The card was elegant and beautiful, much like the pristine package of alcohol on his desk. He almost thought someone else had left it for him, being as eccentric as it was. But no, the Princess of Asgard does not leave things mundane either. Except maybe the note scrawled in the card calling Happy old, though now it seemed she may finally be right compared to her younger years.

He smiled at the thought. How his influence, his hands, his existence, help mold the young goddess into the young woman she became.

The look of surprise across Happy’s face was one not many saw. He often took things in stride, opting to let his surprise show or else be constantly dealing with Pepper or Tony deliberately trying to catch him off guard.

But the little Asgardian princess, crawling into his lap, in no uncertain terms demanding his attention, was not something he expected. Still, Happy obliged none the less, calloused fingers running through her soft blonde locks affectionately.
