Been writing fic of the most unlikely guy. Just some guy. Amon from the legend of Korra.

Here are three of my favorite bits:

~ Hurt/Comfort.

One wouldn't expect that someone who deals with powers so visceral, would be skittish to deal with the skin. Or perhaps, it should be expected if all he can remember is that the body hurts, and he can hurt another's body. Their body hurt too, but of neglect, perhaps that's why they yearned for all of this anyway, to be close.

~ Action.

P'li is the intimidating one. Were Amon to even let her breathe, she could still firebend- combust him- possibly killing him. He knew her intent was something of that nature, because she defied his bloodbending and looked at him, angry, all the while her body struggled. Amon stared back, and the two were now competing for their bending. He knew she has won, but ultimately this was about buying time.
