THOUGHTS ON 376 TIME! WOOHOO!!
Tumblr media
Three thoughts came into my mind on this page.
One, that “we still haven’t had our chat about romance” is a thought in ochako’s head, not just a distraction. (Very interesting..) But I may just be reading the bubbles incorrectly, as I’m aware that last chapter she said this to Ochako. Could it be Toga remembering it? Another possibility too.
Two, that Toga believes this is Ochako trying to TAKE BACK her rejection in some light. To my knowledge, (and if the translators didn’t mess anything up too badly, sorry y’all I’m aware it won’t be perfect no matter what) “taking a hint” is often used in English to describe someone not backing off romantically. The hint being, “I don’t have feelings for you”. (Edit: this post translated it in its most literal form, and it said “persistent” so, I still stand by what I said. It’s sounds like someone rejecting a romantic confession)
And number three, the most important. “Can’t take a hint” is the most tongue and cheek thing I’ve seen. IT SOUNDS LIKE IN MY VERY BIASED SHIPPER MIND THAT, THE AUDIENCE, AKA US, HAVENT GOTTEN THE HINT WITH THESE TWO.
I saw literal radio silence when chapter 375 came out. Now, I’m aware that togachako is a bit of a rare pair. Not only is it a sapphic ship, but it’s also with a more “problematic” dynamic, and with a character that was introduced later on into the series. Wayyyy after ochako was introduced as Izuku’s love interest.
Most bkdk shippers either outright ignore ochako, hate her, or ship her with Tsu. I only judge one option out of the three, as it’s usually born out of misogyny. (Purposefully or not, I’ve seen people love male characters with the same “annoying” traits ochako has. Tbh, most people hate her bc she’s a girl and she’s feminine. That’s it)
Anyway yeah, and the only people who really care about her character development are one: Ochako stans (love y’all <3) two: togachako shippers (me) and three: izu//ocha shippers. (Censored so that I don’t tread on their territory as I’m about to be a little…. Eh to them and their interpretations)
Now, izu//ocha shippers to me are pretty neutral. There’s the dudebros who I think everyone hates, and then there’s the normal batch of people. A mix of people who enjoy the series very casually, or people who just generally like them.
Because of this fact, however, they are, like me, also biased. Meaning if I presented my thoughts on togachako to an izu//ocha shipper, I will and have been called a little bit of a conspiracy theorist about it. That I’m in denial, yada yada. All that junk. And if I’m wrong? Then shit, guess it’s me getting kicked in my ass all over again for trusting a shonen writer. I have fandom to help me cope. I’ll live.
Now, because of this bias, it leaves the interpretations of chapters 289, 342, 348, and even 375 all deemed as “izu//ocha chapters”, because what else could it be leading up to other than that?
And that’s why I HOPE and I PRAY that Horikoshi pulls the rug out from under your feet. I hope and pray every day that’s what happens. If only to confirm in my mind that my eye for detail isn’t sketchy or rough around the edges. Or that my conclusions aren’t just delusions. I don’t like to be wrong, thank you very much.
The other thing I wanted to delve a little into. Toga’s mind is a labyrinth that I don’t think even us as the audience has quite cracked yet.
Tumblr media
I like to think I understand people. Not in the casual social way, god no. Social cues are not my thing. But reading people? Getting to the bottom of their issues and wrenching them from their depths and into the open for someone to see? THATS what I’m good at. Understanding a person and how they work. Because, let me tell you, there is a reason for each and every thing a person does. Every little detail, from the way they stand to how they choose their words. How someone reacts defensively and offensively are the biggest giveaways to who a person actually is.
Toga Himiko’s walls are miles thick. They appear sheen, like she wears her emotions on her sleeve, but that’s just not TRUE. Before she broke, it was forced neutrality to the wrongdoings in her life. Possibly even any form of happiness wasn’t deemed respectable to wear. The mask was on at all times, no matter what, but now? Now it’s a smile. The mask is still there, it still exists. It’s just in a different form, something made to protect HER rather than EVERYONE else. It’s interesting.
Another notable thing about Toga, she’s cried once, in the entire manga. She has cried once.
And it wasn’t even for Twice’s death.
If toga were to cry at Twice’s death, if toga were to express any other vulnerability other than anger at his death, then she would be left with two things: the mask, shattered; the one that mattered. And two, she would have to accept that everyone was right about her. That she was a tragedy.
And not only was she a tragedy, but she had to accept that death affected her. That the love she “experienced” for people like Izuku or Sato, wasn’t love. Because she loved twice, yet never wanted to BECOME him.
And I can hear it now, “doesn’t she want to be ochako too?” No, actually. She wants to be like her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And, if you ship bkdk, you probably follow some other analysis creators on here. People who have talked about Izuku wanting to become LIKE Katsuki, not become him.
And that begs the question, does ochako want to become deku? Or become like him?
I think it’s both.
The thing is, Ochako ofc can’t physically become him, but at every turn of trying to be like him, it hasn’t really let her evolve. It’s held her back, actually, like at the sports festival. Ntm, this requires some level of natural imitation, something Ochako clearly lacks in her relationship to Izuku.
But she does not lack with Toga.
Idk if I showed it here before, and if I didn’t, I apologize for not explaining completely at least. Essentially, Ochako naturally imitates how Toga looks in both her hairdo and some choice facial expressions. Toga naturally imitates through posing techniques mid air and behavior parallels. I don’t feel like grabbing the panels, sorry!!
But back to Himiko, I think that she desperately wants close connection, is extremely insecure about herself, and actively hides behind smiles. Not only that, but she’s been trying to imitate shigaraki this entire time by having his “I don’t care about love and I wanna destroy the world” attitude and disdain. Showing she’s trying to find the most powerful people in her mind right now to hide from herself, her own sadness. She wants to hide from her rejection, and views the rejection itself as her. She knows that people see something especially unnerving and wrong about her, yet doesn’t completely understand why. So this rejection sensitivity is not only heightened by her trauma, but also Twice’s death.
With him gone, she now becomes unnervingly aware that she does not like death the way she thought she did. She also can’t escape the reality that no one has ever truly cared about Toga Himiko as a person.
And in her mind, following Jin’s death, no one ever will.
Tumblr media
One last note, these two panels felt like parallels to me. Might be a stretch.

Bkdk Plot bunnies pt 2
Class 2-A is doing a training exercise with some of the other school branches as volunteers
They are practicing dealing with hostage situations and the like, the other students being the hostages
In the middle of the exercise, one of the safety cords snapped and one of the girls from the general course is falling off a building
Katsuki obviously jumps to her and saves her
When they are on the ground the girl immediately starts to apologize
“Why are you apologizing it’s not your fault the fucking cord snapped” Katsuki says just as the rest of 2-A and Aizawa got there
The girl shakes her head. “It’s not that!” She says still apologetic. “I accidentally activated my quirk, I’m sure I used it on you! I’m sorry!”
They all freeze and suddenly Katsuki collapses, but thankfully Izuku caught him before he hit the ground.
“What is your quirk?!” Aizawa asks already tired from the whole ordeal
“I-it’s nothing too dangerous so don’t worry.” She said before explaining. “My quirk’s name is mirror image, it clones but makes them the opposite to the person that is affected.”
Just as she explained beside Katsuki a light is emitted as a clone materialized, although as unconscious as the original Katsuki
“As long as I use my quirk on him again at the end of the week he’ll be back to normal.”
“Will he be ok?”
“Yes, although the clone uses Bakugou’s energy so he can’t work himself too much,” She says. “Again I’m really sorry.”
“No you were helping us and accidentally used your quirk, it happens, which is why we don’t let students who have very dangerous quirks to volunteer as this happening is always a possibility.” Aizawa explained.
They get Katsuki and the clone to Recovery Girl's office where both wake up
“…What the fuck happened?” Bakugou slowly recovered consciousness
“Bakugou, you were accidentally hit with a cloning quirk.” Aizawa said as both blondes looked at each other.
“So this is my clone?” Katsuki asked.
“Not exactly.” The clone smiled. “My personality is exactly the opposite of yours, but I have most of your memories.”
“Everything will go back to normal by the end of the week.” The teacher explained.
Both Katsuki and his clone go back to class
His classmates are making a ruckus ofc
“Um…hi?” Copy Katsuki says politely as everyone turns to him.
“Holy shit you really are the opposite of Bakugou!” Denki says inspecting him. “We should call you Bakuclone!”
“Bakubro, Bakuhoe, Baku-whatever the fuck! Why are you always putting weird shit at the end of my name?!” Katsuki complains, but the damage is done
Everyone starts to crowd the clone as seeing Bakugou being nice was a very odd occurrence
Bakuclone is getting along swimmingly with the 2-A members and he laughs and smiles at them all the time
The girl who used her quirk on Bakugou becomes friends with Ashido in part to help if there’s any problem with Katsuki and the clone
Bakuclone wants to be friends with Katsuki but is rudely rejected
“Haaah? Why would I, you’ll barely be here a week” Bakugou says
“Oh, haha guess you are right, but I wanted to live my short life to the fullest…” Bakuclone says with a sad smile
“Dudeee not manly, why would you say that to him?” Kirishima said disapproving
“Yeah, would it kill you to be nice for a week!” Mina tut
Since they are at the food court Monoma jumps to make fun of him “Awww maybe boom boy here is jealous that his friends will replace him with the more likable version of himself, I know I would.” He laughs
“Shut the fuck up, this knock off copy could never be better than me!”
Monoma scoffs and goes back to his table
“I-I’m sorry Monoma-san said what he said but could you please not call me a knock off?” Bakuclone said with a sad face
Bakugou rolls his eyes. “Whatever…” For some reason he doesn’t like the clone
As the week passes and Bakugou is his usual mean self but people start accusing him of being jealous bc the clone is sad every time bk is mean
Meanwhile Deku for his part doesn’t really like the clone either for some reason so he starts paying the clone more attention
Izuku quickly notices that every time Katsuki is being his usual mean self, the clone victimizes himself and makes it look like it was directed at him
He also notices the clone seems to have opposite likes too ie. doesn’t like hot sauce, dislikes fighting, etc.
The clone catches on that Deku is suspicious of him, so he corners Deku one day after school
“Um…hi Midoriya-san.” Bakuclone says shyly. “As you know I have all of Bakugou’s memories and I know this is weird but I wanted to apologize for everything I did, or I guess we (Baku and the clone) did.”
Deku is confused as this had come out of the blue, but responds it’s not the clone's fault and when the clone insists by underhandedly insulting Kacchan Deku tries to end the convo
“Wait! Sorry, I’m just nervous so I said that.” Clone says.
Then he confesses that he loves Deku, bc the real Katsuki hates him
The clone tries to be super flirty with Deku  but Izuku panics and runs away
But the suspicion Izuku had about the clone clears up a little since the clone loving him and Kacchan hating him made sense to him
Then Monoma says some nasty shit again at which bk is mad at
Bk is tired of this shit so he goes take a walk or something
Someone then pushes Monoma down the stairs, Monoma is unconscious but his clothes are singed and smell of nitroglycerin
Everyone blames bk who obviously says he didn’t do it but no one entertains the idea the clone could have been
Deku tries to defend bk saying he had followed him until a certain point at the other side of the school so bk wouldn’t have the time to push Monoma
But it is a weak argument so no one believes it but at the same time there’s no concrete evidence
Katsuki and the clone are put in a room apart from everyone else until the issue is resolved
By now the week is almost over so Deku decides to go talk to the girl whose quirk hit Kacchan
While talking with her Izuku mentions the clone confessed his feelings for him saying that since Katsuki hates Deku the clone loves him
The girl says that’s not how it works the quirk only flips personality, not likes, dislikes, or abilities
“What about moral compass? Does that change?”
“Morality is kind of a spectrum, most people are in the middle so when it flips it more or less stays the same, since Bakugou-San is the way he is I thought there wouldn’t be a problem.”
“What do you mean the way he is?” Deku asks not liking where everything is going.
“Well everyone says he is a villain, or at least like a villain so there’s nothing to worry about, no?” The girl explained.
“You know nothing about him! He is a great person and hero, he is honest, righteous, courageous, and yes he might be rude but he is caring in his own way.” Izuku cried. “Can you imagine what the opposite of that is? A manipulative piece of shit that pushed Monoma down a flight of stairs and is trying to frame Kacchan!"
They both run to the teachers but they are too late
“Aizawa-sensei!” Deku cried as he spotted his teacher. “The clone is evil, h-“
“Bakugou and the clone are gone, they have disappeared and we don’t where they are at the moment.”
“No! If we don’t find them the clone won’t disappear, he is the one that pushed Monoma!”
“We know, Monoma woke up a few minutes ago and said he could recognize who pushed him was not the real Bakugou because the one that pushed him had the school tie on.”
They go out to look for them and when they finally found them they are fighting.
(Cant post it all bc theres a word limit but here are the other parts)

bkdk mafia(?) a/b/o au
"Mr. Bakugou Katsuki," the old bat huffs in front of him, crossing her hands and setting her ugly mug atop them. "Were you or were you not told you were not to pursue Midoriya Izuku?" She sneers at him, but Katsuki stays stone-faced and bleak, knowing his parents and Izuku were watching him. "I was told not to," Katsuki speaks, shifting back in his seat, showing how little he cared for this 'meeting'.
"And what did you do?" She hisses, curling her fingers in blatant and unhidden ire at him, narrowing wrinkly eyes. "I perused and mated him, got him pregnant as well," Katsuki snorts, finding amusement at how much distress that statement brought her.
It was fucking amazing.
"And all without permission...!" Her voice picks up in a scream that startles Izuku, causing him to flinch back out of the corner of Katsuki's eye when the head of the Bakugou clan slams her hands down on the desk. "You insolent brat! I cannot believe we allowed you to be this fucking reckless!" She screeches, nails digging into the wood. "Tarnishing the Bakugou name! How could you?!" She snarls, and Katsuki raises an eyebrow, standing up slowly and sizing up the short hag.
Katsuki looms over the entirety of the room like a shadow crawling up the wall, suit tucked and crisp as he pulls the edges to flatten it out. "And what would you have done to try and stop me?" He rumbles, steady and smooth as he watches the woman shrink back slightly. "Would you have locked me away? Done something to Izuku? To what, keep this muddled blood precious and pure?" Katsuki snarls, hands smoothing over the cold mahogany wood of the desk, staring into the ugly hag's narrowed brown eyes. "I know what you did all those years, Grandma. I know your deepest secrets, I know everything," Katsuki grins, watching fear spark momentarily in her eyes before she clears her throat.
"You are to never step foot on this or any other Bakugou property as long as that muddled baby still lives and the green-haired freak Omega breathes, Katsuki. I cannot tell where we went wrong with you, and it saddens me," She puffs out, wiping down her dress. "Nothing went wrong, bitch, I simply broke from the disgusting mold that I had been put in and found some sense of humanity," Katsuki grumbles and turns, raising himself to his full height once more to walk to Izuku, who sits huddled in a corner, looking sheepish and scared.
"Come on," Katsuki soothes, pulling Deku out of the chair and close to his body, rubbing a soothing hand up and down the small of his Omega's back. "Let's go get lunch, hm?" Katsuki whispers, ignoring the family he used to have staring at him as he comforts his shaking mate.
"O-Okay," Deku whispers, clinging close to him as he walks them out of the office, ignoring the hushed snarls coming from his grandmother.
Well, ex-grandmother.
Fuck that wrinkly hag.
-
"Katsuki," His mother hisses through the phone, hushed and voice wavering. Katsuki raises an eyebrow at the tone as he momentarily stops his slow weave through Deku's hair but restarts with Deku's little whine and poke to his side. "What?" He gripes, staring down at his husband who lies between his legs, covered in a warm blanket. "Your grandmother is in jail," Katsuki processes the statement for a moment before barking a laugh. "And? Why should I care about this?" Katsuki sneers, tugging on Deku's cheek gently to feel the soft squish between his hands before cupping his mate's face for comfort.
"Because she's your grandmother, that's why!" His mom snarls, clearly irritated by Katsuki's lack of worry. "Wasn't she the one who denounced me in front of our entire clan as a Bakugou? I care more about the shit on the heel of my shoe than her," Katsuki huffs, rolling his eyes at the cut-off growl coming through the phone. "Whaddya want me to do? Bail the bitch out of jail? The money I'd use for her is going to mine and Izuku's future child's room, thank you. Let her rot in the place she deserves to be," Katsuki quips and quickly ends the call, pulling the phone away from his ear when his mother's irate scream comes through before it cuts.
"I thought they'd take longer," Izuku purrs gently, lounging on the bottom of his stomach, head resting in his arms. His eyes lay shut and paint a pretty portrait of calmness. Katsuki hums, resting his head on the headboard idly, watching the TV without truly watching it. "Mm... I guess all the shit you dug up on her was enough to put the cops into action," Katsuki chuckles mindlessly, pulling his mate up and curling to the side to hold him close.
"I wonder how she feels that her assets will skip your parents and fall right into your hands due to them helping in some of the crimes... Not enough to be thrown in jail, but juuust enough to make sure the assets are all yours," Izuku giggles, purring into his cheek as Katsuki grins. "I think she'd be abso-fucking-lutely livid. Maybe we should use some of the money she'll give us to get top-tier things for our little star," Katsuki purrs, reaching down to gently cup Deku's soft, still-small baby bump. "The best of the best," Katsuki peppers kisses all over Deku's face, holding his mate close.
Truly the best of the best.

bkdk au where katsuki started his interest in cooking bc izuku cant taste shit so everything taste similar and bland to him so katsuki driven by the desire to have izuku eat his food and say it's delicious and MEAN it becomes obsessed with providing izuku the best food possible.
his obsession eventually lead to him becoming a master chef and earning a michelin-star bc he pours his heart and soul in creating the best dish possible and everyone thinks it's his passion and dream but really he's just want to make very, very good food for izuku to eat. izuku is his harshest critics not bc he knows anything about food or is strict about what he eat but bc he cant TASTE and he's kind so he'll lie and say everything is good, but katsuki can read him like an open book so he knows right away if izuku doesnt like it. so being able to cook izuku the most delicious meal and for izuku to smile and sincerely say it's good with all his heart is katsuki's raison d'être. this is how katsuki says i love you, how he expresses his feeling by feeding izuku with what he painstaking created by hand.
for izuku, food is just sustenance. he doesn't like it but his body need to it live so he has to eat it and food is such a culturally symbolic thing in many cultures and society it's hard for izuku to connect with others bc he cant taste it like everyone else; he feels isolated. so izuku since young learns to fake it bc as long as he put on a smile and says it's delicious nobody would ever expect there's something wrong with him... but that annoys KATSUKI SO MUCH because he hates it when izuku lie like that, he wants izuku to mean those words for once.
he was so intensely on perfecting his cooking to get a reaction of out of izuku that he ends up becoming a chef by accident LOL. so while most chefs' life goal is to earn a michelin star, katsuki's mount everest is to have izuku tell him with a smile "this is delicious, kacchan!" this somehow becomes a lifelong goal of feeding and making izuku happy with his food because slowly but surely he realizes to be able provide good food to the ppl we love and to have them eat it and say wholehearted that it's good is the most humbling feeling in the world.

𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐛𝐤𝐝𝐤 𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐬
soooo these are all like 100k+ words, slow burn af, good sexual tension, in character characters, classic “they’re both bamfs and it annoys the shit out of each other” bkdk dynamic, juicy banter/flirting, smut
ALL TOP BAKU (or switch)
Basically I mean to say, I am a fussy as bitch and fanfictions are no exception
(p.s. these are in order, fav at the top etc.)
Quiet Rapture by lalazee
A/B/O - Pro hero baku, Quirkless deku - Strangers to lovers - Explicit
That A/B/O fic where cocky Alpha Bakugou falls in mate-love at first scent, while Midoriya is just a poor bookstore-owning Omega who got his nose punched in is a kid and can't smell a damn thing. Also known as: That time an Alpha had to use his actual personality to woo his mate instead of relying on his scent.
Okay so for anyone who doesn’t know, lalazee is my god and I’ve read all her bibles. Amen, bitch.
I was hesitant to read this as it was my first a/b/o, but once you get into it, you get IN TO IT. My favourite fic of all time, she has brilliantly portrayed bkdks dynamic and their characters. Theres still a good plot, while still having the fic being focused on bkdks relationship. Sounds impossible? Well good luck telling that to lalazee. SUCH good banter holy fuck. Entire fic had me (s)creaming with how much sexual tension there was. Just perfect *chefs kiss*.
Blood Moon by lalazee
Canonverse - Pining baku, Also pining deku - FWB to lovers - Explicit
The Thank-Fuck-We-Aren’t-Dead Sex had started then, and had never really stopped. Then came the feelings and the fights. The ego, the pride, the jealousy. And then there was Us.
(The one-shot smut fic that turned into an entire world for you.)
Another one by lalazee, who’s surprised? Anyways, this was my first proper fic I ever read and I was hooked. Again, really good banter, tons of angst and hero shit. Smut is also really good, both of them are complete bamfs who are secretly broken.
Fire Lily by EtherealBeing
Heaven & Hell AU - Demon baku, Angel deku - Enemies to lovers - Explicit
There he was: sitting splay-legged on the altar, one muddy combat boot propped up on the edge, with a self-satisfied grin on his face and a relaxed aura, in spite of the war raging outside.
Izuku wasn’t sure what he’d expected to see his first day evacuating humans from the Rapture zone, but it sure as hell wasn’t a Demon with the same goal.
A story about falling, in more ways than one.
Just really good okay? I’m tired and I need to do some assignments
From The Sidelines by suffocatingspring
High School AU - Jock baku, Nerd deku - Enemies to lovers - Explicit
When long-time enemies, Bakugo Katsuki--the all-star athlete and rascal of Ise--and Izuku Midoriya, the town sweetheart, are paired together for a long-term project, the quiet beachside town of Ise suddenly gets a bit louder.
In which, Katsuki is an asshole pole vaulter, Izuku is going to fail psychology, and both are about to have the most intense spring semester yet.
The bakuhoe fucks virgin izuku I was waiting my entire life for holy fuck. Anyways, this has super 80s retro vibes and bkdk go on a bunch of adventures together. It’s really good and you should really read it!
Battle of the Bands by roadtripwithlucifer
Boy Band AU - Punky baku, Gay disaster deku - Enemies to lovers - Mature
'The rules are simple. Battle of the Bands. Local bands send in a single track to the radio station, and ten tracks are selected. Over the coming month, the songs play on the station and listeners vote on the top five. The top 5 play a live concert as part of a music festival, then the top 3 at a larger, indoor venue. The top two have the honor of opening on the first stop of All Might’s retirement tour – here. In Izuku’s home town. And finally, the winner gets the ultimate prize. Getting to spend the rest of the tour, forty cities, across the country as All Might’s opener. Three months. Same tour bus. Shoulder to shoulder with the greatest musicians the world has ever known.'
Izuku Midoriya is a broke college student presented with the opportunity of a lifetime. But winning isn't gonna be easy, especially when one band's aggressive blonde frontman seems to be dead-set on making Izuku's life a living hell.
So I’m not actually usually into the whole “Band AU” thing. I think its cause I had a traumatic experience with a really bad fanfic that put me off it. Anyways, they’re both absolutely whipped for each other and again really good banter and “i’m never going to let you win but I’ll let you fuck me upside-down” sorta relationship dynamic and I LOVE IT. Also do NOT be fooled by the mature rating instead of explicit, there’s still enough smut in this to make it worth the wait.

Fix your goddamn tie!
1.2k • gen • bkdk
Katsuki glared down at the lumpy knot that sat just below Izuku’s adam’s apple. He was used to the unsightly thing by now, after seeing that mess day in and day out through all their years at UA. But this was different.
They were going to be pros— not later on, not someday soon. Tomorrow.
Today was their graduation day. And by some fucking miracle, they’d both lived to actually see the day. And yet…
“How on Earth have you still not learned how to tie your damn tie, Deku?”
The nerd flushed red like a tomato. So damn easy to fluster him, even now. Katsuki snorted under his breath, ignoring the way his ribs felt tighter when Izuku fucking Midoriya looked up at him with wide, earnest eyes.
“I dunno.” Izuku’s fingers strayed to the awkward knot, belying the anxious feeling he tried to disguise with a shrug. “It’s not really that bad, is it?”
Katsuki wasn’t going to dignify that with a response.
It was that bad, and it wasn't. He looked ridiculous, and that, too, was a lot more endearing than it should be.
“I kinda wish we could just wear our hero costumes for graduation,” Izuku grumbled. “That’d be great for the press! What does a hero need to wear a tie for, anyway?”
“Planning to wear that green bunny suit to your own wedding, shitty nerd?”
“WHAT?!”
“Tch, don’t answer that. You would.”
“Kacchan, who said anything about w-weddings? That’s… not…”
Not what?
“Oi, just face it. A man’s gotta wear a tie sometimes.”
Izuku reached for his collar. He turned it up and loosened the mangled knot to start over again. But what difference would that make? As if having the same thought, he hesitated, looking at Katsuki’s tidy knot of red silk with a pout.
“How’d you learn to get yours so neat? You don’t even wear yours most of the time.”
“I wear it when it’s important.” He frowned. “My old man showed me.”
“Oh. Yeah.”
And Izuku hadn’t heard from his dad since he was in diapers. Shit.
His expression said it didn’t matter. That it hadn’t hurt in so long that he forgot sometimes, too. Izuku's first necktie was probably the one packed with his UA uniform their freshman year.
Probably taught himself in the bathroom mirror. Maybe his mom had tried to help him that first time, no more sure about it than he was.
Explained a lot, really.
Hell, he could’ve gone to All Might for pointers by now. They were still thick as thieves. But that must not have happened because if it had then Izuku would have learned that shit— soaked it up like a sponge. Would've penciled it into one of his damn notebooks like a pearl of priceless wisdom.
He'd tie his tie like his life depended on it, if All Might taught him how.
Katsuki watched as Izuku held out the two ends, looking wary. The lengths were wrong. He moved to cross them and his hands were wrong. The unhappy little crease at the corner of his mouth was wrong.
He didn’t mean to do anything about it. His hands covering Izuku’s surprised them both, but he’d started this now so he was going to fucking finish it.
Katsuki tugged until the wide end was long enough for the starting position. Izuku’s eyes went wide and his hands fell slack to his sides.
“Oi! No free rides. Left hand here, pinch that.”
“Pinch?”
“Thumb and forefinger. Right. Now tuck this end—”
“I know this part,” Izuku groaned.
“Then how’s it always look like you tied it with your feet, hm?” Katsuki leveled him with a look. Standing this close, he could see all the different shades of green in Izuku’s eyes, how they caught the light. Pretty. “Keep this wrapped tight. Now pinch here—”
“Pinch,” Izuku parroted back.
“Is there a damn echo in here?” But Katsuki’s cheeks were a little warm, feeling Izuku’s fingers brush against his. “Alright, genius, what’s the next step?”
“Up through the top and down into the loop?”
“Is that an answer or a fucking question?”
“Both?”
Katsuki snorted. You’re hopeless, he thought, but he didn’t actually say it… because he didn’t really mean it. And the things he did mean? Better keep his mouth shut instead.
“Hold the wrap like this. Keep it steady, yeah like that. Now tuck in and pull through.”
“Oh.”
“Looks better, don’t it?” He bared his teeth. Call it a grin, or a challenge. Yeah, it looked way fucking better. Izuku looked like a grown-ass man for once in his life.
He didn’t say that, either, because that would also be a lie. The nerd had lost the baby fat in his cheeks— most of it, anyway. His jawline was practically chiseled at this point. Izuku grew up lean, broad, and not so tall but built like a tank.
He looked like a man and Katsuki had to question why he was looking.
“It’s so much better, Kacchan,” Izuku breathed, swallowing dry as Katsuki moved his scarred right hand where we wanted it, nudging his fingers to pinch the bottom of the knot. He nodded for Izuku to pull.
His heart pulled with it.
“There.”
“Thank you.” Izuku looked up, his smile soft, honest. “What would I do without you?”
“What kind of question is that?” Without him? That wasn’t gonna happen. To hell with that.
“Hm.”
Katsuki could step back now. He could let the nerd deal with the rest. There was nothing forcing him to adjust the knot against Izuku’s throat or fold his collar back down for him, exposing the lightly freckled skin down the side of his neck. He did it anyway and Izuku stood quietly, thoughtfully, and let him.
Katsuki didn’t half-ass shit, alright?
“We should probably get going,” Izuku said. His cheeks were slightly pink. “Don’t want to be late.”
Katsuki’s heart flapped like a little bird.
“What is it, Kacchan?”
He wasn’t sure what it was. Just that the stray curl hanging in Izuku’s eyes called out for Katsuki to touch it. Just that his eyelashes looked soft, and Katsuki hadn’t had a more empty-headed thought in his whole fucking life. What's gotten into him?
“You look sharp, nerd.”
“Really?”
Katsuki watched his mouth a little too long, absorbed by the way his lips parted slightly in surprise.
“Yeah.” He could say more, but every thought was far too exposing. That, and if they didn’t get moving then they’d actually be late to their own graduation ceremony.
On impulse, he reached out for Izuku’s hair, that one unruly curl, and tucked it back like a secret.
“Is my hair okay?” Izuku wrinkled his nose. “Frizzy?”
“It’s fine.”
“Then… what?”
“Later,” Katsuki said. “We got places to be, don’t we?”
“Hai,” Izuku nodded, squaring his shoulders and swinging the door open. “But Kacchan?”
“Huh?”
“You will tell me later, won’t you? Promise?”
Katsuki raised an eyebrow at him, the impertinent little shit. “Don’t tell me what to do!”
Izuku laughed.
“Fine, fine. Just tell me when you’re ready.”
Katsuki didn’t glance his way, but they fell into step with each other, side by side. It hadn’t always been this way, but he couldn’t deny it felt right.
Ready? Hardly. But they’d be heroes tomorrow. And Katsuki would finish what he’d started.
“I will.”

Some ppl are 100% certain that All Might (AM) is gonna die 😆. And while I think there is a big possibility that he could die, because I think he and AFO are gonna end each other, Hori could be setting up for plot twist where he survives. However, I think there is no way AFO is making it to Izuku. He is not his villain.
There is also this possibility that I feel conflicted about, and it is that Bakugou joining AM fight and saving him. Sure, it beats him lying dead throughout the entire fight, but Shiga is his villain just as much as he is Deku's. And maybe even more so since he kidnapped Baku, stabbed him, almost killed him during previous war arc and actually killed him this time. While you could argue that my last 3 points were done by ShigAFO, my point stands. Bakugou needs some closure with Shiga, they have history.
Anyway in terms of AM, I think there was a point where his death would have made a difference in the story and could be interesting but rn I am like meh. Not because I don't like AM, original bkdk believer I love him to death 🧡💚, but his death is not necessary at this point in the story.
I mean even Gran Torino lived and we (including me) were so certain he was gonner so🤷‍♀️. Maybe they can make AM faint after the fight and have him wake up in the hospital.
In terms of Shiga fight, I am almost certain that bkdk will fight together. The reason being the 5 min time limit that Deku has. Many argue that it has been more than 5 mins but I don't think so. Sure, for us in irl it has been months but in BNHA time, I think it is less than 5 mins.
People might say but how come we have seen Togachako and Tsuyu stuff, we have seen Kiri fight and Todo fight etc so there is no way it has not been 5 mins already. But here is my theory, the story telling is not linear. Everytime we change POV we are going back in time.
So in term of Ochako and Toga fight and her running after Toga, I think that happened right after Deku left them. So that was during the time Deku was trying to get to Shigaraki and Bakugou was still fighting Shigaraki. That fights connects to AFO fight which again imo was all happening before Bakugou died.
Then there is the Kirimina fight and then Kiri and Shinso ending on top of Giganto. That Kirimina fight happened right after they thought Todoroki "won" against Dabi which means it happened way before Bakugou died and Deku was still with Toga and Ochako. And then Kirishina and Shinso ending on top of Giganto Machia happened right after that which is again in my theory way before Bakugou died.
Then we change POV to Iitodo and started off with Dabi leaving. Which again these events that we see right now were actually happening during Shigaraki, Bakugou and others fight. This might make sense with Baku seeing AM when he died because maybe when Bakugou "died" AM's fight with AFO may have concluded which could mean that AM died during the fight. 🤔
Again I am not sure how AM fight will end all I am saying is that there is no reason to kill him at this point in the story. But I might be wrong and he could be the key to something 🤔. Maybe Deku will lose his shit again but this time Baku calming him and helping to control his heart. We'll see 👀
Anyway in conclusion I am not sure about AM's faith but I am pretty sure that AFO will never make it to Shiga fight and Bakugou will be back to fight. I am saying I am "pretty sure" but in the end I am just speculating so please don't quote me on that if it doesn't happen😭.
I also do not think that Shiga will die, however, both Bakugou and Deku will get some type of closure with him.
Then once this fight is over we will probably have a time jump where everyone is pro-hero. Some ships might be open ended but I don't think anyone will end up married.
The end.

That's what happens when ppl find an easy way to feel morally superior and have their 5 minutes of fame. I know it's cliche, but that's literally all abt it.
You find a target, and you go with it, doesn't matter if what you are doing is based on the truth or not. And other ppl see you doing that, and they go along with it, either bc they already wanted an excuse to do it, or out of ignorance and mob mentality.
This happened multiple times, in many communities already. Lives were or almost completely ruined, too.
Hate just sells more than any positive interaction, y'know?
Tumblr media
Yeah I'm more or less aware of who the people who always start shit and spread these rumours are (as the algorithm devil so loves to push it all in my face even though I'm almost always just looking at fanart (╯╬•ᴗ•)╯彡┻━┻), and I do also know how the clout game works and that for whatever reason bnha has become a punching bag so it's Cool and Funny to hate on it and anything pertaining to it etc etc but. What mostly frustrates me I guess is the number of people who believe these things despite the fact that no one has ever provided any proof of bkdks threatening Horikoshi even when asked (because there literally isn't lmao), and how pervasive this kind of mob mentality has gotten. Nowadays you really can't look at anything without coming across some kind of hate comment, and while they don't have any bearing on what I like it's just really tiring and annoying. And then there's how many of them use the excuse of bkdk being an "abusive ship" (LMAO) to be sooo bigoted and vitriolic without even having the face of at least owning it... I don't know how many comments I've seen saying shit like "this isn't about ships we just care about the author's safety for when he'll make izu//ocha canon instead of bkdk" only to follow up with "but it's always the queers pulling these things and wanting the characters to be faggots". Like at least be upfront about it right away, don't pretend that this isn't about you being angry that someone would dare headcanon some fictional characters as gay or that you give a damn about Horikoshi when it was you and your friends who sent him messages telling him to die for making a manga with a positive outlook where the ultimate message is that people always need to help each other and not some gritty and edgy thing where people die left and right!!!!!

thinking of becoming the statistic the h8rs warn everyone about for my 30th this summer & just leaning fully into bkdk \m/ \m/ yolo
🤣 I’m probably going to give you a more serious answer than you wanted. So I’ll just start off by saying DO. IT. We are too old to be told what to do in our personal time 🤣 and to not do the things that makes us happy. If you worry about being ‘seen’ just make a separate account and log in and out of it as you please and indulge in what you like.
A statistic? Eh who gives a shit besides people who can’t just allow others to enjoy themselves with what makes them happy. Shipping fictional characters isn’t hurting anyone. Literally. They aren’t real.
We never know what’s going on behind the scenes of someone’s life. I learned to stop giving a shit about “avoiding” something like shipping characters when I realized how much being a fandom, especially the part I want to be in, seriously helped me out as a person.
I get why people hate bkdk I really do. I have my own reasons as to why I ship it and prefer it and we don’t have to validate ourself to people who can’t just appreciate other people doing something that makes them happy. Simple as that.
I’ve had to hide myself my entire life thanks to my family. I literally am a damn robot. Don’t smile or show emotions whatsoever and somewhere along the way the person I was supposed to be is long gone.
On top of that due to a very abusive relationship that cost me my friends and the family I still live with I spent a long time fully alone. One day I decided to make a bum profile for a fandom and found something that brought color back to my world. I will NOT allow anyone to take that away from me. My personal space is MINE.
I will ALWAYS encourage people to indulge in their interests in regards to fandom. It’s MEANT to be fun. The characters and stories aren’t real and its okay to enjoy them as you see fit. What you indulge in, in regards to fandom, doesn’t sum you up as a person. The shit just tickles your happy bone is all.
While every fandom/ship has their bad apples you don’t have to interact with those people. And can find people who are kind.
Shippers will accept you. There are so many people on this side of the fandom waiting for more people to come in and just be here with us.
While I don’t know you reasons for holding back, don’t. Don’t let anyone tell you what’s right or proper to do in your personal space. Don’t let anyone make you feel like shit for finding joy in something. There are people who are just like you and ready to accept you and get silly and talk about fun stuff with you.
So DO IT. Get in here with the rest of us. Like I said if you aren’t comfortable with your main use a side email and make a new profile and just enjoy yourself. You don’t owe anyone anything and you don’t have to explain yourself.
Come see all the art and fics people have made. Allow yourself to find one more thing that add some extra color to your life.
Haters don’t know me. They don’t know my life. They can go worry about themselves. I’m here for ME.
So you be there for you. Don’t hold back on account of what haters say. Fuck em. You come first to you always. You matter.

OH I WANNA RAREPAIR! heres one I think about Iida × Bakugo LISTEN
Imagine bakugo sits on the desk and any other annoying thing because hes trying to get iidas attention Bakugo is not verbal when he flirts normally he says whatever he wants but he is very shy when it comes to these kinds of things at first. So he just keeps doing these little things to tic him off everyday at school until iida finally confronts somehow it turns into something where this line can be used by Bakugo "You wanna kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid" and then they actually do kiss.
My second and most preferred way is that when Bakugo and Iida kiss it's in the classroom after everyone has left already and they start talking about something doesnt matter just something that leads the conversation to Bakugo going "just do it then." And they are so close Iida leans down a little and kisses Bakugo who kisses back and when they pull apart they just stare at eachother like, did that just really happen? Did we kiss? And the first thing Bakugo says is "you better not ever tell Deku about this" and Bakugo goes home that day so stricken with confusion that he actually may really like Iida
Down the road of their friendship developing he preferable calls him glasses over four eyes cause it's a little nicer and one day they actually talk it out and start dating and only the bakusquad know and maybe Tsu and Uraraka but not Deku and Uraraka keeps trying to make mention to Iida to tell Deku and he doesnt know how to tell him so hes been putting it off.
The reason he doesnt wanna tell Deku is because everyone and their grandma knows Deku has a little crush on Bakugo and Bakugo just fell out of it couldn't mutually feel those feelings for him MEANWHILE deku fully just knows about Iida and Bakugo cause he knows everything about Bakugo there ain't nothing he can hide Deku doesnt see HE SEES HOW THEY STARE AT EACHOTHER BEFORE CLASS.
One day he accidentally catches them kissing outside the classroom and Iida's talking real fast like. "MIDORIYA I CAN EXPLAIN we were going to tell you it just-" he stops him with his hand and just goes. "I know already I have known for a while now its okay"
I can go on but this ask is long enough.
okay, first of all, I am on my knees to apologize for not responding to the asks sooner, just life is crazy and I'm in another country so I hardly have time to sit and read! but I'm here now please don't hate me <3
now second of all, I have never thought about this pairing before, I'm usually a hardcore bkdk with occasionally tdbk or krbk but the way u worded it makes me fall for them a bit!!!
no matter how wrong people say this is (and they might be right) but bakugo flirts with insults and being a little shit it's just who he is sawrri, so I can definitely see him not knowing how to properly convey his interest and just resulting to annoying iida and insults here and there, nothing too much cause he's not fucking stupid !!
the kiss scene.. I'm all behind u on that, def like a "just do it then" kiss, as a izuku stan I'm so happy you included him somehow in the narrative cause yeah no matter what they gonna be in each other's lives, and I think he would be the first one to admit defeat because he would be the first to realize bakugo had a new crush (even before the man himself!)
he wouldn't actively push them to each other but I think he would back off a little and just let life run its course and when it happens he would assure bkg a lot (and cry himself to sleep after).
but anyways, I can see the appeal of this pair, it's interesting to see how many different combinations exist in the fandom, send me more yall!!

Whumptober No. 19: “I’m not as stupid as you think I am.”
Bakugou and Deku, dialogue only! Because I'm liking these little dialogue-drabbles and I'm writing these for me <3 Could be read as platonic bkdk or not, but I'm always leaning towards not with these two ;) Tagging for Whumptober: @atereal @oneinist
~
“When did I ever say that?”
“You were looking at me!”
“Deku. I look at you a lot. We’re literally partners.”
“You know what I mean.”
“I really don’t.”
“You had that, ‘oh look, he’s got a dumb idea messing around in his head,’ look.”
“What sort of bullshit, low self-esteem garbage—y’know what, we don’t have time for this.”
“You’ve always thought my ideas were dumb!”
“Right, because that’s why I follow your lead so often, because you have stupid ideas and I live to see you fail.”
“Exactly!”
“No, you shit—what the fuck is wrong—did you hit your head?!”

Am i the only one who gets annoyed by the "i'm one of the good ones!! uwu" mentality in this fandom.
Like, i saw some bkdks that really hate being "lumped together with the bad ones" (read: people who are vocal/passionate talking abt the ship or people they consider "weird") trying to make an appeal to antis and dudebros and just. Girl no. They aren't going to stop generalizing and hating us just bc you're some special little princess.
"But this community has bad people/people i don't like in it and i don't want to be related to them"
yeah no shit. Every community has bad people in it and nobody wants to be seen as the bad guy or be the same as the person we don't like, but lemme tell you something.
It's not a you problem they are assholes to us or lump us together. They don't respect us anyway. They don't give a shit about our personal thoughts. You shouldn't be obligated to constantly explain yourself to look respectable to them. All you do with this is make us look even worse and throw each other under the bus if we don't fit that definition of "one of the good ones".
You are a shipper. They already see you as gross. They'll only stop if you stop doing what makes you "gross" in their eyes.
Srry abt that rant, but can't we just leave people the fuck alone and live.
I don’t want to vagueblog about anybody here because I don’t want to further divide the community, but I agree with this general sentiment, like, we should not pay antis any mind whatsoever, let alone try to convince them we’re better than the “others.” I get that people want to be taken seriously, but it’s never gonna be worth it. They will NEVER respect us. I don’t have much to add but yes please more of this energy.

Wedding Hells
Snapshots of Twin Stars au | future ph!bkdk | wedding fic | side seroroki and shinkami | long fic
Bkdk just wants to get married. Villians crash their wedding.
"This is Hanso Fujihiko coming to you LIVE at the televised wedding ceremony of Japan's beloved Wonder Duo, Dynamight, the Explosion Hero, and Deku, the Hero of Hope! If you haven't been living under a rock for the last five years, the Wonder Duo is the hottest celebrity couple in Japan! Winning hearts with their heroic deeds and clever marketing. They never seem to do anything apart and we are eating it up! And after many years of climbing the charts side by side, our beloved heroic pair is finally tying the knot!"
As the reporter continued his script, the wedding party was scurrying around to make sure everything was perfect. Izuku and Katsuki have been through so much, their friends and fellow pro heroes would be damned if they didn't deserve a perfect wedding day.
"Is Midoriya getting dressed still?" Todoroki asked. To anyone outside their group, Todoroki's facial expressions and tone seemed unchanging. But a trained ear, and close friends who knew him, could tell that anxiety was starting to get to him.
"Chill, Roki, baby. Everything's going according to plan. The flowers are perfect, Jirou's got the tunes, Mic sensei is gonna take care of the speeches and keep the mood hyped. And Kiri and Mina are getting the grooms all snazzy. Relax, gorgeous." Sero lazily slings his arm around Shoto's shoulders. Ever since third year, Sero and Shoto have been an item. Both of them were awkward at first, being as Shoto has never had anyone show interest in him and Sero's never dated a boy before. But they're still going strong, filling out the parts the other lacks.
Shoto gives a determined nod and tries to calm himself. "Thank you, Hanta. Everything is going to be fine." His boyfriend kisses his cheek before patting his back and going off to help Sato and Koda with the catering. He didn't cook anything but he sure can help taste it.
In Bakugou's suite, he was seconds from blasting this stupid suit and his stupid rock faced best friend off the face of this planet. "I'm not wearin' no stupid fucking cufflinks!" Kirishima was trying to wrestle them onto Bakugous sleeves without either using their quirks. Since that would ruin the suits and they don't have time to pick up another.
"Come ON, Katsuki! It's tradition! You wanna look nice for Mido right?"
"The shit nerd loves me just fine no matter what I wear!" What was supposed to be a threat turned out sounding much more endearing. It was enough to make Kirishima pause and then smile knowingly.
"Aw, Kats~ I'm gonna stop with the cufflinks but I am SO telling Mina how romantic you are~" Immediately he pulls out his phone. Katsuki rages, yelling as he tries to crush it. Making Kirishima laugh. It's a good thing his phone case is as unbreakable as he is.
Ping! Mina squeaks and giggles as she reads her messages. "Mido! Your man is being totally adorbs~ Kiri tells me he's in there angrily professing his love."
Izuku, who was previously pacing in front of a full length mirror, pauses to look at her. He flushes with a light chuckle. "As Kacchan does with everything. Aggressive but somehow also sweet." He seems to frown at a sudden thought. "Kacchan probably is going to look amazing. Stunning. As he always is. What if... What if I look boring next to him?" Maybe inviting the media to his wedding in exchange for the profits being donated to charities supporting homeless queer kids and heteromorphic rights organizations wasn't such a good idea. Yes it's to a good cause. And Izuku is so glad he made that ultimatum to the news network currently surrounding their venue. But... It's costing Izuku his sanity. And worst of all, he can't see his beloved Kacchan until the ceremony starts. He's getting nervous just being away from him.
Ever since they were children, they've been in each other's lives. Grew up in the same neighborhood, had the same classes, even when Katsuki wasn't the kindest to him, they were always within arms reach. Never had they spent a long period of time away from each other.
Until the war. Until his Kacchan was stolen from him. Until they fought death itself to keep the other alive. Now they can't stand even one day apart.
Mina rolls her eyes with an amused grin. "Mido... Honey.. you don't honestly think you're boring, do you? You've got a rockin' bod, and those cute freckles. Those doe eyes. You've really filled out since first year. You're a total babe." Izuku has changed a lot. He's only grown a couple inches since high school, but he's broad now. Slightly darker tan, thighs and an ass that could quite literally crush a man's head, and his hair is more well managed now. He keeps it short on the sides and curly on top. Katsuki has been sporting an undercut these days and he's far taller. Built like a house too. But as always, he's so gorgeous. Kacchan has always been so pretty. Even now, with his face scarred from the war. Especially now. Izuku finds his scars very sexy.
The door softly opens and Izuku's gaze snaps to it, hoping it's his Kacchan.
Uraraka shyly smiles. Like she knows exactly what he was thinking. "Sorry, Deku. It's only me."
Izuku suddenly looks embarrassed. But he opens his arms to accept her in a warm hug. "You're exactly what I need. You look beautiful, as always." The two good friends giggle and greet each other.
"Ya know, what I said in second year, about kicking his butt if he ever hurts you still stands." Ochaco pokes Izukus chest.
"I'll kick his butt myself, don't worry." Izuku gives a light chuckle. He and Ochaco dated for a short time in first year. Then they realized with a war going on and their feelings changing, that it was better for them to just be friends. Ochaco also has a close relationship with Bakugou, as they're gym buddies. So she's aware he'd never harm Izuku ever again. But still. It's her job as best friend to hand out threats.
When she really wants to rile the explosion hero up, she'd just brag about being Izukus first kiss. And his first date. Nothing gets Bakugous blood pumping and his muscles straining like furious pushups after being told his future husband kissed someone other than him.
"How are you holding up, Deku?" Ochaco asks while rubbing his arm softly.
Mina nods. "It's not too late to tell the vultures to back off."
"It's okay. I did make them a deal. And it's going to be helping a lot of people. I can deal with this one day. Because..." Izuku's voice starts to sound watery. "..b-because after today... I'm gonna be married to Kacchan." He sniffles as he chuckles. Mina comes over with a soft face cloth so his makeup doesn't run too much.
"Zuku, those better be happy tears. I didn't spend all that time curling your hair and dolling you up for you to wash it away with anything but happy tears." Mina scolded, but fondly smiles as she wipes his eyes.
"Happy tears... Very happy. I'm so blessed. All my friends, my mom, my senseis, and today I get to marry the love of my life. I'm very happy." Izuku smiles with such soft eyes.
Ping! Kirishima plops down, out of breath from his wrestling match with Bakugou, both having given up since they were evenly matched without quirks. They're both quite broad and muscular. With Katsuki being slightly shorter.
"Mina says Mido is crying about marrying the love of his life. He's just as whipped as you." Eijirou laughs. Katsuki straightens his tie in the mirror, scowling slightly.
But his voice is soft and full of affection. "Nerd always cries. But at least this time it's not for some stupid reason." Katsuki feels his own eyes sting but he shakes it off. He can't cry today. The nerd has cried enough for both of them. "Eij... I'm getting fucking married." He shakes his head like he doesn't quite believe it. After everything he's done, he doesn't think he deserves something as precious as this. Someone as amazing as Izuku. If Izuku knew he thought like this, the nerd would argue with him that he's made up for his past and that no matter what, they will always have each other.
Kirishima knows his best friend enough to know the meaning behind his words, no matter how hidden they are. He stands, going over to Katsuki and wraps him in a hug. He doesn't let Katsuki wiggle his way out of this one either. He holds him tight. "Kats.. whatever's going through your head, man.. it's just wedding jitters. Nerves. You and Mido will be great together. Ya know.. we always knew you two would be here. We figured it would take a while due to both of you being stubborn as hell. But you did it. And in only half the time we'd bet it would take."
"The fuck you mean you bet on it?!" Katsuki pushes out of Kirishimas grasp. "You bet I would lose??"
"Kats, it's not losing. We just bet it would take the two of you about five more years to figure out you were nuts for each other." The red haired hero chuckles, brushing through his long hair. He had it in a lose ponytail for the ceremony. When he was on duty, it was usually styled up in the front but kept long so it fell down his back. It gave him a lion like appearance. But the real Eijirou was anything but. He was more of a giant puppy.
Katsuki growls, baring his teeth. "Same shit! Not being with the nerd is losing." Katsuki seemed to realize that time just how sappy he sounded because his eyes widen and his cheeks turn pink. But it was too late. Kirishima laughs at him, hands over his mouth in surprise.
"You're a goner, bro! I can't wait to tell Mido!"
"Not if I kill you!" Katsuki reels one hand back as if he was going to punch Kirishima but before he can, the door opens.
"Kacchan! Wow, you look like a bonified prince!" Of course it's Dunce Face. "Woah, did I interrupt something?"
"Kats was just telling me how he can't wait to be married and how in looove he is~" Kirishima dodges a punch in the chest.
"Fuck off! I didn't say any of that shit!"
Kaminari seems to be amused by this. He was never scared of their explosive friend's outburst like the rest of the group. He goes right up to Bakugou and pats his cheek, which Bakugou angrily smacks away, snarling. "You're always so shy, Suki~. It's totally okay to show much you care once in a while. We already know you're literally willing to die for Mido. Saying you love him isn't something to be shy about." Kaminari taps Katsuki's nose with his finger.
"I ain't shy! And stop touching me! Of course I love the nerd! But it's not as mushy as Shitty Hair says. I was jus' sayin' that I can't wait for this day to be over already. All this shitty press botherin' us. Izuku-" he stops himself from finishing. It's bad enough his cronies think he's some sap. If they knew he was so aggravated because he was knew his fiance had anxiety and the media would only further freak him out, they would never let him hear the end of it. "I don't need this shit right now. The longer I'm out of the field, the less villains I can destroy."
"This guy." Kaminari gently elbows Kirishima, both looking amused. "Always thinking about work. It's your wedding day, dude. Chill. There's plenty of heroes that can pick up the slack-"
"None as good as me and Deku."
"-While you get hitched. Wait- you're including Midoriya now~. You're right, Kiri. He is whipped."
Bakugou's face burns, but he turns away so he doesn't blast his designer suit. A wedding gift from his parents. All of the parties outfits were specially designed for each person, fitting their personal style, color motifs and body type. Even Shoji and his many appendages. Which Shoji was over the moon about. He's never had someone actually care that much to design something for him.
"Enough outta you extras. Pikadork, didn't you bring that...freaky one? He's with Izuku, yeah?"
"He's not freaky. He's my date. And yes, Toshi is on his way to Mido's room. You've known Hitoshi since first year. Yet you still don't know his name?"
"I don't care enough to know any of your names." An absolute lie. Which Kaminari absolutely doesn't buy.
"There you go with that shy thing again. You know our names~."
Then Kirishima, the bastard, decides to betray Katsuki. "He called me Eij before you got here, Denks."
Chaos erupts.
"Shinsou! Deku, Shinsou's here!" Uraraka opens the door to reveal a shyly smiling indigo haired hero. Like mostly everyone else, Hitoshi has grown quite a bit. And that included height.
Izuku smiles wide, greeting his good friend with a hug. "Hitoshi! I'm so glad you could make it. I thought for sure you'd be on patrol all week."
"I requested a night off. Turns out the big wigs are willing to do anything for Japan's number one, and any friends he has." He jokes. Izuku chuckles, but then he's sporting a mischievous looking grin.
"I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Kaminari asked you to go with him." Shinsou looks away with a slight cough and Izuku knows he's won. "I think you two would be good together. He really likes you."
"He's like that with all his friends."
Mina gaffaws as she types away on her phone, checking in on the preparations. "He doesn't look at us like he does you. Denki is totally into you. Ask him on a real date already. God, this is third year Blasty and Midoriya all over again. Is it a thing with you guys that none of you realize someone is into you?"
Izuku and Shinsou both look somewhere between embarrassed and undignified. "Kacchan and I weren't that bad..." Apparently that's not the right thing to say, because the entire room erupts into snorts of laughter.
In the Bakugou suite, an alarm on Katsuki's phone goes off. Then Denki's and Eijirou's simultaneously. They all share a look of determination. The ceremony was starting.
"Go to your seats. Keep the hag out, and don't get up to any bullshit. I fucking mean it." He points to the both of them. "This day is going to go fucking perfect even if it kills me. Now get out, chucklefucks." Denki and Kirishima give mock salutes as they rush out. It seems just in time too, as they catch Mitsuki Bakugou on her way to Katsuki's room.
"Is my brat ready yet? I swear if he-"
"Mrs. Bakugou! Do you remember me? Kaminari. I'm friends with your son. Hey, why don't we catch up in the chapel, yeah?"
The two heroes lead Bakugou's mother down the hall and far away from Katsuki's room. She would only cause him more stress and no one needed a stressed out Dynamight.
With the wedding party gathering in the chapel, and everyone taking their seats, the atmosphere is starting to settle. This was finally happening. The camera crew turns to film the entrance as Yamada plays a romantic score on the piano. It seemed Mic's talents didn't just lie in electronic and hip hop beats. His husband and daughter look on proudly from their seats. Shinsou sneaks in to take his seat with his sister and guardian. When the school found out Shinsou lived in a foster home, Aizawa officially adopted him. Something about his potential and saving time. But everyone knows he loves the boy like his own son. He tries his best not to blush when Kaminari's pretty golden eyes follow him as he passes before resuming his conversation with Mrs Bakugou quietly. He's definitely gonna take Mina's advice and ask Denki out. Just not here. This was Izuku's special day.
The girls enter, glowing and beautiful, in pairs. Beautiful lace and delicate curls. Flowers of red and orange lovingly placed in their hands, vines of ivy falling from each bouquet. The two grooms favorite colors. The main flower of these bouquets were the ever beautiful and fiery Forever Susan Asiatic Lily.
Izuku once suggested red and green for their eye colors. Katsuki quickly shot it down with "I ain't having my wedding look like Christmas." So they went with their favorite colors. It ended up fitting them far more than their original choice. Which Katsuki will brag about on their honeymoon.
The next of the party to enter is the boys, Kirishima and Iida leading. Kaminari had left the Bakugous at some point and was entering with the rest of Katsuki and Izuku's friends. Each one of them had a smaller Forever Susan Asiatic Lily in their jacket pocket, along with a green handkerchief. Each man, and Jirou, because she really hated wearing dresses, sported their signature color on their tie. Otherwise, their suits were identical in color. Similar designs, though each custom fit for each hero. With Jirou's being a more feminine cut.
After the wedding party was Katsuki's entrance. And an entrance it was. Katsuki, as always, looked gorgeous. With his ash blond hair styled to the side, revealing his very rarely seen forehead. Best Jeanist would be proud, if he could have made it. A lovely watch adorns his wrist, his nails painted black. His crimson red eyes lined with eyeliner and the slightest smokey eye. His skin was perfect like his mother's so he didn't need much to enhance his natural beauty.
His suit was fitted to his body in just the right ways. It was a burnt orange three piece, though Katsuki argued with his mother about wearing the tie and vest. He ended up wearing them today. Not for his mother. But for his Izuku. Today has to be perfect. That includes enduring choking nearly to death by a stupid tie. The tie and accents of the suit were a cream color. A handkerchief in his pocket, a silver grenade shaped pin on his lapel, and a thin and tiny chain pinned from one side of his shirt collar to the other, over the tie.
He walked with his hand in his pocket, but kept his back straight, as instructed by Best Jeanist, whom he'd very embarrassingly asked for advice weeks ago. He was aware he had a problem with his posture. But he never had a reason to give a fuck. Now he does. And that reason had the most beautiful, hope filled green eyes and freckles like constellations. Fuck he loves that dorky little nerd so much.
Katsuki takes his place at the center of the alter. Kirishima pats his shoulder with an encouraging smile. He leans over to whisper. "I've never seen you look that happy. Were you thinking about Izuku~?" He learns a light elbow to the side.
He would never admit it, but he doesn't remember ever being happier than he is now. Today he was going to marry Izuku, the boy who always reached out to him. The man who saved his life many times. The man he saved many times in return. The love of his life. And his absolute soulmate. He's sure of that. Only fate would be so cruel as to dangle such an amazing man in front of him, then make him spend a decade and a half being a complete fucking dumbass about it. After everything, the nerd is still by his side. So he has to be Katsuki's soulmate.
Once the music shifts to a bridal tune, the room grows quiet. The doors open once more. Inko holds Izuku's arm. He's looking down in shyness but that doesn't hide his beauty. A few gasps and 'aw's are heard as he looks up and straight at Katsuki. Only ever at Katsuki. And he has the softest, most hopelessly in love expression. Kirishima suddenly understands the look Katsuki had moments before. Because Izuku has the same expression.
Izuku's suit was much like Bakugou's, only viridian in color, and with a bow tie. Where Katsuki's shirt was white, Izuku's was black. Where his handkerchief was creme, Izuku's was red. Where Katsuki had a grenade shaped pin, Izuku had an All Might pin on his lapel. He insisted. Izuku, unlike Katsuki, could be talked into the cufflinks. Green gems. Honestly, a good look for Izuku. Damn, Katsuki couldn't be more proud he could call this man his husband. Or was about to
Suddenly, Izuku is standing in front of him, with his glassy, teary eyes and his stupidly adorable freckles. "Hi."
"Holy shit. -I mean, hey. Fuckin' hot."
Izuku giggles with a shy blush.
Inko takes her seat next to Mitsuki and Masaru, handkerchief up to her mouth as she stifles her tears. Her baby was getting married. And over all, he is the happiest she's ever seen him. Katsuki will be good to him, she just knows it. She wasn't sure when Izuku called her one day after graduation and told her Kacchan confessed his feelings. She remembers how the boy used to be with her son. She never expected Katsuki would ask to meet her over dinner. And she definitely didn't expect such a polite and nervous young man apologizing to her for how he treated her son and asking for her blessing to date Izuku.
She was in disbelief this was the Katsuki Bakugou that her son grew up with. The boy that bullied him. But the then 19 year old that asked for her permission and apologized was so different. And the now 24 year old looking at her baby boy like he was the only thing in the universe? She knew she would trust him to look after her Izuku.
"I wish you could have seen this, Toshinori." Inko sniffles. "Izuku looks so handsome."
Katsuki takes Izuku's hands in both of his, his thumbs tracing the old scars. Izuku looks up at him with a watery smile. He stands on his tip toes to give Katsuki a kiss. Only to be stopped by Katsuki's voice.
"Ah. That comes later, dork. We gotta say 'I Do' first."
Izuku blushes but nods in acceptance. "Sorry, Kacchan. Got excited." He looks to the officiant. "Hurry please." Izuku was never a rude man, but he can get impatient from time to time, especially when it concerns his Kacchan.
"Dearly Beloved.... We are gathered here today.." The ceremony was perfectly planned. Katsuki and Izuku would exchange vows, then rings, then kiss. Then a private reception at a secret location, away from the cameras. Just a group of former classmates and their families enjoying themselves, celebrating the love of two of their dearest friends.
But not everything goes as planned when you're a world renowned hero getting married to another world renowned hero. On national television. You think you're going to say your vows to the love of your life. But what you get is the chapels roof being blown apart.
Screaming erupts as Izuku curses himself for being so distracted. If he wasn't oogling Kacchan in his gorgeous suit, Danger Sense could have picked up on the attack before it happened.
Metal crumples in a sickening crunch as more of the ceiling peels away. The heros of the wedding party immediately lower themselves into defensive positions. Katsuki and Izuku included.
Several figures come into view. Lead by a larger figure, floating. The leader was dressed in a trench coat over some kind of black metal armor. They seemed to have some kind of metal manipulation quirk.
"Hope we're not late!" The leader bellows. "What a lovely wedding!" The foundation beams of the ceiling rise as the leader levitates. They twist and form spear like abominations of steel and bolts. "Too bad you're going to miss the honeymoon! Say goodbye to your heroes!" The spears come raining down in Izuku and Katsuki's direction.
"Fucking figures my wedding day will be crashed by extras!" Katsuki blasts one of the spears to pieces before it can hit Izuku. Izuku's fists flicker with the familiar green lightning of One For All.
Kirishima hardens his body, bursting through his suit. "We're not letting you ruin this!" He shields the couple from as much as he can with his hardened body. "Unbreakable!"
Aizawa wasn't prepared for a fight so he didn't bring his gear, due to this being a wedding event and honestly he didn't think any villains would be stupid enough to attack a room full of heroes. But he can still help his students with his fighting abilities, even if the war took one of his eyes. He had his family and his kids by his side.
Kaminari didn't have his gear either so fighting will be hard without hurting his friends. But he was still a human stun gun if he can touch one of them. But.. he had to get the civilians to safety. "Mr and Mrs Bakugou! Come with me. Everyone! You have to evacuate and let the heroes take care of it!"
"Good thinking, Kaminari!" Izuku praises as he catches a beam in midair using Float and his super strength. "Anyone with a defense quirk, escort the civilians to safety!"
"Zuku! Tell them to go to the reception!" Katsuki goes after one of the villains head on, yelling as he jumps to attack with a blast overhead. His mom is gonna bitch at him later for the suit being ruined.
"Good idea, Kacchan! Shoto, stabilize the ceiling!" Immediately Shoto nods and coats the ceiling in a thick sheet of ice, connecting that to his Heaven Piercing Ice Wall. That should hold. Sero comes rushing to his side and reinforces his wall of ice with tape. He'd pushed his sleeves up at some point. The couple smile softly at each other before focusing again on the battle.
Izuku uses Black Whip to hurl himself at the lead villian, at the same time Katsuki has the same idea, using his blasts to launch himself. Two minds acting as one. They both rear back to punch at the same time.
"Detroit Smash!"
"Burning Fist!"
They land their attacks into a wall of metal. The villain must have set it up in the last moment.
Sero, Kirishima, Aizawa and Uraraka take on the other villains.
Katsuki was pissed. How fucking DARE these nobody losers crash his wedding. Not even someone big name like Big Nose, or even Half and Half's burnt pile of disappointment of a brother. Hell, he'll take that smiling weirdo vandalist again. But no. He's gonna fight some magnetic loser and his cronies. At least it'll be quick. These chumps got nothing on the Wonder Duo.
Kaminari comes running back into the chapel. "Everyone's on the way to the venue!"
Hitoshi's eyes are immediately drawn to him. And the world seems so glow. He's messy, his hair is messed up, and his clothes are wrinkled. But to Hitoshi, he's never looked more beautiful. Kaminari's eyes meet his. And he gets an idea. "Izuku! Bakugou! Fall back!"
Katsuki blasts a clone one of the villains to pieces. "Hah!? I ain't a coward!"
"No, Kacchan.." Izuku lands back on the ground. "I think I know where he's going with this."
"Denki." Hitoshi calls out to Kaminari. "He controls metal." Kaminari's eyes widen. His fingers spark with excitement. This could work.
"I get it! Kats, stand back!" Katsuki growls, but lands back on the ground next to Izuku.
"Current Chain!" Kaminari's electricity shoots from his pointer finger, right at the nearest metal beam, then jumps to the next, until every piece of metal was charged with thousands of volts of electricity. Including the leader and his metal suit. The villian seizes from the sheer power of the shock, then falls, disappearing among the rubble. The remaining flunkies are tied up by their friends and teachers.
Izuku sighs in relief. His wedding is ruined. And his suit is destroyed. And his arm is injured from punching a solid metal wall. But his guests and his friends are safe. Everyone's safe. He gravitates toward Katsuki and leans on him. Katsuki is in a similar condition with a similar busted arm. But they're both safe. Katsuki wraps his uninjured arm around his future husband.
Aizawa eyes Hitoshi and nods in the direction of Kaminari. He knows his kid wants to go and talk to him. Hitoshis feelings for Kaminari are very obvious. And although he was sceptical at first, not wanting a second loud blond to deal with, his kid took after him too much. There are worse people Hitoshi could have feelings for.
Hitoshi's feet carry him to Kaminari, just as Kaminari is rushing to him.
"Hey, good j-" Kaminari throws his arms around Shinsou's 6 foot tall frame and plants a kiss right on his lips. Like the hyped up firecracker he is, he breathes life into Hitoshi's lungs. Hitoshi feels himself melting, holding Kaminari's waist.
Izuku gasps, then coos in adoration. Katsuki smirks, kissing the top of Izuku's head. "Told you, nerd."
Kaminari pulls away, suddenly aware that everyone, including Shinsou's parents, are watching them. He smiles nervously. "I shouldn't have done that. That was probably really embarrassing for you."
Hitoshi smiles softly, his forehead pressing against Kaminari's much shorter one. "Strangely, I'm okay with it." He looks to the happy couple. "I really wanted to wait until after your special day, Izuku."
"It was shit anyway." Katsuki smirks.
"Oh! We should check on our guests! Everyone's probably waiting." Izuku takes Katsuki's hand and squeezes.
Their remaining classmates that didn't help with evacuation hand off the restrained villains to the police. One by one, they give Katsuki and Izuku an apologetic pat on the back before filing out. Shinsou and Kaminari holding each other's pinkies with shy smiles.
"Mister Deku!" Eri, who was supposed to be evacuated with the other guests, meets them outside. "Mister Kacchan! You're hurt!" Eri was now 14. In her first year of UA. Class A and her family couldn't be prouder. She'd decided she was going to specialize in healing and support. "Let me help." She reaches her hands out for both of them, intending to use her quirk as she did with the guests.
"Eri, it's okay. You've helped more than enough today. We don't want you to overuse your quirk."
"Mister Deku, I can do it. I've been practicing. Papa, can I?" Like everything, she looks to Aizawa for answers. He assesses the situation, both trusting Eri could physically do it, but also as her father being nervous about her overusing her quirk. Yamada had gone with the kids to help evacuate, using his quirk to give instructions and directions to the reception venue. But if his husband were here, he'd encourage Eri to help however she can, because that's what a hero does.
"Go ahead. But take it slow. Midoriya, she's been doing well. She can do this."
Izuku nods. "Alright. It would suck pretty bad if I had to dance with my new husband with one arm." He smiles. Eri places her hand on both Katsuki's and Izuku's arms. There's a glow from her quirk, then it's over. Like their injuries never happened. Izuku smiles, flexing his fingers on his now healed hand. "Thank you, Eri. You're amazing. Let's go."
"Nerd. How are we gonna get everyone there? All the cars left."
Izuku frowns. "Shit. I didn't think of that.. Kacchan and I can get there with our quirks, but... I don't know." Tears start to form in Izuku's eyes. Here it comes. All the pressure is finally overflowing. Izuku is breaking down. Suddenly, he's sobbing, and Katsuki pulls him into an embrace. "I-I just...wanted to get...married." Katsuki shushes him in the most loving tone, gently petting his hair and holding him.
"It's okay, Izu... We don't need some big party."
"The... The money..."
"We'll figure something out, baby."
Their friends start to join in on the hug, Todoroki being the first. "Midoriya, we always find a way."
"Yeah, dude. We're Class A." Kirishima adds, hugging Izuku as well. Izuku is comforted knowing that so many people care about him. Kaminari, Shinsou, Sero, Eri, and in spirit, their whole class. All of them love him so much.
"I'm so blessed to have you all." He sniffles. "You're right. We'll find a way."
Aizawa's heart aches for his kids. But logically, there's not much he or Mic would do. None of them have transportation quirks. Or speed quirks. "You kids go ahead. With Bakugou's blasts and your jumps and Black Whip, you should be able to get to the beach."
"But... We'd be leaving you all here... Sensei, I want you all to be with me. But... I guess it doesn't matter now because the wedding is ruined." Izuku felt like crying again.
"Oi! Who said it's ruined? We're fucking Deku and Dynamight! We're getting married today if we have to officiate it ourselves. If it takes a bit longer to get there and be with our friends, that's nothin!"
"We'll do what we can, kid." Their former teacher smiles so softly, it's almost invisible.
"We certainly will, Mr Aizawa." Everyone in the room turns to the unnaturally cheerful voice. When did he get here? "Pardon me for the intrusion, but I saw you on the news and I was thinking you'd be quite upset about your wedding being interrupted. So as the former principal of our countries top heroes and a dear friend of the beloved late All Might, I've taken it upon myself to offer my aid."
Katsuki makes a 'tch' sound, but really, he's touched that their former teachers want to help. "You got a ride or what, furbag?"
"Kacchan! Have manners. Principal Nezu, we're so grateful for your help." Izuku smiles.
Nezu taps his cane on the ground. "Follow me, children. Your white horse awaits."
The group shuffle through the rubble to make it to the outside of the building. Theres three cars, all lined up and ready to be filled, drivers ready. Izuku could almost cry.
"And I have one more surprise for my number one and two students."
"I'm number one right?" Izuku smacks Katsuki's arm.
"Kacchan!" Then Izuku smiles mischievously. "you're not even number one on the charts."
"Oi! It's not too late to return the gifts, ya little shit."
"As I was saying, children. I've arranged an officiant to meet us at the venue." Izuku and Katsuki stares at their former principal in confusion and shock.
"Are you saying... We can still be married?" Izuku tries not to let too much hope show in his voice but due to his nature, it's impossible.
"Yes of course. I'm a bit of a romantic. Now go. You kids deserve happiness after all you've been through."
Izuku kneels down to hug Nezu, tears in his eyes. "Thank you, so much. I don't think we ever thanked you for doing so much to protect us."
"You don't need to thank me for doing my job." Nezu looks to Aizawa. "No matter how old you kids get, we will always be your teachers. Aizawa, you can take it from here. Eri, my dear, lovely job. You get stronger every day. I look forward to your debut." Eri gives him a bow and a grateful smile. Then the stoat like hero hobbles away.
"Alright, dweebs. Into the cars, now! Sensei, Squirt, Dunce Faces boytoy, you're with us! Stupid Hair, Half and Half and Tape Face, take the other car. Dunce Face stop giving me those eyes, you're not coming with us."
"Blasty-"
"Its my wedding-"
"Our wedding, Kacchan."
"Fine, nerd. OUR wedding. And I'm not gonna watch you two tongue each other. So for now, you're staying far away from him. You're in the third car with Cheeks and Raccoon Eyes."
Denki tips his head back with a groan. He grumbles that it's not fair that Sero and Todoroki get to share a car and they're a couple. But he reluctantly follows his classmates to the car. Everyone loads up and they're on their way.
Izuku is buzzing with excitement, waving his fists happily. He's gonna get married after all.
But then he notices. "Huh. This time of day, you'd think they'd be traffic. Or at least red lights."
Aizawa snorts. "I bet that old rodent has something to do with it. You two have always been his favorite."
Katsuki smirks, his arm around the back of Izuku's seat. "Don't act like we're not your favorites, teach."
"I don't have favorites. I care about all my students."
"Father..." Hitoshi gives him a look. "it's not logical to lie. We both know this class has wormed their way into your heart more than any other class."
Aizawa can't fight logic. Hitoshi is smiling, and so is Eri. And he definitely doesn't like the look on the problem children's faces. "Not a word."
When the cars arrive at the beach, a crowd is waiting for them. Their friends and families, the civilians they saved throughout their lives.
And most of all, they were met with a private party, on a long secluded beach very few even remember being there. The beach Izuku trained with All Might on, those many years ago. The beach Izuku cleaned top to bottom when no one else would. The beach Izuku took Katsuki for their first date and told him the story of how he met All Might. The beach Katsuki later proposed to Izuku at.
This beach was very special to the both of them. That's why they knew it had to be their secret reception venue. They had it decorated with flowers and lights, with tables set up with tons of food. Carpets made up a dance floor and a small stage was set up for music.
The centerpiece of the party wasn't some big dessert table, or ice sculpture, although Shoto did offer to provide one. It was far more special. Years ago, when they both broke through the top five, Katsuki and Izuku had the idea to install a tribute to Toshinori Yagi on the beach that meant so much to both of them.
See, the world already knew All Might. All around Japan was statues of his great, towering, muscular form, strong and unbreakable, with a blinding smile on his face. But hardly anyone cared about Toshinori Yagi. So Izuku designed the statue and Katsuki funded it. It was bronze, Toshinori sitting on a bench, with a filled bento open at his side, delicate rabbit printed cloth draped over the bento. His face old and weathered, but calm and at peace. He smiles with a warmth few saw on the heroes face. The plaque read "Toshinori Yagi: Father, teacher, and eternal hero."
When Izuku steps out of the car, he immediately goes to his mother, who of course, is emotional as always. "I'm okay, mom. It was nothing. Really, they were nobodies." Izuku laughs, trying to lean away from his mother's doting hands trying to clean the dirt from his face.
Mitsuki, was pretty much the opposite. She snatches Katsuki's ear. "You brat! First you avoid me all day, then you chase me out of the church."
"If you were there any longer, hag, you would have started burning!"
"You calling me a devil, brat!?"
"Honey... The kids have been through a lot today. Let's let Katsuki get to his wedding party." Masaru tries to pull his wife away.
Izuku manages to calm his mother down enough to escape her overbearing grasp. He finds his way to the statue at the center of the party. Just looking at it makes his heart ache. There's so much he should have done. But Yagi passed peacefully, of old age, surrounded by his many students and loved ones. Izuku and Katsuki held his hands as he took his last breath. His Wonder Duo was there, filling his heart with love until the end. Even so, Izuku wishes more than anything, he could go back to that day. That day Yagi offered him a bento and Izuku left him behind. He wishes he could-
Katsuki's kiss to his hair brings him out of his thoughts. "Whatever you're thinking, stop. He loved you, like his own blood, Izuku. You know that."
"I know, Kacchan. I know." He smiles, turning to look up at his love. "He's the only father I've ever known. I miss him so much."
"Me too, nerd."
"Bakugou? Midoriya?" An elegant voice calls. They turn to see Momo, holding two lovely jackets. Not the same as the ones Mitsuki designed for them, but theyre perfect. "I saw the condition of your suits, and I hope you don't mind, but I've taken the liberty to make you fresh ones."
"Oh, Momo..." Izuku hugs her close. As an adult, he's gotten much more comfortable around pretty girls. Probably due to all of his female classmates being beautiful. He's had time to get used to the beauty that surrounded him. Although his favorite beauty was still sharp red eyes and battle scars on his face. "Thank you. So much."
Izuku accepted the jackets and helps Katsuki put his on. Katsuki, in turn, does the same. Izuku uses his handkerchief to clean Katsuki's cheek, right where his scar rests. Katsuki fixes Izuku's messy curls. They look at each other with such love. They way they take care of each other says more than words can ever say. Katsuki turns his head to press a kiss to Izuku's scarred palm.
"Let's get married, nerd." Izuku smiles.
Yamada has reunited with his husband and kids, never doubting them for one moment. After greeting them with hugs and fatherly fistbumps, Yamada takes the stage. "Alright, alright alright! Now that the grooms are here, we got a wedding to get on with! Now, please welcome our special guest and the man who's going to be officiating the marriage of our top heroes.... Best Jeanist!" A tall, denim clad figure steps onto the stage.
"Oh for fucks sake!" Katsuki's voice is distantly heard, followed by chuckling from the crowd. He thought he'd escaped the blond menace. Sure, he invited him to the wedding, but he was told he couldn't make it due to his Number Five hero duties. Now Katsuki has to deal with him.
And he's gonna be marrying him and the nerd. Izuku bumps his hip. "He's not that bad, Kacchan. And he's taking time off to fill in. I know you respect him. You even asked him to teach you to dance."
"How the fuck-"
"I have my sources, Kacchan. Don't worry about it. The point is, we're very grateful that he's here to help. Now... If I wait any longer to get married, I think I'll explode."
Yamada hands Best Jeanist the microphone. "Thank you, Present Mic. Can the grooms come to the stage?" Izuku is very excited to join Best Jeanist. Katsuki rolls his eyes, but follows his future husband. He's only doing this to marry the nerd. That's all.
Izuku stands in front of Katsuki, holding his hands, looking at him with those big, stupid green eyes he can never say no to. And the humiliation is worth it. Because he's gonna marry this dweeb.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here..." The ceremony goes on without any more incident. The two exchange their vows to each other. They're given the rings, and kiss each other's hands as they place them on each other's fingers. They look into each other's eyes and whisper words of love.
"I hereby pronounce you wed. You may kiss." And kiss they did. Katsuki doesn't waste a moment in grabbing Izuku and spinning him in a passionate kiss. Cheers erupt around them. And the newly wed couple laugh.
Finally, as the sun sets, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugou, Deku and Dynamight are married.

Hi sorry if this is annoying lol. But I feel like I rushed what I was saying last time 😭. I don’t necessarily think that everyone is going to get it. BkDk at least if not then the core three. I also think that if Hori wasn’t diabolical about queer baiting then this could also be a way for BkDk to be confirmed canonically. Idk if this is making any sense it makes sense in my brain but words are hard and I am but a mere peasant. I just like discussing theories and wanted to see your opinion! I hope this isn’t overbearing (ᗒᗣᗕ)
not annoying at all!! thank you for the clarification!! i also believe that if hori wasnt diabolical about queer shit then yes it would be so good for canon bkdk but alas we live in a society. it makes sense just fine!! my opinion remains the same tho, i think everyone getting it is still viable (tho ik thats not what you meant!) like i rlly do see hori going down such a path but who knows

Protective shouto in bkdk fics is great too. Like when bakugo treats deku like shit it’s always him and/or Iida who tell off bakugo for hurting him until bakugo proves that he’s changed and won’t hurt him anymore and I live for it.
I’m not particularly fond of the “shining knight” trope for Shouto.
I don’t think it’s particularly in character for him to meddle like that in the BKDK relationship. I think even if he cannot parse the full dynamic, he understands that it’s a lot of mixed baggage. Shouto knows a thing or two about complex relationships and mixed feelings that come with those. And he did say in canon that meddling in a delicate situation is not a good thing.
Also, I think he trusts Izuku to be able to handle himself just fine and draw his own lines. Remember that the Deku Shouto met had this extraordinary power already, so Shouto has no context of the childhood power imbalance between Bakugou and Deku. In fact, the whole class watched on day 1 as Bakugou got beat by Deku.
I don’t think Shouto would take it upon himself to tell Bakugou off on behalf of Izuku, nor does Shouto seem to feel threatened by Bakugou’s anger at any point. He sees it as the noise it is from day 1.
I feel like instead he would focus on giving support for Izuku (like we saw during the Overhaul arc) - by prompting him to talk if he wants to or to be just there, like a comforting presence.
Btw, I equally dislike the reverse too - when Deku or Bakugou “protect Shouto” from Endeavor, which is another pervasive trope. I guess for me it’s more interesting for Shouto to have the agency in that relationship and deciding how to handle his father, then have other people making choices for him, no matter how well-Intending.
But I have fairly niche taste and dislike a lot of the most popular tropes.

Hiii I hope u doing well uwu did u know about what some people are saying, they're say that the second movie of bnha it was canon what do u think? Sorry for my bad English hahahah
I'm doing well haha don't worry! (And your English is good!) The second movie is heroes rising right? Ah.. the scene where Kacchan and Izuku fight together always gets me emotional I could never forget it hehe but it was supposed to be canon! I don't have the source but the ending of the movie with Izuku transferring OFA to Kacchan was supposed to be the official end of my hero academia but the author found a "better" ending so it changed! I kind of want to talk about it with the latest chapter that came out. Horikoshi has always ended sad/angsty arcs with a positive note, he's not the kind of author to write a straight-up tragedy so if the supposed-to-be ending of MHA was Kacchan and Izuku accepting each other, fighting together and sharing OFA, i don't think a "better" ending is Kacchan dying, Izuku going berserk and so killing everyone, winning the war and ending up mourning for the rest of his life. Come on, the manga gonna end with a festival, and Izuku and Kacchan will share a crepe I accept no less happiness from these two!
Oh! That's right! One last thing I liked about the heroes rising movie is how kacchan asked "this is the end of your dream you know?" like he knows being born without a quirk is a trauma for Izuku so he cares a lot about that! You know how there's this theory that Izuku isn't wasn't born quirkless and All for one stole his quirk, if it's actually revealed to be true and Bakugou learns that Izuku's messed up childhood could have been avoided if it wasn't for All for one, Bakugou's going to be even more mad.. he cares about Izuku a lot so... I really want to see that
Talking about caring... love and stuff:) I believe Horikoshi made the death scene so bkdk's reunion would be even more emotional and, well... romantic. I didn't want this post to turn into a "why I think bkdk is the most romantic shit I've read in my entire life" post but here we are, deal with my rant, please :D
I remember once Horikoshi said he was bad at writing romance... if he deadass dared to write bkdk's relationship as soulmat-ish as it is and still makes Izuku end up with Ochaco.. then either Shonen Jump forced Horikoshi to give a straight relationship, either he was too scared of the dudebros' homophobia, either he's actually really bad at romance 😭 Please Izuku thinks about Ocha as much as I think about watering my cactuses... (once every 2 months-) and let me tell you guys, if you think about your "best friend" more than you think about your wife, you married the wrong person, I'm so sorry-
So if Horikoshi has the same balls he had when he wrote the death of the fan's favorite character (again, he'll come back to life I'm sure of it) then he'll have them to write the most romantic shit you'll ever see when Izuku comes back and sees what Shigaraki did. Horikoshi really understands so well the whole "nothing's black and white, it's all nuances of gray", no matter what subject it is about, including love. Bakugou loves Izuku but his pride and his fear of Izuku's selflessness made him show his ugliest side and bully Izuku for years, meanwhile Izuku gets very possessive, aggressive and selfish the second anyone attacks Kacchan physically or emotionally. Bakugou is inspired by Izuku and naturally wants to feel closer to him by imitating him, no matter if it's the side he likes (drive to save, courage, kindness) or the sides he dislikes (self sacrifice, mutters...) Izuku has always done the same thing, winning like Kacchan, and cursing like kacchan.. they're opposites but can't live without each other, prefer to die than live without the other..
So now that the angst is at its highest peak... I expect peak romance as well. Of course i have high expectations, Horikoshi wrote the best romantic dynamic I've read in my entire life, and the story's genre isn't even romance
