i like to think everyone has a colour associated with them, whether its just your fave colour or what you generally wear most of or what colour your bedroom walls are. i always associate the name sophie with dark blue, my mum is always a nice turquoise, i like to think my colour is a bright sunflower yellow.

if you have a specific shade pls tell me i adore when ppl have associated colours and tell me them, bc i think of them when i see that colour

#shut up danni's talking #its one of my ultimate favourite aspects of character designs and i will forever use it w my characters #but i also think abt it w ppl!!!! #its almost certainly spawned from a combo of my mum passionately loving her colour + my primary school #my primary school's name/theme/whatever was related to the rainbow #its common for primary schools in the uk for the uniform to be polo shirts and schools would pick a colour and that was your uniform #but w my school's theme being rainbows they were like lol whatever colour as long as you're in a polo shirt #so kids would choose whichever shirt colour they wanted some kids switched it up every year #others stuck w the colour they chose all 6 years #so of course i would correlate ppl w colours which is how i always relate sophie w dark blue #bc i'd play w this girl called sophie in the afterschool club who always wore dark blue through all the years i knew her #tbh i still think of my brother also as dark blue bc he would wear the same colour #if you could not guess my colour was yellow and i always felt distinctly wrong when i had to wear a different colour #there were a couple times i had to borrow a new shirt bc mine got dirty or all mine hadn't been washed so i had to wear my brother's #i don't know if its just me but i feel like everyone has an affinity with a colour even if its n9t your fave #hence the poll lmao

Richard's dad looks 101

Richard has different signature styles in his dad attire closet, all kind of similar and yet unique.

We have the typical beanie and shirt combo:

A must-have clothing item completing the 'comfy dad look' is the beloved and frequently worn track pants, preferably from Adidas.

Furthermore we have the iconic shirt and longsleeve combo or just a longsleeve (which I personally like best regarding the dad attire):

Again we see the loyalty to the track pants 👌🏼

While we're in the long sleeve department, no dad list is complete without his pink hoodie collection, for example this one (from Comme des Garçons):

This also represents another vital dad item for Richard: The red cap. Concerning his dad look, this also has to be mentioned. Despised by many, loved by few, absolutely adored by him for whatever reason, but as long he's happy with it, so am I 🫡 Another comfy dad outfit including said cap:

An adorable thing about Richard and quite frankly pretty sustainable is that he really keeps on wearing the same clothes for years, he definitely has his favourites. Very dad-like and I highly support this 🙏

Like the purple star shirt and the 'Dead Kennedys' shirt:

And last but not least, maybe not what you call a real 'dad' look, but I will never get tired of mentioning my absolute favourite dad-ish out and about look of him. Him in a beanie and parka, absolute heart eyes when I see him like this:

I wanted to try and find my headcanon of Roach's face because for some reason my brain decided that I couldn't keep writing my fanfic if I didn't know what I wanted him to look like beneath his mask... So obviously the full picture wasn't planned. (Also I went the easy way for the background because I remembered that I wasn't getting paid anyway so why make myself suffer)

I don't know if the design is definitive, but I find him cute. I made him Welsh, because why not. He can bond with Soap over why the fuck do the English exist.

Anyway they're gossiping about someone at the pub like the little shits they are. Also I don't know if it's obvious or not, but Roach has the mask sun-tan line. Ghost does too. Speaking of Ghost, he's on the other side of the table, looking like that :
