Might be a bit of a weird thing but I want to see Kai's sudden anger sprouts or emotional outbreaks to come back, or basically some aspects of pre S8 Kai.
I want to see Kai motherfucking smith be mad at anyone really.
The Merge just happened and fuck me his family is scattered again, they're probably just as worried and confused and scared as him and he's sick of everyone he cares about getting constantly in danger, intentionally or not.
And then he meets Lloyd, or Nya, and he's sorta relieved but at the same time, the others are still missing out there somewhere.
So he gets clingy onto them, "if I can't find the rest I have to keep the ones I have close me to safe."
Of course this comes from worrying over the others and their safety, and if the name "Imperium" and if their nindroids and Vehicles and genrals are anything to go off of, they're an absolute force to be wrecked with.
Doesn't help either that there's the responsibility now of ensuring Sora and Arin (and Riyu) are safe as well.
And the moment I want to see him have an anger or emotional outburst is in a scenario where Nya makes a one off comment about Kai being overbearing and protective of them.
And Kai just snaps at Nya.
He goes on a large fucking tangent about how he's always had to stay calm in clearly shitty situations, because they as a group just keep getting separated time and time and time again, danger around the corner at any given moment and he's tired of it.
And it would especially hurt him that the comment comes from Nya out of all people, because not too long ago she was still one with the sea, he had to sacrifice his entire childhood just to raise and protect her, and he knows to respect her boundaries and beliefs but in his mind the last time he went too soft it ended up with her sacrificing herself for them.
And he doesn't want to go soft nor can he because at any given moment, one of them could give their entire being just to save the others, and he's seen it way too many times, so he just can't.

GUYS. GUYS. 😭😭 Chongyun and Diona development, holy shit. Groundwork laid for more exploration of Chongyun's pure-yang spirit at some point, but anyway AAAA- he's finally becoming more appreciative of his condition, seeing it less as a curse, and perhaps a blessing, because of the possibility it was borne from love. His intense emotions, his ability to be the warmth in spiritual shadows, he's grateful at the idea that it's all borne from love, man. I'm. So normal right now. That was so beautiful. The music in that cutscene gave me chills.

I love the idea of a death wizard who parallels Malistaire pre-Sylvia’s death working together with Cyrus so much. Cyrus sees his brother in this child and it hurts because he misses his brother so much but it also worries him deeply. The wizard and Malistaire are so similar he can only hope that the trauma the wizard will have to live with after dragonspyre (and even more so after future worlds) will not make them into the man Malistaire is now. And really and truly, Malistaire is just a man overrun with grief over a loved one, which could so easily happen to the wizard. I think it would so interesting to see a villain arc very similar to Malistaires with the wizard

Opinion on Katniss Mom? I always see such a black and white discussion about her tbh
Then you'll be delighted to hear I find her pretty complicated!! She is doing her best, but obviously can't function properly when facing the real world. Her abandoning her daughters after the fathers' death and then abandoning Katniss after Prim's death is heartbreaking, but also infuriating, because she IS supposed to be a caretaker and if she did her job correctly Katniss would have never ended up the way she did. I found it pretty interesting how throughout books 2 and 3 adults around Katniss still treat her mom as the person who has custody over an underage girl, and she gets upset if that status is sidelined, but both Prim and Katniss know that her authority in their lives is mostly an illusion and they have to treat her carefully. And this reread I was pretty interested in how Katniss somehow exhibits behaviors that are very similar to her! All in all, a compelling mother-daughter relationship that makes me sad

someone said they might be trying to establish a basis to claim that Spock and Chapel were actually in a secret relationship all throughout TOS and that’s actually the most monumentally terrible idea i’ve ever heard
i hate you (whoever you are) for bringing that up in my tags and i also hate myself for never considering that possibility and now i can’t stop thinking about how terrible of an idea that would be if that’s where they’re actually planning on going with this
(even though i don’t think it would actually make any sense for that to be what they’re going for since they would still, presumably, have to break up for long enough for Christine to get engaged to Roger Korby but hey SNW has never let canon get in the way of their bad ideas before)
