakes and his desperation to get out and Morse's desperation to bring him closure. It never truly leaves you, does Neverland. This is their grand finale which Morse and Thursday survive and have to learn to live with the fact that they both have survived rather than going down in a blaze of glory.
And nothing will ever be the same again.
Season 3
Fluffy, sulky saint hair! The Great Gatsby! The season where Mr Bright came up trumps and made me feel so deeply emotional about well- everything to do with Bright's storyline, that was only exasabated in Season 7. Arcadia which made me feel so many emotions about Jakes regaining Paradise in America through Hope and Morse giving him that chance with his promisery notes. Hearing more about Morse's aethisim and how the strength of Constance's faith and then her death makes it probably one of my favourite episodes.
Season 4
Season 4 is strange. I can't really pick anything out of it- apart from the end of Game when Fred rescues Dorothea out of a burning car. And Joan. Oh, Morse and Joan and Lazaretto and their deep unhappiness and unwillingness to talk about it.
And then the wonderful strangeness of Harvest. I loved Harvest. I loved the interactions between Morse and Dorothea. I loved the fact that they can sit in a car and Dorothea can pull out what is really going in with him and he is comfortable to talk to her, to confide in her. Their friendship means the world to me, partcularly as the seasons go on and we see less of it, but the bits that we do see are beautiful and poignant and makes my heart ache.
Season 5
Fancy! Trewlove! The utter anguish of watching Morse try and fail to look after Fancy and only at the end realising how much potential he had when it was too late. The agony of Coldwater and seeing himself in Stanhope- a bright, ignored, belittled, bullied child.
The moment in Icarus when he asks Joan whether she wants to go for coffee after Trewlove tells him not to waste any more time. It just makes the drink (and the time that he has to explain) his feelings to Joan in s9 all the more poignant and agonising. And Joan herself knowing that she can't wait around for Morse to be knight in shining armour and sweep her off feet. The hero truly doesn't get the girl because he realises too late (back in s3/s4) that he's in love with her when she's leaving and both of them have to pick up the pieces from that fall out and fail, miserably.
Season 6
I enjoyed season 6. I really did. I enjoyed Morse trying (oh how he tries) to bring Thursday back when he falters and defects to Box. I love that we see who Thursday really is- the darker part, the part that survived being a London copper, but who can still be kind to children and mourn innocents who are caught in the crossfire.
I enjoyed Morse really coming into his own here, he truly is an 'adult' at this point- the young man who looks at Thursday like he hung the moon after he was shot in season 5 and then gets to drive is truly gone. In its place is a man who wants to hide, who can't bear to see the destruction of his own mistakes, but knows that he has to bring justice to George.
And the final showdown! 'We are city men!' A perfect showdown showing that as much as Division can break Morse, can degrade Bright and Thursday, Jim and their own determination to rescue one of their own wins the day. (I also want Morse's coat from that season, but that's another post in itself.)
Season 7
Violetta! Ludo! Venice! The whole season being an opera and ending on the perfect painful finale of Thursday rescuing Morse, having read his letter to Joan.
That letter ruined me. The knowledge that Morse has burnt his bridges, has cut ties (so he thinks) with his guvnor. Has cut his ties with Bright, even though he is trying so hard to do the right thing, even though he goes about it in completely the wrong way.
The fact that Thursday realises this and still goes out, still rescues him, still gives him a second chance (and saves him, and saves him and saves him)
Season 8
Puns are supposed to be funny, aren't they? The fact that in the depths of his despair and misery and pain, Morse with all of his fluffy hair, can smile and accept that he can't go on like this, is agony. Worse still, is Gwen, turning up on his doorstep and the facade that he has built up around him is shattered. Here is a woman who can belittle him, can bring out the terrified boy he was when Constance died and relish in seeing him crumble.
And then the ending! The sitting in a pub garden with Thursday, drinking and talking about justice. Or the lack of it. And realising that everything has changed. Everything has changed and the only way out is to accept it and for Morse to go away. To go away whilst the world still turns and his friends move on, and he stays stubbornly in the centre.
Season 9
Sober Morse arriving back in Oxford from Lyme Regis and realising that everything has changed, everyone has moved on is just agony.
Seeing himself, as he does with so many children, in Rose Garland- another bright, bullied child who went the way he could've done, had he not found the right path.
The fact that he spends all of this season trying so hard to tie up loose ends, trying to bring justice to Peter Williams and Andrew Lewis (Andrew Lewis had a family who loved him and a cousin- 'a police cadet in Newcastle' who wanted to see justice and Jakes. And then, years later, that same cousin finds Morse.
And then all of that comes to a head when Lott arrives- doing much as the same as Gwen and belittling Morse- not bothering to learn his rank, but sending him back to a 'college' lad who desperately wanted to belong somewhere.
And then the ending. Oh, God. Morse giving up all of his prinicples to protect Thursday. One last drink in the pub. Morse throwing Henry IV at Thursday because he cannot see the man he knew, the man he admired and respected, 'the captain who I would've followed into hell.' so much, any more.
Morse standing at Joan and Jim's wedding, surrounded by a glitter ball and disco lights and 'Rocket Man' playing. He doesn't belong in this world anymore. This world has moved on without him- 'we should tell people if they mean something to us, don't you think?' But he hasn't and he can't because there is no time left and the world has no place for an opera loving, crossword solving, grumpy, snipey, young man who wants to bring justice to the world.
The final scene at Blenheim Palace just ruined me. Singing Faure's Requiem, heralding the true end of the beginning. Morse having a sense of peace on his face as he sings, knowing that with the gift of Thursday's gun and the gunshot in the churchyard, he has truly said goodbye to his former self and can now, as he drives away and the summer heat rolls into the Jag, find his true and inner peace.

Battle #12.1, Pao Prarie, Second Attempt
It takes around 3 turns to finally get to the point where my girls can fight. And what do you know, Tao, the mascot starts off every turn!
And she's first to attack too. I could keep her safe, but I'll inch further to get the max amount of use for Blaze Level 3. Keep forgetting I have that.
Good thing I did because we are at a new level!!
Def +1, Spe +2 and NOW Mae can destroy the Pegasus knight to keep Tao safer. These two are the dream duo.
And Khris is in PRIME healing Range.
Let's hope Amon can join in some prime cleanup and tanking. (She will die in 2 hits).
Of course, the two lizardmen try to attack her, one getting her down from 21/21 to 8/21. I salute her in at least getting 16 exp... BUT SHE EVADES IT! SHE COULD PROBABLY GET HEALED AND GET A KILL!!!! AMON!!! I knew I could trust you.
Or... Tao will get the kill before Khris or Amon can move. As long as we get kills and enough gold to revive for what will undoubtably be our next battle... with Elliot...
And Tao found a Heat Axe! That... No girl can use. (Why no female dwarves!?) Oh well, free gold.
I'll let Mae kill the Pegasus Knight so Amon can (hopefully) get her kill with the Lizardman.
Or Anri gets a kill. Sure. Why not. The game HATES the bird people.
Yeah... so Amon never got to move and Khris also never got to move before ANOTHER Lizardman came up and... killed Amon. It SUCKS that Balbaroy and Amon are the same class but Amon is supposed to have worse stats.
Khris will get revenge via use of the Power Staff.
Also the enemy AI is SO dumb. They could have went after Mae, or Khris, or Diane... but they just LINE UP to DIE.
MAE HE HAD ONLY 3 HIT POINTS LEFT WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT.
ANRI WHAT THE HELL. AND SHE LATER EVADES HIS ATTACK WHAT THE-
Diane gets a kill.
So while I'm moving the ladies forward, I get them attacking a Lizardman. Some PEGASUS KNIGHT comes over to ANRI and Hits her- for 7/14 damage. I sigh out of relief. BUT THEN IT DOES A DOUBLE ATTACK AND- ANRI LIVED. ON ONE HP. THAT'S WHY SHE'S THE GOAT!!! THE GOOOOAAATT- A lizard man killed her.
Damn.
Khris can't get ANY healing in. Until THIS turn. Where she heals Diane for 6 HP. ... WHO THEN IMMEDIATELY GETS ATTACKED BY A PEGASUS KNIGHT FOR 9 HP ARE YOU SHITTING ME-
I only have one left...
... and I'm saving it. TAO KILL THE SILVER KNIGHT WITH THREE HP LEFT WITH YOUR POWER STAFF.

And the Lizardman TRIES to kill Tao, but fails. Tao gets healed by Khris, and the Lizardman gets killed by Diane. Who still needs healing. But then the SILVER KNIGHT COMES OVER and tries KILLING TAO with a Double attack....
This battle is going to kill them all again I feel it. We're not even to ELLIOT YET. Tao and Mae work together to kill the Silver Knight. I think I'll have Diane focus on the Knight attacking Khris, and use level 1 healing the best I can.

And Tao comes over to clean up Diane's leftovers. Mae, meanwhile, delivers a nice attack to get rid of the Pegasus Knight.
Current Plan - Tao and Khris are the melee in front. Diane between them. And behind these two priests is Mae to tank from Elliot's crew behind him.
Khris can't quite make it but the other ladies are handling themselves fine so she'll just heal herself.

Well, at least the next attack for Mae was a DEADLY ATTACK.
While I had the other girls kind of huddling to hide from the Artillery... Mae can take it down in one hit.
Let's see how useful Blaze level 3 is against this dragon. 10 points... okay... good to note.

... honestly fuck the regeneration mechanic. THIS MAN CAN DO 31 POINTS OF DAMAGE (deadly attack but still). And you're supposed to be a LOWER LEVEL THAN MY CHARACTERS.
Diane is an INFLATED LEVEL 12!!!
"Oh but GirlPower doesn't that balance with the rest of the game?"
Sure, maybe, but at the same time he's got a MASSIVE evasion stat. This battle can be absolutely brutal if you don't know where to pick up Gong, with Khris and Lowe having less MP than Khris has now, and PEGASUS KNIGHTS and SILVER KNIGHTS that are either impossible to hit or impossible to kill for your level. A LIZARD MAN has a HEAT AXE which you COULD farm for the Blaze spell but it will BREAK after a FEW uses!
Even if I had the evasion stat not kick in for Elliot, Mae and Diane only do averages of 13+8 damage. That's 21 damage. Practically 6 when thinking about the regeneration mechanic.
It would take me ten turns of getting consistently lucky to not trigger the evasion to kill him with just Mae and Diane. And that's only IF I can keep Khris up as a meat shield. Or have other meat shields survive like a no MP Tao, Anri, or Amon. But unfortunately one "STUNNING ATTACK" deals 32 hp to my hyperbuffed Khris, killing her.
And with his luck, Diane and Mae are as good as dead. Attempt number 2 is a bust.

I belive wholeheartedly in separatism, all women should follow the example of Korean feminists. Why? Because men have show us time and time again that they don't give a fuck about women unless they have a sense of ownership to them (i.e. being family). They have no empathy, they see us as objects, they creates and mantain a syatem that fucks us over every single day and every time we gain some rigths, they push hard to make sure we lose something else in exchange.
"Now you can study, you little female? Well, sucks to be you because now you can't have abortions! Let's make sure your hopes and dreams get crushing popping nice little babies for the system so men can keep having the advantage, mmkay?"
They literally created hate movements against us, they are violent, cruel, they have no remorse in leading on a woman and use her for years just to kick her to the curve when he gets tired. Look at all those tiktoks with shitty husbands treating their partners as bangmaids. They say it's a joke but those jokes are nothing but a little taste of what they really think.
There is no hope for us in changing men, it wont happen. They don't want to change, they don't want anything to change and there is a whole ass system that convinces them they are in the rigth since they are 3 years old, so no amount of "feminist education" is going to do shit. As soon as their buddies start making fun of them, they will forgo all your teachings and be one with the group.
We HAVE to think on ourselves. Women have to change, not men. We have to figth for more rigths, we have to be united, have class consciense, we have to nurture relationships between women so we can support each other and lift each other up. We have to study, to create, to play the game and have each others hand while leaving men behind. No dates, no children, no nothing until shit changes. I want all groups of women being happy with each other creating their own self sufficient communities far away from men.
They want to be the King of the hill? Cool. Let's leave them all alone and watch as they eat each other. Their system only works with us women taking the grunt of it: being their mommies, nurses, maids, prostitutes, shrinks, etc. When they don't have any women to use and berate, they turn against each other. Let them all go Mad Max while we have our own place and watch how things change.

Persona Thoughts Part. 3

I watched a Very supercut ver. I don't have a PSVita or old PlayStation and my computer can't handle an emulator. The only max links I saw were Aigis, Yukari, Pharos and SEES. I will buy Portable sometime in the future.
I've seen a bit of 3 (S links {Girls}, Makoto). I don't like his personality, but we'll see if he gets better.
I've also seen the first bit of 3P and I have to say I don't care that P doesn't have cut scenes.
I love his old MP3 Player.
God, I fucking hate Pharos! Are you supposed to like him? Because he's just a fucking creep. Also signing rando contracts/pieces of paper without reading and or consulting a lawyer. I know it's to put your name in but; it feels like if it wasn't a game thing. You might get bad end if you signed.
I know some of the story (more the big picture, less details).
Does Yukari think she can summon her Persona right in the dorms? Wait, would that work? Also, she was going to pull a gun (albeit a non-shooty one) on a random guy? Jumpy much. Why were the lights off? I guess Yukari's this games "scared of ghosts" person.
Gotta be cool to ride a monorail to school. What's with the teacher's 80s hair and outfit? She looks more at home in 1/2 than 3.
So, Dumbledore is your principal? How much of a part does he play?

Cursing...but not being a d**k about it
"I only utilize white magic(k)".
"I only harness black magic(k)".
"I practice somewhere in a grey area".
We hear it all the time. Magic(k) referred to as black/white/grey or dark/light. When we first start out on our path, it is easy to gravitate towards this way of thinking. We had already been conditioned to see things in a good/evil way that it made the most sense to break aspects of the occult into these two categories when we first step out. But, once we walk down our own paths long enough, we begin to come to forks where we now have to make some form of decision.
Personally, these have been the moments where I began to see past the good/evil, light/dark, white/black. The decisions I had to make were rooted in healing, protection, growth, etc. My intentions are never to hurt others. Soon, my path was no longer hindered by these mental blocks of "is it white or dark magic(k) I'm doing?". It became more of the "am I doing harm? No? I'm okay".
There are practitioners who will outright refuse to use curses, hexes, and jinxes. Some people do not like confrontation. They don't want to bother, upset, or hurt others. I understand them, I do not fault them, and I do not push them to do anything that is not part of their practice. That would be a d**k move.
I use curses, hexes, and jinxes in my practice. I use them for protection purposes! It may seem like a more severe form of protection but sometimes you need to carry a knife on you when you are walking alone at night. Severe forms of protection are still forms of protection.
Before I go any further, let's look at the difference between the three forms of spells. Many view the three interchangeably. I practice them as 3 varying degrees.
Jinxes - essentially the baby of the family in this group of siblings. These are the easiest to cast and can be the simplest of things. "I hope x can't keep their shoes tied today" is the perfect example of a jinx. You're just inserting enough annoyance to make someone think.
This would be your first step. They require little energy and cause the least amount of harm. Jinxes will rarely physically hurt another person. Again, these are meant to be little annoyances that last for a very brief period of time.
Hexes - the petty, middle child. These require a bit more energy and a bit more thought. It still doesn't have to be elaborate but they usually have more power behind them. A "nothing will feel comfortable" type of spell. The goal is to make the person on the receiving end feel a semblance of what you are feeling. It is meant to make them realize that they did something wrong.
Since these use a smidge more power than jinxes, these can last a little bit longer. Not normally longer than a few days at max. The point of the hex is to make the person who hurt you or you need protection from know they did wrong and hurt you.
Curses - the end all, be all. The protective older sibling. The one ready to throw hands at all members of a family if necessary. These are the ones that everyone is afraid of, and with good reason. These are meant to hurt anyone it is attached to. These are the "oh, shit" buttons you hit in video games when the chips are down. These are the ones that can span generations.
"If they are so bad, why would we want to use them?"
Well, there may never come a time when you want to use them. There may come a time, however, when you need to utilize them. When all other options have failed, you should always have one more thing up your sleeve. But there is a way to cast curses without being a d**k about it.
A big lesson Generation Y in the USA has learned over the years is about family. Your blood family does not have to be your ending family. People are working hard to break out of generations of "bad blood", choosing the members of their families over who was born into it. That person, the one who broke free, did nothing wrong. They shouldn't be affected by the curse. So, stipulations should be written in. There should always be some form of clause that allows those affected by the curse to break it. Leaving a curse open ended to blindly destroy and wreak havoc is irresponsible and a d**k move. Curses can affect more than one person at a time but it doesn't have to be against an innocent who just had the misfortune of being born into the same bloodline.
At the end of the day, the question becomes the following:
Am I protected from outside harm? Am I protecting myself from outside harm?
You don't need to compromise your morals for your protection.

I think it would be possible (though sad) for El to believe she has friends in Cali, even if the girls are horrible to her. Her closest female friend in Hawkins was Max, who loved her but could be kind of argumentative and abrasive with the rest of her friends. Underneath it all was love of course, but maybe El looks at Max's attitude to the boys and thinks these Cali girls are treating her the same way. That they like her really, the way Max likes the boys, and it's all fun.
Maybe. I still think it's weird that she could be so easily duped, but when we look at El's history...
She had an abusive relationship with Brenner. She was just a tool to him, and he used horribly coercive methods to keep her in line.
Mike and Dustin were nice enough to her, though Lucas gave her the cold shoulder at first. They still used her, and Mike angrily lashed out when he thought she was lying about helping them find Will.
Hopper was very harsh and controlling of her, even if it was in an effort to protect her.
She spent a year fantasizing about a relationship with Mike while watching soap operas and spying on him through the Void.
She met her "sister," who tried to use her as a weapon.
They jumped into a rather shallow relationship dominated by secrecy, codependence, and aloofness towards their friends. El barely spoke with Lucas or Dustin during season 3.
She finally became friends with Max, but only after she felt Mike wasn't playing his part in their relationship. She let Max use her powers, albeit benignly, for fun and games and to spy on their friends.
Let's be honest: El has no actual idea of what real interpersonal relationships should look like. She's willing to let people use and mistreat her in order to gain their approval. Her relationship with Mike was terrible for both of them, and she seemed happier without it, but she went right back to it when her life started to fall apart.
El is desperate to have friends. Remember that everything fell apart for her at the end of season 3. Hopper "died," she had to move away from her friends, and her powers are gone. That's basically everything that had anything to do with what sense of identity she had built to that point. One can understand why she'd want to try to recapture some of that in her new home, and a bunch of Heathers who would torture the new girl by pretending to be her friend would find easy prey in El. They just don't realize they're starring in Carrie, not some John Hughes movie.
I can't say I'm thrilled that El seems to be getting a Carrie moment. Besides it meaning she's going to go through some horrible trauma that will make it hard to redeem her, it suggests that she will not actually much development as a "normal" kid like I'd hoped. Once her powers come back, all of that gets derailed.
I'm wondering if she hasn't been writing Max, or if Max is going through too much grief to write to her. I can't see Max not asking about El's "friends" and then getting angry on her behalf for how they treat her. If there's anyone El would listen to, it'd be her. I can only imagine Will has tried to talk to her about it, since he's witnessed it.
Maybe she knows they treat her like crap, and they don't start being "nice" until the skating scene. I can see poor El getting a surprise invitation and getting all excited, only for them to tear her down.
On the other hand, it could be all in El's head. There was some merch thing that showed roller skaters depicted as demogorgons. I do wonder if that means El might hallucinate, possibly as a result of the lighting effects in the roller rink. It could be a sort of PTSD situation. It would still bother me that her powers would just conveniently return in time for season 4, though.

Max Evans has had one hell of a year. The Roswell, New Mexico Season 3 premiere, which picked up a year after the events of the Season 2 finale, saw the alien-turned-cop living large with his pseudo siblings Isobel and Michael. However, his easygoing demeanor was nothing more than a facade. As it turns out, he is dying, principally because his body is rejecting the heart transplant he received last season. Now, he is on a mission to wrap up his unfinished business -- not the least of which involves Liz Ortecho, the estranged love of his life, and Jones, the alien from whom he was cloned.
Speaking to CBR, Roswell, New Mexico star Nathan Dean offered some insight into Max's end-of-life plans. He shared why it was so fun to play two separate characters in Season 3, as well as how that effect was accomplished behind the scenes. He explained the key difference between Max and Jones, which may very well show Max his own potential. He teased Anatsa's key role this season and warned fans to be worried about the results of Maria's ominous visions. He also previewed Max's reunion with Liz, the real-world issues that Season 3 will tackle and more.
CBR: This season, you're playing two separate characters. How do you alter your approach to differentiate between Max and Jones?
Nathan Dean: You know, Max has spent his whole life suppressing who he is, suppressing his abilities and trying to hide and trying to be human. Jones has never tried to do that. He has never suppressed anything. He's never tried to stop himself from finding his full potential. So really, it was just the opportunity.
I thank our showrunner Chris Hollier and our writers for allowing me to do this, to really step into the potential of what Max could have been under different circumstances, if he hadn't grown up on Earth around humans. If he never tried to suppress these abilities, if he never tried to suppress who you are or your potential, what is that? What is the limit there? For Jones, there is none.
So it was really fun to then step into this fully evolved version of the character that I've been playing and then switch between the two, go back to understanding the circumstances of, "Alright, you're human, you're trying to be human," but then switch back into, "Oh, no, you're not. You're so much more than human. You're something far beyond that." Yeah, juxtaposing the two was a lot of fun.
What is it like for you to act opposite yourself? What does that look like for you behind the scenes?
Nathan Dean: It's very weird! It's very weird. You know, there were days where there would be myself and there would be a photo double -- one for Max, one for Jones -- and there would be stunt doubles -- one for Max, one for Jones -- and we just kept multiplying on set. But it was very bizarre. It was a lot of fun.
You sort of do one side of the scene a certain way and then switch over. You know, you take the beard off, you change the outfit and change the mannerisms, change the demeanor, and then try to have a conversation with the self that you just were. It was very fun! [laughs] It was very bizarre, but it was great.
Thanks to Jones, Max is finally getting some of the answers he's longed for. How will that impact the way he sees himself, particularly in relation to Isobel and Guerin?
Nathan Dean: It impacts him a lot. I mean, we spent this past year... we weren't working. You know, a lot of people weren't working and you just kind of sit at home and have to look yourself in the mirror and really figure out who you want to be and how you want the world to remember you and how you want the world to see you.
Max is confronted with this thing in a very real person of Jones, literally looking yourself in the mirror. It sort of forces Max, I think, to take stock and appreciate Guerin and appreciate Isobel and Liz, too. I mean, just be grateful for having them in his life and finding out his place in the universe. You get to see, I think, that growth from him all season of just that gratitude and approaching people with respect, and respecting his situation so much more seeing it from someone else's eyes.
As we found out in the premiere, Max is dying. How does he envision his last days? What does his bucket list look like?
Well, I think largely it comes down to him wanting to respect and honor the people around him that have loved him in his life, and he hasn't necessarily always been good on that. So he just really wants to just be there for the people he cares about. I think for him, dying quietly and disappearing is the best option. He's always wanted to disappear into the shadows, but this season and Jones in particular kind of forced him to step out of those shadows and step into himself more.
I hope that, by the end of the season, that we see a much more mature, a much more fully formed Max than we have in the past. He's no longer allowed to hide because now there's two of him! So yeah, he's kind of forced to step into the spotlight when he doesn't necessarily want to.
It looks like Roswell has a new sheriff in town. How will that affect Max's job and his role in the community?
Nathan Dean: It doesn't really affect him. I mean, Max thankfully is not -- he doesn't have his job by election, but it definitely hurts him because Valenti was tough, but she was always kind of on his side and had his back. So yeah, he has to definitely adjust and learn a new place and learn if you he trust the new sheriff, who is coming into town in very crazy times, because now there's not one, but there's two of me.
He's got to learn how to adjust with that and hopefully, the new sheriff will be able to -- maybe not be as understanding as Valenti was, but yeah, she'll have a whole new set of problems to deal with. I hope we can trust her and hope that he'll be able to keep his job and try to keep her out of it as much as possible. But yeah, it's definitely a new rule.
In this week's episode, we learn a little more about Anatsa and her reason for coming to Roswell. How will we see that dynamic evolve as the season progresses?
Nathan Dean: Well, that's gonna be fun. I mean, she has her own agenda, definitely, and Max is a little bit reckless off the top and kind of steps a little bit out of line. But yeah, I mean, she's coming here, she's gonna learn a whole lot of things that she wasn't quite ready to learn when she first came to Roswell. Yeah, as the season goes on, we'll see her become integrated into not only Max's life, but then obviously, Michael and Isobel's life as well. She is really striving to uncover what turns out to be some uncomfortable truths.
Roswell has never shied away from dipping its toes into controversial topics, so how does that set the stage for the show to tackle some real-world current events?
Nathan Dean: Well, we've all been through a lot of these last couple years. Having jumped forward a year, we definitely touch on -- I mean, it's unavoidable. There was a pandemic! There was a lot of people going through some pretty difficult times. Yeah, we definitely jump into it. I mean, we'll talk about it. We always try to stay as current as possible.
I mean, the fact that Max is a cop, that's controversial in and of itself, and we definitely talk about that. Yeah, like you said, we don't shy away from situations that are going on in the real world, and I think this year, we were given a good platform to be able to have these conversations with level heads and not shy away from it. Stuff will come up about being a cop; stuff will come up about the pandemic. Kyle, one of our main characters, is a doctor. This stuff that doctors have had to go through these past couple of years, it's all very, very much at the forefront of this show.
We try to tackle everything with a level head and with respect. We just were given a lot of ammunition this past year, and we'll dive into it and we'll talk about it. But central to our show, obviously, is going to be these aliens and the relationship between Liz and Max and all that. So we try to play it all on an even playing field.
Just how trustworthy is Jones?
Nathan Dean: [laughs] I think you've got to figure out his agenda first! I mean, you've got to figure out what he wants. Ultimately, Jones sort of operates as a window into the past. Michael and Isobel primarily, but also Max, always had these questions boiling around in their minds about, "Who are we? Why are we here? Where did we come from? What's our place in the stars? What are we doing? What's happening?" And Jones is a window into that.
He obviously has his own plans and his own thing, but at the end of the day, yeah, he's sort of what Max could have been, had Max not grown up on Earth. We get to see that unfold and unfold throughout the season. So yeah, I mean, do you trust Max? Do you just Isobel? Do you trust Michael? Do you trust any of these aliens? Do you trust Jones? I don't know! That's all yet to be seen.
Maria keeps having visions of a funeral and she isn't quite sure who's in the coffin. How worried should fans be?
Nathan Dean: Definitely be worried. You know, we're just learning now what Maria's abilities are and what her role in this cosmic game is. As we move forward, trying to figure out what her ability is, and are these are these, in fact, real? Are these set in stone? Is this something that can be changed? What are these visions? Are these the future that's going to happen or a future that could happen?
Yeah, we learn a lot about Maria this year, and obviously Liz is off in LA trying to figure out how to deal with that as well. It's fun to sort of -- you know, she's one of the new aliens in the group and we get to figure out what that's about.
What can you tease about Max's reunion with Liz?
Nathan Dean: I mean, Max and Liz have this relationship that is constantly push and pull. They're in this orbit around each other they just can't break. It is very appropriate that she literally runs into him, because no matter how hard they try to be apart and try to be separated, the world, the universe, whatever it is, they just keep literally crashing into each other.
Obviously, it's been a year. Max is not doing well, in a lot of ways. There's also another Max out there somewhere. So yeah, they crash into each other in quite a spectacular way.

FAME: A Legacy Challenge
Sul sul simmers!
Like many of you, one of my favorite things to do in The Sims is play Legacy Challenges. They lead you to explore new aspects of gameplay, give you new imaginative ideas, and facilitate storytelling. So, a couple of nights ago I got the idea to create a new kind of legacy challenge revolving around different aspects of fame.
The goal isn’t exactly to become the most famous using said career/ skill, but to play around with different elements of the fame system in the game. You by no means need all the packs to play through this legacy. While the experience would be more complete and you will be missing careers and skills and stuff you can obviously adapt it to your need. Also, you are more than welcomed to use mods to enrich your gameplay. I myself can’t play without mods and look forward to see what kind of chaos mods can add to this challenge.
So without further a do below are the 10 generations I concocted like a fever dream at 2 am on a Saturday evening:
Gen 1: A Shaky Foundation
Traits: Cheerful, Ambitious, Self-Absorbed
Career: Acting, Style Influencer (Trendsetter Branch)
You move to a new city full of hopes and dreams. You initially pursue your dream of becoming an actor. However, your career is cut short by the unexpected arrival of your first child. You retreat from the spotlight in order to raise your baby and put all of your energy into making sure they have the best future possible. The rest of the time you spend either working or trying to unwind from your demanding life. What will fate bring you and your descendants?
Goals:
Move into an empty lot with 1600 simoleons for the bare minimum.
Start in the Acting Career, but abandon it for the Style Influencer career once your first child is born. Remain in the Style Influencer Career and eventually choose the Trendsetter Branch.
Max out the Style Influencer Career.
Reach level 10 of the Parenting and Wellness Skills.
Be close friends with all of your children and make sure they each age up with at least 2 positive character attributes.
Gen 2: Get Your Head in the Game
Traits: Active, Music Lover, Outgoing
Career: Athlete, Entertainment (Musician Branch)
Your parent might have seemed very overbearing at the time, but they instilled a work ethic in you like no other. Your entire life you were split between your two passions: basketball and singing. Okay, fine, you're Troy Bolton. After succeeding in the sports world you still find yourself feeling somewhat unfulfilled. You enter the entertainment career later on in life to live out your dreams. Will this be the start of something new?
Goals:
Max out the Athlete Career and then switch to the Entertainment Career (Musician Branch).
Max out the Fitness and Singing Skills.
Be in the drama club in high school.
Gen 3: Going for the Stars
Traits: Clumsy, Loner, Genius
Career: Astronaut
Your parent always told you to shoot for the stars, you just took it a bit too seriously. This world was always a bit too pedestrian for you and you yearn to finally lay your eyes on the astronomical craters of Sixam. There's just one problem: you're terrible at it. It's not your fault, you're just a bit clumsy; but will your two left feet keep you from reaching your dreams?
Goals:
Work in the Astronaut Career your entire life. Get demoted and fired at least once in your lifetime.
Destroy and repair a rocket 3 times.
Live in a tiny home for your young adulthood and adulthood.
Have at least one set of twins. *You can cheat for this!*
Gen 4: The Finer Things in Life
Traits: Materialistic, Hates Children, Lazy
Career: None
You've seen all the generations before you work their little pixelated butts off for every simoleon, but you're not about that life. You were destined for the finer things in life.
Goals
Reach level 10 of the Charisma and Mixology Skills.
Marry and survive 5 spouses. Take that wording however you want. Divorce is not allowed. You must be the last once standing. After all, spouses are like infinity stones. Meaningless.
Never have a job. Only make money from spouses, family, or children. If you get desperate enough you can ask a friend for a loan or steal, but no working of any kind.
Each child you decide to have with one of your rich spouses comes with a 20k trust fund. If they get taken away or die before coming of age, all the money has to be returned to the evil capitalist overlords. You can't get rid of them that easily.
Own at least 1 restaurant/ retail/ business with one of your spouses. Decorate it, assign the uniform, and hire everyone, but you never run it. Why would you go through the trouble?
Gen 5: My Precious
Traits: Art Lover, Kleptomaniac, Self-Assured
Career: Criminal
Your childhood was pretty hectic and you felt like you barely knew your parents. Who needs them? You've never needed anyone else anyway. On your 18th birthday, you receive your inheritance and use it to buy yourself an unfurnished apartment in the nicest building you can find and that's when your money runs out... literally. However, will a new job as a tough guy be the first of many great ideas or will it only be the beginning of the end for this famed family?
Goals
Once you become a young adult give yourself enough money to buy one of the apartments in the Uptown Neighborhood in San Myshuno. It must be unfurnished. After moving in set your money to 0 simoleons.
Complete the Criminal Career.
Reach level 10 of the Mischief and Dancing Skills.
Gain an atrocious reputation and spend the rest of your life trying to cover it up.
Steal 10 paintings from a museum and exhibit them proudly in your home. You are never allowed to sell them. As an adult, hide them in a secret attic nobody else has access to or knows about. They are your precious.
Gen 6: The Muses
Traits: Creative, Family Oriented, Insider
Career: Painter
You could have anything you wanted in the world thanks to your family's empire so you pursued your passion: painting. While you were never close to your other family members you were always very close to your art teacher. This led you to have very close ties to your friends, co-workers, and eventual children. Will your legacy remain for longer in the memory of strangers or your loved ones?
Goals
Complete the Painter Career
Reach level 10 of the Painting, Cooking and Baking Skills
Have a better relationship with your art teacher than anyone else in your family until you're a teen.
Move to a new world once you become a young adult and cut ties with your family.
Be the leader of one club for all your young adulthood and adulthood.
Be close friends with 3 co-workers and all of your children.
Prepare a meal at least once a week with the help of your children. *I know we don't have this in the game yet technically, but I'm hoping to have Cottage Living by the time I play with this generation*
Hang 5 paintings in a museum.
Retire from Painting Career to help care for your grandchildren.
Gen 7: Mole
Traits: Good, Perfectionist, Paranoid
Career: None
You always had a good relationship with your parents. You told each other everything... well, almost everything. You never understood why but one of your parents never talked about the rest of your family members. They explained that they simply never had a good relationship and would rather not talk about it. You respect this until their death when you return to their seemingly abandoned childhood home. While exploring the house you find a not-so-subtle bookcase door and a long forgotten attic filled with paintings. You take them in hopes of returning them but unbeknownst to you, you are being watched.
After an unfortunately unavailable nail-biting car chase, you shake off your attackers. You can't just lead them home to the rest of your family and what would the police do? They don't even arrest Vlad when he's trying to bite all of your sims!
Sorry, different rant.
So you do the only logical thing: you sell the paintings you just stole for some cash to buy an empty lot and skip town. A new life awaits you... just a bit underground.
Goals
Reach level 10 of the Writing, Logic, and Handiness Skills.
Complete the Best Selling Author Aspiration.
After your parent dies, you visit Gen 5's main home and retrieve the paintings hidden in the attic generations ago. Sell them and use the money to buy an empty lot in a completely different world.
Use your remaining money to build a small underground bunker. You can now never leave your bunker or risk immediate death.
You make your income by writing books under your new name. Oh, didn't I mention that? You changed your name to avoid detection. Your children may carry this new fake last name or your partner's.
Gen 8: Part of Your World
Traits: Loves Outdoors, Outgoing, Geek
Career: Social Media
All you knew was the bunker and it's not that you hated it, you just wanted a bit more. You're basically the little mermaid, except you don't get to be a mermaid. You just get a bunker you can never leave and a desperate yearning to explore the outside world.
Your outlet is the internet. From a young age you loved using it to play video games and make friends. As a teen you began to make videos and fostered a community online. Will you finally take your place in the world or remain hidden underground?
Goals
Reach level 10 of the Media Production and Video Gaming Skills
Complete the Social Media Career.
You're never allowed to leave the underground bunker until you're a teen.
You aren't allowed to go to school. Instead you play video games and use your computer for outside interaction.
As a teen you start developing your online presence by posting on social media and making videos on the video station.
You are only allowed to move out of the household once your parent dies and you have enough money in reserves to buy a furnished home.
Gen 9: Natural Born Performer
Traits: Gloomy, Unflirty, Adventurous
Career: Entertainment (Comedy Branch)
Due to your parent's fame, it was always expected you would follow in their footsteps. While a bit more gloomy than most, you are happiest when you make others laugh. So you join the Entertainer Career where you flourish as a comedian. You're also a bit unlucky in love. Will the family name's fame and your own notoriety keep you from finding true love or are you destined to a lifetime of gold diggers and one night stands?
Goals
Complete the Entertainer Career (Comedy Branch).
Reach level 10 of the Comedy and Rock Climbing skills.
Complete Serial Romantic Aspiration
Have four children.
Die suddenly and *mysteriously* in your adulthood.
Gen 10: A Grand Finale
Traits: Kleptomaniac, Ambitious, Perfectionist
Career: Actor
After losing your parents at a very young age, you and your siblings were sent to live with some distant relatives you didn't even know about. While you and your siblings are all very different and you bicker plenty, you always stick together.
After learning you are a descendant of some of the most famous and infamous sims in history, you are determined to meet and surpass their achievements. Will you come out on top or have you flown too close to the sun?
Goals
Complete the Actor Career
Achieve level 10 of 10 skills of your choosing.
Become a Global Superstar.
Get a star on Starlight Boulevard.
Throughout your lifetime you must go on vacation to every house you lived in throughout all previous 9 generations. Oh, and your three other siblings need to come along too. Think of it as Narnia meets It. Also make sure to steal something from each of the houses as a souvenir and display it proudly in your own home.
After you've completed all the things above, get turned into a vampire and choose to end your mortal legacy here... or start a whole new type all together.

Mystic Messenger Themes:
Okay so I haven't actively played this game in a long while (last one was on Jumin's birthday, the whole 11-day course, and then in September for V) and now that I'm playing Jaehee's Route (it's been tradition to play on their birth months), something clicked into place yesterday for me.
Now I won't dive deep into Another Story because damn that route was tiring. I had to buy max speed because the chats were so long and I didn't want Rika waking me up at 3am fnajdlajflafnlfklaf but Kudos to Cheritz for bring us something so soft and beautiful AND I STILL CAN'T GET OVER V'S ENDING FOR WHAT IT DID TO SAERAN, THAT WAS PAIN. I HURT SO BAD FOR THAT. And I just TvT watching Saeran grow????? Seeing Vandy's "accidental" selfie???? JAEHEE SINGING THE TACO SONG????? It made me so happy.
But what I'm actually here to talk about is the theme I discovered for every story. I won't go into details except for a brief background so spoilers for that, I guess? This might be a long post soooo let's get to it.
1. Jaehee
We all know Jaehee as the cool, collected, and the highly capable assitant of Mr. Han. Smart, athletic, and an absolute sweetheart, Jaehee had to sacrfice the life she had wanted to live in order to repay the kindness her uncle and aunt had given her, and to no longer be a burden on them.
Which is why Jaehee's theme is all about breaking free from the expectations brought about by society and finding out what it really means to be happy. It's about finding what it means to work for yourself from working to keep yourself afloat. It's discovering what draws the line between what keeps you fed and what keeps you happy and knowing if you want it enough to fight for it.
It's about being brave enough to take the dive between what is expected of you and what could happen if you went the other way.
It's about how one person to support you can sometimes be enough to help you.
2. Zen (I just about died with this picture)
Having left home at an early age and with an estranged relationship with his family, Zen was familiar with the hardship of carving a path all on his own, on making ends meet, and on having no one to rely on but himself.
Zen chose his path and was determined to see it through, regardless of the hardship, the struggle, and the sacrifices.
Zen's theme is all about fighting for your dreams no matter the challenge. It's about giving your 110% and still hoping for the best even if it yields little results. It's about trying again and again and getting up because this is your passion and this is your hope. It's about chasing after victory yet also learning to slow down, to take deep breaths, and to accept help. That being helped is okay. That the world is not out to get you.
It's about knowing you don't have to pave your path on your own.
3. Yoosung
With no dreams or plans or hope for himself, Yoosung learned to listen to the people around him. What he does, how he does it, what he should do - all these dictated by those he trusts and loves. But to him, there is no meaning. There's only do and that's that. But Rika stepped him, gave him meaning and purpose, and for once in his life he wanted something. He wanted to help others just as she did, to save them the way she does, to care for them the way she would. But then he lost her. And everything became dark.
Yoosung's theme is about grief and finding healing. It's about finding your way through the darkness, getting up when you don't even have the strength to breathe, and actively fighting against the storm cloud over your head when all you want to do is curl up and let the day pass away.
It's about knowing that being like this isn't good and about finding the strength, the hope, and the will to try and fight it. It's about trying and failing and trying again. It's understanding that healing isn't linear and how it's important to try again.
It's about finding a support system who can help you pull through. It's about knowing that sometimes it's family, sometimes it's friends, but also always with you.

FEH - My free summons on 9/17/2021 + data mine thoughts
Hey, what's good?
So, the banner based on the [Cindered Shadows] DLC from Fire Emblem: Three Houses (with Múspell on it) + its respective data update is finally out.
First, my free summons in the banner mostly weren't anything of special, prioritized blue as planned but nothing. In the round with the fourth free summon though, was forced to pick the fallback category (colorless) and...
Heh... nice, that's my second Leila, I won't complain at all, it's always nice to get a 5★ with valuable fodder or an unexpected merge on a project. I'll try to max her [HM] then fodder to Legendary Lilina for [Life and Death 4] as well as [Rally Atk/Spd+], fortunately these will be easy to get.
Nothing else but that's OK. I'll just move on and at least I know I'll eventually run on the other skill I want on Legendary Lilina, which is [A/R Far Trace 3], since it's going to be in the regular pool after this banner is over.
Now, onto data mine stuff, you can find the thread by redditor u/MrGengar123 right here, but feel free to read my thoughts onto what we've gotten (there'll be no talk about story spoilers and the like).
So... the thing that probably interests players the most when a data mine rolls out would be stats on the Heroes that come with the update.
Múspell doesn't really play so differently from what we've possibly experienced on [Ice & Flame 3] with him as an enemy, he's more of a dual-phase unit that focus his strength on a single blow, is durable both physically and magically (but slow as hecc) and prevents the foe from healing. Noteworthy is that he brings [Dragon Wall 3] to the regular pool, which you should definitely prioritize from his fodder if that's your plan and got him.
Also, more or less expected the statlines on the other three banner units, nothing too special to stand out in those but Yuri is probably going to give us new worries in nowadays metagame in PvP.
But Balthus has a similar statline to Mustafa (45/38/25+/36/28-) but Balthus's statline is superior, as you could have imagined, just being one point slower than Mustafa, but the rest, Balthus has the upper hand. About him there's also the skill choice, I didn't realize before that his weapon indeed looked like an {Instant} one, and it is, it's a good one and we're getting it for free, so, be sure you got your 5★ Balthus (check in-game inbox with Feh)! But I.S. just ruined it up with the passive skill choice, why do we have [Close Guard 3] still as a 5★ skill? It's just stupid specially since [Brazen Atk/Def 3] is already on Ares at 4★ and there's like nothing that should justify it staying locked to that rarity nowadays.
And Aelfric just got the worst treatment out of this batch, while his class seems to make sense due to how he's designed as a unit in his home game, his kit just feels completely lacking in creativity and also, he's just one of the several free red tome users we've been getting this year, his statline is basically a slightly beefed up Arete but without a horse, it's also our second month in a row with a red tome infantry user, their statlines are different (comparing to Pelleas) but this doesn't change he's the fourth unit in the year with that class, with not much to make him stand out compared to the other ones except for maybe the post-[CYL 2021] statline boost benefit, but chances are Pelleas will do better for you and his starting weapon is better too, {Rabbit} weapons in general are mostly terrible Imo, they're okay for short battles but generally, there are better options, including good ol' {Blade} tomes. At least his rarer skill is at 4★, it's [Threat. Def/Res 2], which you can use to get [Def/Res Menace] and another skill from Zeke's fodder ([Atk/Def Catch 3] if you plan to fodder a Legendary Sigurd with the Lv.4 version + [Fatal Smoke 3] or [Lull Atk/Def 3]).
Anyway, my plans on them would be:
Aelfric: fodder of [Threat. Def/Res 2] to users of physical weapons (thought of Legendary Lucina and Ephraim) after maxing out [HM], will keep one copy at 5★ for rerun quests.
Balthus: fodder of [Instant Axe+] and [Close Guard 3] for Groom Zealot, also after maxing out Balthus' [HM], working on that as of writing date of this post.
Now, next [Hall of Forms] lineup consists of these units from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance:
Bridal Sanaki: green tome flier.
Ashnard: sword flier. ([GHB] unit)
Halloween Ilyana: blue tome armored. (!!!)
Soiree Nephenee: colorless bow infantry user with ability to refresh an ally. (And she's currently summonable and obtainable for a limited time as a [Combat Manual])
Now this is a really well balanced team, no healers but you get a refresher and one unit of each color, two that use physical weapons and two that use magical ones, which should make things more workable in the event as it goes on and you fill everyone with skills that suit them. It's a nice line-up indeed and Halloween Ilyana is great for [A/R Far Save 3], if you'll go for her, [Atk/Res Unity], [Pact Blooms+] (go for another seasonal weapon if you already have (or can get) Valentine's Veronica!) and an enemy-phase oriented {Fighter} B-skill such as [Slick Fighter 3] are also excellent to take along (if you take these, remember [Atk/Res Unity] and [Slick Fighter 3] are counterproductive, you'd like [Crafty Fighter 3] instead!).
Two of them happen to be my Tellius favs (Ilyana and Nephenee) but sadly can't purchase them and only got 1 [Celestial Stone] out of 3. Still, I'll build them as best as RNG allows it to, I specially adore Ilyana and I'll do what I can to make her great.
Bonuses in [Arena]... hmm... not much of interesting, at least I got Scion Julia but I'll use Scion Nanna so that I can balance the team color distribution in the team I'll use and have a healer (Idoun, Sonya and Ninian are the rest of the members).
In [Aether Raids] I got better luck with Mila and Naga, both of which are projects and characters I actually appreciate, so I'm set for two weeks there.

Prompts: This is my first attempt at prompt challenge that I accepted. It was posted by @riseandshinelittleblossom and I was given these lines by @openheart12 . The lines appear bold in the story.

Part 3:
In the morning my eyes open to the notification sound from my phone. It’s from Livy.
That last message makes me jump out of the bed. It is my favourite event- The Derby.
As I get ready my thoughts wander around the little banter I had with Livy over chat. I find myself smiling as I remember all those times, we had these talks growing up. It has always been like this. Every reply would always be to tease each other. Two years ago, she officially took over her duchy from her aunt Lucretia, who was a caretaker till Livy grew up. I shied away from there, as I found it inappropriate for a commoner to be a regular visitor to a Duchess. And now, we are left only with messaging each other. I hardly look at her in public. I shake my thoughts as they turn serious.
I need to go to the stables early. I quickly get ready and head to Liam’s room. I knock on the door and walk in without waiting for Liam’s reply.
“In the name of good Lord! Can’t you wait for a moment before I answer the damn door!” Liam shrieks trying to cover himself.
I give out a laugh and turn my back. “Okay, I’m sorry. I wanted to tell you that I am heading to Honeyhill downs a bit earlier then our plan. Ember is not well and she may feel left out while other horses are out for the race. I’m going to stay back with her. I will join you at the tents just before the race.”
Liam puts on his robe and comes to face me. “Do you realise you talk about that horse as if she is your girlfriend? Seriously, if you show even a tiny bit of same affection towards a human being you may have a real lady to call yours. And why didn’t you inform me last night?”
“I would have but that would have meant disturbing your little precious moment at the maze with your”, I say using air quotes, “girlfriend.”
Liam’s eyes give away a surprised look just for fraction of a second before composing himself. “I really like her!”, he says solemnly. “And I hope things work in our favour. But with this crowd of nobles I fear I will lose her.” Suddenly his demeanour changes and he looks at me with pleading eyes. “Can you help me by looking out for her? Especially when I am drowned in the rituals of the court.”
I know his feelings are sincere and I understand that this is important to him as Liam never asks anything of me-ever. He is a man who knows giving away for everybody. So I immediately agree and assure him that I will watch out for Riley.
I drive my truck and reach the stables well in time to give a quick check of all the horses. As planned, I stay back with Ember. When it’s about time I give her a pat, “Next time you will be fit enough to race, sweetheart! For now, you relax. I will come to check on you again tomorrow.”
As I move out of the stables I find Riley wandering nearby. “You seem to be lost.”
“Oh! Hi! Yes. Maxwell instructed me to move to the pink tents after meeting the press. But I can’t find pink tent anywhere.”
“Misinformed! You need to go to the white tent. Come on and I will show you the way.” We start walking in the right direction.
“You will be watching it from the same tent ?” she asks .
“No. I will be with Liam in his private tent.”
“May I join in too?”
“I am not sure. Let me check.” I quickly message Liam and get a prompt positive reply. “Lets go.”
We walk to the enclosed private tent around the racetrack. “There you go.”
She signals me to be quiet by placing a finger on her lips. I look at her puzzled. She moves in the tent behind Liam. He is staring at the racetrack busy in his thoughts. She makes a sound to scare him “Booh!”
He jerks up out of his seat, scared, but takes her in his arms within the next moment. She giggles in his warm hug and he has the broadest smile on his face. He looks up at me n mouths the words, ‘thank you!’ I m unknowingly smiling wide looking at the spark in my friend’s eyes.
As we settle down the race begins and we place our bets. I excuse myself in between to give the two love birds some time with each other. As the race comes to an end I escort Riley to the ladies group.
As I leave her, I get a glimpse of Livy's eyes staring at her. There is a flash of sadness before she covers it up with her cynical smile. I turn back to join Liam as we head to the lawn picnic. My mind is still trying to process what I saw in Livy's stare. I need to talk to her.
Queen Regina makes appearance at the lawn picnic. But what surprises everyone is Madeleine accompanying her. The former crown prince Leo abdicated the thrown after his social season. Madeleine is his ex fiancé. So everyone is wondering why is she here now?
Soon it is made clear that she is participating in Liam’s social season, as well. I look at Liam and we share our uncomfortable feeling over this awkward moment.
The teams are declared, Queen with Madeleine and Liam chooses Riley in his team. The game begins but my attention is caught by the pain in those green eyes.
I am not able to keep my eyes off Livy's face. What is it dear? I want to hug her right now and ask but I know I cannot be near the duchess without any urgent matter to discuss.
I lose interest in all the fun and game because, my mind is revolving around the same thought. I am going to meet Livy soon after this. I don’t realise when the game ends and when Max drags me along to the tea table.
Riley and Liam are seated already. There is another lady at the table. Riley perks up to make introductions. “ I am pleased to make your acquaintance with Lady Hana. Though we are competing as suitors here, I have found a great friend in her.” Hana’s brown eyes light up as she smiles and nods in curtsy. I acknowledge.
I settle down next to Liam. He senses my uneasiness and raises an eyebrow. I try to convince him with a smile and shake my head.
“Nothing that can’t wait for later.” I whisper.
We start eating the tiny tarts and just spoonful of snacks, something I hate about these events. I complain in the end that I m still hungry. Riley brings up cronuts and the rest of the table gets excited about trying the cronuts at a nearby bakery. I look at Liam wide eyed when I see him agreeing to sneak out of palace on Riley’s proposal. Liam is going all head over heels; my friend is planning to break rules! Whatever happened to the ‘stick to the rules' guy? Anyways, we plan to meet near the maze after sunset.
As we break off, I rush to the palace to catch up with Livy. I walk around her room for some time till I find the corridors clear and then tap urgently on her door.
“Come in,” her sharp voice calls out.
“Livy, it’s me!” I say as soon as I enter in. I feel weird. It’s been almost an year since I met her in private.
She is standing in the balcony, holding a glass in her hand, her eyes lost in the landscape somewhere in front of her.
“Livy?” I call out again as I get closer to her.
“ I don’t like it.” She says.
“Don’t like what?”
“This,” she shows her hands thrown out in general. “All this! I am stuck. We are stuck.”
“What’s going on in your mind, Livy?”
She frowns and glares at me. “First you move away now Liam is moving out.”
“I am pretty much here.”
“Yes, you are. Like everyone else is. For the crown.”
“I am still not getting what you want.” I purposely tease her more. She needs to lash out to get back to normal. Her Nevrakis' blood needs to boil enough before the outburst. “The events are going great and everyone is enjoying. Liam is happy, I think, really, very happy.” I push into her barriers a bit more.
I see the emeralds of her eyes getting clouded red with tears. There it comes. I brace myself. It is not an easy feat to stand alone against the wrath of Olivia Nevrakis.
“Just a year ago, I had all three of you, who called themselves my friends, with me!” she snarled. “ I was fine handling the heavy weight of the duchy of Lythikos all alone because I knew I had all of you to lean on. To keep me alive and human enough. Not the robotic royal machine I have to be in front of those high-headed nobles.”
“But you”, she jabbed a finger in my chest making me loose my balance. “ You were the first to conveniently wiggle out of the warmth that kept me together.” I stand straight again. “And now Liam is going all goofy puppy around that American. Fine! He is in love. I am happy for him. But he forgets,” she controls a sob, “forgets to be with me even on my parent’s death anniversary! Something that we have been doing together since I lost them.”
“ I am sorry Livy! I am so so sorry. I didn’t realise..” I don’t know what to say. I have always been worse, never having the right words in handling such situations. I try to move ahead and hug her, comfort her. But her palm faces right at me, stopping me.
“No. Not now. Not anymore.”
“Livy please!”
“I can see it’s getting worse. You kept treading outside my room long enough.” I looked at her with a shock. Nothing is hidden from her. She knew it was I outside her room!
Gauzing my thoughts, she continues. “I can recognise your footsteps. You should better know that by now.! You are scared to come and meet me or talk to me. I told you when I took up the duchy that I don’t care if you are a commoner. But you still continue acting Mr. Weird. I can’t take it anymore.”
She wipes the tears now rolling down her burning cheeks. With a new resolution, she blurts out, “It’s better that we stay away. I don’t want to be in and out of the comfort zone every other day. It’s better I take all the pain and hurt for once and all.”
I make another attempt to mellow her down. “Don’t do this Livy. Please!” I try to change the mood. “Riley has planned a sneak out cronut party. Come! We will enjoy ourselves together. It will be a nice change from the formal events. Max will be there too.”
She looks into my hopeful eyes one last time and then turns her back. “ I think I made myself pretty clear there. I don’t want to get hurt again. One day you're going to wake up and notice that you should have tried. I was worth the fight. It was nice knowing you. Enjoy your cronuts. Good bye!”, she walks away to her private chambers.
I stand there dumbfound. Suddenly my shoulders slump and I feel a heavy weight on my chest. After few minutes of inaction, I drag myself out of her room to the lawns outside. Somehow this is one moment where I don’t care if anyone catches me coming out of her room. I wish I had been brave enough earlier too, to not bother about who was watching me.
It feels like the worst day of my life. Losing her.

on one hand I get what folks are saying about the PT's bonds not being as strong as fans think, but on the other I can't help but be annoyed about it since Persona 3 and beyond are all about the power of bonds; it feels like Atlus just wants to have its cake and eat it too, by talking all about the powers of bonds without actually fleshing out those bonds appropriately and that bugs me :/ what about you?
It bugs me, too.
I feel like it would have made that moment during Christmas much more … important, I guess you could say … if I felt these bonds they supposedly have. Or the scene where they disappear from the public’s cognition or whatever it was again. That’s what made the Nyx fight in Persona 3 and what happens after it so emotional for me (especially if you play as the FEMC, since then you can bond with everyone in SEES as opposed to just the girls).
It helps that they all had something to say to encourage the MC/FEMC while in P5, it’s mostly just a random crowd and whatever non-party confidants you maxed out by that point … which, while nice, is not really that important cause I doubt any of them actually understood what was going on or why it was even happening, unlike your party members. I do remember them saying something but the dialogue doesn’t seem as memorable, you know? Most of the fandom remembers that moment for something else, as we all know XD
But yeah, it just is what it is. Hope P6 will be more consistent (without having to wait on the updated version 2-3 years down the line that it’s more than likely to get if Atlus keeps the same pattern they had for the past few years, but I digress)
On that note, P1 and P2 also had bonds be important, just in a way that it worked with the plot of the games rather than… around it, I guess? P3 kinda did that with the Ultimate Persona and such before they made them Social Link-only with P4 and onward, sadly :/
