Ask game:
LoV turned into pets and class 1A adopts them
1. It all started because Tomura was rude to a witch online. (Yes, the magical kind of witch. Even though this is a canon-adjacent quirks AU.) The witch cursed his entire family to turn into animals. Tomura thinks of the League of Villains as family, so...
2. Class 1-A is sent on a community service assignment at a local shelter, where they encounter adorable and grumpy animals they simply fall in love with at first sight and have to take home.
3. Tomura is an cute corgi who gets adopted by Izuku. Actually Tomura becomes astonishingly chill after turning into a dog and decides he likes lazing around all day. He has no interest in ever turning back into a human.
4. Toga turns into a yellow canary. She immediately starts following Izuku around after he arrives at the shelter and trying to peck him. But she gets adopted by Ochaco, who always wanted a bird. Toga continues to glomp Izuku at every chance, which Ochaco misinterprets as her pet trying to help her out with her crush.
5. Dabi is a gray-brown cat who gets adopted by Shouto. (Shouto believes he has a pet raccoon because of the markings under his eyes.) It was love at first sight for Shouto because he saw Dabi urinating on an Endeavor poster. Dabi tries to dislike Shouto but his fire side is just so comfortable. Shouto names him Phoenix because of his love of heat.
6. Spinner turns into a gecko lizard (of course) and gets taken home by Fumikage. Spinner is slightly terrified of birds in this form but Fumikage loves lizards.
7. Twice is a nervous chinchilla who got adopted by Kaminari and named "Pikachu." However, Bakugo ends up taking over primary duties caring and feeding for the chinchilla. Bakugo pretends to complain about it and cooks him gourmet meals.
8. Kurogiri turned into a black cat who got immediately snagged by Aizawa. Yamada and Midnight also dote on him. Sushi acts like he met an old friend.
9. Mr. Compress transformed into a magpie and latched onto Momo because she is always wearing shiny jewelry. He steals items from all over her house, and she thinks that it's adorable.
10. Magne turned into an energetic German shepherd and got adopted by Mina, who has plenty of energy for a big dog.
11. Gigantomachia got turned into a tiger. Hitoshi adopted him and brainwashed everyone into thinking that he's just a large cat.
12. Nezu is not happy to have so many cats in his school. Through his information sources, Nezu also realized what happened to the LOV so he's forced to tolerate them in order to keep them under his supervision.
12. Mineta is allergic to cats.
13. Shouto comes up with a conspiracy theory that these animals, who seem unusually intelligent, are actually manifestations of the ghosts living in Izuku's quirk. He thinks that Tomura is Yoichi and Dabi is En.
14. Unfortunately for AFO, Tomura thinks of him like family. So he got transformed into the world's ugliest hairless blind cat with a scarred face. Even more unfortunately for AFO, All Might takes one look at the most pathetic and unadoptable animal in the shelter, and his hero instincts activate. All Might adopts Cat for One and names him Nana. (Shouto convinced All Might to use the name even though All Might does not seriously believe his conspiracy theory.) No matter how AFO tries to attack and claw him, All Might only thinks that he needs more love and affection.
15. The witch's curse wears off if the villains sincerely reform. Which means that there is hope for the rest of the league, but All for One is going to be stuck as a cat forever.

I don't know why people still freak out about deaths here, it's like they forget this is a shonen death has no meaning if you're even slightly important. I'd love it if horikoshi stopped with these fake outs and let one death actually stick but we all know that isn't gonna happen. I don't doubt horikoshi will undermine this moment in any number of ways. Kurogiri still kicking around with warp, kamui woods, tiger, tsu, jiro, any number of heroes who can get help to them or get them to help. Hell a rescue hero could show up, maybe hawks helps. If someone else gives some blood too no one has to die. She could somehow get super regeneration since we got 2 afos on the field. Eri could Rewind her, we always got eri. And it doesn't even have to be as complicated as that, the clones are gone the news is watching so maybe just medics show up and save everyone. The point stands even if they completely destroy toga I won't believe she's dead till the Mangas over. So until then, regardless of what we hope, we can assume she's alive and well.
I think the biggest argument in this case is that Toga's death doesn't make sense for the story. If Toga dies here, the new gen didn't really achieve anything important.
Toga's self-sacrifice is needed the same way Bakugou needed his "Rising" moment. It's a pay-off to show that approaching villains who show no remorse with compassion can save their hearts and not just neutralize them but turn them from a force of destruction to a force of good. They can become society's strength if they are given a chance, which should make the adults reflect if the way they've approached hero society was the right way.
If Toga dies here, it's a failure for Ochako and in the end proves that her method and Hawks' lead to the same result.
If the first war was about both sides going all out the "old way" and both sides really losing, then the second war is about the ideals the story expanded on mostly through Deku's and Bakugou's arcs - "save them all" and "complete victory with no losses".
These are the pure ideals they represent which go beyond even All Might's achievement. It's these ideals being put to the test in a society that's changing - where everyone is going plus ultra to save the ones they can reach, where formerly complacent civilians are taking action, where pragmatism is thrown into the wind to be replaced by idealism and optimism. And it's the kind of story that will prove its child protagonists right in the end and have them inspire everyone around them.
Trying your absolute best and still just ending in tragedy is not particularly inspirational and would be abandoning the themes the story developed.

I thought you once said that you wanna know about Japanese MHA fandom meta discussion, so sorry for bad English beforehand. Regarding latest chapter, among some talk about Toga/Ochako fight and Hawks' battered stubborness condition, some portion of MHA japan fans talked about Pixie Bob and Tiger called each other by their real name instead of hero name. Those discussions (in twitter) pointed out that moment as emphasis of Ryuko and Yawara deep bond and portray how desperate and cornered they are in their situation. The "real name" talk also being pointed out more in Japanese MHA fandom, like when Jeanist called Edgeshot real name before he became Kacchan's heart. Maybe because Japan culture and perhaps Asian too is more reserved from using name instead of title (like to big bro, senior, fellow coworker, etc) than Western, so for us that moment is a big deal especially when it was used by adult heroes. This is a difference between 2 part of the same fandom that I found interesting. Also since for heroes in MHA real name is used at the most cornered and desperate moment, makes Hawks' situation that he abandoned his real name more horrible. Real name who is the sign of vulnerability and non professional bond is embarassing weakness for Hawks. Also when for other the real name was used when the caller feels the most concerned/cared toward the receiver, when Hawks was called by his real name in manga means something bad will happen to him, his wing got burned, his dad hit him, his mom ratted him out and use his name on goodby letter, Sad Man Parade came to Gunga and AFO called him Takami, I wish someday someone will call his real name with the feeling of utmost concern for him as person just like others.
お手を煩わせてすみません。あなたはいいなブログをお持ちで、私は大ファンです
This is really fascinating and thank you for this ask, as it gave me a lot of things to think on! Also please don't stress about your English; it means a lot to me you still sent an ask in! Like most English-readers, I absolutely glossed over the fact Pixie Bob and Tiger called each other their real names! It makes complete sense for this scene to have weight in Japan given the cultural context. Other cultures have similar things where full names are used only or names + patronymics. My mother has a story where she hung up on one of her mother's coworkers/friends because the friend, thinking it was my grandmother who picked up the phone, began the conversation with my grandmother's diminutive name (informal name) and with the informal "you" in our language (incredibly rude back in the 60s) and so my mom was so flustered she said the person got the wrong number and hung up. Directly addressing someone informally is fairly unusual in a lot of cultures, more so in Japanese. They used each other's first names, too, which is really familiar. You can tell the Pussycats have been childhood friends. I'm saving a lot of my thoughts on this for an essay on Toga and what I think she represents, but I was watching a series called "Cooking for the Makanai" and it really startled me how indirectly feelings were expressed even between two people who have a relationship, to the point where the cliche phrase of "The Moon is Beautiful", which was coined as a way to avoid saying "I like you", was still seen as incredibly strong. Graduation Day talks about this more, but I really find it fascinating that Japan places so much importance on directness and vulnerability in conversation. As an outsider, to me it seems like there's an effort made through the language to minimize risk and hurt feelings by "softening" and "not directing" the language.
Anyway, back to Hawks. Yes, and names are absolutely important to identity which is I think why Keigo's got so much trouble with this. His name is not his and also he doesn't associate it with good things in the first place. With regards to "Takami Keigo" Hawks is both fleeing the connections and memories that name comes with and also fleeing the vulnerability he'll have to accept by having a name and identity outside of Hawks. "Wing Hero Hawks" is a safety blanket at this point, a way to not take accountability for his own life and also question what in life he can and should change. I do wonder if we'll have him end the manga with accepting being called Keigo. Truthfully, I don't know. Part of me thinks he'll go look for his family after the war, but I don't know. If it happens, he'll definitely start using Keigo again. But to have someone call him Keigo and treat him like a person requires Keigo to believe he's worthy of that. At the moment he's not able to think like that.
Thank you for the ask again. I love hearing about what the Japanese fandom is discussing!

Okay since I just posted I also remembered another that I haven't gotten around to uploading so here's the second!
Tumblr media
This official art I decided to pick out two obvious students, katsuki and izuku. So I think this is rather interesting.
Tumblr media
This is what lions symbolise, the meaning has a lot of references to what we've seen katsuki do or has been displayed in the show such as courage and strength, those are easy pointers and don't need much explanation but then we have - "The KING of beasts." it's like that ending scene we seen in was it s2? It was a fantasy au of class 1a, and in this we see katsuki on a dragon in all very charming clothing making him look like a king and majestic. And lastly it describes "commonly related to the Great Mother and protection."
The main word I want you to focus on is protection since there's also many times katsuki has protected people such as kicking jirou out the way of an attack or the very popular one saving izuku from being impaled. The description matches up very well doesn't it?
Well let's move onto what tigers symbolise..
Tumblr media
More obvious pointers that fit izuku 💯 are strength and independence there's also no need to explain that. But then we see majesty and immortality?
Now nowhere in the show has izuku taken any role of playing anything/anyone majestic. So that can be taken out, but the next word that can completely change the meaning is immortality because, we know he isn't immortal.. Right?
We can't actually say for 100% that he isn't immortal, it hasn't been proved anywhere that he is nor isn't so now the next best thing we can look at is relatives more closely parents. Not to be rude but inko can be easily overlooked, but I'd like to talk about his father - hisashi midoriya, the most mysterious man of the show. Now on here we are all very common with the theory of all for one being his father. And that's the main point I'm trying to nudge towards to also. We can class afo as immortal because he's passed the standard mortal age and the description also fits him quite well you know - strength, cunning, majesty, independence and immortality.
So what I'm trying to say is that because majesty and immortality supposedly don't fit izuku what if they are inherited into him? So he's classed as majesty because he's the Demon Lords son and he will be proven immortal when the time comes?
I feel that this could be a good hint also, so far I haven't seen anyone mention any of this so I'd like to know others opinions!

"Whatcha got there, buddy?"
"Blocks."
"Alright..."
When you think about it, all the times AFO refers to comic books and play games with people, he really is like a kid at heart!

Kurogiri, you must be the one who hold the brain cells. My man don't get paid enough for this. Also, love this shot of him!

Idea: OFA users as big cats in a big cat sanctuary.
The different OFA users are different kinds of big cats, and Izuku works there when he’s not doing schoolwork. All Might is an African Lion that is protective of Izuku, like he’s his cub.Nana Shimura would be a big ol Panther that takes care of any new cubs in the sanctuary, like when All Might was taken there after he lost his parents.Other users, like Shinomori for example, would be a Snow Leopard.
Oooh this would be really fun, like it would be part of the zoo au that Horikoshi drew.
- Izuku would run the big cat sanctuary.
- both Yagi(the resident African lion) and Hisashi((afo) one of the resident white tiger) both treat Izuku like their cub.
- Yagi and Hisashi can't stand each other.

Cruella De Vil AU! Does Yoichi get mistaken for a sickly cub and gets adopted by a bunch of white tigers?
For new people the premise of this AU is that AFO is an ordinary if corrupt fashion CEO obsessed with making a coat from a white tiger. Your idea actually ties in very well with the events as I imagined them:
-AFO sends his minions to the jungle to hunt the tiger because he's way too important to do it himself. The minions are Machia and Garaki and they can't stand each other.
-Yoichi shows up just behind them to warn park ranger Second about the tiger poachers. Then Yoichi insists on coming along to stop them. Second tries to dissuade him, but Yoichi says he will go into the jungle himself if Second doesn't let him come along. Second considers how much trouble it would be if a Japanese tourist died in the jungle and reluctantly agrees.
-Yoichi thinks that he knows all about wilderness survival from his comics. In fact, Yoichi's comics taught him useless stuff like "moss grows on the north sides of trees" and nothing about proper footwear for jungles or that monkeys bite if you try to pet them. In most of my AUs, Second immediately simps over Yoichi. But this is the AU where Second spends the whole trip longing to ship Yoichi back to Japan in a cardboard box. Yoichi thinks that park rangers are amazingly cool and spends the whole trip trying and miserably failing to impress his new crush. (It's okay, Second will eventually start to find the stupidity endearing. Yoichi is lucky that he is pretty.)
-Second gets in a pitched battle with poachers Garaki and Machia. He's down with a bullet in the shoulder, then Yoichi uses a hairspray and matches to create a miniature flamethrower and send the poachers' jeep over a cliff. This is the moment when Second falls in love. Unfortunately Yoichi falls off the cliff too.
-When a very worried Second tracks Yoichi down, he's in a cave surrounded by two mated female tigers and their cubs. Yoichi believes that his awesome comic book wilderness abilities have successfully tamed the tigers. Actually the tigers have mistaken him for a sickly cub and are trying to nurse him back to health. (Yes, I know this is not how tigers work but this is crack.)
-The tigers are Second's adopted family. He was raised by tigers in the jungle since he was a baby Mowgli-style, and the tigers adopted Yoichi partly because he smells like their son/big brother. (This is the rare AU where Second is not afraid of cats, but cats are afraid of him because he smells like tiger.) Second spends a lot of time persuading his Moms to let Yoichi go by promising to look after the weak little cub and bring him for visits.
-Yoichi sends his big brother lots of pictures posing with tigers and brags about how having a living tiger is way cooler than a coat. This launches AFO's epic obsession with getting a pet white tiger. Which is at least better than him trying to kill tigers, so...happy ending?

MHA Ch. 375 leak reactions:
Toga yoinked Izuku through a portal at the start of this battle to make him be near her, yet Toga cut Ochako’s wires to prevent Ochako from following though a portal and being near her.
Last chapter we had Toya give up on killing Shoto (which seemed to be his goal), and this chapter we see Toga give up on talking about love with Ochako (which seemed to be her goal). Toya and Toga are rapidly spiraling into little more than revenge and self-destruction, and they desperately need help.
Bless Tsu for her quick wits and practicality. Go talk about love and stuff, you crazy kids! (But seriously, it’s good for Toga to see that she has someone in her life who WANTS to be close without needing to be deceived or forced.)
Love how the “butterfly effect” references both Hawks’s past actions (killing Twice with his wing feathers) leading to Toga unleashing Sad Man’s Parade now, and also the weather changing far away (US and Japan).
It’s not just Rewound AFO, Toya, Toga, Endeavor, Hawks, Ochako, and Komori at this battle. There’s also Kamui Woods, Tiger, Pixie Bob, Shishido, Tokoyami, and Jiro!

Serious question not trying to troll you or anything 😭 but on that AFO art you reblogged you put in the tags "the tiger one <3 <3 <3" are you implying you're simping over AFO in that picture (big if true) or you just find it cool??
... You do know you can like art without simping for the character in it, right?
And in this case, I adore all of Redoaktreehill's art but the one with AFO and his tiger is really really really really cool.

I always see a lot of people draw AFO with a white tiger, is the tiger his bestie or what?
Honestly I have no clue where it came from. I've seen art, I know Katydid uses it in fics too but couldn't tell you why. Maybe it's just the white hair thing?

I just realized that Mirko should have been brought in for the Yakuza raid: back in Hero school she used to fight in underground clubs as "Tiger Bunny" (though everyone recognized her immediately as the kid that used a different ring name until the police caught her and made her choose between jail and Hero school) and got on friendly terms with both Rappa and the future Knuckleduster right on the night AfO stole the latter's Quirk, and Nighteye knows that due All Might getting called in by the cops the moment too weird things started happening and "Tiger Bunny" and Rappa helping O'Clock evacuating everyone.
Damn, Nighteye really dropped the ball there...
Nighteye is astoundingly bad at every single aspect of his job.
