Well, you asked and I answered, lovely anon! The first part was initially meant to be a standalone oneshot to bring you pain and suffering, but I thought, 'Why not?' and wrote a part two. This ending is however, completely optional, depending if you'd prefer to leave part one on the painful note :) (That's what I did)
"Just one more chance," He pleads, voice soft outside your shut window.
You press your head further into your pillow, waking up in a cold sweat from your dream. You'd be lying if you said you weren't affected by the breakup. The desk felt empty without his usual clutter, the absence of the framed photo of you together a constant reminder of what once was.
You'd never admit it, but you often find yourself glancing down at your phone, waiting for the occasional text from Leo. You were exhausted, trying to move on from him. But often, you'd come home to your empty apartment, collapsing onto the cold sofa and missing the warmth of his arms around you.
You had moved out a couple weeks after the breakup, only having told Donnie about it. The genius turtle had agreed to keep your secret from your ex in exchange for a constant supply of your signature guacamole.Â
You had offered to teach him the recipe, but he quote-unquote, "prefer to focus my energy onto things that have more significant results than a bowl of guac."
He visited sometimes and brought Mikey with him. Not recently, though, as Leo was getting suspicious. You enjoyed their presence - maybe it's true that when you love someone, you also love their family.
Loved, to be exact.
The feeling of loneliness gnaws away at your chest.
You pull out your phone, a buzz signalling a new message. You unlock it, squinting at the screen to read Mikey's latest message.Â
Dude, I'm so sorry. He got your new number when he snatched away my phone. - Mikester, sent at 9pm.Â
As soon as your eyes skim over the words, your phone vibrates from an incoming call. You flinch, dropping the phone.Â
It lands screen up, and your breath hitches from the unsaved number. There's no way you wouldn't recognize the same number you had subconsciously memorized and called countless nights.Â
You steel your resolve, trembling hands picking it back up and hitting the button to accept the call. You hold it up to your ear, waiting for him to speak. You hear a sharp inhale on the other end, biting your lip to prevent yourself from doing the same once you hear his voice.Â
"Hello...?"Â
There it was. The voice that had once brought you joy from just a simple greeting, one that had reassured you and whispered sweet nothings into your ear as he held you close in your bed.Â
"Leo." You breathe out, trying to ignore the sharp pang in your chest at the mention of his name.
âY/n,â His voice is quiet and subdued, starkly contrasting with his usual cheerful and carefree nature. âI know we ended badly, but could we meet to talk about it? If thatâs okay with you, of course.â You can hear his voice tremble on the last word, the audible gulp a dead giveaway.
Youâre silent, taking the time to think. Do you risk it? Or do you not? In retrospect, you had never really found full closure from everything. Maybe itâs why your head is still filled with thoughts of him, your apartment a constant reminder of the subconscious habits adopted from your relationship with him.
âAlright,â You agree in a quick exhale.Â
âThank youâŠWould Run of the Mill be okay? At seven tomorrow.âÂ
âYeah, that sounds good.âÂ
And then both of you hang up. Unknown to you, Leo is hunched over his phone in his room, holding his head in his trembling hands, relieved that you had agreed.
You open the door of your (very) empty fridge, sighing at the lack of food besides condiments like mayo and a bottle of cola. You grab the drink, passing the bowl of guac you had made for Donnie.Â
You turn on the TV, trying to drown out the loud silence in your apartment. You sit on the couch, feet curled up and under a blanket. You watch the show blankly, trying not to address the emptiness you feel after the phone call.Â
You take a sip, the cola burning the back of your throat. You grimace, setting it back down on the coffee table. You didn't even like cola, so why was it in your fridge?Â
Ah. Leo liked cola.
You focus on the TV programme, deciding to drift off to sleep instead. God knows you'd need it, considering you'll be talking to your ex tomorrow.Â
â â â â â â â âÂ
This is it. This is the day your life will be better off without him. The day you finally bring things to a close.Â
You tap your feet, waiting impatiently for Leo. You had arrived at Run of the Mill ahead of time, choosing to dress in your best battle armour. In this case, itâs a stunning black dress that stops right above your knees. It made you feel confident, and your smoky eyes made you look badass.Â
"Hey," you turn at the familiar voice, ignoring the way your heart does stupid little flips.Â
"Y-you look good." Leo stutters, trying to pass off a suave smile as natural. But you knew him better than that, noticing the beads of sweat on his brow and how his hands shook ever-so-slightly.Â
He's just as nervous as you are.Â
The realization relaxes your tense shoulders, now knowing you weren't the only one. The surprising absence of his swords elicits a raise of your brow, and he notices.Â
"I left them at home. I just wanted to focus on us tonight." He admits, fiddling with his fingers.Â
"Then how're we going to enter?" You gesture to the brick wall, and the both of you are shut out from the restaurant without his sword to open the doorway into it. From how his eyes widen in shock and his cheeks flush in embarrassment, it's apparent that he didn't think that far ahead.Â
Of course, he didn't, you think fondly.Â
Wait. Fondly? No. No way. You were here to just talk and address the breakup. That's all there was to it. You dismiss the small smile at the familiarity of the situation, remembering how the same thing had occurred on your fifth date.Â
You spot the way Leo's eyes light up at your amused expression, quickly masking it with a blank expression. "Should we get some takeaway instead?" Leo suggests. From the look on his face, it seemed that he recalled the exact same memory. You shrug, but Leo knows it means that you agree.
 ------------
You sit on the rooftop of an apartment building, a piping hot pizza in its box between you two. You take a slice, and so does he. The both of you eat silently, eyes darting to focus on anything but each other.
"So," you're the first to break the silence. He flinches, almost choking on his last bite.ᅵᅵ
"So..." He drawls out. C'mon, Leo! He silently chides himself, trying to not be intimidated by how utterly gorgeous you look in that dress.Â
You're waiting patiently for him to continue the conversation, and he desperately wishes that his hands could cup yours in a gentle hold. He wants to apologize, to grovel, and to beg for you to take him back.Â
The past weeks were absolute agony for him, and he missed you more than anything. So many ways were thought up to express his apologies and promise the world if you'd just give him another chance. He'd make things right, to love you more than you'd ever need or want.Â
But in an instant, once his eyes meet yours, it's all gone. Your eyes are filled with so much vulnerability, your pale complexion a dead giveaway to how you haven't taken good care of yourself. He observes the tautness in your cheeks. You'd been losing weight too, he realizes.Â
"I'm sorry." The heartfelt apology spills past his lips, carrying so much weight with so few words.Â
âSorry isnât enough to undo everything youâve done to hurt me.â You inhale deeply, willing the lump in your throat to fade. âSix dates that youâve stood me up on, not to mention the missed calls and unread texts.â You list out.
âIâm sorry, I didnâtâŠ.â I didnât mean it, Leo wants to say, but he knows itâs a mere excuse, and he catches himself before he hurts you and ruins everything yet again. âI donât have an excuse. I shouldâve treated you better, and you have every right to feel this way.âÂ
âYou lied to me.â Your words are quiet, and your eyes fill with sorrow. No matter how much you prepared yourself for this moment, itâs rendered useless as the wound is reopened from mere memory.
Heâs so full of guilt, and it seeps out through his words. âI did.â He confesses, shame filling his cheeks and feeling them burn. âAnd I never should have.â
âYeah,â You whisper, looking down at your lap where youâre fiddling with your hands. You swallow down the lump in your throat, hating how your eyes tear up again and how much he still affects you.
âBut Iâve changed,â You look back up to meet his gaze, his eyes filled with pure resolve and earnestness. âIâll treat you better than ever before, and Iâll make it up to you. Please, give me another chance. Iâll never hurt you ever again. I promise.âÂ
You shake your head, feeling the tears spill out the corner of your eyes and trickle down your cheeks. You couldnât risk it. Not again. But Donnie had mentioned that Leo really had changed, how he wrote so many letters piled up on his desk.Â
Heartfelt words left unsaid, Donnie had put it. He even admitted to taking a peek but never told you about its contents, only that Leo really had changed.
Even Mikey had brought it up.
God, you hated yourself for what you were about to say next. You turn around, facing him. He looks back up, willing the tears to go away. "Three dates." You ignore the way your heart pounds in your chest.Â
He clears his throat, rubbing his eyes roughly with the back of his hand, "What?" His voice comes out hoarse, but he could care less about that. What mattered more were the two words you had just spoken.Â
"I'll go on those three dates with you." You repeat, holding up a finger to stop him from speaking, "And we'll see where it goes; no promises."Â
â â â â â â â âÂ
Date Numero Uno.
Leo waits on the cinema rooftop, two separate bean bags on the picnic mat that covers the ground. An assortment of popcorn and candy litter the ground, a projector he borrowed from Donnie sitting on a small table behind the bean bags.
He senses your arrival and turns to face you. Heâs left speechless, the breath knocked out of him when he sees you in a pair of blue jeans and a flowy blouse. A necklace decorates your bare neck, bringing out your collarbones.
Youâre beautiful.
Heâs struggling to greet you, tripping over his words and stammering, reduced to the mess he was when you first kissed him.Â
You survey the scene, eyebrows raised when you spot all your favourite candy and snacks, even the ones Leo didnât like.Â
He remembers.
Your heart melts slightly at the gesture, but you choose not to give anything away. You set down your purse beside one of the beanbags, choosing to sit down. âSo, what movie are we watching?â Your voice is impassive, pretending to not be impressed.
âWell,â Leo walks over, sitting down and making himself comfortable in the blue bean bag, âRemember our first date?â He hits play on the app connected to the projector, and it begins to play the movie on the wall of the taller building opposite the both of you.
You gasp softly, eyes wide as your favourite movie starts playing. It brings you back to that day in the park when you first met him, a mutant monster having interrupted the public screening. He and his brothers had subdued it, only for him to smoothly invite you on a date to make up for the interruption.
It was a difficult movie to find in high quality. All the websites you visited only had blurry frame-by-frame displays. He had never told you how he managed to get a copy on your first date, and you never asked.
âHowâd you get it?â You turn to him, unable to hold back your curiosity.Â
âWell, I kinda had to make a trade with Donnie.â He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly, his gaze soft when he looks at you.Â
You avert your gaze, feeling slightly flustered yet touched. The mood remains silent with nervous tension, and you nibble on a snack as the movie plays.Â
Then Leo makes a joke, wincing when it breaks the silence.Â
But to Leoâs delight, you laugh. It sparks hope in him, and he continues to make pun after pun. You try to hide the small smiles from your amusement, but the atmosphere soon turns from awkward to comfortable and warm.Â
He walks you home after, insisting that you keep the snacks he had bought and reassuring you that heâd be the one to clean up the rooftop.Â
âWell, todayâs not a bad start.â You murmur, stopping at the doorway to your apartment. He has his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, eyes filled with hope. âJust wait; I have another two dates to make it up to you.â He quips.Â
âGoodbye, Leo.â You chuckle, entering your home. You close the door behind him, and he heads home.

Date Numero Dos
The bright lights of the carnival almost blind you as you weave through the crowd, spotting a familiar blue hoodie and jeans. You walk over to the booth that Leoâs waiting at. He pockets his phone once he sees you, straightening his posture and greeting you with a smile.
âSo, this carnival, huh?â You cross your arms, looking at the booths around. He nods, holding up two express tickets that would allow the both of you to skip the long queues.Â
Heâs really serious about this, you note with a soft smile.Â
Leo knows this next move is risky, but he does it anyway. He holds his arm to you, âBecause itâs really crowded. Just scared you might get lost, and I wonât be able to spot you in the crowd.â He jokes nervously, holding his breath.Â
You hesitate, but you gently place your hand on his bicep. Besides, this is just to prevent you from being separated from the crowd. Nothing else.
You feel his body relax, observing the quiver of his lips as he tries not to beam. You hide a small chuckle at the sight.
He brings you to all the various carnival games, cheering for you as you knock down towers of metal cups with a tennis ball and win a prize. You do the same when heâs hula-hooping, lasting the longest out of all the other participants. He has the audacity to do a few tricks with the hula-hoop to rub his win in everyone elseâs face, and you giggle at the sight.
âMove aside, blue.â You pat his chest a couple of times, the feeling so natural to you that you almost forget that you are no longer together. A blush coats Leoâs cheeks as he looks at you, aiming the toy gun at the tower of Jenga bricks, the action stunning him into silence.
You groan, only one last small stack remaining upright. A mischievous idea hits him, and he sneakily uses his sword to form a portal behind the bricks, using his finger to flick it and send it toppling down. You gasp in delight, and your arms are thrown up in victorious cheer.
You turn to face him with unadulterated excitement in your eyes, heat spreading across your nose and cheeks when you see the soft smile on his lips. You avert your gaze, staring down at your sandals as embarrassment fills your body.
âShall we?â He holds his arm towards you again, but you take it without hesitation this time.
The two of you continue to play the carnival games, and you have so much fun that you forget about the agreement altogether. You make jokes and laugh and gasp in excitement when he hands you a large stick of cotton candy to share. You tear off small pieces, relishing in the happiness of the sweetness that melts on your tongue.Â
When he walks you home, you're disappointed that the date is ending, much to your surprise. You shut the door behind you as usual, small butterflies in your stomach and a silly smile you canât seem to wipe off your lips.
Youâre lying in bed when the phone screen lights up with a call, and you answer it without looking at the number.
âHey,â Leo sounds surprised that you picked up, and you tuck the phone close to your ear, using your shoulder to hold it in place as you massage your sore feet.Â
âHey,â You reply softly, glancing up at the clock. Eleven PM.
âDid you get home safe?â That pulls a chuckle out of you, âYou walked me home.â You remind him with an amused roll of your eyes.
âOh, I knew that. Just wanted to check, is all.â Leo bluffs, lying on his bed with the phone next to him on his pillow.
âSo, why the sudden callâŠ?â You ask, switching the phone to rest on your other shoulder as you massage your left calf.Â
âI wanted to tell you to dress up for the last date.â Leo turns to lie on his side, untying his bandanna to loop it around the bedpost.
âOh? How formal are we talking?â You collapse on your pillow, holding the phone above your face. You accidentally lose your grip, and it falls. You yelp when it lands harshly on your nose, rubbing it to relieve the pain.
âYou good?â Leo gets worried, sitting upright in his bed. If you were hurt, heâd make his way over to your apartment immediately. Heâs relieved when you mumble a yes.
âYeah, I just accidentally, yet very conveniently, dropped my phone on my face.â You groan, frowning when he barks a short laugh over the phone. âHey, you did it too during that movie night in the lair with your family,â You snap playfully.
âI would never!â He gasps, holding his hand over his heart in mock hurt. An affectionate smile finds its way to his lips, staring up at the ceiling.
âSo, where will our last date be?â Your question sobers him up, and a dull pang resonates in his chest at the reminder that there was still a chance you didnât want to be his anymore.
âRun of the Mill.â He responds, quieter than before.Â
You inhale sharply at the mention of the chosen location, and it gets quiet for a while. âMake sure you bring your swords this time.â You try to joke, keeping the atmosphere light.
âI dunno, it might ruin the outfit's aesthetic.â He replies without thinking, warmth blossoming in his chest when he understands what youâre trying to do. He turns to face his phone, oblivious to the fact that you are mirroring his exact position and tender smile in your own bed.
You continue to talk and chat into the night, and when Leo hears your witty replies slow, he knows youâre falling asleep. He finally hears your soft breathing after a while longer, falling silent. He stays in the same position for a bit, just listening and pretending that youâre right there with him at that very moment.
But he hangs up with a sad smile, falling asleep with a pillow in his arms instead of you.

Date Numero Tres
Youâre waiting in the alleyway, checking your phone. You were there on the dot, but a small fear eats away at you, scarred by past experience.Â
Would he be a no-show?
He was supposed to have changed. You prayed that he wouldn't let you down. Not again.
You donât realize how tense your body is until he shows up moments after your doubt starts coding your mind, your shoulders relaxing when you see him. Heâs dressed in a casual tuxedo, and you raise a brow at how snazzy he looks in it.Â
âMâlady,â He holds out his hand, and you slide your own into his, tingles tiptoeing up your spine at the contact. He pulls a single sword out of the two slung across his hip, and you note that heâd even bought black sheaths for the blades to match the outfit.
He guides you into the restaurant, Señor Hueso bringing you to a private balcony and leaving the both of you with menus. âWow, youâre really going all out, huh?â You observe, and sit down when he pulls a chair out for you.
He sits down on the chair opposite you. Youâre about to pick up the menu to rifle through it, but he places his hand on top and gently pushes it back onto the table. You blink, confused by the gesture.
âTrust me, I know exactly what to order.â He smirks, signalling Señor Hueso to take your order. You ask for a glass of iced tea and wait patiently for Leo to order for the both of you.Â
âSeñor Hueso, one of your Pizza Especial, large please.â The owner, familiar with Leoâs antics, takes the order with so much as a blink at Leoâs exaggerated Spanish accent.Â
âDid you just ask for a Pizza Special?â You ask, bemused yet entertained by the turtle opposite you. He nods with a cheeky wink, inducing a nervous laugh from you.Â
You make small talk till the food comes, and you gasp in pleasant surprise when a piping hot pizza is placed between you both, the grilled onions among various other toppings bringing a smile to your face. Youâre almost drooling, thanking Señor Hueso, who brings the food to your table before he walks away.
Leo picks up the first slice of pizza, placing it onto your plate with a warm smile that sends a rush of endorphins through your body. You clear your throat. âThanks,â You murmur, picking up the slice and taking the first bite.Â
He waits for your reaction, ignoring the rumble his empty stomach makes. Heâs euphoric when your eyes light up, taking larger bites with a happy hum. He watches you with fondness in his eyes, stiffening when you catch him.
His eyes focus intently on the pizza, grabbing the second slice and munching hungrily. He doesnât spot the grin on your lips, and you both eat. After a few slices, youâre stuffed to the max. You lean back in your chair, and Señor Hueso brings the pizza away to be put in a takeaway box at Leoâs request.Â
âDessert?â He asks you. You immediately nod with an eager smile, sitting back upright and covering your mouth politely when you burp. Your cheeks flush in embarrassment, but he finds it cute.
âWould you like to share our signature sundae?â Señor Hueso suggests upon returning with the packaged leftover pizza, waiting for your decision.
âOh, I donât think sheâd be comfortable-âÂ
âI donât mind sharing,â You cut Leo off, and his eyes widen briefly in surprise before they soften at your words. You nod in thanks to Señor Hueso, who leaves to prepare dessert, with silence settling between you both.
âThe dates were fun,â You begin the difficult conversation, clearing your throat awkwardly.
âIâm glad you enjoyed them.â Leoâs reply is shy and nervous, fidgeting with his fingers on the table, green skin against the pure white of the tablecloth
Your lips curve upwards into a reassuring smile, reaching across and placing your hands on his. He looks up, taking in your radiant beauty and bright eyes.Â
âI canât wait for the next one.â
He freezes, forgetting how to breathe.Â
âWait,â He looks down, blinking rapidly before looking back up at you, âDoes this meanâŠ?â
Your nod of confirmation is all he needs for the rising swell of affection in his chest to spill over in the form of a sudden hug. You gasp in surprise at the feeling of his arms around you, melting into his touch as he buries his head into your shoulder.
I HAVE A RISE X READER ASKKK post krang invasion. donnie and reader are hanging out in his lab. donnie is upset bc he misses his old lab and the tech he had, now he has to build everything from scratch again. reader is chilling on one of donnies many spinny chairs and gets curious abt how his life was before the krang invaded, reader starts asking questions abt his lab and life n stuff.
he tells them how cool his lab was and the adventures they had and how they fought villians, then donnie brings up jupiter jim and the reader is like âwhatâs that??â and from then on, donnie is scavenging the base, looking for the comics (maybe the comics can be in leos room and they have a lil argument bc leo wants to know why donnie needs his comics and donnies ashamed to admit he wanted to get them so he can read them to reader) after donnie retrieves the comics he shows them to the reader and the two of them chill w each other, reading all of the jupiter jim comics

Warning: probably ooc leo and donnie, Angst, verbal argument, y/n is bland as hell lol, minor swearing
âughâŠâ Donnie was looking at one of his latest invention, it didn't go as planned and it was starting to annoy him, this was already fifteenth try and it was going nowhereÂ
You were sitting in a chair beside him, spinning to beat the boredom and just trying to disconnect with the world for a moment, but as soon as you heard the sigh leave the purple turtleâs lips you stop what you were doing âWhat's wrong?â
âNothing, itâs justâŠthis stupid thing doesnât workâ you could see the frustration in his face, he was agitated, he groaned out of frustration âThis wouldnât happened if I just had my old labâ
Curiosity began to flourish from the moment these words were uttered. Even when the four brothers were seen as heroes, no one really knew too much about them, and no one could be bothered to ask either, we were in and out of danger every single day. Still, the atmosphere of this half-built lab make you feel nostalgic, you were starting to miss normal even when you sometimes complained about how boring was your past life, you were missing those exact moment of boring.
You met the brothers once they saved you in one of the many rescues they performed after the krang began to invade New York and finally the whole world. A world of suffering, where humans and yokai struggled together trying to survive the apocalypse. Maybe it was because of the way you encountered them for the first time, but it didn't take you long to get attached to them.. Especially, the purple one, Donatello, he never left the base unless necessary since he was responsible for maintaining the shields, because of that you saw him often. Donnie took his job seriously, always making some sort of gadget to make missions easier and faster. You spent a lot of time around him, it seemed to bother him at first but now he was more used to your presence. It was probably because of this that you started to feel curious about the past of the turtles that saved your life, and this was just the perfect moment to ask
âHow was it?â You asked, looking at the ground due to nervousness
âhmm? what do you mean?â The mutant looked away from his work to pay attention to you
âyour lab, how was it?"
Donnie's face immediately light up âOh my dear y/n, it was magnificentâ He turn his whole body to you, noticeably excited to talk about it âI had so many inventions and material, you would be impress, a-andâ The excitement make him trip over his word âNot to brag but the aesthetics were, heh, just marvelous, if I say myself, the purple LEDs and my incredible organization make my lab the best room in our...homeâ he sigh that last word, leaning back on his chair âIâm sure you would have loved it...I use to spend days in between those walls. I had this drone named S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N, he was sometimes annoying, but he was my pride, almost like a son to me, he was severed damage in a fight, and just when I managed to bring him back⊠this happenedâ He looked annoyed but you could feel the sadness on his words, he keep talking. âI just kinda wish this lab could make itself, you know?, now it just messy and doesnât look scientific enough, my old lab had everything a turtle could wish, it was perfectâ
âWell, I think is nice thoâ you felt stupid for saying that and gave yourself a mental slap in the face, he didn't need kind words, it was a dumb
âYeahâŠit is "nice", but I miss my old one, andâŠwell, I guess my whole life in the lairâ He sounded a little down there, looking somewhere between his work and blueprints
âHowâŠhow was your life before?" You feel imprudent for a moment, you already make him quite sad, and you were just putting salt on an open wound. Sometimes you hated your curiosity âifâŠif you donât mind me asking, I-I understand if you donâtâŠâ your voice reflected a bit of shyness as you spoke faster than usual, it didn't matter if you were friends with the turtle, he still was your superior, and most important, the hero of the apocalipse, you always tried to treat him with respect, but the familiarity was such that you sometimes forgot to put your filter on
Donnie gives you a little smile âIt's okay." Of course the turtle was oblivious to your thoughts, he didn't care about ranks between you two "WellâŠhmm" He started talking "we were just hiding in the sewer, we couldnât really go out that much. I think It is one of the few things I like about now, we can interact with humans without scaring them awayâ He looked puzzled, hesitant, probably asking himself what was worth telling âwe wereâŠusually fighting again some mutant who was dumb enough to use their power for evilish things, those oozquitoes where quiet the troubleâ
You opened your eyes, news were full of strange event about people turning into monster, one of them being the world famous chef Rupert Swaggart, but you actually never pay too much attention to it, since it always ended up solving itself in some strange circumstance, now you knew the true âWait, it was you? that it's so awesomeâ Your eyes were sparkling of excitement, just when you thought they couldnât be cooler "Those incident were everywhere, I actually thought they were just some kind of stuff TV came up with for the audience or something like that, b-but it was you?, it must have been fun, you're amazing Donnie" This just add to the reasons you admired the turtle brothers
Donnie's cheeks burn at the compliment, he try to hide it âYes, it was fun. Although I preferred it when we were just relaxing in the lair, making fun of the last stupid thing Leo did, playing video games, and when the only fights we had were over who got the last slice of pizza or which Jupiter Jim movie we were going to see first, you know?â He spoke softly, looking down and making a few gesture with his hands here and there while speaking
You looked at him confused. âWhat's that?â you asked
âWhat's what?â
âThat umm.. JupiterâŠJim?â you were quiet for a few seconds trying to figure out if you had said it correctly, after deciding that you did you start talking again âWhat it is?â
Donnie looks at you like if you had insulted all his ancestry âCaptain Jupiter Jim? you donât know who captain Jupiter Jim is?!â You started thinking that this had to be really important for one of the Hamato brothers to be this defensive, maybe it has something to do with their training? perhaps a really important figure in the ninja world?. Donatello looked thoughtful you were gonna ask about it but you were interrupted as the soft shell suddenly stood up with a determined look âI need to goâ and with that the turtle walked out his lab leaving you even more confused
« ⢠â ⢠»
Donnie went into Leonardoâs room, he was the biggest fan, so it wouldnât be weird for him to have the comics and maybe the movies that were saved from the lair. He was searching in the bookshelf
âWhat are you doing?â the sudden sound of a voice make him jump, slamming his back against the shelf and knocking some things over., it was his twin brother
Donnie didn't know whether knowing who the voice was coming from made him panicked more or relieved...he was panicking obviously. âuh- umâŠno-nothing?, nothing! not searching for anything hereâ the soft-shell turtle picked up the thing that fall from the bookshelf while speaking
Leo looked at his brother with obvious oddity âuhâŠsureâ the blue turtle throw his odachi on his bed, he was just arriving from a mission and totally didnât expect to see his brother trying to steal something, he keep making eye contact with Donnie, he knew how to get responses from him âso?â
âs-so what?â Donnie try to maintain the eye contact
âWhat ya looking for? Need your big brother's help?â Leo smiled teasingly, it was weird to see Donnie so nervous, and he was gonna tease the hell out of him to get answers
âI just said I wasnât looking for anything, and for the last time, it is obvious that Iâm the older Nardo.â
âuh-huhâŠyeah, sureâ Leo looked unimpressed of both statements
âAs I say, I wasnât looking for anything, since anything that belong to the such of you itâs probably unworthyâ Donnie broke the eye contact first, looking at the door, obviously wanting to escape from this situation
Leo saw his intentions and immediately put himself as a barrier between his brother and the door âWell, if my belongings are so unworthy, what were you doing in my chambers?â he made a mocking gesture along with the last word, kinda proud of himself for using book words
âI-IâŠumâ he stuttered trying to find the correct words to leave this situation âYou knowâŠI was just doing normal typical brotherly things, just uhâŠwanting to spend time with my favorite brotherâ Those last two words had a bitter taste in donnie's mouth.Â
Leo couldnât help but laugh âIâm your favorite brother?â he continued laughing so much that tears started to come out âThat was a good one Dee heheâŠso what do you want?â The face of the blue turtle turn serious with the last sentence
âI said it was nothingâ Donatello hissed annoyed â...but just by chance, have you seen those jupiter jim comics?â He finally admitted,
âAh ha! you did want somethingâ Leo shouted victorious, just to realize about something not even a second later âWaitâŠWhy do you want my comics?â Leonardo knew his brother, this was suspicious behavior, Donnie was something special when it comes to comics.
âWhy do I have to tell you everything? Do you have them or not?â The soft-shell bark his words at his brother, trying to hide his embarrassment, if Leo was to know the reason, he would never hear the end of it
âI do have then, but I'm not giving them to you if you donât tell me, so start talkingâ Leonardo insisted, it sounded like a command which make Donnie even more nervous
âIâm not telling youâÂ
âThen you wonât have the comicsâ
âBut I need themâ
âThen talk."
Both twins were known for their stubbornness, they never gave to others, much less to each other.. Their fight could last hours if you let them, and one of their brothers always had to interfere. They stared at each other once again with flaming eyes, trying to intimidate the other
âWhy do you want to know?â
âBecause" The other replied "Iâm talking to the person who cried when he had to open his comic without glovesâÂ
âI didnât cry!â
âYou did!â
âUgh! whatever, just give me the comic for einstein sakeâ Donnieâs fist clenched
âJust tell me why you want them!â Leo demand once more
âI just want to...read themâ
"Why can't you just tell me the true?"Â
"I JUST DON'T WANT TO" The soft shell shouted, making his twins take a step back, both looking at each other surprised. The purple turtle covered his own mouth, he wasn't expecting to yell
Leo sighed, he didn't wanna fight with his brother for some dumb comics, he has more important thing to worry about, and knowing Donatello, he knew he wouldn't tell a thing if he didn't want to "FineâŠno need to yell, I was just teasing" He sighed once again, not dearing to look at his brother
Donatello had a complicated expression. Back in the lair, they would keep screaming at each other until Raphael or Michelangelo made them stop, they would keep teasing at each other, maybe go physic, but at the end of the day they wouldn't even apologize, at least not with words, they would hang out in one of their room or Donnie's lab and have those unspoken conversations they always had. But this wasn't the lair or their past lives, there were just so much that wasn't the same, even when they were still living together, they never see each other, they were starting to feel like strangers, and it make Donatello feel insecure "I-I'm...sorryâŠI didn't- I" he spoke tripping over his own words. Donnie felt pathetic, starting to fidget with his fingers, his breath a little accelerated, avoiding any eye contact
"Hey, hey, It's okay, don't worry" Leonardo tried to comfort his brother, smiling and making sure the other knew he wasn't angry or anything while searching for something under his bed. A cardboard box "Here..." Leo offer the box to the other mutant
Donatello took a closer look at the box, inside there were not only the Jupiter Jim comics, but also some action figures, posters, among other stuff from the franchise "ummâŠthanks" both brother were uncomfortable, neither of them were good with "feelings" and "sincere moments"
"Yeah yeah, but next time just ask, don't come to my room to snoop around like a creep, you weirdo." Leonardo teased Donnie, trying to make the atmosphere a little less serious, it was starting to suffocating them both
The comment make the other laugh a little, but he covered his mouth to not give the him a clue "Scoff" he looked away
"Oh, shut up."
Donnie finally had the comics, now it was time to show them to you, were you gonna like them? What if you didn't like them? He went through all those problems, if you didn't like them he would probably cry internally.Â
« ⢠â ⢠»
Donnie sends you a message to come to his lab. You were still confused about the events from early on, but maybe he needed you for something important, it wasn't weird to ask you to test his inventions. When you arrived at the turtle's lab, he was on his desk looking at something, but you couldn't see it.
He then noticed you standing on the entrance "Finally!" the mutant spoke, he get up of his seat and walk towards you, taking you by the shoulder and sitting you on omce of the chairs, you then saw the thing he was looking at, there were various comics with Jupiter Jim as the title in it
"What's all this?" You askedÂ
"This, my dear y/n, is one of the best comic and movie franchises of all. And I just can't be friends with you if you don't know about this" Donnie has bright eyes, you could see how they were sparkling on excitement
"So...It's this the thing you talked about early?" You take on of the comics and give it a quick look at it, all your theories of a great and important ninja figure collapse with one glance, it was just a comic
"First of all, you can't call it "thing", this is a super valuable collection of Jupiter Jim merchandise" He takes the comic off your hands "second, you shall treat it with respect" he sat beside you. You couldn't help but laughed at how serious he was about those comics, it was hard to believe that the great Hamato Donatello, the smartest living being and one of your saviors, could be so excited about sometime so childish, your heart feel all fuzzy and warm inside.
The mutant searched sometimes inside the box, it looked like he was looking for something specific âah ha! found itâ the turtle beamed at the comic book in his hands, after giving it a quick look he gave it to you âhere, read this one. It's one of the best to begin withâ
You took the comic, staring at the cover. Just like the one before, the pages had the title âJupiter Jimâ in bright yellow, a dark skin man standing heroic, dressed as an astronaut with a little funny looking red fox on his side. You started reading the first page âThe colors are so prettyâ, it was the first comment you made, colors always had been a focus point for you
Donnie was just staring at you while you kept reading in silence, nodding or adding a few âI know, rightâ to your occasional comments. The purple turtle started to order the comics, trying to decide which one to give you next, there were a few chapters missing, he put a piece of paper to remember what needed explanation from a previous loss episode. He then just stared at you some more, it was quite interesting for him how focus you could get at something
âWowâŠâ You proclaim, closing the comic book and looking at the distance for a few seconds, trying to process what you have just read, and then looking at the turtle âThat was such a roller coaster of emotion, like- like the fights a-andâŠâ You spoke fast, as if you were trying to put all your thoughts in one word "It just so awesome!! I can't describe it, I don't know how I have been living without knowing this" You kicked your feet with pure joy
Donnie was flapping his hand while listening to you talking about your first impression of the characters, story, just the whole thing! he didnât want to interrupt but at the same time he wanted to ask so many questions about your thoughts. He felt himself over the moon just listening to you talking about one of his favorite things, he could barely conceal his delight âI know! I told you, this is a history treasureâ he shouted, not being able to regulate his voice.
âI feel so foolish for thinking of such an amazing creation as childish, I shall regret my words and promise to worship this great creation.â You hold the comic with both hands, putting it in the air as a sign of respect for a few seconds before snapping âPlease, please!! show me some moreâ you got a little too close to the contraryÂ
Donnie would have usually pull you back, but his joy was just enough for him to not care and unconsciously put you closer instead âOh dear y/n we are just getting started, this is not even a fraction of how amazing Jupiter Jim isâ he took another comic book, holding it with both hand with the cover facing you, it was quite close to your face so you couldn't actually read the title âThis is one of my favorite, buy I would need to explain some things, since to my sadness the first episode of this saga is missingâ He put his chair closer to yours, opening the first page, you also got closer to get a better look âFirstâŠâ He started explaining âThe previous episode ended with this big battle between Jupiter Jim andâŠâ You both began to read the comic, laughing and sharing your thoughts of the story. Time seemed not to move forward as you both enjoyed your time together, just having a fun time in the middle of this chaotic world, which may never be the same again, but for that moment you both forgot about that.

Raphael, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Any Version)
Raphael is definitely one of those characters I have been thinking about writing about for a long time, since after I started on writing and posting fanfics atleast a couple years agoð¢So today I plan to make writing about him a realityð¢ Since every1 does have their own preferences about which Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series they like best, I will let the reader decide to their imagination which version of Raphael (and/or anything pertaining to any version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, regardless if it's movie and/or show and/or cartoon version) is in this fic (this gif of Raph is just something I picked outð )ð¢ I just figured it would be more fun for the reader to imagine which version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series they think of while reading this fanfic with Raphael in itð¢ð¢ð¢ð¢
Seeing Raphael's Caring Side ((Adult) Raphael (aka, Raph) (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Any Version)) x Female Reader)
Genres: Head Cannon(?), Comfort, Fluff (Warning â ïž: One of the paragraphs and/or parts of this fanfic mentions harassment)
*When Raphael (Leonardo, Donatello, and Michaelangelo) first meet you, he will be surprised that you're not frightened of him (nor the other turtles). However, Raphael did end up taking a liking to you in first sight. The thing is he doesn't want the other turtles to find out. You can't blame him, because there's a chance the other turtles could tease him about you, if they find out right away.
*After a couple months passed by, Raphael decided to confess that he has a crush on you. To his surprise, it turned out you take a liking to him as well. He madesure that none of the other turtles (Leonardo, Donatello, and Michaelangelo), to find out obviously. Or so he thought. Leonardo, Donatello, and Michaelangelo, madesure to watch Raph's every move due to the fact that they have their suspicions that Raph wanted to confess to you.
*Raph maybe a tough guy during his training, missions (especially with the other turtles), working out, and other stuff he does (depending on the series the reader enjoys watching and/or to the reader's imagination), he's also secretly a big softie when it comes to you and he makesure no one else (Leonardo, Donatello, and Michaelangelo included). While he's an affectionate guy, because he's low-key a hugger, a cuddler, and a kisser when it comes to his relationships, he's also okay regardless if you feel like hugging, kissing, and cuddling, or not. He prefers not to overstep your boundaries and he's willing to accept you for who you are.
*If he notices anyone harrass you, including stalkers, he will makesure to they wish they never did and teach them not to harrass you anymore. It gets under his skin when he finds out in anyway, if anyone was to harrass you, no matter how they harrass you. He wants what it's best for you, especially when it comes to your safety and self-esteem. He will even makesure to find anyway possible to make them stop harassing you, even if he has to do so without you knowing it.
*When you're having a bad day and/or depressed and/or sad and/or having any other problems that can be solved through comfort, well then Raphael is definitely is definitely someone who will comfort you the best as he is able to. Being a softie isn't the only thing that he shows to you, however he also will comfort you, regardless if its work or at home or family issues, he will still do his best to comfort you and try to cheer you up. You're his pride and joy, so he wants to make you happy, while also making sure that you are happy, as well.
*Everytime you decide on spending atleast one night with Raphael, he always looks forward to it. He does look forward to seeing you generally and he enjoys hanging out with you, however it's not often you spend the night with him, which is one of these occasions that gets him really, low-key, excited. So, he always surprises you with something everytime you do show up to spend atleast one night with him, which everytime he surprises you with something, you actually appreciate what he does for you and you actually find it romantic that he does different surprises everytime you spend atleast one night at his place.
The End
I will admit, working on this fanfic with Raphael, was (and is) definitely fun working onð¢ðð So, no matter which version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series you enjoy best, I still hope you enjoy this fanfic of Raphaelð¢ Despite of the gif I used of Raphael (2003 version) in this post for this fanfic, it's still up to the reader's imagination which version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Raphael alike due to every fan of any of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series having different preferences which Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series they like and/or having a favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series (show, cartoon, and movie versions alike)ð¢ð¢ð¢ð¢ðð
*Note: When I was little, my first time seeing anything of any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series was watching the 80's version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series episode where it pertains the Turtles having to chase a bunny, if I remember correctlyð°ð¢ð¢ð¢ð¢

ROTTMNT Turtles and Reader: Leo Edition by Saspa
TMNT and Touch Starved Reader by LittleBitOffanfic
Rise! Reader One Shots by MethIsSoFetch (@Meth-is-so-fetch)
My take on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. P2, Positive review!
I included the pros and cons on the previous slam- but I didnât really give it too many pros. I decided to make a part two because ima admit- I was harsh haha
ROTTMNT is fashionable, aesthetic, fun, colorful, and so much more. I was hyped to find out that Nickelodeon was making a new TMNT series. I still believe that the personalities of the turtles are really different, but it doesnât make them terrible! I mean Donnie is literally a genius, Mikey looks so much more huggable, Raph literally is boyfriend material, and I KIN to Leo.
Even though I described it as âthe high school girlâ side of me, it is still a big side of me. I cannot with that fashion episode- my greedy hands canât wait to draw Leo in a suit. I already drew Donnie (I used a reference- I didnât trace. Just in case you find something similar to it. I donât use refs anymore, but I drew that when I need refs. Of course I need the occasional pose and anatomy help- but thatâs really all.) I also made an animatic on scratch on the ye old days of ROTTMNT.
The aesthetic of Rise is unmatched to any other show. Literally cannot find any tv series close to it. Itâs original- and thatâs why I slammed so hard on it. With originality, comes infinite pros and cons. I am speechless with this show for the most part- and that slam I made was a mash up of a lot of different opinions from multiple people. I read articles before I made it, then finalized it in my own words.
I have one guilty wish to all ye animators and artists. Please do more x YNs. Iâm kinda tired of seeing post apocalypse headcanons lol sorry. I also live for the New York aesthetic and the bright lighting and colors.
I know this positive review is short, but I am writing this at a restaurant currently and donât feel like looking up articles with opinions on ROTTMNT. That was a lot of research I did.
Once more- i truly love Rise and I hope you understand that the slam was just exactly that. A slam. Despite that, I truly want to know your thoughts on upcoming content: should I do a movie review for rise? Want some headcanons? How about art? And because Iâm currently vibing with four followers, Iâll take in free self/OC inserts and draw you with your favorite turtle or April! As well as headcanons. Iâll also take in ideas for a one shot book, Quotev quiz, fan fiction, and a possible animatic.
As always, I hope you enjoyed your time on my blog my feathered friend. Thank you for reading my two part review!

I'll be real with y'all, I might have been going through the grieving process of my recent breakup while writing this lmfao. But hey! I don't see much tmnt angst lately so here you go~ I hope this makes you cry! Or sob, or tear up etc.
Love, crackedpumpkin.
part two (optional)
He was late. Again.
You sigh, starting to keep the plates of food you had painstakingly prepared for tonight. Perfectly sliced sandwiches wrapped in cling film are carelessly tossed back into the basket, and potato salad in a disposable bowl is thrown in the trash.
Candles are extinguished, and the flames are snuffed out. Fairy lights are kept, and empty plastic cups are disposed of.
You pack up the picnic mat you had been sitting on for over an hour, stumbling slightly as you regain feeling in your legs. You glance down at the framed picture you had brought with you, your heart sinking as you place it back in the basket and everything else.
This was the sixth time Leo had stood you up. Maybe you were a fool for hoping things would work out. But this was too much. Tears prick the corner of your eyes, clouding your vision as you sit in the back of a cab, making your way back home.
You pull out your phone, opening the chat between you and Leo.
Hey, are you reaching anytime soon? - Unread, sent at 6.30pm.
You okay? Youâre not picking up my calls. - Unread, sent at 7pm.
Leo, Iâm getting worried. Where are you? - Unread, sent at 7.15pm.
Iâm going home. - Unread, sent at 7.30pm.
You set your phone down, locking the screen so that its lifeless black form is all you see. It doesnât help how your heart clenches in your chest, and itâs suddenly hard to breathe.
You reach your apartment at eight-thirty p.m. on the dot, having travelled far just to set up the picnic date at the park where you two had first met. You let the basket slip from your grasp, clattering to the floor. You could care less about the noise; too emotionally drained.
You drape yourself across your bed, curling up with a plushie. Leo won it for you at the annual carnival to commemorate your first date. It was starting to get tattered, the once bright green of the turtle plushie fading with time.
You feel your phone buzz in your pocket, pull it out and turn it on. You squint at the bright screen, eyes adjusting to the sudden light in the dark room.
Hey, got caught up with hero things. Wonât be able to make it tonight. Howâs tomorrow at Run of the Mill, 7pm? - Leo <3 , Sent at 9pm.
You scoff, releasing your grip on your phone and allowing it to slide onto the bed, looking away.
You hold out for five minutes before turning and grabbing your phone, texting back.
I understand. Iâll see you tomorrow then? - Unread, sent at 9.10pm.
Hopefully, youâd actually get to see his face tomorrow.
â â â â â â â â
You glance in the bathroom mirror, checking that your lashes are perfectly curled. You blink, checking on your eyeliner and lip tint. You run your fingers through your hair, smooth locks framing your face perfectly.
You had spent over an hour getting ready, wanting everything to go perfectly tonight. You wave goodbye to your parents, watching television in the living room, shutting the door behind you before heading to the alleyway that leads to Run of the Mill.
You hail a cab, reaching Run of the Mill half an hour late on purpose. You glance around, frowning when you donât see your boyfriend. You pull out your phone, dialling his number and hold it to your ear.
âHey, youâve just reached the voicemail of Leonardo. Iâll call you back if I like you. If not, then thatâs too bad!â
The beep that comes after is poison to your ears, and you bitterly press the button to hang up, choosing to message him.
Babe, Iâm at Run of the Mill now. Where are you?â - Unread, sent at 7.35pm.
You lean against the wall, entertaining yourself by scrolling through social media and texting your friends. You pause when you open Instagram, noticing that Mikey has posted on his close friends' story.
You tap on the green circle around his profile picture, a video playing.
âYooo, thatâs so sick! He did it again, two nights in a row!â Mikeyâs voice plays over the phone speaker, but itâs who heâs filming that makes your smile drop and your heart plummet.
Leo stands confidently on the skate ramp in their lair, a smug smile on his lips as he poses for another skateboard trick.
âI canât believe it!â Raphâs shout from somewhere off-camera is filled with disbelief.
âIf you insist, ladies and gentlemen, I shall demonstrate my awesome skills and amazing talent yet again!â Leo grins but pauses momentarily to check his phone.
The call sign on his screen, a picture of the two of you smiling widely, is visible. However, he turns it off without hesitation, pocketing his phone again and jumping down the ramp on his skateboard with a loud whoop.
The story ends there, an ad for cruises popping up next. Youâre surprised when drops of water land on the screen but realize that your vision has gone blurry from the hot tears that fill your eyes. They overflow, trickling down your cheeks.
Itâs hard to swallow down the golf-ball-sized lump in your throat, leaning against the wall as you struggle to breathe through the hiccups. Your nose is runny, and youâre sure you look like a mess right now. However, not a single cry makes it past your lips, the crushing sensation almost too much to bear.
Heâs not going to show up.
He was never going to show up.
The realization hits you like a truck just as it starts to rain. It soaks through your dress and your makeup, leaving you shivering in the cold weather. You hail a cab back home, sitting silently in the backseat and ignoring the concerned glances of the taxi driver.
You enter your home a soaked mess, rainwater having mixed with your tears. Streaks of mascara and eyeliner decorate your cheeks, and your eyes are bloodshot. You donât know how else to react, your heart filled with conflicting emotions that crash into each other like violent waves.
You can barely wash up, and your arms are heavy when scrubbing your body. Somehow, you end up sitting on your shower floor, staring blankly at the wall. You drag yourself out of the shower once your skin wrinkles and your body shivers.
You change into pyjamas, standing in the doorway of your bedroom. You shut the door, and it closes with a silent click. You grab the framed picture of you and Leo on your desk, and a flash of anger fills your heart. You hold it above the trash bin, ready to throw it inside.
But you hesitate.
Your eyes sting, tears brimming in the corners. All too soon, the anger disappears, and emptiness fills its place. You sit on your bed in silence, your eyes blank and hands tightly gripping the framed picture. You sit for a long while, only stirring to life when the rising sunâs rays shine into your room.
You hear a buzz and look to your side to see your phone halfway out of the purse, the screen lighting up with a message. You grab it, unlock it and click on the notification.
Hey babe! Sorry, got caught up in more hero stuff again. - Leo <3, sent at 6am.
You choke on a sob that tears itself from your throat, muffling a cry that threatens to wake everyone up. Your chest is threatening to collapse in on itself, a feeling you never wanted to experience, much less because of him.
You immediately call him, slightly surprised when he actually picks up.
âYellow?â
Your voice dies in your throat before the words can even make it past your lips. Youâre silent once you hear his voice, wanting nothing more than to forgive and forget; to go back to the days when you were loved and treated right.
âBabe?â He laughs at Mikeyâs muffled words a distance away, âIf you butt-dialled me, you should at least say so. Iâll hang up now!â
âWeâre over.â You whisper, forcing the words out.
âWhat was that?â Leoâs voice is still playful.
You take a deep breath, forcing down the lump in your throat.
âWeâre over,â you repeat, stronger this time.
âGood one, Y/n.â He chuckles, though a hint of concern laces his words.
âThis isnât a joke, Leo. Weâre over.â You breathe, hands gripping your sheets so tightly that your knuckles turn white. âWhatever we have â what we used to have, itâs gone. Weâre done.â
You press the red button on your screen, hanging up on him before he can get a word in. You knew that if you didnât, youâd have broken down before ending the call. A sob bursts past your lips that are pressed together tightly.
Then another. And another, until youâre crumpled into your bed, arms desperately clutching your pillow as you inhale shuddering breaths. You ignore the knock at your window, even as it becomes more frantic.
âY/n?â You donât respond, stifling the cries that threaten to alert him to your presence. Leo finally leaves after what seems like hours, and you inhale deeply, trying to calm yourself down.
Your breaths slow, and your body is no longer shaking. You slide out of bed, grab a spare tote bag and fill it with everything he had left around your room whenever he visited.
His jacket, his spare bandanna, his cologne. It all went into the bag, along with plenty of photos of the two of you. You pause when you open your closet door, taking out the pyjama shirt you usually slept in. You stole it from the lair, though you knew Leo had just let you take it from his room. You fold it up and stuff it into the tote bag, along with a necklace he had gifted you for your three-month anniversary.
You open the window, peeking outside to see if heâs still around. He wasnât. You place the bag onto the small ledge, step back into your room and shut the window.
The boys find out you can speak a different language (BAYVERSE)
(y/l) = Your Language
Sorry if some of these might be short
Leo
-You had just came to the lair to see your boyfriend and his brothers but you seemed to come at a bad time
-Leo and Raph were fighting in the dojo while Mikey was reading a comic and Donnie was working on something in his lab
-You went over to Donnie because you needed help with some words in (y/l)
-You kept on forgetting those certain words and you thought Donnie might help you since heâs studied most languages (Thatâs a small head cannon some people have and I wanted to include it)
-Donnie did know (y/l) and helped you straight away
-While you were with Donnie, Leo and Raph both stormed out of the dojo
-Raph went to his room and Leo was on his way to the kitchen when he overheard you talking with Donnie
âSo itâs like this? *Insert a word in (y/l)*?â
âYes, that is correct!â
-He didnât want to disturb you so he just waited for you to come to him
-After the whole thing you went to Leo to ask him if he wanted to talk about that fight, but instead he wanted to talk about what you and Donnie were doing
-Once you told him that you always forget certain words in your mother language and wanted to see if Donnie could help, Leo was impressed that you knew (y/l)
(Can you tell who my favorite character is..?)
Raph
-The first one you showed your language to was actually Mikey
-When you showed him that you could speak (y/l) you obviously expected this sentence to come out of his mouth
âCan you teach me some!?â
-So thatâs what you were doing, you were teach Mikey how to speak in your mother language
-You usually do it when all of the other brothers arenât present so you wouldnât be suffocated with questions from all of them until one red clad turtle overheard you
-Raph was leaving the weight room to get some water when he overheard you and Mikey talking
â*Says sentence in (y/l)*â
âThatâs good Mikey! Now letâs try this word.â
âI didnât know you could speak a different language?â
-You turned your head to face your boyfriend
âOh yeah I did, I just never told any of you. Well until now since Iâm teaching Mikey some words and sentences and you just overheard.â
-Raph laughs a bit and leaves you two alone to continue but he was proud to have a partner that knows a second language
Donnie
-Donnie was having trouble with one of his inventions
-The thing was that on the instructions of the piece he needed to put in was in a certain language he didnât understand (letâs just say he didnât learn/study your certain language)
-He didnât want to use a translator because those things get everything wrong most of the time
-You appeared shortly after greeting his brothers and your eyes fell on your stressed boyfriend
-You peered over his shoulder quietly (And he didnât catch you even though heâs a ninja) and looked at the instructions in (y/l)
âAre you wondering what that says..?â
âAh! Oh, yes I am..â
âAlright, let me help you.â
-You started to translate the instructions for him in English while he got to work
-He was really grateful but later he will ask you to teach him, he doesnât want to put you in danger if the invention youâre helping him with is dangerous
Mikey
-Sometimes you wanted nothing more to just scream at Raph in (y/l)
-And thatâs exactly what you did today
-Raph was bullying Mikey as he sometimes will but you could tell it was affecting Mikey a bit
-So you have had enough, you got in front of Mikey and just started to yell at Raph in (y/l)
-Both Raph and Mikey were shocked and soon Raph got the message to leave you and Mikey alone even if he didnât understand what you were saying
âYou okay Mikey?â
âYeah Iâm totally fine...Can you teach me how to say swear words in that language?â
-He was Happy and one, his partner could defend him and two, he gets to learn swear words in the language his lover speaks
A/N: This was supposed to be a six part fanfic, but I have spiraled. Enjoy!

Raphael x Fem!Reader
Dreaming wasnât fun anymore.
It was all too close to reality, so dull and bordered on exhausting with the effort it took to avoid Raphael. Why did avoiding him have to be so hard? And why did it hurt every time she turned away from him? Just because he was her âsoulmateâ didnât mean she had to see him. Right?
âAnyway, he is totally into you!â Sarah claims with a wave of her fork towards the most popular guy in school. âYou have to go talk to him!â Y/N let her gaze travel to Matt. He sat laughing with a few guys from the football team. Quarterback, great grades, and good looking, some would venture to say he was perfect. So why did her stomach churn at the thought of him?Â
âI...donât think so.â Y/N shook her head as she looked back at Sarah.
The redheadâs jaw dropped. âWhat? Why?â She narrowed her eyes. âThereâs somebody else isnât there?â Everything in Y/N said to not talk about it, to not tell her about Raphael, but Sarah was her best friend. Surely it wouldnât hurt.
âMeet me after school and weâll talk.â

Raph moved quickly, quietly, his heart pounding harder than it ever did in any fight as he neared her apartment building. Donnie had given him a strange look when Raph asked for Y/Nâs address, but all the same had agreed to cover for him.Â
He stopped, tucking himself into the shadows, taking a guess as to which dark window was hers. He didnât have to wait for long to know for sure. The light clicked on and she came into view. Raph couldnât breath.Â
She was gorgeous.
He watched as Y/N moved through her room, hanging her backpack on the door, placed her keys in a dish and settled down at a desk in front of the window. It gave him a perfect view of her. The light cast itself over her skin, played in her braid, and danced with the movement of her hand as she began to write.Â
Raph itched to go to her, to let her see him in reality. To touch her, hold her, and hear her voiceâ for real. But how could he? She didnât want him, didnât want a soulmate. Besides, he barely knew her, and he got the feeling he never really would if he approached her now.
With one last glance at the window, Raph turned and left.
