Okay, it’s not my entire vision, but I’m running on fumes to get this even this far - think I’m officially over it now, but enjoy a short mv about Lady Biri fighting some wyvern monstrosities

Please please I need more Tiamut. Like what would happen once you were in their grasp!
A/N: Ut somnium
Tumblr media
It was a love-hate relationship with having these brief periods of lucidity that would fly away in your dreams. One one hand, it reminded you that, at least for a moment, you could climb out of the pit of wonderful lies Tiamut meticulously crafted. On the other, it reminded you that escape was never going to be an option. That you would inexorably lose your grasp and fall back under the spell of sleep.
If being at the center of the Earth wasn’t a good enough prison, the silky golden strings of micro web that kept you eternally bound within Tiamut’s blissfully warm cocoon probably were. You’re not quite sure if your body can even move, even if it weren’t bound against a golden shoulder. You never quite exert yourself. You’re just too tired. Always, always tired, and it’s a shame your mind is beginning to submit to the feeling.
It’s the kind of tired that invites and comforts you. Like sleeping in the world’s comfiest bed with the finest weighted blanket and a comfortably full stomach. You can feel your will to stay awake crumbling already as Tiamut’s omnidirectional voice sings lullabies in languages you’ve never heard and melodies you’re not quite sure can be mouthed by a mortal tongue.
You’re not quite sure how Tiamut is keeping you alive down here, let alone tricking your body into thinking the billions of pounds of pressure and thousands of degrees of heat is a comfort rather than a fatality. You supposed that was the capability of a celestial, though.
Your eyes begin to droop, and another lie presents itself to you underneath your eyelids.
Sometimes you’re the ruler of a kingdom. Sometimes you’re a dragon or a space pirate. Always, Tiamut is the deus ex machina awaiting you in your wildest dreams with open arms, and always you gleefully accepted, ignorant and unaware that none of it is real.
Your eyes close, and you just forgot you went into the wrong room. Holding a duster, you sigh at yourself. How silly of you. Turning around within your house, you make way to dust off the living room. Your husband would be home soon, and you wanted to make sure everything was spotless. You hurry around the room, dusting the various items within it. The T.V, the lamp, even the golden retriever, who barks in surprise as you awaken him.
“Sorry, ____,” you giggle as you make your way around. Faintly, you wonder if Druig will stop by again begging for various ingredients for whatever dinner he and his wife Makkari cooked next over there. How strange the duo was, always in a quick jitter when they were around you.
After a few more double checks, the telltale rumble of an engine parking in the driveway warns you of Tiamut’s emergence into the house. You feel hornets in your stomach, and you jump with the excitement of them. Your dog does, too, deigning to leap up into golden arms of a figure that fills the doorway.
“Home to a wonderful house, dog, and most of all, my favorite sleepyhead in the world. Now, isn’t this just the dream?”

Marvel told Ryan Coogler the earthquake briefly reference in "Endgame" was just an Earthquake, and though fans have suspected it was a reference to Namor, he believes it was related to the emergence in "Eternals."
I like how much he thinks about these things.

Marvel supports women's rights. You can't change my mind after the Eternals movie.

They straight up aborted a celestial & left it's corpse to be a tourist attraction.

I saw multiple posts where people (either jokingly or not) comment on how, after the end of Eternals, there's the gigantic remains of Tiamut in the middle of the ocean, and yet other MCU movies barely acknowledge it.
However, I feel like it makes sense that this would get but a few mentions, for now. And there's three reasons why:
Phase 4 timeline is more flexible and malleable. Movies and shows can now be set in a range of time between "the Blip was barely a few weeks ago" and "it's been a few years already, people have moved on, or at least they tried". As a result, there's always the possibility that the final battle in Eternals had yet to occur in the timeline of another movie or show;
MCU movies don't always have to acknolwedge what is going on in other installments. First of all, the TV shows prior to Wandavision have mostly gone unmentioned in the MCU, but movies of the same phase rarely talked about what another hero has been doing. A big exception would be Phase 1 movies, but they were literally happening within the same week. In Phase 2, you didn't see The Winter Soldier mentioning what happened in Iron Man 3, for instance;
Movies and shows usually have those important and urgent events going on, so it makes sense that the heroes would focus on THAT and not to something that occurred on the other side of the World, assuming they're even on Earth. It would be like if one finds it weird how people involved in an anti-terrorism mission in the UK barely mention why a volcanic island suddenly showed up in the Pacific Ocean;
This, again, is just my opinion, so feel free to say more.

Hoje no 2⁰ episódio da série 'She-Hulk' tivemos easter-eggs sobre Wolverine e Eternos em artigos mostrados em um site: "Homem luta com garras de metal em briga de bar." Cannot believe the MCU said "well actually global warming happened in our universe because there's a Celestial being born in the planet and it generates a fuckton of heat", like, has nobody wondered why that specific volcano seems to generate the most heat? Volcano scientists all over the world must've been crazy for that one

A solid 8 1/2 out of 10. A highly enjoyable movie. But points are deducted for the fugly ass, talentless “actor” they saw fit to cast as Cupid.
