this guy over here is my all time favourite ,,,, i will never shut up about how the character design work here is just incredible, look at all those little glowy marks on his body, sharp pieces of armor, how cool those shells look on nemesis arms??? tentacles as hair?? the colour scheme is so pretty too. i absolutely adore the fact that that despite representing a god with human body they still kept robotic features. and the concept of him being specifically poseidon makes so much sense, a lonely master of the dark, deep realm

i also have so many headcanons for him that make me love him even more. that he is mute, for example. obviously normal ramattra is always number one, but poseidon rama will always be dear to me

ahhh i really try to keep things Flirty and Fun here, but i just wanted to lower the capitalization to flirty and fun for a moment, because. this is the second day in a row that i have full-on weepy cried irl over comments on my newest fic, and i really, really, really cannot thank you guys enough for the response to it from the absolute bottom of my heart.

fic writing brings me a lot of joy. it's both a creative outlet and a form of escapism. it's also a very intentional challenge i give my brain. yes, fundamentally i'm writing about two anime guys wanting to kiss sooo bad (because they should)—but inevitably i've put little bits of myself into my stories, as well. my little vulnerable insides that i sometimes struggle to look at directly. you know, regular artist stuff. it's hard not to, because all stories come from the heart (even fanfic).

i stopped writing for myself for many years, and i have only just returned to it this year for various reasons. the response from everyone has been absolutely overwhelming, even from day one. i'm not always the best at responding to messages or comments fast (or even at all, depending on the day) but i read everything. tags, bookmarks, ao3 comments, dms, inbox messages—all of it. i have screenshots saved in case anyone deletes anything. i go back and revisit things over and over again. every single kudos or like brings me joy.

i cannot overstress how much i love and cherish every single person who reads the stuff i've written. i'm a writer but there are literally no words big enough in the english language to express how you guys make me feel. all i can do is say thank you and keysmash and send lots of heart emoji memes... and hope i am getting the message across. but really, really thank you. from the bottom of my heart thank you. thank you, thank you, thank you.

No, but seriously, can you imagine how utterly surreal it is to be Song Taewon and have two of the most unhinged people on the planet both decide to become intensely invested in your life and health after knowing you for like five seconds? One of them uses aggressive mob tactics to try and get you to let them chauffeur you around, the other is a little guy you could crush with your pinky on accident who hunts you down in the middle of a pit of monsters with a packed lunch convinced you will starve if he doesn’t personally feed you. You have to play an intense game of de-escalation at literally all times to keep this same random guy from calling and yelling at your boss about your sleep schedule, and this is still an improvement on that time you barely convinced him it wasn’t necessary to utterly annihilate your place of work to get you more vacation time. The other one has probably historically attempted to set your closet and/or you yourself on fire so he can buy you clothes.

You just want to live your corporate slave life and resist the dark yearnings of your soul in PEACE but instead you’re having to dodge two very powerful men who both desperately want to take care of you.

i learned about the devil’s hole pupfish and it made me see the world like a child again

#i don't know if i want to write a poem about this. #don't you see? don't you understand? we are one planet but we are still infinitely vast and irrevocably beautiful #we are our own contained universe! those fish are so small #you can look at almost their entire habitat in one picture. #but... i don't know. i wanted to be a marine biologist as a child #it was so important to me and i wanted the world to be peaceful to itself and then i got older and it stopped being peaceful #i raised money for charities doing bake and craft sales as a kid. all i wanted was to understand the exact nature of what i had #been born into.. but i think i did. i think i understood it better as a child than any other time #the peace is found in the population surge. the peace is found in the sea in the places where light can no longer touch #but life keeps touching out of blind faith. #i don't know. i feel a maternal sense of protection over these fish. it is such an amazing phenomenon that they exist around us #it is a gift we have been given. and it is terrifying to realize that the planet is so animated beyond just ourselves. that humans are not #the only complex and interesting forms of life on earth. but it is so important to understand. #we are all here together. the meaning of life is inextricable from its fragility. we are all here together. #i'm not high. i just really love fish
