hihi tee, genuine question: why don't creators (or just you personally) like their work recommended on other platforms like tiktok?

hi !! mainly bc those platforms are crawling with minors who will see the nsfw content and come running. it also creates a big chunk of ppl being sent over to ur page (since tik toks can quite literally blow up over night to millions of views) and ppl on tik tok are not very kind to the fanfic and especially nsfw / dc fanfic community, even the adults, so it’s just rly likely that a blown up tik tok can send a lot of problems if that makes sense. just rly stressful and not very fun to deal with

#if u were here on tumblr in 2021 haikyuu era #when the oikawa fic deciphered on ao3 was trending everywhere #and saw how that fic ended up #that’s pretty much the answer #now granted the author did have some serious faults #it blew way out of proportion bc there were literally hundreds of thousands of ppl who were coming after her and her fic bc it blew up #so much from tik tok

So actually I was trying to find some merch haikyuu and I found some doujinshi AND OMG it brings very old and bad memories lol

Yeah today's subject is haikyuu doujinshi in 2020/2021 (lol it sounds too serious when it’s just about weird fan creation)

So basically if you were on tik tok back in 2020/2021 yk that haikyuu was very famous at that time and because of that the fandom created a lot of things like dance, fan merch, very pretty cosplay, a trend were people act like playing volleyball was that serious and you say goodbye to your favour character with the haikyuu opening in the background…. Yeah I could do a post about this funny time but it would be kind of bullying and I don't want that lol yeah also the fandom has that whole area where it was very NSFW and corny and both of these areas got in common fanfiction (obv but not the subject) and doujinshi

The corny part :

So like I said before I found out people selling doujinshi so you kinda had to be there and chronically online to know what I’m talking about but back in the day a few TikTok accounts appeared and they were reading and translating those mangas were it was just some x reader thing nothing harmful just kinda silly now that I think about it

This is probably the most famous corny doujin I don’t really remember the story behind just that some could be a little bit spicy but I don't really remember just that most of the people who watch it were delusional

Now…. Let’s talk about the corn doujin (don’t worry i’m not gonna say some outrageous thing)

Ok so tik Tok anime was known to put corn in front of really young audiences cause idk I forgot why they decided to do that I guess to destroy your innocence like Bronny fan did first but some doujin ended up being famous in the haikyuu gameplay don’t remember the name and if I did I would NOT share it cause yes scare stuff like that is bad basically it was bokuto, akaashi, tsuki and kuroo playing twister in a bed and yeah I saw that when I was 13…. Anyway that thing could stopped there but the fandom talked about it for like 2 weeks and they even wrote some FF about this ship nothing wrong with polygamy just that the fandom made the whole ship super weird and it was just “yeah let’s play Twister every sec of the day” (not sure hypersexual content is a very good representation) when I think about this I also think about this zoo fanfic that was very NSFW but I feel like it wasn't that famous so I can’t really yappe about it and you guys doesn't miss nothing trust me also I like to believe that the ship Tsuki kuroo came from here or at least it get more popular because of that doujin idk

This post is so long but I have no one to talk about that thing might start a podcast

I just hope my English wasn't that broken

....He was over at your house you've known him for about your whole life he was your brother's bestfriend he came over a lot and you may have developed a small crush on him everytime your brother goes to meet him you would tag along like a puppy eventually you came up with a plan he was after all in the same grade as u so you planned to have "study sessions " when in reality it would just be you staring at him with heart eyes

and he came over to "study" yet, here you two are lying against the sofa watching tiktok as you like the videos and he scrolls ...u didn't plan it out to be like this but you aren't complaining as your thinking about it munching chips next to him shoulders meeting while he's resting his chin on his hand , the other hand scrolls to the next tik tok while your hand deep in the chip bag searching for the crumbs you noticed a small text in the middle of the screen , you squinting to see the small text written u leaned closer to the phone and so did he..u were trynna make out what the text said when felt a sudden tug of your hair that suprised you

"ouch!"

You tried to pull harder but it pained more ,u turned ur torso aound

"shorty stop squirmin' around what happened?"

"My hairr..it got stuck somewhere"

He sifts through and found that your hair got stuck on his button he intently watches as you desperately lean closer and closer to him fiddling with the button to get your hair out your hands were so fast in movement he tried to help as well until in a soft whispered voice you suggeted

"can i..open the button?"

"yea..."

He said bearly heard

He wanted to play it off but with inches between u both he can't think straight you looked good ....you always have ...has he always thought of you like this?

"i got it out"

You sighed until u realized you were to him limbs tangled torso on his chest making eye oh how girls would kill to be in your spot you were breathing heavily you heard his heartbeat

You felt his hands slither to your waist securing you as he brushes your hair to the side there was a thick wall of tension built up your faces were so close...you look up to him with doe eyes he noticed your eyes moving to his lips dammit neither of you can process and suddenly he pulls you closer and in asoft murmur he asks

"can i kiss you..?"

Without a second thought your hand grabs a lock of his hair and u gently tug him into a kiss

(which may or may not have turned into a makeout sesh)

Just crossing your fingers that your brother dosent walk in
