So when I designed my version of a Rise!Venus, basing her off of Big Mama’s Assistant, I incorporated elements of the other two ninja turtles I knew of: Jennika and Slash. I didn’t want to make her “girl Leo” so she got a black mask. Assistant had those claw-like hands that felt reminiscent of Jennika, so I rolled with it, but I definitely still wanted her to be Venus.

And then a precious little pink baby came into the picture.

I don’t read the comics, but Lita is ADORABLE. I LOVE her. But her presence did throw a wrench into my amalgamation of an oc. Am I going to stop using my version of Venus? Absolutely not! But when faced with the opportunity to create a girl team I couldn’t pass it up, and despite my initial hesitation, making Venus a literal girl!Leo is hilarious, actually. “Disaster twins” is a fanon thing so let’s give Leo an actual twin.

She’d be voiced by Jenny Slate iykyk 😂😂

Soooo, been having brain rot of this duo for the past week or so (mostly a particular character if ya can't tell)

Also, since this is my first time posting anything for this, lemme briefly explain what this is-

TMNT: RESURGENCE is an... AU/continuation of ROTTMNT that takes place after the events from the movie. My fiance and I tend to work on it together, so you may see art/stories from both of us on here.

There are both OCs and cannon characters in the AU- for example we have Ve (Big Mama's Assistant) and Jen (a Battle Nexus Champion) who you can see here. I won't talk too much about them here since this was mostly me getting a feel for their designs and personality (in Jen's case).

Also, before anyone asks-

Yes, Ve is Venus de Milo. Jen is my version of Jennika.

Sometimes a family is an ex movie star, his four turtle toddlers, and the alternate version of one of them he found in a dumpster (AO3)

Ronin gets sent to the Rise!Verse at the end of the final The Last Ronin issue. Meanwhile, Splinter just escaped from Draxum‘s lab a few weeks ago and is still adjusting to 1) being a mutant 2) living in the sewers 3) having four sons now.

2012 Farmhouse arc rewrite (WIP)

What it says on the tin. There are lots of things I didn‘t like all that much in that arc, so I‘ve decided to make a version I like better.

One of my interations in which the turtles (Leo, Donnie, Mikey, Raph) were mutated by the Footclan on purpose to be used as weapons. When Shen (engaged to Yoshi and very close friends with Saki) discovers this, she takes the (kid-aged) turtles and tries to leave. Saki, unfortunately, isn‘t a fan of that and during the fight that ensures, Shen‘s daughter, Miwa, „dies“.

Shen settles down with the turtles in her deceased parents‘ house and slowly works through everything that happened while also trying to give the kids the childhood they weren‘t allowed to have before. Things are quiet for a while, but she eventually ends up meeting four more mutants(?), Jennika, Venus, Casey and Mona, throwing her new normal into chaos once again.
