- you’ve been paired with two golden retriever boys because,,, you deserve it dude im ngl

- peter is tired. that isnt hard to see. he’s tired because of work, school, hero shit and all of that is contained until he gets home and can decompress in the safety of his own home

- he kinda expected to just have it be like that for the rest of time, to be honest. just him and the four walls of his room where he could sit there and stay alone with his thoughts when ned or mj aren’t over

- what he didn’t expect was to be able to come home to see you sleeping peacefully, having fallen asleep while waiting for him

- having you around just,,, makes him feel better i guess? theres something about you that just makes him feel safe

- it’s probably because you get it. its in your nature to help people no matter if it ends up hurting you or not. he doesn't have to explain himself when he says he brought a woman’s groceries to her car even though he was suffering from 3 untreated broken rib wounds

- its also hard for him to open up to people that he hasn’t known for a while, so having been able to just connect with you so easily is probably what sent him over into falling for you harder than he thought he would

- he’s probably super awkward about it though since he doesn’t want to scare you off, so be patient with him!

- barry is high-strung like 99% of the time man. he gets the burnt out gifted kid vibes because he IS the burnt out gifted kid (only on 5 hour-enery this time). he cycles in between his 500 hyperfixations when he gets bored of one of them. he literally helps people as part of second nature dude jUST GET MARRIED ALREADY

- the fact that you have various hobbies is actually preferable to him. it’s kinda difficult for him to focus on just one thing, and so doing different things each day is something he actually enjoys more than staying focused on something for too long (unless its something he’s super invested in)

- it’s not uncommon for him to start picking up new hobbies and talents and shit because YOU’RE into it, so if he suddenly starts crocheting or baking or painting its your fault

- ALSO he stays up at ungodly hours of the night because his body refuses to let him rest unless he’s like about to pass out, so don’t worry about having issues sleeping! he’ll find something for the both of you to do to pass the time :)
