Titans blackfire

The sisterly reunion quickly escalated into a brawl with Starfire gaining the upper hand and seemingly knocking her elder sister out cold. Stating that imprisonment on such a "backwater planet" is dishonorable, Blackfire had told her sister to do away with her, but Kory refused. Once Kory and Garfield had discovered the underground facility, Blackfire and Starfire had a talk about the other always having one up over the other ever since their girlhood. Despite her weakened and powerless state, the rogue tamaranean princess still managed to activate some of her natural mental/psionic/extrasensory abilities to implant visions of her whereabouts into her younger sister's mind and take over her for a time. Three months later, Blackfire was overpowered and detained by Earth's scientists due to her hostile, sadistic nature. As the woman's body started morphing into Blackfire, a man was going to tell her about the cart, only to be punched back by her fist, then she makes her eyes glow lavender for a moment before she walks away with an evil smile. Arrival on Earth Īfter a human woman puts her kids in the car and prepares to put her groceries in the trunk, Blackfire uses tamaranean-tech to possess her body. Claiming she now found her own family, she welcomed Kory's threats. She revealed that she claimed the throne for herself and murdered their parents. Eventually, Blackfire was discovered, which ultimately caused the mercy killing of Faddei. Imposing as Faddei, Blackfire attempted to convince Kory to return to Tamaran to possibly rule as queens together. When the mission became prolonged due to unknown circumstances, Blackfire took matters into her own hands using deadly Tamaranean-tech to possess Faddei's body. The search for Koriand'r īlackfire's hologram speaks to Kory on Earth.įollowing the high demand that her sister claim the throne, Blackfire sent Faddei to Earth to retrieve Kory and bring her back to Tamaran. There was also a time when she found out about Kory's relationship with a royal guard, Faddei, and nearly had him castrated. She had difficulties making friends and was often made fun of, especially by her sister.īecause the royal ability to absorb and project fire was secretly removed from her, she was often underestimated and spent a majority of her life in her sister's shadow. Despite this, Blackfire did not feel loved by her family or people. Both sisters grew up in a royal family and lived customarily privileged lives, complete with servants. In order to maintain the deception, the king had ordered a Tamaranean priestess to magically take the fire abilities from Komand'r and give it to Koriand'r.ĭue to the elaborate lie created by her father, Komand'r endured a rather unfair childhood with her sister. Prior to Komand'r's birth, King Myand'r had deceptively declared that Komand'r's older sister, Koriand'r, had been born with fire abilities and thus was the rightful successor to the throne to dissuade revolution from challengers. Like the rest of her lineage, she had the royal ability of fire. Komand'r was the second child of King Myand'r and Queen Luand'r, in either 1994 or 1995.

It all started when Dani was known as a villain who fought against the Young Justice and Teen Titans, and Danny learned about it.

Let's say he wasn't happy and made his way to the Justice League reporting station to report the error.

So while there, Danny has a massive argument about why Dani isn't a villain, but the Young Justice and Teen Titans are the villains.

And showed a PowerPoint presentation about why Dani can't be a villain.

1 She is adorable.

2 She is my baby girl.

3 She can't do wrong.

4 She is a good girl.

5 Just look at these pictures of her!

And Danny did then go from her eating all her vegetables to wearing her home knit sweaters, sleeping during the day and when she is told, always brushing her teeth on time 3 times a day, and reading the books she is giving in school without arguing about pictures!

It ended up with Batman sitting down with Danny after Flash brought both coffee and saying. "He knows how Danny is feeling; the people don't understand that his son, Red Hood, is just misunderstood, not a villain."

Danny then said, " But where did I do wrong? I was a hero before I retired; was it because I date a retired villain?"

Danny had been dating Blackfire for a long time. He saved her after she had fallen to Amity Park, and she is pretty good at taking care of the house and loves the engagement ring. Komand'r Fenton fully retired as villain or alien princess. 

Batman:" I did the same, but I don't think it's that fault. My others are heroes."

I realize that this was initially retconned in the new 52, but I just assumed that now that we are out of the new 52 the ntt backrounds would be canon again for Kory… instead I have to sit into 3 pages that completely invalidate some of Korys core themes for what?!? Why can’t we be free of Lodells retcons!?!?

WHAT R U DOING?!? Kory and Koms relationship is interesting because inherently doomed to happen, created by factors beyond their control. Kom, born hated, was pushed into being the Tamaranian equivalent of “child that was not embraced by the village grows up to want to burn it down”. Kory, born heir apparent, takes Koms throne. How are you supposed to come to terms with being hated by your parents and your people as a young child?!? She takes it out on Kory as she seems the only acceptable target but it only makes her only more hated by her own sister. It was an inevitable self propagating cycle… Making them always co-rulers changes the entire narrative!!

They created sibling rivalries do you even care?!!?!??

The tragedy of they being they only two who can understand what each other went through but they will never be able to at the same time.

Kom being the only character who on panel tells Kory what she needs to hear - that Korys parents pretend to sacrifice when it’s Kory who is being sacrificed! All they have done in exchange for her undying loyalty was sell her to slavery and then exchange her for a political marriage - both arguably having other solutions that would have only required more bravery or political sacrifice (said by character explicitly on panel!)

Kom - older and more experienced is the only one who can recognize just how much their parents fucked them up. But Kory can’t because her parents being correct is the only way she can justify the years she spend in slavery. To bring the cycle full circle Kom becomes Korys only acceptable target

Kom couldn’t blame her parents. Kory still can’t. Myand’r and Luand’r lurk large in the life of their childen…

You are going to take the Fucked Up Parents away from girl in the Fucked Up Parents team?!? DO YOU EVEN CARE??

You don’t need to kill Korys parents to have things in common with Dick? You can parallel their needs to do their duty for their parents sometimes against their own well-being!! You want to talk more parellels? Korys backstory is packed with parellels to the other titans!

What happends to both Kory and Joey having parents who hurt them, and instead of ever apologizing always double down on how hurting them is the only and best option?? What happens to Korys seeing herself when Raven exchanging herself so trigon will leave earth alone!?
