f1wags After a brief hiatus from social media, y/n makes a cameo on her friend's IG Live today! In today's live, she spilled the beans on some questions about her christmas holiday in Australia and the short getaway in Japan with Oscar. She couldn't help but gush about the incredible experience—her first time in Australia. Oscar played the perfect tour guide, showing her around his hometown and introducing her to his family. He also told us about their short getaway in Japan. Y/N explained that they haven't seen each other for more than two weeks as Oscar is already back to work—busy with meetings, simulator sessions, and prepping for the upcoming F1 season at the McLaren Technology Centre, and she have to return to her work and projects too.

And can we just say, we're glad the couple is still in good terms after the recent not-so-great rumors?

your pen posts are so funny from an outsider perspective. the mind of the enthusiast and of the pen-not-knower is so different. you post a picture of a pen and say THIS IS SOME UGLY BULLSHIT and then you post a picture of a pen that looks the same to me and say OH SHES SO PRETTYYYY I LOVE HERRR. absolutely inscrutable taste from the outside. love it :)

LISTEN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TWO IS VAST OKAY.

the uber-shiny orange plastic looks CHEAP and the super yellow gold plating SCREAMS "i want to look fancier than i really am". the colored plastic of the demonstrator also looks like shit and makes it look like a kids' toy. plus the rings around the cap are corny, they're incorporating common fancy fp design elements with no self awareness about the tackiness of the rest of the pen, it makes it seem unaware of its own ugliness.

MEANWHILE on the right. tasteful, not in your face rose gold plating that's gentle and suits the delicate color palette of the pen. the way the demonstrator shows off an actually metal plunger, already better construction. i'm not a huge fan of the way the white is partially transparent but its hard to make opaque white plastic at this price point, especially with the glitter effect in it, fine enough to appear subtle and not flashy. shes classy shes elegant. even her clip is better looking with no ridiculous rings. some of her design elements are a bit cheaper looking and are done better on benu pens, but because she is more of an intermediate budget option she is allowed. she doesn't come across as cheap thin plastic like the kaweco frosted sport series. she is TASTEFUL she has CLASS but she is still OF THE PEOPLE. remember this

She’s super cute! I like the traditional mixed with the edge she’s got going on. I like the hint of Decora Kei with the stickers on her face, the band aid on her nose, and the gibbits on her shoes.

What I do not like. Is the implication that her shoes are Heeled. Platform. Crocks. (I have a joking hate for them as a shoe widhdkssks)

I love her kimono shirt, the super high belt and the leather looking zip skirt with all the studs. I also love the flower chain and the fingerless gloves she’s wearing. I love her complicated her hairstyle looks and I love the ribbons.

Her more traditional outfit is super cute too. I love the massive bow on her Obi, I love her shirt and her skirt (see RH can sometimes do see through well) and I love her wooden Sandals sooo much-

Very cute. I love her hair and the clips, love her glasses (as a fellow blind bitch), love her white lashes and freckles and the gray eyes.

Love her dress-the top almost looks like boiler suit but the bottom is all lace lined and pretty. I love the pretty chunky, short heel boots and the socks peaking out.

I really like her second outfit too, her shoes especially. I love how simple the top is and then down her jeans the flowers trail down until her shoes look covered in them.

I also only noticed her bracelet with this outfit, it’s cute I like it!

I adore her jewelry and her Henna hands.

The top and shoes are good. The top is great actually-I love the faux sauri thing at the back, I love the thread wraps on her pants, but the color of her pants is. A thing I don’t love. They’re too close to a green-yellow rather than just yellow imo.

I love her second outfit, it looks like traditional Indian women’s wear which I know was the intent, but far as I can tell they really nailed it. Her sandals look a lil weird from the front but I like em too much to mind.

There’s the leather dress with the flounce at the bottom, which I hate at this dress length. Honestly I rarely ever like it at all.

Her different fishnets are competing with each other, her shoes are like a cherry on top of a lopsided cake cuz they’re also weird. I think it’s the color?

Her second outfit…looks super flat but also not??? It looks like a print on a dress rather then being the dress ya know? It also looks super stiff? Like if you tried to touch it, it’d just stay in place. Her boots are alright but the texture might be adding to the dress weirdness.

18. An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken

once i lost the pen to my drawing tablet (the pen cost under 10 dollars but i was still stressed about it) but then after buying a new one i found it so it turned out to be a non-issue and also i have 2 seven-dollar pens now

however if we're talking pens and pencils?? well i'm careful with colors and shit but i commit atrocities against pens constantly. and i like ripping the skin off of pencils with my fingernails when im working on stuff

there is. not a lot that i can say for this. because i change my style depending on what im drawing, people usually recognize it as what i'm going for, which is neat (also i mostly show my art to people on the internet because they're not as scary).

the one thing that i'll say kinda irritates me is when people see me drawing irl in a more comic-book ish style and are like "oh, is it anime?" which is like. anime art is so fuckin cool!!! i think it's so neat!!!! but it's also a VERY different style than mine and it feels kinda weird when people compare my art to it just cos it's cartoony sdhfksdh

At first your mans is too distracted finally seeing you for the first time in weeks to notice what you're wearing, but when he does...

Guy just shuts up immediately. He admires your form in this outfit and he gulps LOUDLY

You've got him in the palm of your hand allll night

Your idea to get a new lingerie set to surprise Kankuro with is really great!

Lucky you, you manage to find this super lacy set in a deep purple with lots and lots of straps

It's gorgeous and you know he's gonna love it!

But as you dress yourself up and put on your set, you see Kankuro enter in the door with a very exhausted expression

Certainly he can't be blamed, his mission was not only long but arduous too

You deflate slightly but hold out hope that perhaps you can surprise him later on when he's more rested

As you go to greet him, the surprise completely out of your mind at this point, you notice his eyes drift down

He's eyeing this new outfit you have (the matching robe you bought covering up the set) and he can't keep his hands away

After you've very flirtatiously said your hellos, he ever so gently and slowly undoes your robe tie and his eyes go wide

Trust me, he wasn't too tired whatsoever ;)

A redo of an old art I did back in 2015. It’s fun looking back and forth between the two looking at what I’ve done different.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t drawn tons of art between now and then (2015). Not as much as I used to. I’ve been doing more concept art writing than drawing for fun.

I blend the blush a bit more. With the hair, I’ve reduced the lines a bit. I don’t shade into the hair that deep anymore apparently. Screw ears. I don’t do anything with them anymore. Pffff

I’ve also been trying to put more care into hiding facial details behind hair instead of it just showing through. Sometimes I forget though.

The coloring overalll!!!! I love how I color now. I’ve taken to adding a violet or orange tint to everything. It’s so prettyyyy.

Another major difference, the new one is in clip studio paint and the old one in photoshop. I’m still getting used to clip studio. I actually intended to animate the new art but I was trying to do too much so It kinda sucked. But you can see the frames below the old art

1. new music - ummm this might be my favorite thing to look at ..... i love new music so much and this is like. peak. i think i peaked here. i tried using this format with other lyrics it did not compare. everyone please stream ragtime

2. anne elliot bday edit - oh this is another one that i repeated format for lmaoo but look at her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love her so much i think lavendar is her soul’s color and i think this was the first time i was playing around with texture like it just so prettyyyy

3. flight gifset - everyone stream flight sutton + megan are so everything to me and this is when i finally figured out i could screen record without an app and also the coloring came out rlly nice ,, fits the mood better 

4. ragtime title - okaY so the original idea in my head was also a sunset backdrop but silhouettes of each group per panel buT thats too complicated and also the photos are all blurry so instead we have the title i think this is the best one of the title edits even tho its the first bc the font matches the show and also the wind swept effect vv cool i love this a lot

5. georg + amalia arguing - uhm doyy this took hours... inspired by cossette’s edit (which is linked on there) i dont love ?? georg’s font but im obsessed with elephant for amalia ... uhm yeah mostly just the amount of time i put in.... why i did that ... who knows....

today: post-wedding 1×12! and finally freedom from the terrors of s1

forever a slut for that scene where Magnus just does that hand movement and a bunch of shit starts showing up in the conveniently empty table ugh we stan. imagine if the special effects had been this good all the time they really used up 10 out of their 15 dollars and all the two favors from cousin Mike for this one. 1×12 was so inspired tbh only valid episode

Alec's clothes look so much better without the stupid ugly blazer? could do without the high waisted pants (why) but he looks so much better and also more comfortable. again i hope the costume department staff got a big, fat paycheck because the difference we see in him during the wedding vs post-wedding alone is just insane. he looks so much better and more comfortable and more himself, the blazer made him look stiff and again DOESNT MATCH THE REST. also nice touch that the blazer is the only part of his clothing with gold, the sh wedding color. he gets that off and everything looks so much better

Magnus looks even better post wedding too. like the clothing is already *chef's kiss* but he looks even prettier afterwards somehow. the hair is a little softer and he's less stiff as a whole (for obvious reasons), and aaaa hes so beautifulllll he's so prettyyyy look at his perfect soft little hair falling softly over his head and the PINK STREAKS possibly the best Magnus look i said what i said. especially with him all soft and smiley like that i big love him

sexiest thing about Magnus is how Jace does anything and hes like NO BITCH

the way he says "warlock tracking is stronger" with that smile......... hes so prety

also their expressions are so funny like maryse is LIVID she’s absolutely losing her mcfucking mind with anger homegirl’s head is about to explode and robert is just looking like he pissed on the carpet or something

the way alec doesn’t back down at all is so admirable too like!!!! it’s one thing to make a big fuck you gesture, it’s another to still hold your ground against your abusers after that fact. but he really stands there and goes “this isn’t about you” “i’m the same person i’ve always been” and doesn’t give her an inch of room for clownery. like again once alexander gideon lightwood makes up his mind there’s no stopping him and there’s no going back and he’s just so fucking strong??? he really said “from now on i’m out and you’re going to absolutely deal with that and i will not compromise a single thing” and the lightwoods just had to deal with that lmaoooo 

you can see it in maryse’s face too, like after the “i’m the same person i’ve always been” she just pauses, realizing that she lost this battle without even knowing, she was on top of it a second ago and now there’s nothing she can do anymore and she’s just shook. and all that’s left for her is to scoff at magnus and leave, because that’s it, she lost every hold she had on him

alec’s little mouthed “what?” at “and all for a downworlder” too. i think part of him was like “wow she’s backing down already?” because you know he expected this to be a lot harder i think lmao. but i also like to think that there’s a side of “mom what the fucking fuck have you seen him he’s gorgeous and kind and smart and amazing and literally the best person i could have fallen in love with but go off i guess”

robert going all “just give her time” like he doesn’t understand what’s happening here at all. he clearly plays the “good cop” in the lightwood’s abusive dynamic tbh, like people often brush him off as being just spineless but i honestly think that he’s just the other side of her manipulative coin. specially with izzy, like, when izzy said fuck it and completely let go of maryse’s hold on her? that’s where robert came in, being the accepting, “nice” parent who listened to her and cared, and making sure she’d keep her loyalties. because he didn’t really stand up for izzy either and in the end he kept her still glued to the lightwood family through that, and kept defending maryse and izzy listened to him because he was robert. and i think that’s what’s happening here too, him trying to frame this as “don’t worry, she’ll come around” because he knows right then that alec is absolutely going to turn their back on them if that’s what it takes for her to be happy so he immediately slides in and reframes this under an affection light where everything will be alright! even if honestly i don’t think that’s what alec is really thinking about at all, i think he was 100% ready for a showdown 

and robert is clearly so disapproving and yikes at the whole thing too but he pretends he isn’t and like lmao

shoutout to their faces when robert asks “are you two in love?” like magnus just turns around like oh hell no we’re not gonna have this conversation and alec lights up for just a second with a small smile before he’s like wait wait no shit shit shit we’ve just met no of course there’s no love (and like... i don’t think there is per se, because i think love is something that takes longer to settle in, specially for alec, but i think the idea that he could talk openly about being in love with a man and even fall fully in love with magnus one day makes him super happy you know?) lmao dorks

tho tbh i think magnus shuts down that conversation immediately to avoid heartbreak. because i think that for this whole thing he was expecting alec to say something he’d hate hearing to get his parents’ approval, you know? like like i said it’s really unexpected and surprising/inspiring that alec didn’t back down an inch there, and i think he was expecting alec to kind of fall back slightly now, like, he played his cards and now he would negotiate with them, you know? find a place to make them comfortable. instead alec gives them a complete fuck you and he’s like... damn obviously super pleased but also waiting for the other shoe to drop

he just steps in like “pls no” and stops that conversation right there 

the way alec takes a deep breath and magnus opens his mouth then closes again quickly not knowing what to say and then changes the subject.... he’s really so scared of this talk and i just aaa

it’s so cute how magnus mentions a date and alec is immediately like “hell YEAH we should do that” no hesitation like he’s 100% ready to leave immediately right now (i see his pause between “wanna... i don’t know, get a drink?” and “....sometime?”, i see it, you can’t fool me alexander) and also the fact that his first suggestion is something that he hates but that he knows for a fact magnus likes is so cute, like he immediately goes for magnus’ interests here and we stan

i also think that he’s come to associate drinking = dates after 1x06 and the way magnus called him specifically for a drink before he showed up too, like... it’s cute how he immediately came to associate those things because of magnus and just jumps into that because that’s what he knows. he’s so eager and like good for him

magnus’ SMILE when he says that like bro he can see how stoked alec is to go on a date with him they are adorable he is so fucking HAPPY i doubt he expected such a great outcome from this and yet here they are
