You were standing in the refrigerated section looking at egg prices, maybe you didn’t need eggs, you can go without eggs right? What are you thinking of course you need eggs.

You had been standing there for a few minutes, debating with yourself when and idea popped into you mind. Simon had stopped in the office supplies but told you to go ahead, probably trying to keep the trip as short as possible but you were feeling devious so you pulled out you phone and sent a text. It was short but it would undoubtedly be entertaining.

“Babe. Someone guy is trying to flirt with me by the eggs”

The read message can almost immediately and you felt a small rush as it did.

After a moment you could hear the stomping footsteps of your boyfriend coming nearer.

You could hear him round the corner and waited until he was standing next you and almost growls

“Where?”

“Do you think we need eggs? I mean I know we eat them but that much for a dozen eggs?”

Looking up at him you resist the urge to smile at the skull decorated face mask that you loved

“Fuck the eggs Love. Where is he?”

He’s towering over you now. Looking down with a look in his eyes that you knew was usually reserved for his work

“Who?”

The facade you had been holding breaks and a smile spreads across your face. You rise to your top toes and manage to kiss his chin through his mask.

“I’m kidding. There isn’t one. I just wanted to see your reaction. But seriously. The eggs, they’re crazy expensive what do you think? Did you find what you were looking for in the office supplies?”

He sighs, closing his eyes for a moment hand moving to drop a pack of pens and a moleskin pocket notebook in the cart. Before grabbing a carton of eggs out of the refrigerator and checking that none of them were cracked before putting them in the cart.

“You’re gonna be the death of me”

first ship: Akigure from “Fruits Basket”. I have an ongoing interest in Bad Decision™ characters. Akito deals with upholding ridiculous family standards while being raised as a gender she is not, which does not excuse her behavior but I related to it. Made me question homophobia, then made me question if I was gay. I can’t really explain my interest in Shigure. I assume it’s the concept of someone who is willing to do terrible things in order to help the person they love fit snuggly with the trauma I had experienced and who I thought I was. They are not a healthy couple but they are canon and I was smitten. 

last song: “Virtute the Cat Explains Her Departure” was playing but that’s behind glass that says “Break in Case of Fire” so now it’s Shostakovich’s Jazz Suite. Spark joy, Shosty! 

last movie: Everything Everywhere All At Once. My cousin told me to watch it and she was (as always) right. Really spectacular. I cried twice!

Since we are doing death predictions in the fandom, for some odd reason, here are a few I think might be on the chopping block.

🦅Lyle Wainfleet- He has to atone in some way for the death of Neteyam, how do most villains get their last redemption? Death, saving someone else, my guess will be Spider or Quaritch.

🦋Norm Spellman- My sweet boy. Like in the first movie, he will join Jake in the next big battle. His death will hurt and come as a major surprise. My guess is in Avatar 5.

🦋Max- He's worked from the inside of the RDA. Will moat likely be killed helping trying to move Na'vi tribes out of the battlefield. He may end up getting an Avatar body himself and if that's the case only the body will die.

🦋Tonowari or Ronal- Dying to protect their clan? Their children?

🦋Roxto- Because killing the sweetest characters hit the hardest. Take Neteyam for example.
