Tried to make the elder versions of the Newbies, Burbs, and Pleasants. I've always wondered what other people's personal canons were on them, since they've all passed away in TS2.

I've always imagined Bob and Betty went on to live in a retirement home after selling their house in SimLane, because Bob's health rather deteriorated and Betty was just stressed out. Her relationship with Brandi was always challenging because her own mother was tough on her, and she was concerned about Brandi marrying Skip as much as they liked him. Bob died first, and later on, Dustin was born around the same time as Betty's death of a stroke. Shame they never got to meet their grandkids.

For the Burbs, Brad always seemed older and he died after John and Jennifer got engaged. I'm happy to see that Tiffany lived to meet Lucy, as I imagine she'd be pretty old by then. I imagine her as a chainsmoking and sharp-tongued grandma. I like the Early Pleasantview canon of her, moving to the city again and all that.

Jeff and Diane Pleasant, too, apparently lived to see Angela and Lilith. But I imagine they'd be kind of distant to the grandkids. Jeff seemed to be tanner, so I guess they retired in a warmer climate. They died around the same time, but I dunno who'd go first--probably Jeff from his disappointment of not being able to go to Mars.

Aaah, Anon! I'm so sorry it took me forever to answer this, because it was so sweet and it's such a good ask and I wanted to give it a great answer and I forgot.

Short answer: all my mutuals' sims are adorable and I love them.

Long answer: So I literally kidnapped @pixeldolly's Fiona Merridew, and I'm obsessed with my deep-rooted horror of Larkin. I love @eulaliasims Gaius and Chiana and Theo, and Syx and Kaiden (beautiful tropical birb) and Carlos (perfect hair). @episims Hanna is one of my favorite sims of all time (I like robots) and Jonas has grown on me such slowly and so much (appropriate for a plant sim.) I would fight God herself for @dunne-ias's take on Nina Caliente if God and I weren't pals. I love how @nappe-plays-the-sims writes Candy Hart, and Lana's whole arc. (And Cyan Weiss). @vixsims's Brandi and Dina. @beikonsims's super cute roboticist, Arin Capp. Every weirdo in @mynameisquoi's game except Jack. Every chubby-cheeked toddler in @deedee-sims' Griffonmere. Dr. Gregory Occulus (thank for creating such a perfect being, @virtualpeople).The whole aesthetic vibe of every sim @simmer-until-tender makes. Soon little Tiffany Burb joined the family. John named her after his mother because she inherited her eyes. This will be the last of the super speedy 18hr pregnancies because I finally figured out how to adjust the pregnancy duration to the aging system I'm using.

Being a fortune sim Jen rolled the want to get back to work the minute Tiffany was born, so John was left to his own devices. He's a simple sim, when he isn't looking after Tiffany and Lucy he's birdwatching or doing the days crossword puzzle.
