Hey there, I'm Roxy - a.k.a SinFrog - and after years of having little to no online presence besides Discord and sometimes a Twitter, I've been feeling the itch to throw some of the things I make out into the void and talk to people about stuff. Here's a little get-to-know-me post:

Woah, I've worked on things!

Neon Parasite (I did the music for this way back in my first couple years of college and it kinda sucks but also kinda owns. It was a wonderful experience and Louis was a great guy to work with. The game is small and simple but it's also cheap! Fun time to mess around with your friends in)

Janestuck (Does anyone remember this?? I did music for this back in highschool and it REALLY sucks but also like, luminantAegis worked on it and the owner of the Homestuck reddit said one of my tracks on it was awesome and that really stuck with me. I have no idea if anyone from this project has gotten cancelled in the last seven years but I thought I'd mention it to be inclusive.)

Sonic Holograph (I started helping a friend of mine make a Sonic/Hololive crossover back in like, 2021 when that would've been seen as kind of weird and niche, so now every time SEGA and COVER collab we look at eachother and make Regular Show-ass faces. The amount of artwork Juddy has put out for this is honestly spectacular and I'm so proud of what we've been able to make. It's like a funky fanfic/hypothetic game design document thing, I think you'd get a kick out of it even if you only fall into one circle on this venn diagram of interests.)

Sonic: What If? (I do a mix of writing, music and tons of behind the scenes stuff helping The Sega Scourge out with his YT series and if you like Sonic the Hedgehog stories PLEASE check him out, there's so many cool stories in the works and the effort he and the supporting artists/voice actors put in is something special.)

ALTERFALL (Part of the reason I'm making this Tumblr is the same reason I cracked and made a Twitter a longass time ago: To interact with people who wanna know shit about this AU. I'll probably make a more detailed post about what I actually do for ALTERFALL since Hydro gets a lot of solo project allegations, but tl;dr Homestuck AU. You like Kidswaps? Bloodswaps? Go. Feast. Mostly art rn but there's a lot of story stuff under the hood to come once all the characters have been shown off.)

I am so glad you asked!!!!!!! My parents were in the punk rock scene back in the 80s so I grew up listening to bands like The Clash and Ramones and as I got older found/got introduced to Suicidal Tendencies, Circle Jerks, Bad Brains, Black Flag, X and a lot more.

But I also love Beyoncé (I went to the Renaissance Tour!!!), Janelle Monaé, and some similar artists. I can't get enough of Sudan Archives right now.

I also got into bluegrass and country (none of that mainstream shit I swear to god) I'm talking Billy Strings (who is AMAZING! in concert), Molly Tuttle, Crooked Still, Tyler Childers and then people like Faye Webster and Laura Marling who aren't in either genre but I love. Omg I almost forgot Dolly Parton too!!!

I've been getting into African Psychedelic Rock, so I just started listening to WITCH (I love Avalanche Of Love by them with Sampa the Great) and I'm kind of poking around on Spotify to find some different bands.

I am totally forgetting people. uhhhhhh I'm been listening to wayyyy too much Talking Heads lately (Life During Wartime scratches this itch in my brain. David Byrne u funky little man). My dad's been getting into a lot of Japanese heavy metal/rock bands, so I've been listening to that via him.

you know when people are like "oh I listen to everything" I am being a hundred percent literal. I listen to fucking everything. I'm also a radio DJ (taking a little break rn though) so music is kind of my obsession. I swear I'm not pretentious about it! Sharing what I like to listen to with others is one of my greatest joys.

omg I almost forgot Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone. I'm going to stop myself here because I will just keep going if I don't.
