six characters

i had such a hard time picking just six characters to highlight in this post because every single character in noxtms is absolutely amazing ! every day i wake up thankful to be a part of such a wonderful roleplay. and i consider myself incredibly lucky for the opportunity to roleplay with all of the wonderful characters. also, can it take a minute to highlight all the amazing takes on canons we’ve seen in this roleplay? truly amazing. 

marietta edgecome ( @sneakscar ) as played by bee. i don’t think i’ve ever played opposite of a marietta- at least not one that’s left such an impression on me ! like wow i just want to shower her and you with love and affection because you both deserve it ! 

avalon balinor ( @avalcn ) played by alyssa. of course no list can be complete without my gal lonnie. i’m not even sure where to start, so bear with me. but i mean whats not to love? a slytherin da member? it’s sexy. also lonnie might be the only character who actually likes each of my three boys (don’t fact check me) but thats jsut impressive. 

oriana trelawney ( @cvriousheart ) as played by chris. i’ll admit, i had a hard time deciding whether or not i wanted to include theora or oriana on this list but in the end orina won ! i just love them a lot. i really enjoyed seeing the interactions between oriana and sybill (may she rest in peace). and i haven’t even touched on the dynamic with oliver ! i’ll admit i was a bit skeptical when you suggested the roommates wc, but any doubts went out the window almost immediately! they’re such a fun pair. 

damien graves ( @chacswins ) as played by gia. what is there for me to say that you don’t already know? i love damien. like a lot. more than i can put into words. he’s just so complex. and i absolutely love the backstory you’ve created for him as well as the family dynamic (i mean duh- i am playing his mother) but !!! i truly look forward to his future happiness because he deserves it !! 

kenneth trower ( @thymetrowler ) as played by vee. okay, i may bit just a tad bias because kenneth is filling one of my wanted connections. but boy oh boy do i love him ! i love how you managed to take such a minor character and breathe life into him! it really shows just how talented you! 

amelia dolohov ( @rcveuse ) as played by saz. okay, i know i haven’t actually had a thread with amelia but that hasn’t stopped me from admiring her from afar! and i’m not just writing this because i’ll be playing her dad on lumos, though that is certainly a plus ! i am truly in love with this character that you’ve created and i am very excited to know more about her !

“cheers.” he gives a little jut of his chin in the others direction and downs the glass of wine served by madam rosmerta at the bar in one gulp. whether it’s of good quality or not doesn’t really register with him, nor would it - niko’s never cared for this particular brand of alcohol, and the only thing he really notices is the fact that it’s really rather bitter. makes sense. she wouldn’t make the good stuff the free drink of the evening. “fucking intolerable, isn’t it?” not the kindest thing to SAY when it’s a wake, but what do you expect? it’s actually rather impressive that niko has lasted the hour he has, and a true testament to how badly he’s suffering that he’s even saying all that much at all, “the whole fucking thing.”

dennis had always enjoyed flowers, which had been the motivating factor in his decision to purchase one for his date. there was no feeling quite like receiving a flower. not to mention, it could serve as an icebreaker if needed. however, beyond his appreciation of flowers, dennis lacked any real knowledge about them, meaning he had absolutely no clue what to get his date.

to make sure he wouldn’t be late, dennis arrived at the florist early. not knowing what to expect, he hoped that he would be able to get in and out without too much time passing. after all, he still had to get dressed. however, any worries he might have had disappeared the second he stepped inside the shop, a wide smile appearing on his face as he stopped to look at all of the flowers. 

however, while he normally would have taken a few minutes to take it all in, dennis was quick to focus as he began searching for an employee. “hello,” he greeted the first person wearing an apron that he came across, standing a polite distance as he waited for them to finish their task. “i was hoping you could help me with picking out a flower for a date-” he started to explain, trailing off as he realized who the employee was. “kenneth?” he asked, shock clearly present in his voice as his eyes widened, “i haven’t seen you in ages!” he exclaimed, quickly forgetting his purpose for being there as he rushed to embrace his friend. @thymetrowler​

“A drink, dear?” Molly held out a cup to Kenneth, a small smile to mean that she wouldn’t be offended if he didn’t take it. She had been going around to anyone she could to lighten the mood a bit, it was getting too gloomy for her liking. Reminded her too much of Fred’s memorial, she would do anything to not be reminded of that day. “You just looked sort of alone over here.”
