fabian telling gorgug he doesn't want him to quit owlbears because it is the only place they can truly hang out as friends without the pressure lording over them YEOWCH
sam nightingale fabian seacaster deeply tethered in the sense that whenever zelda & gorgug broke up i think they both were very emotionally supportive and there for their friend while also having clearly & openly thought the whole time that zelda/gorgug could’ve done better. also they’re both rich popular bards with talking vehicles who got left alone in their big house at the beginning of a school year so there’s that.
“thistlecaster had such divorce energy this episode” incorrect sorry. they had such pining energy. fabian unable to admit that he’s in love w him gorgug not knowing but still wanting to understand. do you see my vision. do you see it.
thinking about gorgug seeing fabian in the nightmare forest again….the way he goes ‘oh, you,’ like. there was a missing place in my life when i didn’t know you existed and it’s you, and of course it’s you, and it’s always been you. uh idk
not to also be in tc denial but i cant see how this conversation won't include gorgug saying in some way that he joined the owlbears to spend time with fabian. what other reason would he have to be on the team for so long if not to hang out with him or something 😭
nno cause. youre so right like what reason do u have other than u wanna spend time with ur bff . like 'if i get to be with u then that's enough for me !!' . its ok anon if we hold hands when the episode drops then through the power of friendship and Believing this WILL get referenced in the ep. godspeed
these goofy guys for the rarepair zine :-) check it out over on
[id: a digital drawing of fabian and gorgug from fantasy high, smiling over a plaid punk background. gorgug is holding fabians face, as he holds his waist. hes reaching up smiling to kiss him as fabian grins flustered. oranges are set to either side of them /end id]
there’s something so personal about the scene in fantasy high s1e7 where gorgug calls himself stupid & fabian, who up to that point had basically entirely been acting like the bad kids (especially gorgug) were beneath him & had also been the one calling ragh stupid two lines ago, instantly says “okay, do not put yourself down like that. don’t you dare do that to yourself.” like it was obvious he liked the bad kids at that point but the instinct to protect his friends manifesting as an immediate strong refusal of gorgug’s self-deprecating talk kills me. that boy loves his friends so bad oh my god i feel sick.
