I'm 18, not unfriendly but a little off putting (as said by friends) , I'm a writer (prepping for nano these days), general scum bag, curly hair that I tend to as if it was a human child, a passion for the arts, I like going to shows and getting in the pit, younger siblings who own my heart, I like wandering in stores a lot.💖thanku

It was just a normal Saturday. Wondering through your favorite used book store fingers brushing against the spines of the millions of books that adored the warn wooden shelves. All their wrinkles and flaws some frayed at the end. It meant they had been loved. 

Kind of like you. 

“Sister, Sister,” your sibling said running up hugging you.

Yep loved. 

You could hear your siblings’ giggles echoing around the book store as they found their own treasures among the stacks of novels. You couldn’t help but laugh at the sound. So light and airy. Filled with joy.  

“I love that series,” A soft voice broke you out of your musings. Turning you were faced with a beautiful blue-eyed boy. Dressed in a dark leather jacket he was holding up a copy of Ender’s game nodding toward your copy of Speaker of the Dead and Ender’s Shadow.

“I haven’t decided which one to read next” You muttered looking over the book, “I know he wrote this one next but, this one is closer in the timeline.”  

“Humm” He looks them both over and shrugs, “I read them in the order written.”

“Then that’s what I will do,” you said putting it in your basket, “So what brings you to this fine establishment?” 

“Just looking for my next adventure.”

“Well, what are you feeling?” 

“I don’t know,” the blue-eyed boy looked around at the large shelves as if they would give him the answer he needed. “The worst part of finishing a series is that feeling of…”

“Not knowing what’s next?” He smiled at your response nodding, “Do you like fantasy?” you asked.

“Of course.”

“Have you tried Wheel of time yet?” 

“You know,” He paused leaning back slightly, “I have heard of it but haven’t started that one yet.”

“They are a commitment.” you giggled “But, if you hate ending things they won’t end anytime soon.”

“I’ll have to check it out.” 

“I was going to trade mine in but… here” you added it to him the bag of books you had been carrying. “You can have the first three” 

“Hey thanks”

“And…” you paused writing down your number on the bookmark you still had in the book. “Let me know what you think.”

“Jason” You looked up confused for a moment, “My name,” he said, ”It’s Jason

“Nice to meet you, Jason.”

I have a HP envy photo 7155, I've had it for a couple years now and it holds up. I mainly use it for scanning photos and film and it does pretty good for that stuff too :D

had a dream where high school musical was actually based on a YA romance book. Chad was the original main love interest, totally devoted to the main girl. The main girl was starting up a sports resort? Chad was very supportive. Troy was not a romantic rival but the character trying to get the main girl to realize that she was the perfect match for his friend.

In said dream people were also pissed that the movie had changed a lot of stuff and was on Disney channel.

I'm 19 and the youngest person at my workplace and nothing is more funny than my older co-workers assuming I don't know things.

"Oh ahah yeah there used to be this show called Americas funniest home videos, you'd have to like film on a camera and submit it to the show!"

And then when I tell them I also used to watch that show with my siblings they can not FATHOM it. Same with rotary phones or pagers or fax machines. Once I told my manager that I was thinking about getting a GameCube and the fear in his eyes when he realized I even knew what a GameCube was????

Like some of these co-workers I'm talking about are just in their 30s but some are older. Telling them that I've burned CDs or know what any piece of media that wasn't produced in the last like ten years is makes them combust. They just assume that all young people are totally wrapped up in phones and technology and know nothing of the time before Instagram.
