like whats soooooo interesting to me about jimins music specifically is how it just fractures this idea of duality that a lot of fans are really obsessed with. that jimin is either cute or hot, that hes either sweet or snarky etc etc like how many 10+ minute youtube videos are there out there about his duality how many twitter essays and texts posts about the whiplash. meanwhile his actual music absolutely refuses to be about one or the other. the perspective in his songs are always warped. there is no line. not between audience and performer, listener and teller, other and self. to say filter or like crazy of set me free pt 2 are about one sole thing is totally reductive to the internal narrative of each song and the dramatic powerplay that happens within them between fan/artist/persona. its the fragmentation of identity refracted into endless points of view and motivations and desires in each track its. kind of crazy.

Had a blast today at a lolita meetup! I like lolita conceptually but have been having a really hard time putting together coords so I cobbled together an Ouji look this time and LOVED IT. It came together much easier and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked how I looked in pictures. I would like to pursue ouji more and do more intricate looks!
