Red Velvet 6th Member AU

A small snippet into Red Velvet’s first stage, all the way back in 2014

These past few months had gone by so fast. Not only had Jiwoo entered her dream company, but she had gotten chosen to debut in the final line up. For her it was a dream come true and she got to live it out with her new best friends! Now with her hair dyed orange and brown, she and the other members were ready to make their debut stage on Music Bank.

“Are you ready?” Wendy asked her, her nervousness showing through.

“I’m ready. I’ve been ready for this all my life!” Jiwoo said calmly, just wanting to take in her surroundings.

Joy walked up behind Jiwoo, hugging her from behind. “It’s a good thing that you’re short, Jiwoo Unnie, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to do this!”

The rest of the members laughed, while Jiwoo tried to look offended, even though she found the maknae’s humor amusing. 

“I am taller than both Seungwan and Joohyun unnie! Why are you picking on me?” Jiwoo asked her, only resulting in her getting hit by the 2 mentioned girls.

“You are literally 1 cm taller than me! That means next to nothing!” Irene told the younger girl. 

“Oh, I’m Sorry,” Jiwoo started. “What did you just say?”

“What?”

“I believe you just said that I am 1 cm taller than you. Did you hear that too Sooyoung?”

Joy hugged her tighter. “Do not drag me into your mess.”

Seulgi laughed at them, loving their antics and the way Jiwoo interacted with them. She found it hard to believe that a year ago, none of them knew Jiwoo and Seulgi was only really friends with Joohyun. Now, all of them were so close that they felt like a real family!

“Hey Seulgi!” Seulgi was snapped out of her daze when Jiwoo called her. “Do you plan on joining us over here or are you just going to stand there smiling like a cartoon character?”

Seulgi gave the older girl one of her famous eye smiles before running into her arms. Even if they weren’t that close, the smaller interactions made Seulgi feel so much love for their relationship.

“Girls, are you ready? You’re about to go on!” One of the backstage workers pointed out. The girls thanked him and made there way to the stage, knowing that this performance was going to be the start of something great!
