I Demagó esprimono, rappresentano ed armonizzano, attraverso un Hard-rock possente e molto elegante - debitore in parte dell'alt-rock italiano degli anni '90 del novecento - ed una scrittura degna della miglior tradizione cantautorale italiana (e non solo di matrice "rockettara"), angosce e speranze di universi individuali (anche qui, non esclusivamente osservanti. Del rock intendo.) in fondo senza tempo.

Senza conflitto...

Infatti, i piccoli o i grandi leviatani con cui si confrontano non sono molto dissimili da quelli che hanno afflitto le generazioni che li hanno preceduti e faranno tribolare - si spera - quelle che seguiranno.

...esiste speranza?

Tuttavia, note e parole del disco svelano anche un illustre ed efficace (quanto scontato, o forse no?) rimedio contro i leviatani, in giro tra alti e bassi dall'alba dei tempi (e forse per questo un po' logoro). Per sapere se dell'Amore o del ben volersi si tratti, prestate ascolto alle anime nella pioggia.

GB - The Demagó express, represent and harmonize, through a powerful and very elegant Hard-rock - indebted, in part, to the Italian alt-rock of the 90s of the twentieth century - and a writing worthy of the best songwriting tradition (not only of " rocker"), anxieties and hopes of individual universes (again, not exclusively observant. Of rock I mean.) ultimately timeless.

In fact, the small or large leviathans they are confronted with are not very different from those that have afflicted the generations that preceded them and will - hopefully - torment those that will follow.

However, the notes and words of the disc also reveal an illustrious and effective (and obvious, or maybe not?) remedy against the leviathans, around between ups and downs since the dawn of time (and perhaps for this reason a little worn out). To find out if it's Love or good will, listen to the souls in the rain.

18. “I’ve never been there. Wanna go?”

Minthe had been idly tracing the freshly formed scales on Timoria's hands when she realized she had stopped listening to her entirely.

"Oh, uh, sorry. What was that last bit?" she asked.

Mori gave a small snort and shook her head. "I said I've never actually been to Ur. They say there's all sorts of crocodilians there - some with stranger scutes than I've ever imagined. And the people there don't seem to mind the large creatures. I'm wondering if it's their control of magic that saves them, or if they've learned to coexist with them naturally. They've also got a lot of different spices there."

"Mmm. Sounds fun."

"Wanna come with me?" Mori tilted her head and smiled.

Minthe was caught on the sweet expression of her friend. "Uhh..."

"You don't have to make a decision right now. It's just that you don't really leave Amaurot all that much. I mean, none of you do. It's weird." Mori crinkled her nose at that last bit.

"Well, we're all just so busy. It's not like Ariadne can just leave her students without a teacher or anything." Minthe shrugged.

"Yes, but didn't you take your job to be, oh, what was it you said... 'unfettered'?"

Minthe paused at that. That was why she was only a consultant rather than a full concept creator, wasn't it? That way she wouldn't have to go to Elpis to nurture her ideas - someone else could do that when they visited their concept that had her various compounds.

She stiffened when she felt something wrap around her waist. Minthe glanced down to see that Mori had wrapped a newly grown tail around her and sighed in relief.

"Honestly, travel might do me some good. Even though I'm not with Hades anymore, I still feel like I'm in his echo-chamber." Minthe started tracing various scales on Mori's tail. 

"Perfect. This means I win the bet with Kyth. Unless he found someone to take with him already..."

"Is that why you invited me over tonight?" Minthe asked in mock outrage. "To try and win a bet? And here I thought you actually liked me."

"Oh, winning the bet is just a perk. No one admires my scales and horns quite like you do, Minthe," Mori said, pulling Minthe closer with her tail. Minthe giggled at the sensation of being manhandled by the smaller woman and started to admire the new scales on Mori's neck with her lips.
