[ID: Seven drawings of Tim Stoker wearing entity-inspired button-down shirts all drawn from the waist up on a light pink background. He is a slim Latino man with light brown skin and a lilac mullet with the sides shaved, a small goatee, ear gauges, painted nails, and a wristwatch. All drawings have the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and some have him wearing rectangular purple glasses. His gauges and nails all match the shirts he's wearing.
The first image has two drawings. One of him wearing the glasses with a dark blue shirt with a purple flame coming up from the bottom. He is gesturing and smiling as if speaking. The other drawing is of him wearing a dark purple shirt with a swirling purple fractal on it. He is also wearing a dark magenta necktie. He is leaning on something with one elbow resting up high, gesturing and smiling smugly as if talking.
The second image has two drawings. One of him wearing a slightly unbuttoned bright orange shirt with pink paws all over it, raising his hands in a claw-like pose, and making a playful growling face. The other drawing is of him wearing the glasses, a muted pink shirt patterned with cartoon hams, and a white apron. He is standing with his back turned, mixing something in a large purple bowl with a wooden spoon, smiling over his shoulder.
The third image has two drawings. One of him wearing the glasses and a pale green shirt patterned with colorful gummy worms. He is smiling shyly with his shoulders up, one hand in his pocket, the other scratching the back of his neck. The other drawing is of him wearing the glasses and a bright green shirt with a repeating eye-like pattern on it and a black neck tie. The glasses obscure his eyes as he stares down at his purple phone, the other hand in his pocket. His expression is neutral.
The fourth image is a drawing of him wearing round sunglasses and a black shirt with a lightbulb on the pocket. The shirt is completely unbuttoned and half of it is tucked in, exposing his chest and stomach, including chest hair and top surgery scars under his pecs. He slouching back with a surprised expression with one hand raised by his chin, almost limp-wristed, the other in his pocket. end ID]
tim wears patterned shirts. what if they were vaguely entity themed.
(i am going to do the rest of the entities!! just wanted this up for tim stoker tuesday :3c)

Inspired by @anonymousalchemist's amazing Fic, a crack in the heart where the fear shines out. If you love the concept of Jon stumbling into Nightvale, definitely give it a read!
Comic Transcript Beneath the Cut:
[ID: Eight Page comic between Cecil, a radio host, and Jon, an archivist. Cecil is a white man with undercut, white hair, a slight build, wearing purple and white clothes. Jon is a brown man with shoulderlength, greying black hair, slight build, wearing green and black clothes. They hold their conversation in the recording studio of the Night Vale radio station.
CECIL: You look like you have questions. Listeners, my guest is standing over me right now. He mostly looks confused, and tired, and like has spent a long time with too little sleep and too much worry. And he looks angry. But not a hot anger, more like an anger like banked coals, or the anger of simmering water, formless and directed only by the vessel it is in.
JON: It’s—no. I don’t have a question. Well, I have a lot of questions, but, nevermind. Go on.
CECIL: No, go ahead! Ask.
JON: Alright, fine! I just don’t understand how you, well, how you have a boyfriend!
[Silence, but this time with a different energy]
CECIL: Well, there comes a time in every man’s life, when he sees a handsome scientist—
JON: Not like that! I mean like… I don’t understand how you are what you are and still...still have love? Still be capable of love? You’re the same as whatever I am, you’re more powerful than what I am, I’m pretty sure you’re also of the Eye, and you seem happy with it, which, great! Great for you! Great that you're having a great time! But how on earth does that square with having a boyfriend?
[Silence, with a third, entirely distinct energy]
CECIL: In the immortal words of one of the quintessential dance tunes from the 1990s performed by Haddaway, “What is love? Baby don’t hurt me.”
CECIL: What is love, listeners? What is it about the nature of love that makes the threat of harm so integral to its existence? If we were to pry open the human heart from its delicate cage and carefully carve into it with a scalpel, we would find no evidence of love. If I were to open my skull and scoop out the throbbing electric fat-and-protein jello that we call a brain, there would be no evidence of the feeling I have when Carlos smiles at me.
CECIL: And it was because of that love that when Carlos lay in Lane Five of the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex, when Carlos dove into the featureless black cubes that made up the condos, when Carlos was stranded in the desert otherworld, only reachable by call, text, or tumblr message, that I was afraid. That Carlos, perfectly imperfect Carlos, would be gone, only to exist in my memory, and that no amount of watching could save him. Love is not the antithesis of fear, listeners. It is the preamble to it.
CECIL: I broadcast these words to you at their pre-appointed times because I love Night Vale, just as many of you, sweet citizens, love Night Vale. And I broadcast because I fear for Night Vale. I fear, in the non-immortal words of my past self, for anyone caught between what they know and what they don’t yet know that they don’t know.
CECIL: The tragedy of our lives is that we are alive, and that our lives are so fleeting , the soap bubble of existence on top of a cruel and uncaring dimension full of untold horrors that invade our dreams and waking nightmares. But like a soap bubble, our lives are iridescent , and it is because of that fragility that they are.
CECIL: Do you have someone to hold at night? Pull them close, and fear for when they are gone. Be thankful you have someone to fear for.

[id: a five panel comic drawn digitally of jon sims, a black man with long curly hair pulled into a messy braid, and tim stoker, a filipino man with jaw-length dark brown hair, sides cut shorter in an undercut. the dialogue is formatted from a series of text messages.
in the first panel jon leans close to show tim his phone screen. jon says, “wanna see something.” and reveals a screenshot of an internet browser with 436 open tabs. he goes on to say, “look at this. i cant close any of them. i need them.”
in the second panel tim, looking concerned, says, “what the fuck is wrong with you.” jon, turning away from tim, replies, “so much.” tim says “too much?” and jon replies “i was vulnerable and opened my heart and my tabs to you. this is how you treat me.”
in the third panel, jon turns back towards tim suddenly, shoving his phone in tims face to reveal that he now has only 412 tabs open. he says, “will this make you love me? respect me?” while tim smiles slightly.
in the fourth panel, jon gestures as he rants, “i refuse to close my carcinisation tab.” tim replies, “your... what tab...” and jon responds, “crabs. they all become crabs in the end. going and going and going and suddenly! claws! little sideways walking! we all become crab.”
in the last panel, jon looks at his phone with a troubled expression while tim points at his screen. jon shows tim a screenshot of the wikipedia page for carcinisation and says, “evolution sometimes just takes a look at what we have become and simply decides that maybe it’s best if this one was a crab actually.” tim says, “now explain the other 411.” and jon responds, “no.” end id]

[ID: A digital fanart comic of The Magnus Archives. In it, Jon is a Sri Lankan man with brown skin and shoulder length black hair. He is wearing a teal jacket with a What The Ghost shirt and black trousers. Daisy is a white woman with black hair in a ponytail, wearing a white shirt and police vest. Martin is a Polish/Argentinian man with tanned skin and short brown hair and glasses, wearing a maroon hoodie and navy t-shirt. Basira is an Arab woman with brown skin and long black hair, wearing a brown jacket and teal turtle neck. Melanie is a Chinese woman with long bleach blond hair and black roots, wearing a black dress with translucent sleeves. Tim is a Malay man with tanned skin, and messy short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jacket.
On the first page, the first panel shows Jon talking on the phone, with illegible speech bubbles. Daisy takes notice of this. She enters a room containing the other assistants, and says "Someone ought to tell Sims to be a bit quieter when he's arguing with his..." the next speech bubble is over an image of the assistants looking up in surprise "girlfriend or whatever". Girlfriend is underlined.
Melanie responds "No that's-" but is cut off by Martin's larger, spiky speech bubble of "Girlfriend?? Daisy? Huh? What?". Basira interjects that "Wait does Jon have a girlfriend?" before Melanie slams her hand on the side of the panel she's in, yelling "He doesn't have a girlfriend! He was probably calling Georgie." She is visibly flushed.
Daisy looks frustrated and asks "Who's Georgie?". Melanie, now sweating, says "She's... She gave him a place to stay. They're just friends." Daisy's mouth has been erased for comic emphasis, and her eyebrows are a V shape. In the next panel she is more relaxed, saying "Oh. Yeah that makes more sense. Can't imagine he's taken right now." Basira is standing beside her, and Tim has appeared distantly behind them.
Tim then says "I mean..." and Daisy takes notice. He follows up with "He actually is, y'know. Somehow." All four assistants appear in the panel's corner with bulging eyes, exclaiming "What?!" in unison. Now Tim scratches the back of his neck, looking at Basira and saying "I thought you guys knew by now." Martin appears looming over him, with a spiked speech bubble saying "Know what, Tim?" Basira looks horrified as Tim gestures towards her and says "That you two are... you know." In a spiked speech bubble she then yells "What are you-" before cutting herself off and her face going blank, adding "Wait." She then looks annoyed, saying "Tim that... That was a lie Jon told you." Tim responds "...What?" and Basira says "Me and Jon never dated. He lied to cover up the fact that I was giving him evidence."
In the final page, Tim is alone in a box staring blankly ahead. As his co-workers say "...Tim? Tim are you alright?" "Tim?" and "Tim? Tim speak to us", the box he's in shatters like broken glass, leaving him standing in a white void. Still staring ahead, he simply says "I'm going to kill him." End ID]
Thoughts that occasionally plague my brain: we never see anyone actually tell Tim Jon and Basira aren't dating, ergo, I should make a very long comic about the dumbest way that could've happened <3 (also big thanks to Oran @radiosandrecordings for helping me w/ the ID)
