The monitor across the room began an uproar of sharp chimes and deep tones. Tifa lay lower in her bed and shut her eyes, and Arianna laid her head against the sheets and began to weep. Vance’s own monitor issued forth its own warnings, and his breaths became weaker and farther between. Noah gripped his hand tightly, and said something that he couldn’t hear. He managed to turn his head, smile, and murmur a quiet ‘I love you, my boy’ before his eyes shut, never to reopen.

They passed on the same night, buried together in the remains of Sector 7. 

The first time they were reunited, she didn’t recognize him. They passed one another on a subway platform, and he felt some connection with the woman that he would never be able to explain.

The next time, she wasn’t a she, and he was a dog. They stayed together until an accident split them apart again. He was laid to rest in the family yard, and she kept a picture of the them together for the rest of her life.

Sometimes he gave up hope that they would ever be together again. This time, he was studying linguistics, and he hadn’t found her in his thirty five years. He wondered at times if it was worth staving off any suitors in the hopes that they would be together; he’d known the company of others, but didn’t find anything as strong as the time she was his.

On his thirty-sixth birthday, he went to a bar, and saw her. She had a wedding ring on, a man on her arm, and despite that, the two recognized each other.

The rest of his life was spent wondering if he had simply missed an opportunity.

When they finally could be together again, he didn’t know. It had been so unassuming; two people bumping into each other in a grocery store, hitting it off, and going to dinner. Silver eyes and red ones met constantly, followed by nervous laughter and an unconscious desire to stay close to the other. He bought her a rose engagement ring; she thought of him whenever she looked up at the stars. 

Olivia was a student at a high-tier medical facility, developing a cure for diseases that caused poisoning of internal symptoms. William was a freelance artist, sculpting art for his home city out of scrap metal to produce floral designs. Her biggest achievement was a treatment method for muscular problems; his was an enormous display of metal lilies that had been shared on worldwide news. 

Their life was complicated when they started. William had to constantly duck out of Olivia’s dormitory, for they had serious security concerning confidential medical technology. She also was most often paying for things, since his money came in surges whenever a piece of his was bought. His parents had disowned him, touting that artists didn’t make any money; hers celebrated the good that their daughter had brought into the world.

The weekend Will met her parents, Olivia was nervous they would disregard his choice of profession. Instead, they welcomed him with open arms, cherishing the happiness that the two had brought one another.

She would always say that his art was like magic; he always said that she would beat up blood poisoning if she got the chance.

Somehow, they both said that there was something unseen that drew them together. 

Little did they know it hadn’t been the first time that had happened, and definitely wouldn’t be the last.

I love Noah’s armband for Aerith. I bet he grew up hearing so many stories about her.

Ah, my best friend, and one of the best OCs I’ve ever seen on tumblr. Way back in the day, we created a universe that spans a full family, friends, and life between our characters. It was at a time when OCs were very hated in the community, which is incredibly sad. I know they’ve been trying to come back every so often, and any time I see them on my dash, I explode with happiness. While our adventures continue beyond tumblr with our characters, they are still one of the best humans on this planet. I do hope that one day, the world can be exposed ro their brilliant writing and ideas again.

They write Freia so well as an OC and the writing helps to bring humor and entertainment to my own writing AND to Tifa’s life. Another writer that brings absolute silliness and humor to my life on here, they’re an incredible person and fantastic writer, even when their muse is a total oddball. We aren’t super close, but I love seeing them on my dash.

So this one is near and dear to my heart. Their spin on Repliku has meant a lot to my muse, and the mun is so sweet and darling. Kid introduced me to that character in general, before I really got to know the KH franchise so deeply. Kid also helped me develop Tifa’s motherly side, when there’s no Marlene and Denzel for her to interact with. I’ve always loved their dynamic and I love that Kid allows, again, for this universe to continue almost a decade after it began. I love the mun to pieces, too!

This mun wrote an amazing Zuko! This was someone who super indulged me in a weird pairing idea I had about Tifa and Zuko and it worked out so well. This was such an antsy lil bean and they did such a great job with him. I miss our interactions but really treasure that time, because it was incredibly fun and they were such a delight to write with.

Ah, another phenomenal writer! Her Tseng was absolutely amazing and this was another odd pairing I never thought I’d get behind. But we did it, and it was incredibly fun to do! Also, she’s an amazing artist (even worked on art for my wedding!). I miss interacting with her Tseng, though, but those interactions are lasting memories on my mind.

As part of the Tifance (Tifa x Vance) verse, there was a character made from a mutual friend named Ari (also known as Missie at the time). Honestly, any interactions with this mun was a treasure. She was a fantastic artist too, drawing a lot of wonderful artwork for me and Vance-mun. I really miss talking to her, and always enjoyed her shenanigans on the dash.))
