Regarding the recent post:

Killer Queen is too short ranged of a stand to affect most sleuths and it's not in Kira's character to drop Sheer Heart Attack at the police departament and hope.

Kira generally doesn't have many ways to deal with characters that: Work in teams. Work from far away. Have any sort of records showing that they're invastigating him.

The man had to be bailed out by Bites the Dust and still lost Most sleuths wouldn't even let Kira get away for long enough for him to aquire Bites the Dust so that's not even something to consider in most of these cases.

{But you're really ignoring one thing: It can't be detected by anyone but Stand Users. Why would they think they needed to investigate Yoshikage Kira specifically? There's no evidence of the killings, since in canon, even the police didn't try to investigate the mysterious disappearances. The sleuths would mostly not be able to understand that Killer Queen exists, and even if they assumed it was something supernatural, there's still no evidence. And the man managed to impersonate another man in front of his family, landlord, coworkers, and everyone who may have talked to Kosaku on the street, with only the man's child catching on. Had Hayato never thought to set up a camera in his parents' room, Kira would have never been caught at all. And Kira doing poorly against teams of people investigating him doesn't line up when he's gotten away from them twice (he would have escaped Jotaro and Koichi were it not for Act III, and he did escape the entire Duwang Gang when they were chasing him by severing his own hand), plus managing to keep his identity secret from EVERYONE except Hayato until the kid figured out how to use the time-loop to his advantage. You're right that most of the time Killer Queen wouldn't get to Bites the Dust, but it would be because Kira wouldn't need to. He has eliminated people in broad daylight before, and he could do so again when against someone who can't see Stands.}

It's always talked about how bad Leo must have suffered after the movie, after being thrown around and punched by the Krang.

But, what about the others. When you think about it, all of them should be broken down smothered in wounds and bruises, broken bones etc. Not just Leo.

Mikey and Donnie were gripped and squeezed by the Krang, and it was very clearly painful for the two of them. Then they were both flung and 'PUNCHED' by the Krang. Hard enough for them to be LAUNCHED from the ship. After that, the two of them should have suffered SOME broken bones or cracks in their shells. Like how people imagine post-movie Leo...

Then there's the end where Mikey opened the portal. In the future opening the portal was enough to completely destroy him. Yeah, I guess he had Raph and Donnie there this time, but he still did most of the heavy lifting.

I get that this movie was heavily based on Leo and his characterisation of growing up and into a leader, but I think the aftermath on the others is sometimes glossed over!

Leo wasn't the only one that nearly died. All four of them did. Which is even more heartbreaking

Okay, I know this was probably not meant to be harsh or heavily critical of my blog, but it felt very passive-aggressive.

Do I think the other turtles have suffered major trauma from the invasion? Yeah, of course.

Just because I focus on Leo doesn't mean I don't care about the other turtles, but Leo is my favorite and also the easiest for me to write, so, I write and draw a lot of Leo-centric stuff.

If you want angst and recovery arcs of the other turtles, there is content the focuses on that, but you probably won't find much here.

I don't want to come off as too harsh, but I'm not shy about Leo being my fav. At the end of the day, if you don't like my blog, you dont have to stay

I'll also say, I could have read the tone of this wrong, but I would still like this to be a PSA: Most of my content will be Leo-focused

I'm sure me reading thousands of words of fanfiction of how Sirius and James fuck really supports JK and her ideals. I don’t support her, I support fanfic writers that have nothing to do with her and she doesn’t get royalties from. You should be able to realise that I can have a nuanced relationship with media I enjoy and understand they’re problematic without pretending I never liked them. Supporting fanfiction is not supporting an author's political and social views? Why is that so hard to understand?

What do you want me to burn the books I already own from long before this all came out? Shall I throw my robes and perfectly functional jumpers in the trash? Who benefits there? why does no one tell you that once it finally hits you that you’re not in fact gonna die before some arbitrary deadline you’ve been adjusting since u were 12, you have to deal with that realization while also being continuously hit with the most gut wrenching existential dread you’ve ever felt in ur entire life…like you’re telling me that i’ve finally let go of the thought that i’m gonna die before im 15/18/21/25…and now i’m plagued by the reality that i have to somehow figure out how to deal with the next 50-70 years of existence and that at some point people i love that i never thought i would be here to see die are in fact going to die and i can’t do anything to stop it and im going to die at some point too probably in some way that hasn’t been planned by myself…and i’m just supposed to accept that and not be on the verge of a panic attack every second of the day??

it's... so hard to get back into art, when I only have a few hours to do anything, and I've worked on my feet lifting and moving stuff for a whole day already... I'm so tired...

#i dont even get sunlight besties #its a huge warehouse and im nowhere near the dock doors #i wake up i eat a few granola bars on my way to work #i work for 4 and a half hours i eat a quick meal #i work another 3 and a half i drive home #i shower and cook and eat dinner its midnight i turn on my computer #its 2am i get ready for bed i sleep maybe 7 hours and wake up tired #some nights i grab groceries which means i dont use the computer #on weekends i grab groceries and run errands #now ive added doing commissions to my weekends #i also catch up on sleep on weekends which means sleeping for 10 to 12 hours #rant in tags #thank u for reading about my woes im planning on moving in with friends sometime in jan and quitting my job to work part time instead
