The fit from dnd last night. I've been wearing cosplays to dnd lately, so yesterday I decided to cosplay the year 2014.

This outfit meant a lot to me because this is exactly how I wanted to look back in 2014, right down to the space buns and galaxy leggings. I went to a school with a uniform from Kindergarten to grade 12, so expressing myself through fashion was something I never really got to explore. These past couple years since I've been out of high school have been spent reexamining my wardrobe and the way I want to be seen by the world. I recently realized that not only did this mean I can dress according to my current style inspirations, but I can also dress the way I always wanted to when I was a kid. If only she could see me now.

This outfit was also partially spawned from the near-primal instinct of "Go on trip soon. Must not wear clothes will wear on trip." I was going through my closet looking for something to wear that I wouldn't be wearing on my trip to ECCC this week, and my galaxy leggings practically leapt at me. I figured why not go all out and make myself into the Tumblr girl of my dreams.
