A thought I had about the Killing Eve fandom and this whole "Everybody Wants to Be a Villanelle but Nobody Wants To Be an Eve" thing. It's a false dichotomy. Most of us aren't that sexy, stylish, witty, confident, or have that kind of swag.
Most of us want to be Villanelles but we start off as or end up as Eves. There are far more Eves and far fewer Villanelles. But it's nice to want, isn't it?
